Orbs Of Fire (this may take a few posts)

In the next few posts im going to post the first two (maybe three) chapters of my soon to be book

Chapter one
The beginning

As daylight broke and ridded the darkness of the night.
Sabrina Everton was having a tough night as she tossed and turned during the night she immediately woke up with a bad thought in her head.
Sabrina rubbed her tired eyes and pulled herself out of bed and took herself down the stairs to find Jodie waiting in the living room.
Sabrina entered slowly as she saw Jodie had a worried look upon her face.
Jodie explained how Robert wanted Phillip and them to go down to the library.
So Sabrina and Jodie grabbed there jackets and got on the mountain bikes and rode to the library as fast as they could.
Jodie and Sabrina arrived at the library and locked up there bikes at the side of the library as they walked round they saw Robert and Phillip waiting at the top of the stairs.
Sabrina looked down to find something in Roberts’s hands it was an old book or a document of some kind everyone went in to see what Robert was going on about.
He went to the back of the room where he opened the old tattered document.
Robert explained ‘‘if we find five orbs we will have a power bigger than your mortal imagination could ever dream off ‘‘.
Everyone thought if we get the orbs we could combine the force of the orbs and use it for the greater good.
So everyone went home and slept on it but some how Jodie had rough night thinking on what Robert said.
Meanwhile Phillip had a smooth night but he did have a rough dream where the orbs got into the wrong hands.
Robert however stayed up for a very long time trying to find anything about the orbs but the where only a few websites on it.
As daylight broke the darkness of the night once more Sabrina, Philip, Robert and Jodie woke up with the same idea and choice.
So everybody got there bike and went to the library once more.
Everyone agreed to go after the orbs so the research began. The first found out by reading the old tattered document
There where five orbs all containing five special powers that fire could do also if all five orbs are combined the becomes one big almighty force but if taken into the wrong hands it will cause the human race to end.
As they searched for books connected to the orbs accidentally Philip knocked a floorboard out of place in the history section where he discovered it was a secret compartment.
Phillip looked around but no one was there so he opened the floorboard further to find a chest it had ancient and ancient pictures all over the box.
Philip looked inside the chest to find five scrolls Sabrina picked up the box to take it to the table to get a better look at everything.
Robert took home the scrolls and left the box for Sabrina to study.
Sabrina studied the box carefully but the more she studied the more she knew where the orbs are and what some of the orbs are used for.
One orb belonged to a leviathan; a leviathan is a legendary sea monster it is using orbs as a power source or some kind like a beam she thought staring at the pictures.
In another pictures Jodie saw how to combine the orbs into a greater power.
Meanwhile Sabrina heard a ringing noise in her head it was the phone so she walked over and got it.
It was Jodie telling everyone to meet at her house immediately to Jodie’s house in record time.
Robert told everyone what he found out from the scrolls Robert drastically said ‘‘this is not going to be a walk in the park we are going to need maps of the surrounding areas” as he explained about what to do next.
Jodie however new in her mind she would have to her family for a very long time.
She said slowly ‘‘I can’t do this I can’t leave my family” but as Philip explained we are leaving our family to go on the trip.
Sabrina also explained “everyone on the trip will be your family”
Jodie accepted the fact if she was going to go on the trip she would have to give up her family for a while.

heres chapter two:

Chapter two
The journey begins

Jodie knew she had to tell her parents what was up, so at that night she did just that.
“Mum, Dad I have something to tell you, I have to leave with my friends” and Jodie explained why. Her parents believed her but at some points she thought they didn’t believe her at all but still she had to go.

Meanwhile Philip and Sabrina were having problems of their own telling their parents what and why they were doing something so important. Robert had no problem as his parents had died 2 years earlier, and he lived alone in a house which needed no taxes or rent.

After long persuasion and time Jodie rang the other three saying that they were able to leave and would have to leave tomorrow. Everyone that night tried to sleep but they couldn’t and stayed up all night researching on the orbs until eventually they called it a night and slept.

The next day was a cold and harsh morning of which it was raining but the four teenagers were sworn to go on their journey on that day so they met at the town square, said goodbye to their loved ones and set off over the long desert that surrounded their city towards the remains of the big blue sea in search of their first orb and maybe another town or city to find out more of the lost orbs, the inscriptions on the box and translating the four remaining scrolls to find the orbs and bring good to the world again.

Though now as they were about to set off Philip made an announcement.
“I’m hungry” he called and the four remembered that they had forgot to pack food and it was a good that they did at that time because 5 minutes later they would have been in the harsh conditions of the water desert.
It was soon after that they found a pool of a weird murky substance which they found was edible after Philip drank some. Robert was suspicious about the water and he didn’t drink but walked on a bit up a hill to see if he could see the ocean yet.
“See anything?” Jodie called to him
“No just desert and occasionally some pools of this water” Robert shouted back. Then it struck him of what the water was.
“Don’t drink that water” he shouted, as Philip was about to do so again, and Robert explained how this oasis wasn’t water and actually a poison of which stuns the victim after drunk and sure enough Philip, as the first to drink the poison, fell to the ground out cold and Robert ended up the only one standing for several hours.

Later that day when everyone had awoken from the poison them gang found a village where, after explaining their journey to the chief of the village, they found hospitality and rest.
“I love this robe” said Sabrina as she inspected the wardrobe of the room they had.
The robe was dark blue dyed fur with a fasten of what looked like ivory.
“Why do you like it Sabby?” asked Jodie
“’cause it’s blue” answered Sabrina, it is known that her favorite colour is blue, and she put the cape on straight away.
The gang walked around the village discovering animals they had never seen before like what looked like a mouse with furry wings and a cat with three eyes but blunt teeth.
They learned a new culture and ate new food and it was all done in just one small village in a short space of time.
Later that day they were invited to a dinner with the chief of the village and as they ate Jodie asked the chief if he knew anything about the orbs.
“Surprisingly I do know a little about these orbs as one of them were once in this village” the chief answered.
“There is? Can you show us and let us take it for our journey?” asked Sabrina excitedly.
“You must have misheard me little one” the chief laughed “I said there was once but there isn’t now, it was taken by bandits years ago and probably still with their leader but we will help you get it back if you wish”.
“Yes please sir” said Robert “we would be gracious for your help”.
“I will summon a meeting at noon tomorrow to decide how we will get the orb back” the chief said to the gang (or at least to three of them as Philip was stuffing his face with food).
“We thank you sir” said Robert as he stood up “If we have to be up for noon we better get to bed as it’ll take ages to wake Philip and Sabrina in the morning”
The chief and Jodie laughed at this but Sabrina had the expression on that said “Who me?” and Philip was busy eating.

As the gang got ready for bed it is important we know what Sabrina did more than the rest.
Sabrina was hastily trying to get ready for bed when she cut herself with the ivory like fasten on the robe. You may wonder why this is important but it will be revealed. The gang had a little supper from the big dinner they had just eaten and soon went to their rooms for the night. Sabrina lied in her bed wide awake. The cut had stopped bleeding now and she was ok so what was keeping her awake. Then the moon came out, a full moon, and she began to itch.
