Sorry about the length. This is a continuation of my friends fan fic, an unrevised version.
EarthClan resembles WindClan, although my friend said RiverClan, IceClan is ThunderClan, CloudClan is RiverClan, and FireClan is ShadowClan. It doesn't include very many characters, but I'll add more when I revise it.

Chapter 2: EarthClan
Mosspaw rolled out of his bed of moss, shaking the dust off his pelt. He was a new EarthClan apprentice who had only been training for a quarter-moon. He stalked across the apprentice's den, a small underground cave in the EarthClan camp, the only light was the sun filtering through the small entrance. Mosspaw tried to avoid the dark lumps of fur sleeping as he weaved his way over to his best friend in EarthClan, Sunpaw. She was a heap of orange fur that hardly looked alive in the dark, except for the occasional movement of her flank, a sign that she was breathing.
Mosspaw prodded her in the side to wake her up, although he was scared of what her reaction might be. If Sunpaw was in a good mood, she was great to have around, but if in a bad, Mosspaw didn't even want to think about that. She looked around, blinking in confusion, revealing her beautiful blue eyes.
“Who...who...who is it?” She asked, still puzzled.
Mosspaw let out a sigh,”It's me, Mosspaw!” She obviously wasn't used to being awoke by him, as he had been sleeping in the apprentice's den for only a quarter-moon.
“Oh, Mosspaw...I could kill you for waking me up so early, that was my best sleep in days!” Sunpaw mewed playfully. Mosspaw let out a sigh of relief, if she were in a bad mood, she would flay him to pieces!
“Sorry, well anyways, I thought we should get a start on our training today, if our mentors are even awake,” Mosspaw explained.
“Good idea, Mosspaw, now let's get out of here, I can hardly see!” Sunpaw mewed, shaking water that had dripped off of the cave ceiling off of her pelt. The pair of apprentices made their way out of the cave, into the sun-lit EarthClan camp. It was dawn, and the camp was full of activity. Glancing around the camp, Mosspaw saw elders telling an apprentice, Dirtpaw, a story about the 'old days'. He saw warriors sharing gossip and eating fresh-kill, and kits play fighting with sheathed claws.
“Hello, apprentices.” Mosspaw jumped as his mentor and father, Rainstorm, a dark gray tom with the same blue eyes as Mosspaw, and Orangetail, an orange tom with blue eyes, dark orange paws and a dark orange tail, Sunpaw's mentor, stalked up behind them.
“Hi, Rainstorm and Orangetail,” Mosspaw responded.
“Hello,” Sunpaw said a little bit late.
“Specklepelt said that you two...especially you,” He mewed, pointing his tail at Mosspaw,” need some battle training today.
“Finally!” Sunpaw mewed, bouncing up and down excitedly, “Battle training! I can't wait!” She finished. Mosspaw couldn't share her excitement, he had never been in battle training, or a battle, for that matter, and knew he was just going to mess up.
“Cheer up, Mosspaw, we will hunt afterwards, which is something I know you're good at.” Rainstorm mewed. Mosspaw knew he was right, he was one of the best apprentice hunters matched only by Blackclaw, his rival.

“Okay, Mosspaw, hit me with your best shot!” Sunpaw mewed. Mosspaw growled running at a full sprint towards her. He leaped at the last second, but she dodged easily. Mosspaw landed on the hard, grassy ground with a thud, sending clouds of dust into the air around him. “Nice try,” Sunpaw jeered.
“That's easy for you to say, you've done this before!” Mosspaw responded, already leaping back at her. She tried the same trick as last time, but this time he wouldn't be fooled. Mosspaw swerved around, swiping Sunpaw's feet. She dropped to the ground, and Mosspaw leaped on her back, pretending to bit into her throat. “I won!” He mewed happily.
“You're good, Sunpaw, but you can't keep using the same technique over and over.” Orangetail scolded.
“Yes, sir.” She mewed, tail drooping. Mosspaw was trotting up next to her, but as he neared, he saw her ears prick. She leaped backwards, landing behind Mosspaw.
“Wha- what are you doing?” Mosspaw asked, surprised.
“Winning” Sunpaw hissed, attacking Mosspaw's back.”Looks like you've just been defeated,” Sunpaw taunted.
“Don't let you're guard down!” Rainstorm yowled across the Training Clearing. As Sunpaw backed away, Mosspaw prepared for his next attack.

The four cats journeyed into the open plains, on the lookout for rabbits, mostly. It was a treat for most Clans, but for EarthClan, it was an average meal. Suddenly, Mosspaw saw Rainstorm's ears prick.
“I think he found-” Mosspaw started before Rainstorm darted into the bushes. In less than thirty seconds, he walked back out, a rabbit dangling from his jaws. “Nice catch!” All the cats complimented.
As they talked about the catch, Mosspaw heard yet another rabbit. Oh I've got this one, he thought. He darted into the bushes, not minding the bramble thorns prickling at his fur. He was gaining on the rabbit until he finally go into range. He leaped, almost missing as he landed, only holding the white furred bunny by the tail. He reached forward with a second paw and delivered a killing blow to the back of its neck. “Gotcha!'” He mewed, walking back to the party of cats.
“Good job!” Sunpaw mewed first, followed by their mentors.
“Now let's continue,” Orangetail ordered.

The group of Clan cats arrived back at the camp past sunset with an enormous amount of fresh-kill in their jaws.
“Perfect timing, too,” Rainstorm said, “Feed the elders and then get to bed, we should be on patrol tomorrow. He urged them to the elder's den.
“Oh yay! Patrol!” Mosspaw mewed sarcastically when they were out of ear-shot. Sunpaw nodded, entering the elder's den, a circle of bushes next to a large oak tree. “Well here's your food,” the pair mewed, leaving the den as quickly as possible. Mosspaw was tired, and apparently Sunpaw was, also.
The two apprentice's walked across the clearing to their den, a tangle of bramble bushes, right across from the warrior's den. They weaved across the sleeping apprentices and back to their 'beds' of moss. Mosspaw curled up next to Sunpaw and felt sleep overcome him.
