Sorry, if the question confuses some people. What I'm trying to ask is if you listen to music that is a lot older/younger than you are. Here is an example, I listen to The Police and Aerosmith, which are both bands that have a lot of songs that are a lot older than I am, since I am only a high school student. Examples would be greatly appreciated.

Some classical music is really great. And don't get me started on the songs in the second half of last century.

But I listen more to songs nowadays than everything else put together. Far more. :P

I love me some Elvis. Frank Sinatra's not bad either. ;D

In other words... Yes. I do listen to music from a different era.

Classical music is pretty awesome... some of it. :X

I do, but not everyday; I have my splashes of it every once and a while.

In the past, before I heard my ever first J-pop genre music, I lived on listening to the Oldies

They were my crack and cocaine back then :P

Men at Work are pretty awesome.

I listen to Queen, Metallica, so yeah, music that's older than me.
I also listen to Nirvana, but since it's only within 5 years older than me, I count it as semi-current.

I listen to 70s-90s rock like G'N'R, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and AC/DC

I sometimes do as your answer.

Duh. My favourite song is as old as I am, and I listen to some Led Zeppelin, Madonna, (her old stuff), Blondie, and other random songs from before my birth.

I hate - with all of my little black heart - the music on the radio today. *gags at it*

I listen to a lot of oldschool rock WAY before my time. Iron Butterfly, Led Zeppelin, Def Leppard(sp), Motorhead(Can't figure out the accented characters), a lot of good sh*t.
