This is a story about Luna, a monkey. With his arrows and his friends NightOwl, Batty, and NightRat, it was impossible to lose the war.

(Some names might seem Warrior-Like)

Luna thoughts...
Why does my father, Moon, and my uncle, Sun fight?

Some say because their exact opposites. But no one knows except for them.

I am in this war because of my father. But I got to approve myself, right?

Chapter 1
I was walking with my group in the forest. The forest was a dark place, and we like it here.

“NightOwl, NightRat, and Batty, should we rest here?” I asked all of them.

“Yes, sir! We can’t get ambushed in the forest!” NightOwl replied.

I climbed a tree while NightOwl found a hollow tree to sleep in. Batty rested in a cave while NightRat didn’t sleep.

I had a dream, actually a nightmare. My uncle and dad were fighting, and then my uncle used a power so powerful it put my dad in flames. Moon then said to me, “You are our last hope!”

I had no idea what it meant. But this tragic moment was ruined by NightOwl and Batty’s arguing. I opened my eyes.

“What do you mean you didn’t eat NightRat? NightRat is gone! Gone, I tell you!” Batty yelled angrily at NightOwl.

“I didn’t eat him! I was sleeping!” NightOwl was getting irritated.

“Luna, NightRat is gone! There must be a spy in the forest!” Batty yelled.

I jumped down a tree and shook my head. I didn’t feel like talking. I then walked outside the forest.

A lot of Moon bodies were on the ground. This must be Sun’s quadrant. We still have to cross it though.

“Batty, you get the skies. I and NightOwl will get the ground,” I ordered. Batty then went flying into the sky, scanning the area.

“Look! An enemy! Shoot it!” NightOwl told me. Of course, I released an arrow at it. Bullseye. The critter started to fall.

It was a bat. I shot an arrow at a fellow comrad.

“Wait, who was the bat you shot with an arrow?” I can’t believe NightOwl don’t even know the Guards of this quadrant.

“You don’t know? He’s the most famous bat guard in this quadrant.” I looked at NightOwl, “Why did I have do friendly fire?”

“It was my fault. I told you to shoot the guard.” NightOwl then looked in the sky, “Battty, how your doing?”

“Fine. But this is our sector. There is a spy on the Moon side.” Batty then flew down onto the ground and nailed a perfect landing. Batty looked at the bat, sad.

"Who is this damn bat?” NightOwl asked.

“He is named Bat Bat. He was aggressive sometimes, but mostly defensive,” Batty answered it perfectly, no doubt.

We moved on. We walked through this quadrant with many bodies missing legs.

We got out of this quadrant very easily. I could tell it was Sun’s quadrant because of the rottweilers guarding the border. Two rottweilers were eating a few cats from the Moon side.

“I hungry. Must get Moon.” One of the rottweilers must have half a brain, because I shot an arrow and it ducked because it was going to eat a rat.

I aimed one more at the same one. It was a bullseye. The dog soon began falling.

“RottyRockie, you get the bat!” A bulldog ordered to the rottweiler. I didn’t want to mess with him.

I shot an arrow at the other dog. It missed, and then charged toward me. It bit my leg so hard it felt like one thousand needles going inside me. I think I was about to fall, and then I shot an arrow at the rottweiler. It fell to the ground. I slammed to the ground.

“Luna, no!” Batty yelled. I don't remember anything else though.

I woke up, lying in a hospital bed. The doctor, MedicalOwl, was telling a nurse something. I was sure he didn’t know I was awake.
“That leg of his might not heal.”
