I can believe it if there are more of these, but I couldn't find one.

I think the best song ever written is Suburbia, by Butch Walker. The lyrics are so well-written, and the music is phenominal.

I think some of the best songs ever written are:

Ironic by Alanis Morrisette
100 Years by Five for Fighting
Jesus of Suburbia by Green Day

Well, everyone has different tastes in music so I don't think there can be one definite "best song ever".

But, some of my personal best songs are probably Coma (Guns N' Roses), Welcome to the Jungle (Guns N' Roses), the Immigrant Song (Led Zeppelin), Run To The Hills (Iron Maiden) and Back in Black (AC/DC). I recommend these songs to anyone who likes good old fashioned hard rock. :ninja:

That's an impressive list you have X. Great songs there...

One of the best, to go with the rock theme, is Stairway to Heaven, by Led Zeppelin. It's a classic, and brilliant.

There's also songs like...

Smells Like Teen Spirit - Nirvana
Bullet With Butterfly Wings - The Smashing Pumpkins
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
Aerials - System Of A Down
Schism - Tool
The Drapery Falls - Opeth

It really depends on the style you want.

It is impossible to define the best song ever.

I would have to say Bittersweet Symphony. I have never met a single person who doesn't love that song

Ironic by Alanis Morrisette

Isn't it ironic...how there's no irony in that song...

Seriously, that song just showcases bad luck, not irony.
