Before you Post! (http://pokemonelite2000.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2500271&postcount=10)
PLEASE READ ALL OF MY POST. NO MATTER HOW LONG!
The sun set gently to the west, painting the sky over the small Texas city a rosy red. The cool crisp air wafting from the Gulf Of Mexico. It has been a clear day, clouds rare in the blue sky, but now as the sunset, putting a end to a rather hectic day, a horn sounded over the port. In the center of The Port Of Galveston a cruise chip, miniature and fragile looking, compared to the mammoth cruise ship’s that stood next to it. The mother of all ship’s Royal Caribbean’s: Oasis sat next to the S.S Poke-Fan. The largest cruise ship in the world blew its horn a second time, the S.S Poke-Fan replied with two breif honks, which sounded squeaky in comparison. It was the Oasis’s maiden voyage, as was it the S.S Poke-Fan’s they were going to be traveling the first day together.
As the Oasis pulled out of port, the S.S Poke-Fan started up its engines. The people aboard the ship rushed up to the upper deck to lean over the rail and wave to the massive crowd of people standing on the dock. The crowd, however, was not for the Oasis no matter how big and splendorous it was. No, the giant crowd was here for the Poke-Fan, small as it was, it’s maiden voyage wasn’t simply going to St.Thomas or Key West or Bermuda. This cruise ship was heading far beyond the reaches of this earth, far beyond everything the world had ever known. Into the Bermuda Triangle , to a precise geographical point.
Teenagers, and their family stood, haning over the rails as they waved. Camera bulbs flashing left and right, a helicopter overhead and a escort from the Coastguard.
The small ship backed out of the port and turned toward the open sea. As it began to leave port, the speakers of the ship clicked on, loud enough for the people on shore to hear.
[color=red] “Greetings! And Welcome to the S.S Poke-fan! I am your captain, Briney, now are you ready to set sail!” He said.
The people of the ship cheered as the volume on the speakers was cranked to a blaring tone and suddenly a song began to play. A upbeat version of the first Pokemon Theme song, blasted from the speakers. Sending many a chest shaking with the volume. The ship sailed off into the sun set, a picture perfect shot for the newspaper.
And as the sun set, and the ship set sail, a few of America’s youth set out on their very own Pokemon Adventure The headlines would later read.
The kid’s, who had worked so hard to be here, were relaxing about the ship. Having fun in pools, in arcades, dining on delicious food or staring off at the horizon to try and be the first to catch a glimpse of the region called Hoenn. Their family’s by their side. The people who set up the contest, wanted to also provide a relaxing, 3 day cruise, where the departing children could spend a few more days in their family’s presence before leaving for good. Very nice of the works at the Pokemon Company, right? Very truthful. No. No one on the boat knew that to get to Hoenn, you had to fall off the end of the earth. Only the captain and crew knew.
On the third day, everyone gathered at the tip of the boat, trying to see the outline of the region Hoenn, excitement on the kid’s faces. And worry, hidden deep in the faces of the adults. Worry that their kids had grown up, that they didn’t need them. But also happiness, happiness that their child would live out their dream.
[color=red][b] “Good morning, good morning good morning! This is your cruise director Abe speaking. We would like to let you all know, that the upper decks will be closed down shortly. We advise you to make your way to your staterooms or to a enclosed area. We must insist that you follow the instructions of the employees here on board. You have approximately 10 minutes until you will here a large siren. That is your cue, that you should be in a “Safe zone” If you are not, I suggest…your run for your life” the announcement was followed by a small chuckle. Their life wasn’t in danger if they stayed on the open decks, but it was ideal to watch yourself plummet off the face of the earth.
Most of the adults listened. But all of the teenagers stayed up on the front of the boat, they wanted to see Hoenn first, and they would all run in when the sirens went off anyway right?
Wrong.
Suddenly, it wasn’t quite anymore, it wasn’t clear, but misty and a loud roaring was coming from up ahead. A large siren sounded, and some of the kids turned to go inside, but decided against it. Then the boat started to rock violently, and a clear roof came over the front of the boat and stopped the rain from falling on their heads. It was like they were in a bubble. It was too late to turn back.
