View Full Version : Mac Problems
I try every couple of weeks to see if NB will download on my computer, and it still hasn't worked. I tried to contact Ian (or whoever runs NB), but got no response. Is it not Mac accessable?

Nope, I don't think Mac is able to run NB. =\

if you know how to get onto the IRC universe, you can use RSbot instead...

Yeah I have an iMac G4 so I can't use NB. Just download Snak or ircle and you can connect to RSBot. Once you download one of them, just connect to the irc.your-irc.net (Anope IRC) server and join the #rsarena channel. Type: /query darkbot help. As you can tell by my signature, I use Firefox. Firefox has an extention called ChatZilla, which lets you connect to the IRC universe. Take care.

lol, but Macs are good for media stuff, so I hear.
And IRC is more than just pogeyman! It's also good for manga, anime and other file sharing :p

Er, they are better than Windows in every way except for compatibility with NetBattle and a few MMORPGS. Plus, you can run Virtual PC to run Windows on a Mac anyway. There is also an open-source pseudo-emulator project called DARWINE. I still don't see the point in buying a computer than gets affected by viruses and spyware. Can someone tell me why Windows is so popular? Thanks and take care.

It came first, better marketing, and program compatibility are the main ones.
Doesn't exactly make people want to buy Macs when they learn how to use Windows at school and stuff either.
