From the farthest reaches of space...

To the space between atoms...

I was there.

It's been too long...

Far too long...

Power. Pressure. Exerted onto a green and blue orb, hurtling through the depths of space around a yellow sphere of glowing plasma.

But for the first time...

Resistance.

No.

What is this?

The Center holds. Not you.

Impossible...

This is my world.

The pressure increases, but the resistance holds firm.

You do not have the WILL.
---------

A semicircle of men, standing before an altar within a large room, hooded and cloaked by cloth dark red, the color of old blood. Their soft chants echo against the cold gray stone slabs that make up the floors and walls, then are finally absorbed into a vaulted wooden ceiling. There are no windows. The only light comes from a trinity of candles, illuminating little but the altar around which they are placed.

The altar is of gray marble, steps leading up to a white marble slab. Red curtains surround it on three sides. From the fourth, facing forward, can be seen a Glaceon, chained to the altar by sleek silver metal, lying against the cold marble with eyes closed, trembling in fear what is to come. A beautiful creature, and so sad, broken, with no more strength to resist further.

A man steps forward, and lowers his hood, revealing a mess of black hair and cold, unyielding gray eyes. He is young man, but his eyes show absolution and knowledge beyond all years.

Uncrossing his arms, a silver knife flashes into existence in his right hand, and he raises both arms high to the vaulted ceiling. "A sacrifice to our Lord," he states in a whisper of voice, a voice untainted by prior thought, the words spoken by an else greater than his own. The hymns of the others grow in volume, filling the air as though they were something tangible.

"Your blood will nourish and grow the Center," he continued, taking steps up the altar, each step sounding above the chants of the others. "That which stands unyielding and resolute before all else. Before this era is out, the Center shall Judge all. Those who prove faithful may be spared."

The left hand grabs the right, and the blade hangs over the Glaceon.

"Oh Lord, hear now our cry. Spare us from your terrible Judgment."

The blade falls and penetrates through skin and flesh. A shriek sounds within the chamber, rising up to escape to the stars, but is kept in, confined, echoing within the space. Soon it fades away, to be replaced by the trickle of blood.

IC:

The soft twittering of birds outside a pure white windowsill, serene and calm was the palace. A large white castle, with glowing and angelic towers, drafted beautifully, gentle swoops, carefully adorned balconies and murals depicting wondrous and rare Pokemon. Small creatures ran about the courtyard, scampering along the walls chattering with glee. A garden, framed by pale pink walls, sat in the middle, hundreds of blooming flowers crowed along the rims of the wall, their petals splaying out in gorgeous colors, sending a sweet aroma through the air.

In the center, amongst the flowers, a girl with skin as pale as the walls of the castle sat. A small, green, Leafeon stood next to her, nuzzling a large sunflower. A few feet away a black Charmelon sat in the shade of a tree, its tail swishing back in forth in a bored manner, in a nearby fountain a Dragonair splashed about, it didn’t have to be in the water but the wonderful creature was playful in nature and couldn’t help itself around water. The girl, about 16, ran a slender hand through her rosey locks.

She leaned against her hands and looked up at the sun, adorned in a simple, somewhat large, pink long sleeved shirt and a green skirt. She looked like any other average girl, albeit the strange black gem that clung to her forehead.

As far as Serena was concerned it was a dull day. Nothing was going on and she wasn’t aloud into the nearby forest to train. A sigh escaped her lips as she turned to Ivy, her Leafeon.

“What shall we do today?” she questioned, resting her hand gently on Ivy’s head. Soot, the Charmelon wandered over. It was obvious he wanted to train. But Serena’s mother forbid it at the moment. Last time the young princess had come back covered in dirt and scratched after having a run in with some Ursaring. So for now, It was as if she was grounded from training. Even in the safe haven of the courtyard.

Iris sat up, her smooth blue body slid down from the fountain and slithered over to her master with a concerned look on her face. Dragonair had a way of knowing when things were wrong. Serena dismissed the glance of concern from her loving Pokemon. She perceived it as shame for getting them into the mess with the Ursaring.

With another sigh Serana fell back onto the lush grass, arms above her head as she watched the clouds float by lazily.

A scuffle alerted the large figure that there was something other than her within the confines of the small tunnel. The wolf turned instinctively towards the sound and, spotting a brown-grey rat, pounced on it head first. I’ll never get used to eating like this, Akura thought with shame. Though her mind protested, she instantly swallowed the rat whole and went about her business again.

The rhythmic footsteps of the Reuflanok’s followers could be heard through an adjoining tunnel. Akura pressed her furry ear to a large grating in order to access what they were saying. Chants of death could be heard; little else was uttered these days lest a severe punishment occur. Akura knew all too well the punishments the Core gave, as she scratched a scar on her back absentmindedly.

Shaking her golden fur, Akura drew back from the wall and raced off across to the far north. Little time was left before the Sacrificial Ceremony began, and she didn’t want to miss this. It was time to intervene, no matter the punishment.

As a new day passed, more and more cities were being overrun by monsters. Though it was true she was one herself, Akura felt more akin to the inhabitants of this world than with her own kind. She was an outcast there, and here, it finally started to feel something like home.

Dashing through the main tunnel into a wide, open space, Akura sank deep into the shadows. A golden room stood before her, much like the colour of her fur. She could easily blend in here. Padding almost silently towards the east corner, Akura lowered her head to the ground and sniffed. The odour was strong here; she was getting closer. If the Core decided to accept the offering, it would only grow stronger, further endangering the Pokemon species.

The Werewolf raised her head just enough to see across the room. A small indent rested in the wall not too far away. It would be just big enough for her to sneak through. Abandoning her wolf form, Akura slid gracefully through the small opening. She knew this led to the Sacrificial Chamber, for her wolf senses had smelt blood.

She was correct in her findings; a small grate sealed off the exit, but that was fine. If need be, she could easily break through by force. Pressing herself almost restlessly against the bars, Akura waited for them to begin. She knew when her time would come.

No more than a few minutes had passed when she saw the Reauflanok’s followers enter the Chamber. Their sanguine robes billowed out behind them, lit only by a small cluster of candles by the altar. Akura shuddered. She hated to see those marble objects; even loathed them.

She noted that the sacrifice was already chained to the altar, and, as a man stepped forward, she let off a low warning growl, albeit being in her human form. She knew that these men wasted no time in getting the job done. They huddled around the Glaceon like obedient puppies begging for a treat. Heh, they’ll all die eventually when the Reuflanok gets bored of them. This thought kept Akura from breaking the bars down and eating them all herself. She kept her senses shut off until the sacrifice was made. She hated to see the poor creature die, but it was a necessary precaution. If the sacrifice was unmade, it would make her attack that much harder.

Her body acted of its own accord this time, transforming almost instantly. The pitiful wails of the Glaceon still echoed within her mind. They gave her the courage to spring forth and break through the grating. Almost at once, a dozen or so men turned and prepared to lunge at her. Akura let off a deafening growl that sent shivers through their spines. She revelled in their momentary fear.

And so the fight begins…

Blane stood by the ocean, letting the splash of water brush against his face, almost like a refreshing rain. Two dog like Pokemon appeared behind him. It was his Vaporeon and Glaceon.

"Ok guys are you ready for some training then?" Blane asked his two Pokemon who looked up at him with loving eyes and soon after nodded.

Blane stepped into the cool water and Vaporeon followed but entered deeper into the blue sea. Glaceon stayed on shore and waited for commands but always kept an eye on Vaporeon who was now her opponent.

"Ok Vaporeon I want you to use surf and Glaceon defend as best you can." Blane commanded and waited. Blane didn't like telling his Pokemon what to do all the time just in case something happened to him so he liked them being able to fend for themselves.

A mighty wave formed in front of Vaporeon and charged towards Glaceon who was on land. A blue formed in front of Glaceon's mouth and an ice beam emerged soon after, freezing the wave on spot. Blane looked at his 2 Pokemon and smiled.

Ok, I'm soo glad to be the first person to post for the Underworld.