Ding dong
This is your Cruise Director, Abe, speaking. As I can see, all you crazy kids want a front row seat? Well alright, just try not to scream too loudly” some of the kids looked worried. They looked around to find a way back inside. Then the boat rocked to one side so violently that everyone fell to the left, then to the right. They went back and forth, almost crushing one another. Then the rocking stopped.
“Is it over?” one kid asked. Abe had the whole front of the ship rigged with microphones so he could hear them.
The ship suddenly started chugging ahead at a alarming rate, the mist ahead of them was giant and the roaring was defining.
“Here we go!!!” Abe shouted over the intercom. And the ship fell over the edge.
The G-force was incredible. All of the kids lurched forward, some of them tumbling down and hitting the clear cover, staring straight down as they fell into the abyss. Other were standing on the clear wall, trying to keep their balance. And other were holding onto the table, bolted to the floor.
Then the ship flipped over, falling through the air, everyone crashed into another wall screaming as the ship tumbled on end after another and they were knocked around the front of the boat, as their world became a blur was blue and bruised bodies. After this repeated for 30 minutes, they stopped tumbling and just fell straight down, out of the mist. Everyone stood up wobbly as the ship fell at a even rate. They looked down, and saw a giant mass of land.
“Hello everyone, its Abe, did you enjoy the ride? Well now as we fall at a steady rate of 100 MPH, our ride from here forward will be bump free. Now if you look down you will see the Region of Hoenn shooting towards us at a alarming rate. No, don’t worry, we wont land in Hoenn, we will land in water that is all.”
“…Oh, and I suggest you all brace yourselves for landing” he said chuckling it was too late. The water rushed up to meet them and all the kids screamed simultaneously, clinging to each other, though they barley knew one another.
They hit the water with a large splash, all the kids opened their eyes, they were under water. The boat sunk deeper into the sea as it righted itself and all the kids were flung back to the original flooring. Then the boat shot up out of the water. Shedding sheets of water off the clear roof. The roof retracted and the sun shone through. The doors to the other levels opened and the lights of the ship flickered back on. It was late afternoon now.
“Alriiiiight, now that we are cruising at a steady rate of 30 MPH we will arrive right outside of the city of little root in approximately…16 hours. Please enjoy your last day on the SS Poke-fan! Your wake-up call is 5am and breakfast will start to be cooked at 5:30 You will leave the ship at 6:00 clock and the kids will leave for Little Root at 6:15!” Abe stated.
All the kids dispersed rather embarrassed, all of them had screamed like little girls sometime in the hour long drop. They made their way back to their staterooms to the angry. And worried faces of their parents.
The Ship docked in its secret port, a 20 minutes walk to Little Root.

“And I want you to always brush your teeth, and please don’t hurt yourself, I know how you are with dares. And try not to get arrested and please don’t harass anyone, no matter how funny it is. Daisy, please don’t hug random people, don’t pet any of those creatures and please please please don’t go overboard on the sugar!”
Daisy stared off blankly out the window of McDonalds out onto the landscape of Hoenn
“DAISY! Sweetie!” her mother said, bopping her on the head. Daisy’s eyes widened as she turned back to her mother.
“Yea yea, eat sugar, pet random animals, hug strangers. Got it” She said with a grin.
Her mother rolled her eyes.
“Where did you get all this energy from. And why are we eating at McDonalds when there is gourmet food 5 steps away” her mother said, sticking a French fry into her mouth.
“I think it is from dad. And, mother dearest, we are eating at the wonderful MickyD’s because they don’t have this deliciously greasy food in Hoenn and because,..” she grabbed her burger and stood up next to her mom. She took a bite
“badabababaa! I’m loving it!” she sang as she danced about, then sat back down giggling.
“Have you no embarrassment?” her mother said chuckling
Daisy tried to appear as if shocked, eyes wide mouth agape. “Is that a new type of candy?” she replied grinning and shoving the hamburger into her mouth.
Her mother shook her head and continued eating. Though Daisy did get annoying, her mother was going to miss the incessant giggling, constant singing and dancing. And the random, and completely un realistic, babbling. Daisy brought like to her household. Not she was alone.
Daisy stared out the window again, picking fry’s up and putting into her mouth. She envisioned what it would be like several times. She always saw herself standing at the front of the boat, alone as the run rose and Hoenn came into view, the wind blowing through her hair. Sort of a Titanic moment.
