IMPORTANT: READ THE RULES IN THIS POST, THEY HAVE BEEN UPDATED

-Battles will be 3 vs 3, Revolution, no items, no helds, sleep clause, freeze clause, normal terrain, duel cards on.

-When you fight another trainer, both must use an equal number star chips as an ante. The winner gets the bet, the loser gets nothing. If a trainer loses all chips, he/she is out of the tournament. There is no limit to how many star chips you can wage as an ante. You can only get a total of seven stars in the first round, so if you wage more than you could gain, you'll end up at seven anyway. In the rare case there is a draw, the bet remains as it is, though you can't battle again for the day.

-You may only have one duel battle per day, win or lose.

-Duel cards can only be used once per duel. That means you can use them again in a new battle.

-Only one card can be activated per turn. The turn pokémon are sent is not valid for activating cards.

-Each card has a star number. You can only use a number of cards in a battle that adds up to 4 for this round. That means, one Danny, one Sabrina and one Morty, two Chuck's, or three Morty's (40% chance of confusing the opponent here, for example).

-Only three cards per battle will be allowed this round.

-Each booster pack contains THREE EXTRA CARDS, from 1 to 4 stars. If I'm not around to roll for which cards you get, any moderator and co-official may do so, with one witness at least. Additional people that CAN roll for cards include: Gun6, Smurf and Sigma_. Post the roll here, though.

-At the beginning of the match, you must state all the cards that you own. However, you don't have to state which cards you are going to use.

-Battle cards are activated AFTER A TURN ENDS, and BEFORE A TURN BEGINS.
Example:
Ref: "T-wave hits! Starmie is paralized!; Surf hits! Alakazam at 68%. Moves?"
Marth (THROUGH AIM): I'll use Chuck's Flying Kick on his Starmie.
Harry (THROUGH AIM): I'll use Erika's Flower Powder on my Starmie"
**NOTE: Fastest Pokémon Trainer's card is activated first. **
Ref: Marth activates Chuck's Flying Kick! Starmie at 75% PAR. Harry activates Erika's Flower Powder! Starmie gets rid of Paralyze! Moves?
**NOTE: Sandstorm, toxic, poison and such effects are not applied again since a new turn has not started yet.
If only one player sends a card, though, the opponent may re-send his move according to the battle effect of the card.

-When you get four stars, you'll get a booster pack. When you get five stars, you'll get a booster pack. When you get six stars, you'll get a booster pack. (If you lose stars and get 4, 5 or 6 stars again, you don't get another booster pack. If you get 3 stars at once, you get all 3 boosters, if you were at 3 stars for example). When you get seven stars, you'll automatically pass to the next round. It is important to be the fastest in getting seven stars, though, because it will decide the order for picking...well, I'll tell you later.

-Challenge The Joker (Marth for this round) to a fight in order to win a booster pack of 3 cards that will NOT be disclosed to the public, plus 2 stars. (You may get your regular booster pack from these stars too) If you lose, you will not be able to fight for 3 days. Eg, if you lose on Monday, you won't be able to fight until Thursday. The Joker will select his cards before the match begins, limiting himself to cards from 1 to 3 stars.

-Refs must post the battle outcomes here, including the number of stars used as ante and the cards activated, alongside the numbers of the duelists.

-Any questions will be answered promptly, including those regarding to the use of any card. It is advisable to save a fight if you don't know how to resolve a card, and finish the fight later.

-FIRST 10 DUELISTS TO GET 7 STARS ADVANCE TO THE NEXT ROUND.

-Payments:
Winner gets 2000
Loser gets 1000
Ref gets 2000

pokeking was undetermined totally and didn't care while SalamenceMaster felt his ability to have depleted from his lack of recent experience before the battle. Garchomp was in a bad posisition against the ice typeling, so a Blaziken switch occured, who became frozen from the amazing Blizzard. Then Starmie switched in and fainted immediatly to the sheer power of Sheer Cold. Garchomp decided to face its fears. It used Stone Edge and Walrein decided to go with Sheer Cold... :neutral: It missed. Then Garchomp used Rock Slide, and then Walrein decided to use the right move, Blizzard, which annihilated Garchomp. The frozen Blaziken then took a barrage of Body Slams, allowing Walrein to add another knock out on its belt, and thus sweeping the whole team. No cards were used.

Once upon a time, a noble knight and a brave warrior sent a Sceptile and a vicious Gyarados into battle. The Grass creature began with and Electric punch, and then another which happened to paralyze its foe.

Then, a psychic being in a beautiful gown was sent to replace its Water-Flying companion, and thus began the longest era of the duel. The Grass lizard weakened the ballroom dancer immensely before Roaring it away and returning the magnificent Gyarados to the field.

Much to the noble knight's dismay, his emerald friend fell to the quaking of the earth. But fear not! A speedy weasel with a crown of crimson feathers was sent to avenge his defeated friend, and with one Dance of Swords, it was able to destroy the enemy with just one single attack for each of his minions.

2 chips anted. Yanmega avoided Stone Edge and put Garchomp to sleep with Hypnosis. Then Yanmega set up a Substitute as Garchomp slept. Then Air Slash after another came onto the sleeping Garchomp. Eventually, TE's Alakazam switched in followed by Fantina's Mind Trick to reverse Yanmega's Speed Boosts. Alakazam used Encore on the Air Slash and then Torment. Then, crazy used Chuck's Flying Kick somewhere in there to finish off Alakazam's health. Crobat came in and used Nasty Plot as it took an Air Slash. Then Crobat's Air Slash missed as it felt Psychic. Crobat scored the hit next time to take out the Substitute as it got hit by Air Slash again. Then a Quick Attack was Yanmega's last move before it got hit by Air Slash. Yanmega put Rhyperior to sleep and then Alakazam switched in to take a Giga Drain. TE activated Morty's Cackling Laughter, but it never saw any use, since Crobat used Confuse Ray, but Alakazam pulled through and used Psychic. Garchomp came in and continued to sleep, a roll of 7 was not good. Alakazam hit itself a lot, but eventually got the necessary Psychic through.

Starmie got Garchomp to around 20% before being forced out because of confusion. Aerodactyl then finished off all Screech's mons.
