But no, the only time I ever slightly cried watching Pokemon was the first movie, when Ash jumped in between Mewtwo and Mew's beams and "died". Now I just look back at it and wish that he really did die. :sad:

What I said is half a joke. I mean come on, the show makes Pokemon look like it's for retarded children with no self-esteem. Every time someone says Pokemon sucks, I always ask if they played the games, and they always say "no, but the show sucks". The anime is what ruined the Pokemon franchise. I mean, I used to watch it all the time, but then I realized how dumb it was (Team Rocket, 'nuff said) and I started becoming embarrassed to watch it in front of my parents because they'll think I'm a retard or something. All cartoons and crap are like that anyways... so I guess it's not really different, but meh.

But if you play the games, you realize that the show fails hardcore because Ash is such a terrible Pokemon Trainer. I mean, who the hell releases a Charizard and a Pidgeot? :neutral:
