Mew in Emerald

Right, I've heard you can catch Mew in Emerald. Is this true? My mate tells me I have to have this Old Chart Map, though, and I've been looking everywhere for it. Could someone tell me how I do it?

the only legit way to get it would be through an event that nintendo was going to have but it never happened in the US, only in Japan
but you can use game shark or AR to get it too

Yeah, but the one they had last year didn't have Mew:disapp: that was the only one I wanted, but they gave away Manaphy instead. The one with Mew, Ho-oh, Lugia, and the rest of them was like two or three years ago.

There are 2 ways of getting Mew:

Go to a Nintendo Event and get the Old Chart Map/Mew itself (to name one, the Toys 'R' Us event in the U.K)

Use Gameshark/Action Replay

you can get mew in emerald,,, but you need to defeat battle frontier first,,,, then go to the pacifidlog town and go to the house at the bottom right.... talk to the old man looking in the window,,,he says that he can see the mirage island,,, go there but buy many ultra balls,,,, and voila.... you have a mew!!!!

No you don't that's complete nonsense, the only place mew is found in Emerald is Faraway Island and its ticket is obtained through an Event.

Yes he's right mew is only found on far away island.Oh yea and mirage island is also refered to as Wynut island as that is the only pokemon you can find on the island.

You do realize that Faraway Island is also known as World's Edge Island by some?
