I personally think the game is quite cute, though I've personally never played it myself. I've watched videos though, and I adore the little Pokemon. What's your opinion on it?

Hm, well I think it's cute too, in an odd way. x3
I've seen alot of people complain about it, though. I guess it's nothing to pass the time, so I'm not planning on buying it, but it's cute. And hey- free Mew.

I think they're just adorable! I myself don't own a Wii,but if I did,I would certainly get it and try it out. I might just bring $10 to my neighbors house and get the Wii Points and all so I can order it. -shrugs-

So have I, what a surprise x]
I don't know whether I'm gonna get this. It looks alright, though.
That being said, I only really see it as extra PC space to be honest.

I think the game is only for serious Pokemon gamers who want to spend their 10 bucks on this game. I don't really find the game interesting or what not, but the Pokemon are adorable.

I bought it. <.<
I think it's freaking cute as all heck. The more Pokemon you deposit,
the more your ranch upgrades, and you get more and more features.
Plus, you get toys for the Pokemon to play with... And watching them
interact is so cute.
Plus, if you're like me, you NEED that extra storage space... So I love
it, personally. {It being cute isn't bad either. :P}

I'm gonna buy it when I get the money (I'm poor) Mainly because I despritley need the PC space plus the extra Mew and Manaphy.

I could always use some storage game to store my power houses, still, it will be difficult to fill the game with 1000 pokemons!
Another reason is that it has A LOT of tradeable pokemon.

It's fun and super cute. I already have 250 pokemon on there... But that's counting Hayley's. I've traded a few times.

I like it. It's cute, it's got in-game trades for pokemon I never bothered trying to get before due to my hatred of them, free Mew, and I seriouslly needed the extra space. I may have two games, but the one I do all my breeding/battling in was full to bursting. So far my ranch is only level 5... but then again I only got it yesterday and am (slowly) filling it up as I go along. So far I've gotten Pikachu and Pachirisu from Hayley. =3

I got it mainly for the storage but other than that I pretty much HATE it. I'm not too big on the cutesy factor since most pokemon are nuseatingly cute to begin with. The event pokemon are okay but nothing great since I already had the yukari versions from japan already.

I like it.
It's going to take me a while to breed the near-550 more poke to fill the thousand, but hey it's a start.
If only it had a way to sort the boxes easily! ie by number, by type, by level, by evolutionary state, etc.

Does this game really destroy your diamond game? Because I have pokemon that I have traded for over Gts and I don't want to find out that they were hacked and my game shut down.

Pokemon Ranch is a breeder's best friend. I'm considering getting it, that is, if I can sneak 1000 Wii Points off from my Spoinky Bank. >.<
Seeing as how I have so many leftovers, and I don't want to waste them either, I'd get Pokemon Ranch. :3
IT IS SOOOOOOO CUTE!!!

Well the one who said it destroyed his game early on on this thread scam trades and lies about just about everything... so yeah, I wouldn't believe anything that guy types at face value.

Does MPR access the internet at all? Or is it just the Wii when doing its Wii Connect 24 thing?

It looks cute, and worth my 10 bucks (1000 Wii points) once I get off this here chair and get some points, that is. I also want it so I can store my few [i]good[i/] Pokemon from Diamond, so I can restart my game, cuz I was a n00b and used AR, the games not messed up but I'm just sort of bored of Diamond right now, since I did the evil complete Pokedex thing, and I sorta lost track of what pokemon are hacked which one aren't >:3

You should find your Diamond before you buy it, it looks like if you don't it sucks all the fun out, and does anybody know who this whole "upgrade" system goes? Also, sorry for double post, can't Quote+edit at the same time when posting from my Wii (USB keyboard ftw)

Don't do that.
You cannot store Pokemon from a specific game, restart it, then retrieve them. The Pokemon stored are bound to that save on that cart.

Eh? That sucks D:
So, if you want to save a Pokemon from a game, the Pokemon has to be availabe in both games?:eh:

I think the money is better spent on something like Defend Your Castle.
Maybe it's just cause I have plenty of space in my Diamond PCs already.

The game is good if you have a lot of Pokemon. Better if you have the National Dex. If you've just started D/P, or you don't even have D/P, don't waste your money. Sure, Hayley brings new Pokemon every day, but it's honestly only one.
But, the free Phione and Mew is nice.

Thats me, I'm just going to restart my Diamond then wait till I get the National dex to buy Ranch. And/or after I find my Emerald version

I kind of like it, but the pokemon look like they were drawn by five year olds. At least the bodies. I like it because she sends you a pokemon, and you can interact with the Diamond of Pearl.

If it wasn't deposited by that game, you can't withdraw it.
Unless you hack and change your IDs in the new game to the same as your old one.

its an ok game i am only in lv5(lvl up instantly xD) anyways is kinda fun :P
I like the game quite a bit. I enjoy seeing the Pokemon in a Chibi form. I like the fact that Hayley, encourages you to complete your Pokedex! The fact you can deposit Pokemon to the Ranch so you can have more space on your PC is rather awesome. Comes in handy for those who do a lot of breeding. I also enjoy watching the Pokemon run around and interact with one another around the Ranch too.

What I don't get is how Pokemon Box got such good reviews, and MPR got bad ones. I mean, Pokemon Box was a whole $20 and it was just a bunch of boxes. Literally. With bland sprites instead of 3D Models.
At least with MPR, you can get Mew, Phione, and watch your pokemon interact with each other. So what if the models look barely recognizable? The game designers had to make OVER 1000 MODELS!
493 Pokemon
+ 27 other unowns
+ a lot of spindas
+ 16 other Arceuses
+ Gender Differences
+ 2 other Burmies/Wormadams
+ Many Many Toys
+ The Ranch Itself
x 2 for the Shiny Pokemon Models
(The reason I'm comparing to Pokemon Box is that MPR is essentially it's sequal.)

Truth be told, that's not alot of memory with today's technology. Back in the 1990s, this game might have been a hit. However, not now. Its too simple, and the reviews are right. It looks like a screensaver on your television. It needs to be more inactive. Otherwise, its just another Mii Plaza that costs money. For example, I'd like to be able to select one of those short cutscenes to watch such as the Totem Pole or the Unown Keyboard. Those ideas are cool. I like them. However, I don't want to wait 15 minutes for them to start. This game could've had alot more. There could've been interactive games. There could've been puzzles. There could've been an option to go inside the barn. A mini fight option would be cool, as well. Like, all your Pokémon stand in a circle and two duke it out in the center. I understand this is an extra storage space, but it should be more than that, especially for $10. Don't get me wrong. I like the blocky little chibis. I like bringing my Miis to the Ranch. But what happened to a video game? There's no game involved. You just sit and watch.

It's still better than the $20 Pokemon Box, which had no interaction, no... anything, except being an extra PC.

That's why it's not a video game, but wiiware. |D But you're right. That would make it a lot better, even though I didn't buy it.

Even though It gets boring sometimes, I think It's a cute little game, and It just works for WiiWare. =p I especially like how the Pokémon look all cute and whatnot. Definitely worth the 10$ I had to spend on It. However, I can't help but to find It somewhat annoying that you have to completely fill up the Ranch to get Mew... But I suppose It's understandable, Mew IS extremely rare after all... But It still kind of Irritates me. Oh wells. =p
