Here are some examples of my work. I have made tons of banners, but these three in particular are my favorites. I use Adobe Photoshop CS for all of my projects.

Out of curiosity, how is it even possible for you to be the best banner maker, or even be close to far away from being one of the best if you don't even know what stocks and renders are? I mean, renders are the actual pictures that you've got the banner focusing on. It's wierd that you could be so experienced and make such great banners without knowing those kinds of thing. Also, may we see some examples of your banners? I want to see how you're doing them, so I can see if you're ready for a request.

Hmm.... that sentence also caught my attention. Eveything Skarmory said is true. A Render IS a banner. Its the imaginationand & fun factor. Without it, a banner really... isnt a banner. Take my MK banner for instance.

What is the first thing you noticed? Lemme guess...Scorpion and Sub-Zero right? As you can see, this isnt my best. Took me like 10 mins when I was in a rush....

Actually, a lot of people use shops to talk aboutthe owner's skills and such. I'm sure you wouldn't be so defensive if I was praising your work, but I figure there's nothing wrong with accepting public help. We're all trying to get better, right? Heck, I've still got a long ways to go before I'm one of the best.