Venom walked along the simple paths of the Underworld. The Underworld is like nothing the human can describe. The faint smell of death, and the sound of fear engulf those who dare walk inbetween the realms. Swamps, vines, slugs and devilish creatures like none the living or dead know about. Venom, the Dragon, Sabertooth and Snake was a simple creature that can be simply described as one word that strikes darkness upon the wanted, Venom is the true meaning of "Evil". Unlike other creatures, Venom spends all of his time killing. Drinking the blood of others, whose soul have been reaped by the evils. As Venom growled, he saw 10 huge Goblin like demons apporoaching him. What insolent fools! Venom, without breathing, or thinking... completely devoured them. His three heads tore apart the limbs and arteries of the demons. The air became red with the color of blood. As the law of the Underworld states "No blood shall ever touch the floor. Blood shall mix with the reaped souls of the dead, to produce the smell of "Death"" The nearby smelled the scent of death and intelligently backed off as Venom walked toward the forest. As he walked, trails of ice followed. But the trails of fire mixed with the ice and created steam. One can tell if Venom is coming, by the trail of steam he leaves behind. As he enters the forest, 3 guards block the entrance. Once again, without thinking or blinking, Venom had dinner. His three heads compromised and decided, that dragon will get the blood, Sabertooth will get the limbs, and Snake will get the head. The blood of the guards mixed with the steam to produce a red smoke that enveloped the entrance to the forest.

I walked out of the cavern I had inhabited almost my entire life as a human. I needed the control to realize where I was going, plus I had no need to hunt. I had just eaten my full on an arch-centaur I found wandering the Underworld. I looked around at the beautiful scenery around me. I saw lush forests teeming with delicate life, water so pure you could almost see through it, and the sky ... it was an eternal horizon filled with all kinds of life, and non-life, the balance between the coldness of space and the warmth of the Earth around us.

Too bad we'll have to destroy it... I continued to walk around noticing a nearby town. There was sure to be these 'Pokemon trainers' nearby. I wanted to get to now the secrets of these pokemon a little better before the Underworld decided their fates. We could easily eliminate the hunmans, but the Pokemon were so much closer to the races of the Underworld than we thought. Maybe we should give them a second place in our rule. Don't be a fool, we need to eat, and they are food.Shut up beast, I'm in control here. My thoughts emanated with a horrifying voice of a monster, my second personality. You may be in control ... for now

Time to start my mission.

Yukari sighed. She had received a code message from one of her fellow field agents, and she had spent a few hours trying to crack it, but to no avail. Although she considered requesting Headquarters to use their Crypto squad, she had a feeling that the Crypto squad already had their hands full, trying to decode a message the government had sent.

She had asked her teammate: Field agent Steak for backup on one of her missions, and asked him to meet her in the cafe. He replied: wtf bs gtfo. At first glance, it seemed as if it was a nonsense messaage by her fellow agent- he tended to be weird like that, but there could have been a hidden meaning, and she didn't want to risk missing it. But it was fortunate that she would be able to meet field agent Steak in this cafe. She would be able to find out whether or not he wanted to come.

As a group of people in one corner of the bar roared with hilarity for the nineteenth time that evening, sne couldn't help flinching slightly. The cafe was an old, run down, non-descript looking cafe. It was a perfect place for a meeting, but...why did he choose this? Yukari wondered. But then again, he did seem to surprise her with some of the decisions he made. Although all around he was a random, hilarious guy- with the ability of making a gloomy organization very cheerful and keep everyone in high spirits; he could be serious if or when he wanted to.

She glanced out of the window as a patrol car whizzed past, chasing another car. It was already half an hour past the time Agent Steak was supposed to show-

"OHAITHAR!" a voice said behind Yukari, startling her. Yukari spun around to find herself staring at Steak. "Agent Steak-"

"Sorry, I know these guys well, we were just sharing a light moment together," apologized Steak.

Yukari glanced around to look at the group. "You know these guys?"

"Yep, I do," replied Steak, sitting opposite Yukari. "You got my message?"

"Yeah," replied Yukari. "What did your message mean?"

"The same as what I said- there's no hidden meaning or anything! Haha, you really fell for it! Hahaha..."

It was a full two minutes before the conversation finallly continued, with Steak still in slight fits. "So, what's the mission about, hmm?"

"Section Officer Ridley says...we have to crack Rustboro Corp." Steak flinched as Yukari emphasized the word crack, and looked away for a moment. "Is he Crazy?" Asked Steak, looking slightly serious.

"Nope, Agent Crazy's in the communication division," cracked Yukari, trying to cheer Steak up. "Look Steak...we always wanted an adventure, right? Lets quickly assemble a team, and we can have a crack. It's better than sitting on our asses and waiting for an adventure. What would be more fun than this mission? Tell you what, since I'm in charge of the mission, I'll let you pick the name."

Steak groaned. "I have to work under a girl?! Jesus, help me..."

"Steak..."

"Alright, alright...I'll pick the name ASOD."

Yukari groaned. "Steak, when, when will you ever grow up?" But inwardly, she smiled. She wanted to use that name badly anyway.

She opened her laptop, and navigated to her Files and Resources Folder, where she renamed "Current Mission" as "ASOD".

As she opened it, she glanced at the recommended names assigned for the mission, and sighed. She didn't like most of them, so she should either recruit some others...or deal with it. After all...she needed professionals to do this mission...

Mission Name: ASOD

Chief AFM(Agent for Mission): Yukari Tanizaki

Aim: Hijack a governmtn guarded Rustboro Corps convoy and seize 250 Million Dollars.

Yukari glanced out of the window and stared at the night sky, the laughter of the happy people in the bar still echoing in her ears; the sound of the birds cheeping one last time before they went to bed for the night, the evening light traffic, and the sirens of two police cars shrieking from a few blocks away..this was going to be one of her last peaceful nights for a while.

"NO U AAAAAAAAA!"

...And it looked like Steak was going to kill that too.

Aura tipped his sliding goggles back on his nose. It was a nuisance; they kept on slipping back down, (probably because he'd stolen them from a human who hadn't exactly made them for a multi-species use) but it wouldn't be long before he reached Johto now. He and Chimney had been travelling for at least eighteen hours, it was only about one hundred and forty miles away now.

"Hey, Aura," said Chimney. He was a large, black sooty Fearow who was one of Aura's closest friends. His sootiness had given him his nickname, even though he actually had no idea how it had got there. Probably a genetic thing. Maybe his grandma was a chimney.
He was flying Aura to Johto, as Chimney owed him a few favours that he wished to repay before Aura started asking him to do completely insane, meaningless, destructive and impossible actions such as invading the Underworld and blowing it up with no more than a toothpick, a squeaky hammer and a little stick of fizzling dynamite. Aura's twisted idea of a joke.

"Yeah, Chimney?" said Aura. He was a Lucario, looking just like any other one if it wasn't for the large scar on his back and his two different coloured eyes- one green, one red. He was cynical, pessimistic, and had a traumatic past. Raised up by a human, then abandoned as the human was killed in a war, Aura had gone into hiding for several years-then came back, wihth a fresh new lust for the blood of humans. He hated them because he'd loved one. It contradicted itself, he knew, but he couldn't help it.

"Why are you wearing those stupid goggles anyway? They're just... useless," said Chimney.

"Because if I didn't, my eyes would be ripped off by the speed of this ride and flutter down onto the earth," said Aura.

"Really?" asked Chimney, with interest.

"Nope. I'm just wearinng them because they look cool and keep the sun out of my eyes," replied Aura

Akula sat on the bus, trying to fall asleep but failing due to the large amount of jostling and various accelerations placed on her body by the bus traveling over the poorly maintained road and just the general movements of driving in a relatively remote area. Her head was leaned against the window of the air-conditioned travel bus, and she was constantly banging her head against the window due to the shuddering.

Eventually she decided that her IQ would drop several points if she continued to try and sleep like this, and returned her body to a more straight position and leaned back as far as she could on the bus seat. The man next to her, a big buff kind of guy in his 30s, glanced from his sports magazine at her. He had been sneaking glances at her the entire trip.

So bored... Akula moaned inwardly. The bus ride had been several hours already. Looking out the window, there was nothing but endless woods and hills. The path was well-traveled enough by motor vehicles to scare away most of the Pokemon that would have been near the road, but it wasn't well-traveled enough for the Johto Council to set aside the money to have it repaved. As a result, it was littered with potholes and places where grasses and other small plants had taken root in the cracks that ran through the asphalt. She had finished the book she brought ages ago, there was nothing to see out the window, and there wasn't room enough in the bus to let out her Pokemon.

