Max: who else does he annoy?

I thought of an interesting way they could get rid of Max. Just have Ash tell Max about some of the rare Pokes he has seen in his travels.

Max's head would explode......

Ash could give Max an empty Pokeball, and Max could try to see if he can fight a wild Pokemon and see if he can get a first Pokemon for himself, kinda like what Ash did in the very first episode with those Spearows. But those were Spearows... imagine what Max might run into in his attempt...

BROCK: Hmm, looks like I'll only be cooking for three again...

Masato (Max) is about how I pictured him to be: an annoying little kid. I'm not saying all kids his age are annoying, but from what I had seen of him by the pictures, etc., I figured he would be annoying. I was right. To be honest I don't see the point of having a little kid traveling around with three young teenagers. Besides Masato seems to be a huge know-it-all. He constantly raves about how much he knows about Pokemon, and is always being annoying towards Haruka (May). But at least he got what he deserved in that "Which Wurmple's Which?" ep (Octillery squeezes his head, Wurmple sprays him with String Shot, and Corphish pinches his bum). :twisted:

Don't you guys get it? Whenever -any show- throws in a little kid, he's either annoying, or smart and annoying. Either way, it sucks. Lose/lose situation. Well...It's more like a bad/worse situation, and we have the worse part--he's smart -and- annoying.

Are you kidding? After what I saw May did to Ash in Petalburg since her family is so admired and visitors treated like dirt, Ash should've told May to stay behind since she's so loved. Any town that picks ribbons over badges really has a screw loose to give May THAT much love, sheesh! I hope Ash gets the respect he deserves by the time he leaves Petalburg. Max doesn't annoy anybody, it's May that has a few problems at times. :doh:

I think he's an ok character, actually. He's very smart about Pokemon and I think he'd make a great trainer if the stupid writers would just let him have a Pokemon. -_-
The only thing is, he's one of those people that learned from books instead of real life experience. If he had a 'mon of his own, he could begin to train and realize that books aren't 100% accurate and that being a trainer takes more than knowledge.
Once he undersands that, he'll lose that big head and be fine. :P
