National Dex, Ruby and Sapphire and trading.

This does seem like a fairly simple question. But no-one has asked it :happy: .But im not sure so i need some facts.

Anyhoo, the other day, I want to trade a pokemon to my Emerald. I havent yet defeated the E4 on Emerald. Since i do not have two wireless adaptors I used a cable. I went to the center, talked to the lady, did the A to start. B to cancel... and the lady said something like " Your version is not ready to trade" or " you arent able to trade at the moment".

Is this simply becuase I don't have the national dex, to trade with other versions. Thanks, :rolleyes:

That is because you must trade in the BATTLE FRONTIER. And the Adapter doesn't worj on ruby/sapphire.

I was able to cable-trade between r/s and e as soon as I got the pokedex in e. Can't trade fr/lg pokes or eggs until you get the national dex, even if you have them in r/s.

The battle frontier doesn't have anything to do with it.

i have the cable and 2 gba and ruby and sapphire i try to trade and get stuck at B Button: Cancel.. i have pokedex and all that i got 3 badges 8 on ruby i dont get it