The bus was part of a new tour to the Lake of Rage. Recently it had become all the rage by people who wanted to go up to see the Rift that had opened up nearby, letting out those supposed monsters from the so-called "Underworld". The Underworld creatures had been all the rage of the news media lately. Life-forms of a kind not previously conceived of by scientists, they said. And swarms of tourists were traveling north now to see them for themselves. Akula had heard of a few foolhardy Pokemon trainers that had gone to test their skills against these creatures. Most of the stories she had heard didn't end up.

A loud screech sounded overhead, and Akula suddenly sprang to the window, craning her neck at the sky. She wasn't the only one, just about everyone else on the bus was doing the same, and the man sharing her seat was now leaning uncomfortably on her body. Personal space much? Akula decided to let it go for the time being, as they were all desperate to see what was out there, but there was a nagging suspicion that the man enjoyed leaning on her a little bit too much.

There! In the sky, her first sight of one of the Underworld creatures. A pair of so-called "Flying Skewers" cruising through the skies above the forest. The bus driver turned on the PA, telling everyone that the Skewers were on the right side of the bus, not the left. People began shifting over to Akula's side of the bus now, making a previously uncomfortable situation even more so.

Flying Skewers, being the first photographed Underworld creatures, were widely regarded as sort of the "symbol" of the Underworld. Within days they had traveled all across the world; Skewers had been spotted as far away as Sinnoh. But those were few in number, and the vast majority remained concentrated around the Rift.

The Skewers let out a dual cry again, and one of them swooped down into the forest, its massive wingspan clearly visible even from this distance. Moments later it reappeared over the skies, hurtling straight upward, with some creature pierced on its lance. It shot straight into the air, slowing down and eventually settling there, hovering in the air as the creature it had caught (it looked like a Tauros, but it was hard to be sure, especially since Tauros didn't really tend to live in this area) slowly slid down its lance. Akula could almost see the creature shrivel up as the Skewer sucked it dry, but that was probably just a figment of her imagination; it was far too distant to see such a detail. Suddenly, the Skewer punched into the air and curved, throwing the unfortunate prey off its lance into the air. The other Skewer, in a remarkable display of agility, ran through the flying corpse with its lance in midair then proceeded to feed on it the same way the other Skewer had. It eventually threw the corpse off its lance as well, and the two Skewer flew off in a direction perpendicular to the one the bus had taken.

Akula politely pushed the man and the other tourists off of her when they faded into the distance. She felt slightly crushed, but the sensation paled in comparison to her first in-person sight of an Underworld creature. It had disturbed her greatly.

OOC: I'm a guy. I just made my gender Female to get into the Divas social group LOL.

IC: "Now, Dew... GO!" the Reuflanok cried in Dew's head. Dew felt the psychic communication link seperate, and Dew began to charge.

He was deep in the Underworld, almost at the very bottom. Around him were mere shadows, fading into the background.

Dew activated his teleporting powers. He teleported closer to the upper world, the one that belonged to humans. He appeared in the midst of a troop of demons, all singing a war song in chorus.

Humans for breakfast, humans for lunch!
Humans for dinner, humans to munch!
Hi-ho, hi-ho!
Humans shall die
And be turned into pie!

Dew held his staff in the sky, and released a purple energy bolt into the air. The song suddenly stopped, and Dew created a thin circle of energy that carried Dew above the monsters so he could see them all. They were his battalion of soldiers, and they were all pathetic. Dew looked down at them, ashamed at their lack of skill. Only because of their numbers will they succeed in the conquering of the World of Humans.

"Soldiers!" Dew cried, "March!"

The soldiers quickly assorted themselves into rows, and began to march. The way out of the Underworld was not far away. Dew followed them on his purple disc of dark energy.

"Time to take down the humans," Dew growled anticipatedly.

OOC: I was actually referring to IC but OOC Uber..

Serena sighed, taking a glance up at the watch tower. Unfortunately one of the guards was watching her, again, like always. She was like a little bird, locked in that stupid cage. Sure, she was let free once in a while. But most of the time she was just a pretty little display for her mother’s friends to gawk at.

The simple fact she was watched at all time sort of scared her. Though, nothing else about the palace seemed to bother her, other then the fact she did have to take certain, annoying, classes because her mother dictated so. Sometimes she wished she knew her father, maybe he would let her train to become a better Pokemon trainer, though, she was already very good for someone who had limited training time and space. She was greatly to use the arena at the back of the palace, but she had to work her way back to her mother’s trust before that. After the whole forest incident with the Ursaring, her mother didn’t even want her training in the palace courtyard. Her mother cared, and she knew that, but at some point the Queen was going to let the girl go.

Ever since the presence of those underworld creatures in the far off edges of Jhoto, Serena had been, well, curious about them. Something about them, she wanted to know more, she was somewhat drawn to them, for a unexplained reason. Serena stood up, her Leafeon jumped off her lap and into the flower bed, squirming a little bit, before nestling gently within the flowers. Serena sighed, though she wanted to know more about the underworld-y creatures, she didn’t want them to actually come to the palace, though she knew in the future, they would be. It was only a matter of time before the attacks started coming closer to the center of Jhoto.

Up in the palace, her mother was sitting at her desk, she was looking over some of the files on the many attacks of underworld. Though, she was queen, someone else was really supposed to be doing this. And they were, but she had copied the files and was looking over them. She glanced out her window into the courtyard, and looked down onto her daughter. With a sigh, she turned back to the horrid underworld files. The files about her daughters other people…

Yukari stood on the terrace of a highrise, staring out at the sun slowly sinking into the sea. The sky was slowly starting to turn dark, and everyone started to shuffle to their homes quickly. From up where she was, the vehicles seemed like toy cars, and the people almost as small as ants. "Welcome back, Larriel," she said, ill looking at the sun slowly setting. "It's been a long time."

Yukari closed her eyes slowly, waiting for Larriel's response. She often loved the knucklehead's comeback lines, and she was eagerly waiting for one of her wisecracks. When no response came, she slowly turned around. Larriel was dressed just the way Yukari remembered her as. The trademark white blouse, black jeans, and a black jacket, with a baseball cap worn back to front.

"New mission?" she asked, pulling out a cigarette. She offered one to Yukari, who took it. "Thanks," she said as Larriel lit it for her. "And yep, we have got a new mission. There's a rumor that this mission was given to us by them."

Larriel removed her cigarette from her mouth and looked at Yukari incredulously. "You don't mean the-"

"Underground, yep," replied Yukari, exhaling a few rings of smoke. "We have been given a heavy hitting mission...and the cut is almost running into millions. We have two actually. The first one will be a team organized mission, the second one is classified- I'm in charge of it."

Larriel shrugged. Normally she would have been curious, but experience and a few years in this organization taught her one thing. This organization- Hawk and Dragons Organization wanted only answers and the job to be done. No questions asked. However, before she could ask a question, Yukari shrugged. and and said, "I'm just given orders to assassinate a man of the government. He's in the anti-organized crime division built recently. They used to target the Underworld recently- we've had no problems with that. But now they are trying to take us out, which is not so good...and besides, this latest fellow is a heavy hitter and honest guy...so yeah. Of course, you're not to tell anyone, we don't want that guy on his guard...yet. Lets go down now."

Larriel nodded. She knew what Yukari meant. Yukari often told her about snippets from inside the organization, and she swore never to tell anyone. As she followed Yukari downstairs, she remembered the time when Yukari first convinced her to join. It was...

"What the hell?!" Yukari screamed, as they apssed a television showroom. Larriel jumped back started, and followed her gaze. On the television was a redhead newscaster with a somber face.

"-And this organization has threatened to wipe out Heavy hitting anti-crime Senator Hugo Chase, and has warned that a heavy hitting assassin will take him out within seventy two hours. Security has been beefed up for this politician, since he's the best chance for the government to get a comeback against the underworld. And in other news.."

Once Dew had led his battalion of demons out of the Underworld, the first thing he saw was...

"AGH! I CAN'T SEE ANYTHING IN THIS BLINDING LIGHT!" Dew howled, shielding his eyes. The demons were writhing in pain loudly beside him too. "Kazeki!" Dew shouted the spell out loud. His staff generated a large circle of dark purple energy that blocked out the source of the light.

