Ok, so as we all know, there's not much Brawl activity going around here. Hopefully, this Hall of Champions will stir up some more activity. Basically, this is a list of the best players here for each character. For example, one would challenge the current title-holder. If he/she wins, the title is passed on to that person, and it just keeps going on. I'm starting out from scratch here, so if anybody has suggestions for rules or anything else, just post it in this thread.

Just in case a user from the Jump! Ultimate Stars board at GameFAQs comes here and gets mad, I got this idea from the aforementioned board. Don't know who invented this system, though.

Rules
Challenging
All challenges should be posted in this thread and PMed to the title-holder.
The challenge post must include the challenger's name and Friend Code.
The current title-holder has one week to respond to the challenge. Then, the title-holder and the challenger can set a date.
The challenger must wait three days after the matches before challenging a title-holder again.
If the title-holder does not respond within one week, the title is passed to the challenger by default.
Only one person may challenge a title-holder at a time. This is why the challenge must be posted in this thread.
The title-holder may deny the challenge and give up his or her title.


Matches

The matches are a set of three. The best out of three wins.
The rules are set at 3 stock, no items.
All of the matches will be on Final Destination.
Obviously, you must use the character of the title you're fighting for.
Any resetting will result in a lost match. Make sure your sibling, dog, parent, or whatever cannot not distract you at the time.
If either player resets, the other player should either post in this thread or PM me about it. I'm hoping the player who reset will confess to avoid complication.
Results of the matches must be posted by both players.
After the results have been confirmed, I will switch the current title-holder's name with the challenger's.


Miscellaneous

You are not limited to one title. Although, I'd appreciate it if you guys only claimed the titles of your mains while they're empty. Three's a good number, I guess.
Feel free to brag about your title(s) in your signature. That's pretty much the point of the thread, anyway.
This isn't really a rule, but please try to minimize the amount of arguing about unfairness and cheating.
Zelda and Sheik are counted as separate characters. In a title match for Zelda or Sheik, you must stick to that character. This may be a temporary rule; I'm not so sure about it yet.
Samus and Zero Suit Samus are counted as separate characters.
Pokemon Trainer, because of the fatigue system, is counted as one character.
This may seem obvious, but you must have the character if you want that character's title.

As I stated before, since the list is empty, you may claim blank titles. But again, I would like it if you claimed the titles of characters you actually use. For example, right now, I'm going to claim Marth and Ness. Please include your name and FC when claiming a title.

Not quite. He can keep the title for now. It's my fault. I assumed everyone had all the characters. If you win the challenges matches, you get it. Of course, if he doesn't unlock him within a week, you get the title.

It takes a lot more than a few days, or beating friends to master a character. A lot of research and practice is required. Maybe after two weeks of solid training. Even then I would be hesitant, as you've claimed four characters. Play me after you practice with him more, and read about him at his board on smashboards.com. I'm still waiting for others to see this thread, anyway.

Hello. Um, I saw this thread and decided that this was pretty interesting. I can't play Brawl much due to my Wii having a certain problem with only Brawl discs, so I have to get it repaired. Still though, if I push the disc in enough times, it will work. I just can't use certain characters on the game, however...

Still though, Pikachu isn't one of them. In fact, he's probably my best character at the moment, so I would like to challenge for that spot. Anytime is good, and my WiFi is always turned on. So, can a PM be issued to me once a date is set?

Yeah, a lot of people are still getting used to my name change, as the same thing is going on for the countless amount of others who had username modifications. Still though, everyone can know me as both ColdBoy and SuperBoy. :P

But yeah, okay. I'll check back here often to see the updates on the match, and whenever the current one if finished and over with, I'll step in and terrorize the fields as the miniature, yellow mouse. :hungry:
