I really, really, really, REALLY!, need to know the Pokemon that allows me to go to Mirage Island. It's so annoying and I need the berries ASAP!

its like impossible b/c, from my understanding, it has to be a certain pokemon with a certain id and the pokemon and id change everyday so either get a gameshark or good luck to you

Now this island can only be seen one way, and it's complicated. Each day, Mirage Island gets assigned a random number. Now Mirage Island only appears when a Pokémon on your team has the same number as Mirage Island's number. Now the number changes every day and it must match the Island's. It also has to be a Pokémon on your team. This makes your chances of seeing Mirage Island very rare.

The problem is that they don't exist in R/S/E...

Also, I've only seen Mirage Island once in the 5 years I've had Ruby. And, quite frankly, that was only because my friend let me use his AR to get there.

No, Pokémon in the 2nd and 3rd generations have always hatched at Lv. 5. That's nonsense anyways, the level doesn't change anything when it comes to making the Mirage Island appear. Pokepwnage 24-7 gave you the correct details on how it happens.
Essentially it's like getting a full match in Lilycove's lottery, but only using the Pokémon in your party :/

And no, the Event Tickets were to reach certain one-off Pokémon - Aurora Ticket(Deoxys at Birth Island), Mystic Ticket(Ho-oh and Lugia at Navel Rock).
Also the EON Ticket(Lati@s at the Southern Island) in R/S/E, and the Old Sea map(Mew at Faraway Island) in Emerald(Japanese only).

This thread is turning into a babble since most people are just talking crazy...NO THERE IS NO "LVL 1 ZIGZAGOON" in R/S/E and that's FLAT.... Ok let me get this straight, ANY pokemon can be the mirage pokemon, the pokemon changes everyday and this is basically judged by the "ID" of that pokemon, the ID assigned to the mirage pokemon changes (so does the pokemon) so that means that the only way to avail the chance to see the Mirage Island is to try out allthe pokemon you have captured and keep it in the party (one after another) and talk to the old guy who can see the Island...By the way frankly speaking sojourning this Mirage Island is really not worth the hassle...all you'll find are some Leichie Berries and Wynauts ...