Dew looked around. There were humans all around the lake he and his demons had come out of. Mixed emotions were displayed on their faces: surprise, awe, fear.

Dew grunted, and held his right hand up high. The demons looked at him, ready for their orders. Dew slammed his right hand down. The demons howled happily, and charged the humans.

Once all the humans had either fled or been eaten by the demons, Dew murmured, "Kazeki Bilt!" A shield of purple energy wavered erupted out of his staff. It spread over the demon army, and disappeared, taking the demon army with it. This was an invisiblity spell. The demons could see him and follow him, and attack any humans they desired, but they could not be seen by any eyes, including their own.

Outside Rustboro

I walked in my human form, carryhing light clothing that I had ... taken ... from a group of hikers that had wondered a little too much at the human walking around in the middle of nowhere. I looked around at the town below. I saw a few buildings, and looked around. There was one particularly larger larger building than the rest, but it wasn't anything significant. I looked at the town, and saw no threat to my immediate security and mission. I saw a building with a blue roof, and one with a red roof. That was probably where I was going to head next. I walked down, and walked into the blue first. It was a market, and I asked about items I would need for pokemon capture and training. The startled clerk looked at me like I was in my monster form, yet she still showe dme everything that I would need. I walked out about 300 poke lighter, with 5 'great balls', four 'super potions' and a few other objects I still didn't understand. I was ready to begin my assignment. I needed a place to stay now. Mayeb there's somewhere nearby like a hotel?

Dew's purple disc slowly descended on the ground, and faded. Dew touched down on the ground on his bare light blue feet. He couldn't see the invisible demons, but he knew they were right behind him, slobbering the pathetic way they do.

Dew walked on, leading the weak but loyal demons behind him. Whenever they met a human, he was eaten by an invisible demon before he could even ask why Dew was dressed in purple armor or had baby blue skin.

Soon, they saw a town in sight. Dew murmured, "Kazeki Spee!" A small purple ball grew out of the staff, and morphed into a pupil-less eye. Dew closed one of his eyes, and touched the eye. A pupil the same colour as Dew's appeared. Dew smiled. This was the Spying Third Eye. He could temporarily replace one of his eyes with the magic one he created, and send it down to spy on the town below. The eye he had replaced would still be in its closed socket, but if he opened the socket, the spell would disconnect. The Spying Third Eye would disintegrate into purple energy, and get swept up by the wind like sand. Meanwhile, inside the eye socket, strands of unsightable magic would connect from the visual receptors that send images to the brain and connect to the Spying Third Eye so the eye could send the images of whatever it saw to the brain.

Dew sent the eye down into the town. Once it got there, he immediately saw a sign saying "Leaving Mahogany Town - Going to Lake of Rage". There were some old people in the town, as well as a few musclemen and bodybuilders. There were also snowboarders and skiers apparently gearing up to go somewhere. The Spying Third Eye couldn't hear anything, seeing as it didn't have ears.

Dew opened his closed eye, thus seperating the connection with the Spying Third Eye. There was no longer any need for it.

The old men and the boarders weren't any threat, but the bodybuilders were scary. Dew didn't like to admit it, but he was scared of them.

"Let's go around," Dew growled to the invisible demons, instantly hearing disappointed groans. "Shut it!"

Serena stared off into the distant, Lake Rage was just beyond the giant forest. With a sigh she sent her Pokemon off to the training grounds to train by themselves. She knew Soot would fight like crazy and train his hardest, Iris would sit in the sun and watch his moves, taking in how to do combat with a fire type and the small Dragonair would play in the water section.

Serena stepped towards the gates, resting her hands around their black iron groves. Something was going on, she could feel it. But how could she feel it? Only Pokemon had the sense to do that, them and the creatures of the underworld.

“Your just scaring yourself…Don’t think about those dreams..” she though allowed. Turning away from the gate and heading inside.

Serena’s mother had just gotten news of some havoc being reeked just before Lake Rage, no clue what it was, but they knew it wasn’t good.

“Serena! Stay inside my love, something is going on near lake rage.” the middle aged queen said.

If it was the underworld it was obvious they were coming for the palace.

Serena yelled an agreement to her mother and ran into her room.

“yea right” she murmured.

She changed into jean shorts and a blue silky tank top, tight around the bust then flowed out in the middle, then hugged her hips. It was green, that was what she was going for, to blend in with the foliage. She grabbed her backpack and called her Iris and Soot to her. Dragonair was going to stay home this time.

She opened her window and placed her foot, covered in tennis shoes (literally shoes made for tennis), onto the lower roof. Balancing herself she slide on her side down the slanted roof and landed just beyond the gate. She ran quickly into the forest before the guards could see her.

She wanted to see what was going on around Lake Rage, but the princess was putting herself in a whole lot of danger.

OOC: Alana, when you refer to the thing happening to at the Lake of Rage, are you referring to my mass slaughter of people around the Lake of Rage? x]

And Alana, I'm gonna attack you. Be prepared. >:)

Just so you know, I'm gonna let you take down my army. :D LOL

IC: Dew began to head around Mahogany Town. He sighted a small palace far off to the distance. He decided to attack it, just for the sake of his bloodthirsty demons. They were disappointed that they missed out on attacking Mahogany Town, but he decided they could have the mansion.

"Go," Dew murmured. The demon army behind him surged forward towards the mansion. He couldn't see them, but he could smell their repulsive stench.

"Kazeki!" Dew said. He created a disc under his feet out of dark magic contained in his staff. The disc started to hover over the ground, and Dew made it gain more altitude. He had a view of the palace.

"Kazeki Bilt!" Dew murmured. The invisibility cloak over the demons faded. Sure, the people in the mansion would be able to see them, but at the pace they're running at, it wouldn't matter anyways.

[[OOC: Well if you are aiming to take over the Jhoto region, attacking the princess is proably the best idea (yea das right Ima princess :D) and Lake rage is on the other side of a really large forest. Serena is not even half way through the forest and your on the other side of lake. And it is a palace :) not a mansion. A palace for the queen :O

Serena cannot fight!? But her pokemon can :p]]

IC:

Serena heard the trampling of feet in the far off distance, if that was not warning enough, her Pokemon were becoming antsy. But figuring it was a stampede of some sort of hoofed Pokemon she continued forward. Iris looked at her wordily.

“Do not give me that look! You know as well as I do mother is way to protective.” she stated flatly, Soot let out a puff of smoke, letting his trainer acknowledge that he too felt something wrong, but was completely okay to continuing forward to see what it was.

“The commotion is on the other side of Lake Rage right now, the lake is huge and not to mention this giant forest we are wandering in. I will not get close enough to the Lake to be harmed.” it was comforting to Iris, when she was gifted to Serena she had it jammed into her skull to make sure the Princess was safe. Iris shook her head and continued on.

They were only a quarter of the way through the forest, though Serena did not know it, the demon army was heading towards her, perhaps only 3 miles away. But she was extremely drawn to their direction. Perhaps it was the genes her father had passed down to her. Though not a lot, she did have Underworld blood flowing through her. It did not show in her soft appearance. Wavy pink hair, blue eyes and subtle features were characteristics of humans. Though she was rather pale and had very red lips, not to mention the black gem that had been attached to her forehead since birth. Though she knew nothing of this, no one did. Only her mother and their most trusted servant.

Little shafts of light filtered down from in between the trees, sending golden columns to the grassy forest floor. Serena wandered further into the forest. No normal underwolrd-ly beast could tell she had the same blood as them. For she possessed none of their powers, none that she knew of at least, nor had she shown any signs of Demonic traits. Very few would be able to tell something was different, maybe one or two could tell she was not fully human.

They were walked in a strategic slanted formation, stretching across the roadway in a diagonal line, it was something they always did in the forest. Soot was to the front, far to the left, swinging his fiery tale back and forth. He was there to attack anything that came close to them with the intent of injury. Serena was in the middle of the road, protected on either side by her Pokemon and keeping a sharp eye ahead of her and widened her view to either side of her, where the forest could hide enemy’s and rare Pokemon. Iris was at the back to the right, her ears extremely sensitive to what was going on behind her.

Serena and her Pokemon continued to walk along the path that lay before them.

