Buy the Power Lens for 16 Btl Points and it will give you +4 for Sp.atk. There is a Pychic trianer on rout 214 right outside SpringPath. If you challenge him with the Vs. Seeker he will have a Gengar and Alakazam for +3 in Sp.Atk but the 1st time u face him they will only be hanter and kadabra. Add the +3 and +4 that gives you +7 for the gengar and +7 for the Alakazam. but watch out they are lvl 58!

Only Evolved forms of certain pokemon give "3" EVs in Special attack such as Alakazam and Gardevoir or Legendary pokemon (Kyogre, Mewtwo, Latios etc), I know you want to get EVs in Sp.attack as quickly as possible , so I'll tell you the best place to train for that and that's on the Volcanic path, located at a bearing of 90 degrees (while facing the pokemon center at Fallerbor town), infinite Spindas appear & each gives only 1 EV to Sp.Attack however its a very reliable place to train since you kill them in one shot and they appear 95%(approx) of the time.

Ah, you beat me to it.

But, yes, Spindas are most effective, especially with Pokerus and a Macho Brace on, it goes by very quickly. Moreover, it evenly divides into 252 (2 or 4), so you won't have to count it so tediously.
