I can take your requests for banners and avatars. As for examples, I've created a banner that I may use for a team I will create in the future.

Just a few rules.
1. Don't SPAM
2. No complaints
3. Give the credit to me in your sig.

Now lets here some requests!

That was made in Paint, was it?

I'm sorry, but while Paint is good to some extent, it's not the most reliable graphics program. I suggest getting a program that lets you make gradients and that kinda of stuff. Aside from Photoshop, there are some free graphics programs as well.

These are the graphics programs I use. You can also look around Download.com for some free ones as well.

In any case, get a decent graphics program and try again.

Hopefully I'll get some requests tonight.

Wow, that is extremely bad. I'm sorry, but wih a banner like that, you won't be getting many requests.

Great way to encourage somebody... [/sarcasm]

Though that was made in paint, it isn't that great of a piece... practice in those free gfx programs, and show us what you can do with it... don't be afraid to experiment... just remember... there's no where to go but UP from Paint...

You better learn how to crtisize D.2, you do great banners, but you critisize harshly on new ones, and me too T_T.

Well, I would tell you one thing, get Photoshop 7.0, train on Filters by your self, then train using online tutorials then start brushin and in a month or so you'll be as good as I am ^_^...hopefully ^^;;

I'm sorry, I kind of tend to say what's on my mid, and well, for starters, all of the sprites should face the center. The Charizard, Moltres, and Rapidash all have some spots left that haven't been erased. The background is simple and not attractive, and the text is just about illegible.

It's okay. I really do need some work. That banner was so lame.

Tamer-I need to go get Photoshop. When I am ready, I will return to this thread.

It takes someone with a lot of dignity and a good (realistic) sense of self-worth to read harsh criticism and take out some helpful advice from it. You're willing to learn and try to improve yourself, and for that, you're alreay way above all the n00bs and jerks out there. Good job. You have the perfect attitude for this sort of thing. I hope that your skills improve rapidly, and you produce something that you can be really proud of, no matter what anyone else says!

As far as your banner is concerned, it really wasn't as bad as you think. Sure, it definitely reflects the limitations of MSPaint, as well as your own inexperience, but everyone has to start somewhere. At least you made an attempt to "pretty up" the background and lettering. But the others made some valid points. Your coloring on the letters probably could have been different, and the background is really rather dull. The sprites aren't well-defined either. All in all, you do need some work, but like I said, everyone has to start somewhere! ^_~

Honestly, that is one of the most inspiring things I have ever been told. Yes, I will produce banners that are better than my first. Thanks for believing in me.
