I hatched a shiny once in GSC where the odds are higher from the egg you receive from the Daycare. But in every other version, the odds of hatching a shiny Pokemon are the same as encountering them in the wild. You have a 1/8192 chance.

In Pearl I hatched 2 shinies from eggs.

The same as finding one in the wild... unfortuantly... :oops:

i have never had a shiny, and ive played for about 300 hrs on my sapphire. At least i used to. My brother got a shiny ratta once, and he has played longer than me.

btw congarts hope that shiny will help you with many trades in d/p. If you chose to trasfer it.

My friend hatched a shiny rhyhorn in diamond, a told him it was a glitch and it might screw up your game so he gave it to me.

I used to have shiny camerupt, azumarill and nidoking. My friend (who has silver) once encountered a shiny ditto but thought it was a glitch in the game( He didn't know about shinies then) so he turned it off.

I've never hatched a Shiny, although I have found a Shiny Ratticate and Nincada, and a Shiny Wingull for my friend.

Is it possible to get a Shiny by running all the steps to hatch the egg except the last one, save the game, and keep hatching that same egg again and again until it gives a Shiny? Or is it decided that the egg will hatch a Shiny pokemon when you get it?

I've had/got many shinys, but the only shiny I've ever got from an egg was my Scyther in Crystal.
