For some weird reason I got a bad egg buying 10 pokeballs 5 times and after having 3 pokemon at level 10 what is this bad egg and is this a glitch?

Bad Egg is usually associated with cheating devices. It will not hatch (all though some ppl have said the hack'd it to hatch and it ruin'd there games). It does pretty much nothing but take up space on your team/in you computer as I've heard you can't toss it.

THIS IS THE MOST DEVASTATING GLITCH IN THE WHOLE GAME!!BUT AS LONG AS U DONT DO 2 THINGS.NUMBER 1 DONT HEAL YOUR POKEMON WITH BAD EGG IN YOUR PARTY. NUMBER 2 DONT HATCH IT.HERES HOW YOU GET IT. YOU NEED A ACTION REPLAY AND 2 DEOXYS.GO TO LANNETES PC AND GO TO MOVE POKEMON.KEEP ON SWITCHING THE 2 DEOXYS AND EVENTUALLY YOU WILL HAVE A BAD EGG.IT IS AVIRUS BUT ONLY EFFECTS YOUR GAME IF YOU DO THE 2 THINGS I TOLD YOU NOT TO DO. IF YOU DO THE FIRST THING THE NURSE LADY SAYS THAT YOUR POKEMON HAVE BEEN INFECTED WITH A PESTICIDE AND AFTER THAT YOU CANT TURN OFF YOUR GAME CAUSE YOUR MEMORY WILL BE DELETED. IF YOU DO THE SECOND THING IT WILL FREZZE YOUR GAME AND YOU HAVE TO TURN IT OFF BUT OTHER THAN THAT NOTHING.

How'd you get the bad egg?

Well,this bad egg is a pokčmon egg with the pokčrus,but in this egg.....there's nothing,and the game freeze.(This is my opinion on it)

I got it with a Ga*****rk. I wanted a vulpix at level 37. So I put the Ga*****rk and instead of vulpix was a bad egg. :neutral:

Do you have a significant game started, or can you restart your game?

I know I used a gameshark on my ruby and sapphire and my fr/lg and everytime now I can not trade between different versions, I dont know if it's cause of that but still im not cheating ever again..

The same thing happened on my Sapphire, and I never sharked it. It's just a messed up connection, most likely.

I got after having all my pokemon at level 10 (3) and and after buying 50 pokeballs and 5 Premeier balls.

Is that the reason, because if it is, that's pretty complex. Were you trying to do a different cheat and ended up with this?

I have never heard of that glitch or had it. I never used a cheating device on my games. I cloned some pokemon in Crystal though :susp:

I never use the egg codes, just look for Pokemon, type in numbers, and throw your cloned Masterball to easily catch the Pokemon. :biggrin: Course the Mew clone in FR/LG doesn't even work, crashed my PC on FR and have to restart that game, but I already had won easily. Lance/Gary were a major pain in the butt, took 5 times to beat them!

Another way to get Bad Eggs is to have on the Catch Trainer Pokemon code, and another code that changes the Pokemon's data (level, gender, etc). When you catch the Trainer's Mon, it'll be a Bad Egg instead. BUT if you use JUST the CTP code, it's a nifty way to fill your PokeDEX. Not totally fair, but meh. I don't use it against live opponents anyways (don't know if I even can, though I wouldn't if I could: that'd be just plain wrong). Don't know if this applys for Emerald, as I speak from experience with my Ruby version.