As the bus drove further north of Johto, they began to encounter other people and cars. Some were going in the same direction the tour was, but most were heading away. Pretty soon they hit a traffic jam. Two cars had collided in the middle of the road, blocking it. Standing outside was one very pissed-looking gentleman shouting at a teenager. Neither appeared to be hurt badly, although there was a small gash on the man's head. The people on the other side of the roadblock seemed really anxious to get going, as well as the people on this side, but the people on the other side seemed to have a different reason than simply being bored. Fear, that was it.

The bus driver took the opportunity to open his window and shout at a passerby, "Hey, why are ya'll so anxious to get away?" he called at a group of pedestrians who had abandoned their motor vehicles by the side of the road and were proceeding on foot.

"They're killing everyone!" a voice shouted back. Due to the angle, Akula couldn't see who it was, but it sounded like a high-pitched woman's voice.

"Who's killing everyone?" the bus driver called back.

"The creatures! The demons! The things!"

The driver grunted and shut the window, then turned back to the passengers. "Well, if anybody doesn't want to keep going, now's the time."

Several people raised their hands uncertainly. Akula was one of those who didn't. She was more curious than frightened. Besides, her Pokemon would protect her.

"Well, doesn't look like there's enough to warrant turning this bus around. Ya'll can wait here for the next bus." The bus doors opened. Several people grumpily exited, although not all the ones who had raised their hands.

Pretty soon a pair of tow trucks had arrived and hauled away the blockage, and the bus continued on.

As the demon army began its rapid and messy approach towards the palace, a girl accompanied by some Pokemon walked along the path. Dew saw this from his vantage point up in the sky. He assumed the human didn't see him, and murmured, "Kazeki Bilt!" A cloak of invisibility shrouded Dew from view.

Next, Dew said, "Kazeki Mocuk!" An image of the demon commander, the only demon in Dew's legion possible to have a drip of intelligence, appeared before Dew. The demon commander halted, and howled. The rushing wave of demons in the background stopped.

"Shut up!" Dew hissed, "There's a human nearby-"

Dew heard whooping in the background and raised his voice. "SHUT UP!" The whooping stopped immediately. "Good... Now, I want you to know that human is accompanied by some Pokemon, so it won't be an easy match. They look tough. There's three."

The demon commander laughed. "You underestimate us, General. They'll be eaten alive."

"Just don't do anything stupid," Dew said, knowing full well they would end up dead. Despite that, he ended the communication link.

He watched the demons approach the girl. They lingered in the shadows of the trees, waiting for her to cross the road in between the trees. A few demons set themselves up underground, below the road so the girl would be trapped. It looked perfect at first glance, but the Pokemon accompanying the girl emnated pure power. Dew felt it from his location up in the sky.

Still, it should make for an entertainment, at the least...

OOC: For the sake of Roleplays, I'm dropping blinding post. No pink/Tre MS. Oh, and try to avoid this post. PG-15 + humor. :P

Yukari Tanizaki
Rustboro City
Hoenn

Yukari sharply inhaled.

The news broadcast had shaken her slightly. No one was actually supposed to know about it. Or at least, that's how she thought it was supposed to be...Missions were carried out under cover. Not even people from other Departments were supposed to know what was going on, not even the Cryptographers, the most highly respected people in the organiation. Even they...when encrypting or decrypting data, they had to work on it piece by piece, so nobody would ever get the meaning/value of the message.

Larriel walked in as she was glaring at the phone, debating whether or not she should call Headquarters and inform them of the leak. Or maybe it wasn't a leak..was it? Would they want her to actually go head on with the...nah, too impossible. But then...

"Sophie," she turned to Larriel. Sophie was Larriel's real name. When Sophie had joined the organization, she had suggested a code name for Soph, who chose the name "Larriel". Small grunts needed codenames more urgently than the higher ups...but the difference in their statures did nothing to affect their relationship.

"Stop ******** like that, Yukari," Sophie snapped, chucking a can of Beer at her. "Can it, and wait for Headquarters to brief you about this mission," she smiled saucily at Yukari, who shook her head. "We've already been through this thing twice, Sophie," Yukari told her. Things go according to protocol and as expected...normally," she emphasized the last word, as she took a swig out of the can.

Sophie shrugged and threw two more cans at Yukari, who groaned. "How the hell do you expect me to finish this?" She looked at Sophie, who had a lopsided grin on her face.

"Fin-huh? Fin..land..ish nishfin the bear, Yu..karry..." Larriel said drunkenly.

"You're drunk!" Yukari accused her, but Sophie shook her head. "Dr-dru unc? Who? She turned around and glanced at the windows behind her. "They...ish not drunk," rasped Sophie, her blond hair tousled, her eyes dead looking, and her cheeks red. She looked the same way as Yukari'd first remembered her, when they spent the night at her house. Sophie had at first, been a tool in one of her missions, to gain her trust and friendship, then to use her knowledge about her past employers.

She tried going roundabout by asking about them, but it turned out that Sophie was not only willing, but seemed eager to talk about them. On an impulse, Yukari had explained her mission. Sophie agreed unhesitatingly, and she managed to eliminate Sophie's former employers -Incidentally, they were highly dangerous people in the secret service, which Sophie didn't know- and celebrated their mission. Both of them went drunk over their success, and in their drunk stupor..

Yukari smiled as she went to her bedroom and undressed, thinking about what happened after that. It wasn't highly expected, but she was the more dominant of the two and Yukari just succumbed to hormones. Now she had to think about escorting Sophie tomorrow to her home, if she sobered up. Suddenly, Yukari felt a pair of arms around her. "What the-" she demanded as she turned around to see Larriel..

Her mobile phone rang.

Larriel made a drunken grab at it, but Yukari stopped her firmly. "Spoling our fun, ******* piece of battery loaded..." Sophie started to swear, but Yukari went to the next room and ignored her. "Yes?" she asked, as she looked around for a housecoat. As she heard the voice over the phone, her eyes stopped darting around and gazed out of the window unblinkingly. She nodded once or twice. As she started to tie up the housecoat, she suddenly stopped mid way and let it hang loose. "I see...alright chief," she said, trying to hide the sigh, as she switched off her mobile. She stared out of the window, and was startled to see a nineteen year old boy staring at her exposed chest from the opposite building's window, and was quickly looking elsewhere.

Yukari smiled as she felt a sudden urge to do something really random. She hissed "Hey! Kid!"

As the teenager looked back at her, Yukari let go of the housecoat and let it drop to the floor. The teenager gasped and fell back into his room, evidently unconscious.

Yukari smiled as she tied back the housecoat. Doubtlessly...this was going to be her last fun night.

Chimney swooped down, then, folding up his wings and tucking them neatly behind him, he landed near a road.

"Hey, Chimney, what are you doing? We're not at Lake Rage yet!" asked Aura.

Chimney pulled his wings out again suddenly, making Aura jump off, landing. "Hey, I did what you wanted me to do. We're at Johto."

"Yeah, but not at Lake Rage! That's where I need to go, you twanger!"

"Hey, twanger's my insult. I invented it."

"Shut up! Why are you stopping? We aren't at Lake Rage!!"

"I'm not going anywhere near that place! That's where all the Underworld creatures live in!!"

"But you promised!"

"I said I'd take you to Johto, not Lake Rage, actually, if you remember."

"Damn you!"

Chimney flew off, leaving Aura cursing at him and making rude gestures.

"I can't believe that bugger just left me here! Arceus, when I get back I am so going to feed him his brain!"

He looked across the road, looking for any vehicles he might be able to hitch a ride in. Of course, the person who gave him a ride wouldn't do it voluntarily.

He spotted a white van heading in the vague direction of Lake Rage. He hastily ran up from behind it, nearly tripping over a stone in his hurry, and jumped on the top, hooking his feet into a little handle on the top to stop himself falling off. Behind him he could see a few other cars with drivers in him. Because Aura was that sort of pokemon, he waved at them first to catch their attention, then made vulgar gestures at them. Aura enjoyed that sort of thing. He spotted their shocked and angry faces in them, some of the children sitting as passengers in the back made rude gestures back to him.

