What do ya'll think is the best anime? I have to go with Gundam Wing, Neo Genisis Evangelion, ROD: The TV, and Akira

Wing was just plain cool, and the charaters where great. Endless Waltz is one of my faveriot movies.

NGE has emotion, charater devepment, and mechs. My favriot Anime so far.

ROD is funny and deep. I love wacthing the girls with thier antics.

Akira... this is godly. One of my favriot movies. Tied with NEG.

WTF? How the hell can you have an Anime called Inuyasha without Inuyasha? I agree that Sesshomaru is cool, he's quite cool as a matter of fact, but Inuyasha makes the show with his many dimensions, and he just brings more to the show than Sess ever does, but I wouldn't want to see it as much without his big brother popping in and out.

However, it'd be alot better without that "Sit" crap, pretty much ruins an episode each time she does it.

Yup; I watched it on Toonami as well. Sadly, there are TWELVE DVDs that make up the series, so its pretty expensive. I just own the last DVD, which has the last 5 episodes on it (I found it used for $10 :P).

Azumanga Daioh is funny and random as well (I love Osaka, she's such a twit ^^). Inuyasha is awesome, and i'm really into Full Metal Alchemist. That's really the only anime's i've seen besides Pokemon, XD. I only recently started watching them but I love 'em already.

If you enjoy Gundam, than I suggest checking out "Mobile Suit Gundam" (which is the original series) or Gundam X...they're MUCH better than Gundam Wing.

See, you can't call those "bad episodes". The one was for health reasons- epileptic seizures are a bad thing, but the one with the guns... ugh... 4Kids is hypoprotective. There isn't a child out there who watches the show that doesn't know what a gun is or hasn't seen one in a movie. The episode was rather plot significant, yet they thought "lyke omfg a gunz0rz!!!!1111oneshift wecantsho dat to kidzzzzz...." =_=;

Pokemon's not the best anime in any respect really... the dubbed version, anyway. If you've nevere heard of/seen the Japanese dubs, you lost your point. :tongue:

Miyazaki movies far surpass any anime series out there today. They've got so much more depth, and they're very beautiful films.

My personal favorite is Mononoke Hime (Princess Mononoke). His most recent, Howl's Moving Castle, was pretty good, but certainly nowhere near his greatest work.

I kinda agree that pokemon is a never ending, same concept anime, but is creatures talking to humans better than creatures talking to other creatures?

Where did you get your information. This sounds intresting.... I hope it is much better than season four. Season 4 was total garbage. Season 3 and 1 were pretty good. Season 2 Pwned all.
