Shiny Pokemon: is there an easier way?

I've been trying to catch a Shiny Raltsfor Pokemon Ruby, and I haven't come close on finding any kind of Shiny Pokemon. Is there an easier way of finding Shiny Pokemon for Pokemon Ruby?

no, sorry to say. a shiny comes up randomly. your chances on finding one is like 1 out of a million or even more than that. it's really hard.

There is no easy way to obtain a shiny naturally.

However, if you have a Gameshark, you are able to enter a code into it in which you can make ANY Pokemon you encounter shiny-- although, it can result in glitches occasionally. But that's cheating to most people, and most people don't want to cheat.

breeding is the same way also. it's really random. if u get one then it's just the luck of the draw. it's kinda like a big wheel, 98% of the wheel is normal pokemon, and 2% of the wheel is shiny pokemon. if u spin it then u r most likely going to get a normal pokemon. thats how i look at it.

Chaining is in the Diamond and Pearl versions, where you use the PokeRadar to find Pokemon. Here's a good video guide:

Chaining is using the PokeRadar in D/P to get the same Pokemon over and over again (like Shinx after Shinx after Shinx, etc.) which increases the chance of that Pokemon being shiny. So by using that mehtod, you would have a better chance in getting a shiny Ralts in D/P than in Ruby. More information can be found in the stickied thread in the D/P board.

The actualy chance is 1 in 8192.

I've heard that you have a one in a million chance of meeting a shiney pokemon, and one in a billion of finding a shiney legendary.
