Do game programs have Brain Farts?

Well, I'm breaking my own little promise by posting, but I realy wanna know what the opinions of people are about this.

While I've been away, I've been playing Emerald. Since Emerald is simply a program, I think mine had a very beneficial Brain Fart. A Glitch of sorts.

When I started (not even 2 hours into the game), I encountered a http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/avatars/shinyem/261.png on the Route North of Littleroot.
Then, soon after I encountered a http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/avatars/shinyem/278.png on the Route north of Oldale.
A bit later, I encountered a http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/avatars/shinyem/266.png in the Forest.
While looking for an Abra in the route west of the Rusturf Tunnel, I encountered not one, but two http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/avatars/shinyem/290.png.
I thought my shiny streak was over for a while, but I encountered not one but three http://www.serebiiforums.com/images/avatars/shinyem/343.png. I caught the first and then the third. I actually thought I wasn't gonna get any more, since I KOed the second one.

Now, here's why I think it's a Glitch: All of my Shiny Pkmn have the Lonely Nature, and the ones I have multiples of have the same exact stats. Freaky, huh? :eek:

Anybody have any comments?

Freaky. But to make this post long enough, that's a good glitch isn't it? Lots of shinies...

Well, you could be just simply really, really, really, really, really, really, really, [...] freaking lucky.

Does it still do it now?
If not, trade those mons over to another version, restart, and REPEAT! :biggrin:
If yes, catch all the legendaries, restart, and REPEAT! :biggrin: :biggrin:

Just because the chance is slim doesn't mean it never happens... It's just that when it does ppl think it's a miracle :p

I ran into 3 shinies in the same hour playing Crystal last semester instead of studying for exams. My brain farted so I KO'd them all :D

That wasnt a glitch, but extremely lucky. I hate u... GRR!!!! Such a waste of good pokes...

And, the earlier thing looks like a glitch. After all, its probably a stat program faliure, that updates the current-encountered stats when you meet a new poke. But, you were lucky enough to get a shiny sta during the program faliure. Nice!!

Uh, my point was that lucky things happen. And if you go catching a LV 2 Rattata and a Lv 2 Pidgey, they might even have the exact same stats. Big deal, it's luck, (the higher the level, obviously the greater the luck needed, and after a certain point, that just won't happen anymore, depending on the base stats of the 2 pokemon, but...)

Just like I found so many shinies in an hour, you can do it too. Not everyone is automatically a glitch, you know... Have faith in the game programming!
