My favorite character is Ike from fire Emblem Because of his Above average attack and his speed is perfect for time combo's witch will allow for a great hit counter Ike's final smash also promotes this theory but the main advantage of this character is the fact of his Attack range is the best so there is no need for defensive and offense strategies

I use Sonic, because while he may not have tremendous attack strength, his speed more than makes up for his shortcomings, allowing multiple attacks to be made, and also to dodge. He also has an excellent recovery move, and his taunts are fun to listen to.

Not only that, but it sure is fun annoying people with Super Sonic!

It's also fun to commit accidental suicides XD

It's a tie between Peach and Kirby. =p Great movesets, both are pretty strong(and kinda fast for that matter), and they have hilarious Final Smashes(next to Luigi's, of course. XD).

I'm going with Kirby and Toon Link. Kirby's Down+B, Side+B and Up+B is decent, and Suiciding with B is always fun too. He can float too.
Toon Link's B-moves aren't that good, but I just love using his Down+A. Also, his Final Smash Pwns. I personally think it's one of the best, including Ike's.

Yoshi, he's very fast, isn't a lightweight (he's middle-weight I think) and has amazing power. His projectile is very powerful, but can be an ass to aim with, B-Down is a great finisher, as well as Egg Roll. Egg lay (B)is also good when an opponent is trying to get back to a stage, go down to where they are, make them into an egg, and flutter back to the stage.

Second is Mario, People say he's too :basic", but if used right, he can kick ass

Sonic and Kirby Tie for third, Sonic for awsomeness and speed. Kirby just because he kicks ass.

Kirby because he is just such a different character. I loved to play him when I was little and now he is my Main and I am good with him and beat my friends who laugh and then get there butts kicked by a pink puff ball.

One of the most notable features of Brawl is supposedly, the ability to play over the Internets. One (supposedly) can play either "With Friends" in which you play with fellow basement dwellers that you obtain a special number from, or "With Anyone" in which you play with others in anonymity. Unfortunately, this is usually impossible because there is so much LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG, which lead to Ike being the best character in the game.

As much as I hate to say it, this is true.

Well, he is my best character.

Mario is the greatest. He's my main and I have NEVER faced an opponent I couldn't beat with him. I came in 2nd in a tournament, only to my cousin, whorocks the house with King Dedede. Mario is basic, but is so damn fun to whoop arse with.

Wario is my second favourite. He is the funnest character to play because he is so random, and spazzing out with his final smash is fun. Going in for a last minute bike ride before he returns to normal is the coolest way to surprise someone.

Then there's Marth. Normally, I'd play Roy, but they took him out, and I'm seriously pissed about it. But Marth is so handsome and has a killer final smash.

and speaking of Final Smashes, Sonic's isn't good, it's cheep. It's incredibly fast (though that's how it should be I guess), he can't get damaged, and he can't even run off the screen to kill himself, not to mention all it takes is three hits from 0% to die. I think Sega is suffering form an inferiority complex...:susp:

I'm really good with Zelda and Pit. Mostly because they have a lot of long-range attacks, and can get from one area to the next really fast. I try to dodge as much as possible, then use long-range attacks, and that's how I win.

My favorite character is Ike from fire Emblem Because of his Above average attack and his speed is perfect for time combo's witch will allow for a great hit counter Ike's final smash also promotes this theory but the main advantage of this character is the fact of his Attack range is the best so there is no need for defensive and offense strategies

Actually, this is my opinion on Brawl:

One of the most notable features of Brawl is supposedly, the ability to play over the Internets. One (supposedly) can play either "With Friends" in which you play with fellow basement dwellers that you obtain a special number from, or "With Anyone" in which you play with others in anonymity. Unfortunately, this is usually impossible because there is so much LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG, which lead to Ike being the best character in the game. Trolling in such settings is extremely limited, though a good way is to taunt repeatedly for the entire match, especially with Pit, Sonic, Marth, or Captain Falcon. Taking this further, if one is actually good enough, beat them a few rounds before hand. This will really piss off the tourneyfags, as they'll begin to think that you're convinced they're beneath your notice, thus dealing a grievous blow to their pride.

This is proof that Ike is the best character in the game because you win if you know how to smash attack.

But really, Lucario seems to have a good balance of attack and defense. With me vs my friends anyway, but they don't have the game or system so yeah. Kirby comes in at a really close second and Ike is third.(Go Kirbycides!)

Metaknight can deal some good damage and he's fast. I'm getting better at his Final Smash, and when that is used when you're opponents are low on health, BOOM, KO. He is also pretty quick so I get the smash ball about half the time, rather then about a fifth when playing with some other characters.

Marth = sword = epic win. Sorry, it's true. Love him.

Lucario. Final Smash is awesome!! Detonate anything in your path with aura? Super awesome.

ness i've been experimenting with getting down combos.. samus is more or less my character i use for faking people out. mario (in fire suit) is more or less my "goof around but still F**k S**t up character. Fox was my dominant character in melee and i still use him a lot. meta knight is used to completely destroy anyone. i play in statewide tournaments so i get a lot of playing time. shoot me a pm sometime if you wanna brawl

Link - I'm not so good with him in Brawl, but he is my best character in Melee so I still like using him. They changed him a lot for Brawl... he just feels different, Idk. I still like him, though.

Ike - What. A. Beast. I love this guy, he is sooooo strong and just knocks everyone around and tears them apart. His slowness doesn't bother me as much as all the other slow characters, he just seems really responsive. He's my fave. Next to...

Marth - My other fave, Marth is so improved over Melee. I couldn't even use him in Melee, but here, he's my best buddy. He's fast, quick, and awesome at combos, his special moves are more responsive, and he's good in the air and on the ground. He's got nice speed, and is like the polar opposite of Ike, which is fun.

Pit - This guy's lots of fun. He can fly, his bow is fun to use, his shield is nice, and I like his little spinny special move. I wouldn't say I'm amazing with him, but I'm not too shabby and he's really well-balanced with speed and strength. A fun character to use.

Sonic - So. Fast. It's ridiculous. Running all along the larger battlefields is a blast, and I love using him in the air. His special moves are kinda disappointing, except for his aerial homing attack (when used in the air) and the spring, but just fighting in the air with his regular and smash moves is surprisingly effective. Really, more people should use him as an aerial combatant, he won't disappoint.

I'll also say that I like using the Pokemon Trainer, but only for fun, because I suck as him. I just like switching Pokemon, lol. He's fun to use, but hard, and I just can't do well with him.
