Generation 7 is my favorite, but thats probably because the games are all still new to me.

Generation 7 has been kind of disappointing, you could make a case for any of the other gens, except maybe Gen 1. I'm feeling the SNES/Genesis era right now because I've been playing Sonic, Mario World and Chrono Trigger a lot, but I'm gonna have to go with N64/PS1. Ocarina, Spyro, old Madden, Mario 64, you can't go wrong.

Gens 1 (GO PONG!), 4 - 7

Out of all, Gen 6

New found technology doesn't make the games of generation 7 any better, but I applaud their effort

I'm gonna have to go with Generation 5. The Nintendo 64 was, and always will be my favorite system.
It's not that todays video games are'nt amazing, the graphics are insanely real, but N64 just brought a whole new style of video game, and continued the already greatly popular series of the SNES. (Mario, Super Mario Kart) I mean it brought games like Pokemon Snap, Stadiums 1 and 2, and we can't forget Kirby, right?
Plus, it brought Zelda: Ocarina of Time. (I've never acually owned the game, but I've played it a bit at a friend's house)
Generation 7 seems to lack originality IMO.

Generation 5 is the reason why I still play games to this day, so I would have to say it's that one for me.

SNES was the first I played on and still my favourite, got some good memories from that console.

Generation 7 era is tthe worst generation of gaming for me. They have all these games with great graphics, and sound, but horrible game play. It is so hard for me to enjoy games today.

Generation 4 was good, Generation 5 era was outstanding, and Generation 6 was "okay."

Playstation 1: Metal Gear Solid 1, Gran Turismo 1, Gex series, Froger 1, Crash Bandicoot 1, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, Crash Team Racing, Spyro the Dragon, Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!, Spyro: Year of the Dragon, Yu-Gi-Oh! Forbidden Memories, Oddworld Oddyesee Oddworld Exduis, Tekkin 3, Twisted Metal 1, Twisted Metal 2, Twisted Metal 3, Twisted Metal 4. And More I haven't mention.

N64: That Star Wars Racing game, Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Donkey Kong series, Kirby Dream Land.

Game Boy Color: Pokemon Gold, Pokemon Silver, Pokemon Crystal, Kirby (that game you move around with your Game Boy).

Playstation 1 will always be the best game system I have ever played before in my life.

Another person that actually knows about Tilt'n'Tumble?! That game's AWESOME.

I could've gone for any of the last three, but I picked Gen 5 simply because it's the one that got me into video games.

I have to go old school with SNES/Genesis. So simple and so fun, and so many memories.

Generation 5.

It was when I started, and I still think those consels have a lot of the best games around.

Sadly I don't have a n64. I really want one though. :(

So far, the latest Gen. Athough I have memories with the PS1 and PS2, the PS3 so far has given me MGS4 which remains my best video game experience.

As far as specific games, KOTOR and ME are my absolute favorites and they idealize these last two generations.

Overall though, Generation 5 gets it for me.

The Nes Gen is by far my favorite. I still have the original nintendo and wouldn't trade it for any of the newer stuff. Though the PS1 & PS2 holds a special place in my heart. Plus, I wish I had a SNES.

Sadly, only a few of the newer games interest me.
