First time Pokemon Colosseum player

:sad:Is there any way to use 2 Gamecube controllers when playing Colosseum? I bought the game for my son who is really into Pokemon. I then find out that you need a GameBoy Advanced to play as a second player, which really sucks. If I can't use a second controller, are there any GameCube Pokemon games out there that you can use more than one controller on instead of a GBA?

I no there isn't a way. And no there isn't another pokemon game that lets you use another controller