He felt almost rejuvinated by the wind whipping around him and the feeling of air on his face. He breathed in deeply, resting his back against the top of the van, and nearly fell off. He sat up, then chanced a quick glance inside the van, by swinging his head down so he could see through the window. The driver was too intent on steering the vehicle to see him, but his passenger did, and was wearing a suprised expression on her face, stunned. Aura swung through the window, and landed on her, putting a hand over her mouth so she couldn't yell. Somehow, the driver still hadn't noticed him, and was still staring intently at the road.

It looked like he had been staring at the window all day. Aura was starting to get anxious. That kind of attention span was really unusual for humans. Was he possibly an Underworld creature, leading him into a trap? So he clambered up close to him, and socked him in the face.

The driver crumpled up, folding over the instant Aura had hit him. He could tell that the man was unconscious. "Hey, so he really is a human after all!" realised Aura. Then he realised that now that the driver was unconscious, the van would crash. And then, after realising all those things, he realised they were crashing already.

Serena continued forward, staring off into space. She bumped into Soot.

“Why have you stopped?” she questioned the Charmeleon.

Iris growled at the nearby trees, her fangs bared and her nose wrinkled.

“Who is there?” she asked, backing up in between Iris and Soot. The princess was in danger and her Pokemon would certainly protect her.

A demon appeared from the foliage and Serena screamed rather loudly, anyone would at the sight of one of those things. This was a stupid idea, now she just provided the demon army with a hostage, the perfect hostage.

“St-stay back” she said, her hand slowly making its way into the back pocket of her skirt, where her cell phone was. She did not take it out, why be stupid and give it up.

Instead she simple pressed one, speed dial to the guard services at the palace. It rang silently in her pocket. Soot stared angrily at the demons that emerged. Nothing was getting past him without a fight. Iris growled and nudged Serena’s leg. The girl turned her eyes on the Pokemon, it slanted its end and squinted its eyes. Serena nodded. And stared ahead as more and more demons appeared. She looked up, she had a feeling something was up there. She did not know how she knew, or why, but she knew something was up there watching her.

Also, feel free to bunny the demons. They're not neccessarily under my control. :P

IC: Dew saw the girl walk into the demon's trap. The demons revealed themselves to her, and she walked into the midst of her three Pokemon.

"Hehe..." Dew murmured, "Three Pokemon against my pathetic demons... This should be pretty two-sided. Of course, if I let my demons get themselves killed, the Reuflanok willl bitc* at me about it."

Dew decided to see what would happen before he assisted the demons. Perhaps some of his demons would die, and then they wouldn't trouble Dew any longer.

OOC: If it’s alright with you, I created some new underworld regions and creatures. Also, I created a few rumors on what the core might be doing. Anything I created will be described at the bottom of my post. (Yeah, my imagination went a little wild today  )

IC: Warning - giant RPG post ahead!

“Hey, father. I wanted to check up on you, make sure you’re all right...” I find myself involuntarily shuddering as I try to banish sudden thoughts of defiled bodies and war torn lands from my mind. “How is the rebellion going?”

I feel myself smiling peacefully in this forest clearing, the Alakazam standing beside me, split between the effort of maintaining the telepathic middleman connection and using his clairvoyance to watch for others nearby. Despite the undefiled terrain, the place is completely barren of fauna, the flora not ruffling nor the wind breathing, widely spaced tracks and countless trampled ground plants all over the place, as if the animal kingdom itself rose in a mass exodus against a sudden terror...

His voice came back in a split second, a mix of emotions reflected on his glorious, aging face, the brilliant mane and coat of silver hair and his forehead’s lines revealing his maturity.

His voice sounded out in an utterly serious tone. “Do you want the good news or bad news first?”

“The good news! I want to hear what you done, dad! And your people, of course...” I countered quickly, stopping a reminder.

“Our Lumidrake army is breaking through the defenses of the Infernal Archipelago, destroying thousands of demon pits on the north front and scattering - what did the humans call it - uranium all over the place.” Yes, I recalled, scattering glowing materials in all the conquered places, even radioactive rocks and metals for those inhabitants we have that are immune to and even benefit from it. A combination of land conversion and area denial that was developed by our generals when the war started. “Our crystal creatures will love the mineral rich, radioactive area....”

He gave an amused chuckle as he went on to describe the successful defense of the Emerald Plains, the storming of several temples to the core, and the progressing terraforming of conquered lands into lands of light.

But he said something else...

“The bad news?” I ask with a sudden grimness.

“We are attempting to quarantine several plagues on the eastern front. Death tolls are rising into the thousands there, with many of the less hardy inhabitants quickly dying off. Even some of our strongest organic soldiers are finding it hard to fight off these diseases.” He sighs sorrowfully, as if to recall a painful memory. “We had to slay nearly a score of our flyers and several hundred citizens who attempted to scatter across the countryside....”

“Origin?” I ask, feeling a sudden cold anger engulf me.

“A pack of Pestikrows, raised in a neighboring series of filth ridden, diseased and poisoned caverns. Several were found dead in the river a few days ago, with a few others diving through that storm at about the same time.”

It came as no surprise to me that the region would employ biological warfare - it’s inhabitants are known all around the Underworld for their affinity with viruses and toxins of all kinds. The only thing surprising to me was that our general weren’t prepared for such an attack...

“You understand evil no better then they did.” He answered with a kind, but condescending tone. “We never experienced war like this before.”

“But-“

“There is a much greater concern among our group.” He said abruptly, changing the subject. Despite my irritation at this, it still held my interest...

He answered before I could speak. “It is rumored that the Core is seeking to create an avatar, a body which he can project his power through and take on physical form.” He said coolly, but in a sudden rush.

“Why? Someone so powerful shouldn’t need to do this, right?”

He sighs again. “Think about his limitations! He is an extremely powerful telepath, that we already know. He can focus his gaze on one area and see everything within. He can provide others with energy to use for magic or their own personal techniques. However, he is limited in that he is a being of pure energy and thought, potentially godlike in power, but unable to influence the physical world directly. If he was, our own advantages wouldn’t matter, and we would be dead by now.”

The concept finally came to me fully. “He wishes to create a body powerful enough to hold all his power so that he could directly control the world around him on a godlike scale.”

“That is our theory. Such a move would give him the decisive advantage needed to destroy all the rebels, then the humans and any loyal pokemon above.”

“How evil of him!” I exclaimed in horror.

He just chuckled darkly. “Nothing is evil for evil’s sake, not even Reuflanok himself. I think that he wants to preserve the Underworld - the cult members I overheard said that it’s them or us. It could just be brainwashing, but I think he fears humans breaking into his sacred home, so he prevents it by attacking first. The rebellion started because - as you well know - we would have felt the same way as the humans did if our home was invaded, and we think that we can live in peace with the Overworld.”

“Of course you would say that, and I agree.” I remember, however, the type of world we live in ourselves. “But our home, and others like it that have joined in the rebellion, also see the Overworld as being similar to our own homes.”

“And?” He asked, pressing me on.

Taking a moment to think, the insight came again. “They would want to preserve a place like their own home, then migrate to it and begin expanding their populations. The different races of the Underworld all want to expand their own species, and we are simply doing the same.”

“Precisely.” A big smile spread across his face as he saw me figure this out. “I press you so because a general should know how, where, when, who with, but most importantly, why he’s fighting his war.” He said abruptly, hastily, as if being pressed for time.

His face turned serious again. “I must go. Your Alakazam has picked up several Underworld movements nearby. There is an army trying to capture one of this region’s rulers” - he spat out the last word in an icy, condescending tone before speaking again - “and another group nearby slaying hundreds of Overworld inhabitants at a lake up north of your position. I have another war meeting I must attend to... Goodbye.” And on that note, he suddenly vanished as the telepathic link was broken.

I gaze around at the clearing; still the same as before, but with the faint brimstone smell drifting on the winds, the stench associated with volcanic underworld creatures. They are closer then I thought, or there are enough of them for the wind to carry the odor through the forest...

A map of what I know to be the Johto region flashes before my eyes. Jumping back in sudden shock, I watch from a bird’s eye view the movements of the creatures around the Lake of Rage. About 11,000 low power demons have created an encirclement around the Lake, beams of flames and dark energy from small packs of higher level devils obliterating any human that dares reveal themselves as several flying skewers probe the skies for any potentially challenging opponents.

Then I saw many different creatures suddenly pop up about 500 yards from me. There are...

