Manectric moveset

hey i just recently got an electrike and i was wondering what would be the best move set for my Manectric when the electrike evolves? :confused:

Well... Electrike's moves before it evolves are:
Tackle, thunder wave, leer, howl, quick attack, spark and odor sleuth.

After it evolves into Manectric it learns:
Roar, bite, thunder and charge.

The TMs and HMs it learns are:
Strength, flash, roar, toxic, hidden power, hyper beam, protect, rain dance, frustration, iron tail, thunderbolt, thunder, return, double team, shock wave, facade, secret power, rest, attract and theif.

I had a Manectric a while back, and I gave it:
Thunder (a strong electric attack for tough enemies), thunderbolt (in case thunder misses), strength (a simple normal attack for enemies that are resistant to electric attacks, e.g. grass pokemon) and bite (an attack that was different to the others and also a different type to Manectric).

You can chooses any you like, but you might want to avoid:

odor sleuth (it doesn't really help in battle very much)
leer and howl (same reason)
roar (only useful against wild pokemon)
rain dance (why does Manectric/Electrike even have this move?)

manectric is a poitential thunderdancer so it needs rain dance
when rain dance is in effect thunder cannot miss
so I believe this would be a good set.

Thunderdancing is dumb, takes 2 turns to set up, and Manectric doesn't have the defenses to survive those turns. Using thunderbolt right away does more damage than setting up rain dance and using thunder. As for the set:

Substitute/Thunderbolt/Crunch/Hidden power grass or Thunder wave is the best set imo
