Emerald Mew!

Hey guys long time no post! Sorry i've been a bit busy with exams ^^. So, Ive just bought Emerald off the internet! And im praying it works, because i'm looking forward to it!

I've been doing my research, and i've been looking up Mew. I'm wondering, do i need a special ticket to capture it? Or is it just on Faraway Island after Defeation of the Elite 4? Thanks guys, good to be back ^^

i guess in Emerald you won't need ticket, but I am not sure...

Serebii says something about needing a ticket, so I guess that you're not gonna be grabbing mew that easy. Can never know unless you try, though.

Yeh, thaats what I thought. For Ho-oh and Lugia it says about a ticket. For Mew, it just says " on Faraway Island ". Thanks guys :happy:

No,you need a ticket to go to World's Edge Island.
If i'm right,the ticket is that on the right side(naturally,the image is enlaged)

thats not a ticket thats a poster of the new pokemon movie: "Mew and the (whatever) hero"

and you need a ticket to reach mews island im for sure and it ´will take some time before you will be able to buy it lol

In pokemon emerald, you'll need a ticket that i think is called the old sea chart.Right now the only way to get mew is to use gameshark/action replay/or codebreaker codes to get to faraway island.

Now theres only gameshark codes that aren't offcially made but are made by people that use gameshark and i tried 4 of them and they work.I tried the codes to get to navel rock, birth island, faraway island, and slateport city.

I don't think it's even possible to get mew without Nintendo events or gameshark codes... :ermm: I've used codes to get my mew...

You could get him on RBY with some glitch, so effectively you could also get it on GSC by trading ... Nothing in R/S though. :sad:

Huh? Are you using vba? I played Sapphire, and got a mew with the wild modifier codes.

Oh yeah, the gameshark codes of course still work. But for the RBY glitch nothing was required, just a Game Boy and cartridge. =P
