I randomly picked a few mons and put 'em on a team.

HUHriyama (Hariyama) (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Thick Fat
EVs: 76HP/180Atk/252Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Rest
- Sleep Talk
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch/Stone Edge
---

The name says it all, HUH?
No STAB? Huh? But yeah, this beast does not need that much HP. Do not lead with this guy, common leads like gyara shut you down.

Claydol @ Leftovers
Ability: Levitate
EVs: 252 HP / 136 Def / 120 SpAtt
Relaxed nature (+Def, -Spd)
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake
- Stealth Rock
- Rapid Spin
---

A rapid spinner? Maybe. A Mixed Wall? Maybe. A Bomb? YES.
It makes a much better utility poke than a bomb. Blowing up your spin support is not good.

Granbull (F) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Thunderpunch
- Mega Kick/Mega Punch
- Attract
- Ice Punch
---

Tis' a Physical Sweeper. A fun one. WITH ATTRACT?
A physical sweeper with base 45 speed? Nonono. Scrap it.

Ariados (F) @ Life Orb
Ability: Insomnia
EVs:
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Return
- Poison Jab
- Bug Bite?
- Attract
---

Another PS With Attract.
See below for why you need to run as far away from this thing as possible.

Flareon (M) @ Choice Specs/Choice Scarf
Ability: Flash Fire
EVs: 252SpAtt/252Spd/6HP
Timid
- HP Grass
- Shadow Ball
- Flamethrower
- Overheat
---

Mixeeon, yay?
Not really. This poke's movepool is so shallow you need to dedicate it to get any use out of it. I'd normally suggest making it a passer but its brothers outclass it in this aspect. Look, its even reduced to having two attacks of the same type on the same set.

Tentacruel (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 204 HP / 96 SpA / 172 SpD / 36 Spe
Calm
- Surf
- Ice Beam
- Knock Off
- Toxic
---

Special... Thing.
That special thing is better.

I know, I suck.

You don't suck, you've got the basics which is more than can be said for most people. You just need to work on your choices... a lot. Smogon sums up ariados nicely:

He has the following qualities: slow, fragile, poor typing, terrible movepool. "Because I want to" is the only reason you'd ever be likely to use this awful arachnid.

Same goes for a couple of other pokes. Granbul and flareon both fail at the job you've picked for them, which ironically is the exact same job. Your team lacks a special sweeper completely, so use flareon if you insist on using him.

Also, I'd recommend using pokemon exclusive to one tier. If you are inexperienced by your own confession, you will have trouble using UUs in a stronger enviroment. So I'd either get rid of Harry and Tenta and go for UU, or get rid of flareon and Claydol and go for OU. Most importantly get rid of ariados and granbul altogether :P