She did not vision falling off the end of the earth. She looked down at her thigh, it was a rather large bruise on it from when she was hurtled towards the front of the boat and clipped a table. That was the most horrible, yet fun, experience of her life. She screamed her head off, clung to tables and to random people she found next to her. She was slightly over reactive to surprises and scary things. Her smiled as she though about it. Missing her mouth with a fry and it fell down her bright, crayon blue, tank top.
“Frick! Dropped a Frenchy fry” she said plucking the greasy little thing out of her shirt. She looked at it with a weird look in her eyes.
“Oh Daisy don’t-” Diasy put it into her mouth and chewed it up.
“..Your so weird” Her mother groaned. As Daisy giggled
“Bra flavored French Fry, always good” she grinned.
Her mother stood up, checking her watch.
“Better get you off the boat. I am assuming you want to be the first on there?” Her mother asked, raising her eyebrow. Daisy nodded vigorously. As she grabbed her backpack she stood up and iron the wrinkles out of her bright orange pants with her hands.
Her mother looked down at her pants.
“What color is that? Neon orange?” she asked as they walked down the 5th level.
Daisy looked down at her pants, running into a pole. She stepped back stunned and slapped the pole.
“Stupid pole, bumping into me. I don’t know mom, they are like Hot pink…but orange…Hot orange!” she said rubbing her forehead.
Her mother rolled her eyes as she reached to hit the elevator button. Daisy tackled her to the ground screaming.
“Daisy! What is it?”
“I wanted to press the button!” she said, clicking the button she getting into the elevator. Her mother followed shaking her head.
Elevator music played softly, as Daisy’s mother looked out the clear glass of the Elevator.
“You know Daisy, I think these elevators are so pretty. Completely see through, you can see people and they can see you. Isn’t it Daisy?” Her mother turned around to look at her. Daisy shrugged and started to dance to the elevator music.
“Daisy stop, people are staring” She said, Daisy danced a cricle around her mother.
“Hachachacha, lalallala, hachachacha Im going to be a Pokemon master lalalalala hey hey hey hey hey hey!” she said, dancing about, and singing to the elevator music. Some of the employees stared at her through the glass amused. She waved rather crazily at them. They had all gotten used to the crazy little girl. Daisy had made it her plan to make friends with all the workers. So that when she annoyed them they wouldn’t kill her.
Her mother laughed as they stepped out of the elevator and went towards the open door, light spilling through. Daisy and her mother excited stepping down the ramp.
“WAIT!” she siad, flinging her arm out to stop her mother.
“What is it??”
“I am about to set foot in the Pokemon world! Don’t you think I deserve music? Or like, I don’t know applaud!?” she said. Her mother sighed.
“We will jump off together alright, just step down a few more steps and…oh Daisy..”
Daisy had jumped from the step they were on as soon as her mother had said jump. She landed on her feet but fell forward and flipped over. Lying on her back.
“Do you even listen to me anymore” Her mother said, stepping down and clapping her hands.
Daisy gasped. “You applauding my pain!?” Daisy said.
“How dare you!” she said turning her back to her mom.
Her mother rested her ahdn on her shoulder.
“Im going to miss your silly words and your random dancing.” she said.
Daisy smiled.
“Mom, don’t turn this into a sob fest.” she said. “Im going to miss you too”
Her mother’s eyes started to tear up. Daisy grabbed her into a bear hug and rubbed her shoulder.
“Face it, your lil’ Daisy is all matured and grown up-like now. She can survive on her own” she said. Her mother held her at arms length.
“You? You will never be mature. Even when you’re a 80 year old, sitting in a nursing home, harassing the little kids in the neighbor hood and challenging them to dance off” The teary eyed mother said.
“and you know I would whop all their futuristic little butts.” she replied. Her mother and her hugged and said their goodbyes. Daisy didn’t cry but she was sad.
She walked over to Abe, grinning wildly.
“You ready for this Abe!” she said, started to punch the air, hopping from foot to foot. Punching his stomach playfully.
“We still have to wait for the other kids Daisy.” he replied, grabbing her fist in mid air and tripping her, she fell to the ground.
“FOUL! Oh totally foul Abe. Unfair, harassment, child abuse. Unfair!” she said from the ground.
Still on the ground she looked over into the forest, her eyes locked with a Zigzagoon before it scurried away. She had seen her first Pokemon.
This is going to be fun
