Egg trading between Emerald and FR/LG. Urgent!

Okay this is quite a toughie, and even i find it hard to get my head around :oops:, so please people who dont know what they are talking about, please don't post (it just confuses the situation) :happy:

Okay so, on my Emerald version, I have 5 eggs.
Mareep,
Horsea,
Charmander,
Dratini and
Sudowoodo. (My proposed team).

I would like to restart my Leaf green game, and trade the eggs over to it. But because I have restarted the game, don't have the National Dex, or the Ruby and Sapphire plates, does this mean the Eggs can't be traded, or might possibly not hatch? I don't see why they couldn't though, because the Johto pokemon are available in the game for capture, but only after defeation (if thats a word) of the E4. None of the eggs are Hoenn pokemon.

Would another option be to, trade the eggs over to my Leaf Green, then restart my Emerald, then trade the eggs back to Emerald? But then Emerald would'nt have a National Dex for the Kanto pokemon?

Does anyone have an answer ?

You would be able to hatch the eggs that contained Pokemon from the Kanto Pokedex, but you would have to wait until you had gained the National Pokedex to get your Sudowoodo and Mareep. Same goes for Emerald, except the team you stated there couldn't be traded over to Emerald. I know this because I tried to trade a Lv. 5 Elekid and Scyther when I began Emerald, but it didn't work. You can't trade eggs. You can only trade them once they hatch, and you won't be able to trade Mareep & Sudowoodo until you get the national dex.

Need the national dex, even I tried the same thing. :sad: BUt I think once you get the National Dex, you can trade eggs for I traded 15 eggs and they went through perfectly in Meditie, Dratini, Treecko, and others. Eggs can be traded once you get the National Dex.

One other trick you can try, but only with the Emerald or Leaf Green/Red Pokemon depending on your game is trade your Pokemon from one game to the other and breed them so you can have the Pokemon with the same ID number so that way, you don't worry of your Pokemon disobeying no matter what badge you have. Again of course, may need the National Dex for some trades.