I saw a brief flash of a rainbow colored warp gate, with many creatures suddenly coming out of it. The next second, I suddenly found myself transported to another clearing, this one with a small lake surrounded by thick trees. The portal is still there, hovering about a foot above the ground just under a hundred feet away from me, giving off rays in all the colors in the rainbow as more brings come through into our world...

The sight would be considered spectacular by any human being. Vast lion-like creatures with eagle wings expanding over 60 feet from end to end, their feathers glowing a gleaming metallic gold curve up into the sky, circling the lake below. Snow white horses with brilliantly glowing wings charge out of the portal next, the Pegasi-like creatures riding in a circle below the griffins above. A small herd of my own species, all fully grown but inexperienced, charge out of the gate, forming a diamond formation around me. Finally, a dozen firebirds leap out of the gate, the flames around their bodies glowing gold, crimson and white as they circle the middle of the lake above the pegasi. As the last phoenix exits the gate, the brilliant portal suddenly vanishes from existence...

But it seemed that the Alakazam also had his plan in store, for though I did not notice his disappearance, he suddenly materialized again before me, the forms of different psychic pokemon - a Xatu, two Espeons, five Mr. Mimes, six Kadabras, and six Girafarigs - suddenly appearing around him between the unicorns and the lake.

Sorry I couldn’t get more, Solis! We got our clan spread already with the defense of Goldenrod, and the Metagross chief said that I could only bring twenty from their reserves, so...

You did great, my friend. How long will they stay?

Until a more dangerous situation comes along, of course!

How comforting. Nonetheless, they are unexpected allies that will help me defend the lake today.

You will be psychically coordinating the army? A quick, exuberant yes followed.

All right... Have the Espeons and Xatu watch the sky. Most of my army is aerial, which means we can expect the opponent to use flyers of their own, particularly skewers... Have the Kadabras spy on the opponent army, the Girafarigs probe the forest and ground for ambushes, and the Mr. Mimes accompany my flyers in case they try an anti-air attack. I stated firmly, analyzing the potential weaknesses of this army and countering them beforehand.

Will do! The rest?

I don’t want to commit myself to a full attack without knowing my enemy, but if I delay, more humans and pokemon will die. I reply grimly, knowing the need for both planning and immediate action. I will take six of the phoenixes along with me and try to sow chaos among their armies. We won’t be strong enough alone to kill them all, but if we can throw them off long enough for the humans to respond and/or plan out a full attack by our forces, we should be able to destroy that army.

Then go. I will tell the rest of your army of your plans immediately.

Thank you. I was about to call for the rest of my team of disruption, but I found the six firebirds already circling me, ready to sow chaos among their ranks.

“You better get in and get out. We’ll do our thing, but you better retreat before they get their act together again.” One of the phoenixes told me sternly.

“Naturally. I’ve got a plan here that should throw them all off quite well... Unfortunately, we’ll have to make up part of it on the go.”

“I was afraid of that.”

“As am I...” I sighed truthfully. What sane person charges into a possible death or failure without feeling fear? I immediately told them my thoughts.

“Aye, Solis. You’re wiser then you look...” He gives a moment’s consideration. “We’ll come with you. Just keep your head on straight, okay?”

I nod silently, hoping that I would be able to.

“Let’s go. Full speed you can manage, directly above the trees. I’ll navigate the forest.”

And without a further word, I charged into the trees, weaving my way through the forest, picking up speed as I heard the rushing sounds and saw the flame trails behind me....

OOC Notes:

* Lumidrakes are long, serpent-like dragons (Think Dragonair build, but over 120 feet long and 10 feet wide and thick at full maturity - however, they take a millennia to fully mature) that are covered in a mix of sky blue and lavender scales. Males grow semi-transparent golden scale plates of crystal armor with age, while with females it is silver, both of which grow harder, shinier, and smoother as they mature. They can burrow in soft to medium-hard ground, slither on land, swim in water, or fly by levitating themselves with a supernatural force. They love to decorate themselves with gemstones, with them being considered a status symbol in their society. They are considered omnivores, but prefer plants and sucking rocks for minerals. In battle, they use light and elemental-based techniques.

* Pestikrows are giant, skeletal looking crows, colored with pale white dirty feathers, jet black decayed looking skin, and pale green talons and spikes over it’s entire body, concentrated on the wings. These protrusions and his yellowed fangs drip fluids that are contaminated with a vast variety of poisons and diseases. The toxins this creature generates and the sharpness of his talons, spikes, and fangs becomes more potent as he ages. This bird comes with draconic features, such as taloned feet, a scaly, spiked tail, his previously mentioned fangs, and a snout that breathes out corrupted air. If forced to battle directly, for they would prefer to expose their meals to a spit poison and kill them without fighting, they use mostly poison and dark based techniques. They are immune to all poisons and diseases, including their own.

* The Emerald Plains are a part of Solis’s home region, proliferating with temperate climate plants and fruits, many rivers, and as is implied by the name, many emeralds on either the walls and roof of the cavern, on the ground, or in the water. Like other areas in that region, it is under continuous light by a combination of glowing rocks and tracts of radioactive metals. Many grass types that have adapted to the radiation over the millions of years make their home here.

* The Infernal Archipelago is a series of volcanic islands made out of igneous rock at different stages of development, surrounded by a vast sea of perpetually heated magma. The area is incredibly rich in minerals, creating vast deposits of all kinds on the walls and islands. The heat of this region, combined with several cold areas it borders, creates constant harsh, burning winds that blow huge clouds of volcanic ash and sulphur across the region. Crystal and gem based creatures thrive here, with infernal underworld creatures making up the majority of it’s population.

OOC: Daaaaaammmnnn. I don't even wanna know what the word count for that was, Solar. There is such a thing as too long, you know..? Also, please be nice to me in this RP guys, lmao. Never done a Pokemon RP before, so hopefully I'll get something out of this.

IC:

Silence.

That was all to be heard, besides the crunching of leaves and small brush under the heels of a suspicious shadowy figure, clad in an oversized black trenchcoat and hood. Very suspicious. The figure walked at a brisk pace, a setting sun dropping patchy and blotted artistic blurs of bright orange on the forest path which had but one person on it.

Well, one and a half if you counted the shady looking Mawile walking right next to him. A sigh passed out of the Mawile's mouth. It was obviously getting tired of this walking business. Not even turning his head to look, the suspicious male cursed under his breath. You whine to me about how boring it is in your ball, then you whine to me about how boring it is out here, but won't go back into your ball. THEN, I STRESS how important it is that you are SILENT as DEATH while we sneak out of Blackthorn, and YOU make noises of annoyance EVERY OTHER SECOND!" Who had known it was possible to yell while whispering, but this male had pulled it off. The mentioned Mawile in turn just shrugged him off. Oh how he would have loved to punt it all the way to his destination and not have to deal with it, but there were two issues. One, it was a steel Pokemon, which really would just end up in him bashing his toe in. And two, he needed it anyways, and it was after all his Pokemon. His latest capture, actually. With the turning up of the rift, funny stuff had been happening lately. Pokemon found in only other regions were, for one, now occassionally found in just random places. He had found this cave-dwelling Mawile in a forest, for goodness sakes. And it wasn't even in the right region! This little Mawile was what compelled the male, Taikan Hyousetsu, to discover what all the hype and raving of this "rift" was about. He had heard stuff, like on the news, that it may have something to do with stuff underground, and it may have gone in-depth, but Tai was never one for T.V. anyways.

