Good Grass Poke for Emerald?

Does anyone know what a good grass pokemon for emerald would be?

I would choose Roselia Because It has A lot of powerful attacks in my opnion

If not Roselia,I would pick Breloom

Pick ludicolo. It has a lot of HP and special defense and is good as an annoyer.

why not start with treeko, would that work?
by the way, roselia nd breloom and that other one suck. :susp: why not try an older pokemon like... i dunno.
forget the grass pokemon anyway, they suck. go for a poison type or a bug type if you want something similar

Actually, Breloom can be a very good Mon if it's used right. And good Poison Pokemon are pretty rare (the Nidos are good, but they're about the only ones IMO). Good Bugs are also quite rare: most people use Ninjask or Heracross. In fact, I have never seen another Bug in competitve play.

At any rate, he wants advice on Grass Pokemon. I do like Breloom, that li'l sucker can be evil with the standard m-set of Leech Seed/Spore/Sub/Focus Punch. Though I prefer Leech Seed/Spore/Giga Drain/Focus Punch. It's a bit more risky, can can be damned hard to kill if you use him right.

Uhm.....I think:
Ludicolo,with rain dish,he have a lot of Hp and he can restore them simply
Shifty,I think can be good,with Extrasense
Breelom,yes,is a good choice.Only his double weak....

Yeah, I think Ludicolo is a pretty good pokemon but I went with a choice of either Shiftry or Cacturne. I chose Shiftry cause it is pretty powerful. Cradily would be a pretty good choice too.