After a half an hour of groans, moans, and all other sounds of discomfort from Taikan's newest friend, they had finally reached the next stepping stone on the road to their destination. Mahogany Town was awash in the last cries of a setting sun. Surprising that so many people were out at this time, but who cared. To each their own. Finally, Taikan literally ripped off his coat. It was waaay too hot to wear a trench coat over another coat. And for Taikan, who hated heat, that little walk was like hell. But it was necessary, he thought to himself with an inward sigh. If his friends or anyone from the village found out he was going to visit the rift, they would freak out, faint, laugh, and then say they would go too. He didn't want them to endanger themselves just for him, which was why he wore such shady clothes. But now he was wearing just his normal attire, an open blue coat and white pants, and he was thankful. Another ten minutes and he would have committed suicide from the heat. Now he had to cross the forest which stood between him and the Lake of Rage, his final destination. Well, if he was in the mood, he would. Which he wasn't. He would spend the night resting at the town's PokeCenter. He had no cash for nice hotels anyways. But for now, he might as well walk around and enjoy his stay at Mahogany. His Pokemon must have been wanting to stretch their legs anyways, so he removed all of them from the sash which served as his loose, ornate belt, and tossed them into the orange-black sky. After the balls released their inhabitants and were now safely secured to his sash once again, he greeted his friends as they stretched and walked around him for a little, taking in their surroundings. They must have seemed like an odd crew to see, considering no one would release all their Pokemon unless they were about to have a battle. Speaking of which, he hadn't battled in who knows how long. Training seemed to be all he did lately. Tai would have to take these guys on a road trip for battling one of these days. Although they were all hardy Pokemon. He sure did know how to pick 'em. A swift and speedy Sneasel, a clever and strategic Frosslass, an Evee with enough willpower to go around, and of course, Mawile. Not much to say about Mawile, although it did always seem to come through whenever Tai needed him to. Together, they were sort of like a family, and all got stronger like a family. They were all Tai had, ever since his parents had..

But he wasn't here in Mahogany to think about that gloomy, depressing stuff that tied to his parents. He was here to get to somewhere else, and since he couldn't.. or wouldn't.. do that until tomarrow, he was here to enjoy himself.

Walking down the street, he and his Pokemon saw a nice place to grab some food with the little money they did have. But upon trying to enter, a butch man at the door stopped them. "No Pokemon. If you want in, put them in their balls. If not, keep walking, we don't need you here anyways." Nice and friendly statement. Minus the nice and the friendly, that is. "Oh.." mumbled Taikan. "Well, in THAT case.." Taikan flicked the man a bird and kept on walking. He would not do something so cruel as eat without his Pokemon when they were all just as ravenous as him. Eventually, they found a place that had take out, and allowed Pokemon. Much better, seeing as Tai never liked eating in resturants, be it fast food or fancy. A burger for him, some chow for the Pokemon, and he was out the door, brown take out bags in hand. "Now to pig out at the PokeCenter.."

If only things were that easy.

"What the--?"

A fumble, and Tai was on the ground, wearing their food. A man had bumped into him, and just kept walking. "Hey, you jerk!" Running up to the man, spinning him around, and grabbing him by the collar, Tai had a nasty look in his eyes. He wasn't in the mood for this. "You just made me wear my dinner. How about you at least say you're sorry and pay for it?"

"I don't think so." A scratchy man's voice. In the darkness, he hadn't noticed at first who it was. It was the door watcher from that snob resturant. "How about you let go of me before I shove you up your little friends'--" he didn't finish the sentence, because Tai grew tired of him and just smashed his face in, feeling indifferent about it. Surprising that one punch would be enough to drop (and even knock out!) a big, manly man like that, but who knew. Maybe Tai was manlier, or the man was just all talk and no walk. Regardless, Taikan shook his head at the poor fortunes of the man as he picked up the man's wallet which had fallen out of his pocket and on the floor. Taking out quite a bit more than what the man owed him, Taikan walked back to the place where he had originally gotten his grub, purchased what he had for a second time, and started on his way to the forest between Mahogany and the Lake of Rage, him and his Pokemon stuffing their mouths as they went. "Sorry guys, we'll have to sleep in the forest tonight." Simultanious whines greeted him as he smiled at them. They all really were like family.

What an annoying day. Or night, actually. Hopefully what tomarrow would bring would be better.

Serena frowned as more demons emerged from the lush green bushes like a butterfly from it’s cocoon. Their hooked fangs glinted in the pale green light and their horns poked from their mottled heads. Dagger like claws clicked together as the demons grinned with glee at their prey. They wanted blood, they wanted her dead. They must have been stupid creatures, for to control the Jhoto region then needed leverage over the queen. Well their leverage was sitting right in front of them and all they could think about was feeling their claws run through her flesh, right down to her bone. Fell her blood run over their gnarled skin.

Serena took yet another step back, Soot and Iris moved closer to her as more demons emerged from the bush’s all around them. It was a horrifying experience.

“Soot” she whispered “Flameweel, take out the three on the left, Iris use razor leaf and get the ones in front. Then Soot use ember on the ones to the right…” she said quietly.

The princess took a few steps back. “Ready.” she took another step “Set…GO!”

The Pokemon launched into attack, Soot sent a ring of fire spiraling towards the demons knocking down at least 6 of them, they clawed at the fire melting their skin and fell over. Right after flameweel was sent a wind of leaves attacked the demons on in front of them. The stupid things were to busy staring at their fallen comrades. They fell down in a bloody heap of leaves. Finally Soot’s mouth was set aglow by burning embers that spewed out and stuck to the demons on the right, they screeched and tried to rip the molten bits off but they held.

“Not very smart are they..” Serena muttered as a the demons that had shown themselves fell.

Dew saw the girl's Pokemon take out roughly one quarter of his battalion. There goes the stupid bloodthirsty ones.

"Survival of the Best: Where Both Brains and Brawn Matter," Dew murmured to himself, chuckling.

The rest of the demons showed themselves. They created a circle around the girl, and snarled at her.

"Let's see how good this battalion is," Dew yawned.

Serena bent down next to Iris, sometimes talking to her Pokemon calmed her down.

“If the leader up there had any sense he would capture me instead of watching these demons eat my skin and ruin their chance at leverage” she muttered under her breath.

No human would be able to hear it, but maybe a demon could. One of them sprung at her, she fell to the side as it over shot and landed behind her. Soot sent a blast of flames at it and it fell backwards.

“Iris Razor leaf!” the leaves were flung straight up into the air and swirled about.

“Soot! Flame wheel on the leaves, go, keep the heat going” the flames then engulfed the leaves, the razor like bits fluttered about in a whirlpool of fire.

Soot looked Serena in the eye, the girl nodded. The movement signaled Soot, left the flaming tower go and it collapsed atop of Serena, Iris, Soot and all the demons around them. While at that exact moment Iris used protect and wrapped them in a protective barrier. The flames ran over the shield and towards the demons, they screeched as the fire engulfed them. Leaving some dead and other badly burned, cowering on the ground in fear. The flames cleared and Serena and her Pokemon were left standing the in wreckage.

Serena was shaking, they had never really tried that technique before. She had no clue weather Iris could have held that up. Not to mention it was for use of her Pokemon not her. She looked up at the leader, somewhat afraid of his wrath now that her Pokemon had mutilated his troops. Was he angry? She did not know, her Pokemon stood in ready positions, waiting to pounce, to save their trainer at all costs.

Soot swished his tail back and forth, the flame was hot and large, burning angrily. Iris was growling, her fangs showing.

Biestos

I was stalking the night in Rustboro, looking around as multiple buildings that these humans called houses, or hotels, or apartments, as I saw a woman several floors above me. She was toying with another boy across the imaginary view of they sky, not noticing the other observer beneath her. I thought about attacking, but I had to keep my cover low. Besides, I needed pokemon to study. I looked around for a place to stay, and I chose the allyway between the hotel and another building. I watched my surroundings, making sure that no one was watching me get into a place that I could familiarize enough as a shelter for now.

We shall strike out tomorrow. Do not concern yourself with the beautiful woman. Unless beauty has taste, then it does not matter.

OOC: Just so you now my guy doesn't know you're the princess. He prolly wouldn't care, he just cares about killing them all LOL

IC: The girl had managed to take down all his demons.

"Interesting..." Dew murmured. He revealed his staff, and said, "Kazeki Des!" The demons disappeared back to the Underworld, where they could be healed by a medic. Dew wasn't concerned by this turn of events. He had a feeling that the demons would lose. However, if this girl went up against him herself... Dew hadn't done much battle recently, he didn't mind getting some excercise.

Dew floated down to the girl on his energy disc, and landed softly on the ground, his staff pulled out and in a ready stance. It was held like a double-edged blade. That reminded Dew of a spell he had only used as a novice. It was his favourite spell in close combat, though he killed the few who he fought with ranged spells.

"Kazeki Eras!" Dew shouted. Purple energy created a bubble around his staff, and morphed into a double-edged sword. His staff was still inside, only it was now under the protection of the shaped purple energy.

"Prepare to die, girly..." Dew cackled, and ran towards the girl. He swiped at her.
