Boo, I might not be available then. Can't you make it a few hours later ....

07-06-2005, 01:48 PM
This should be fun, it's been awhile since I did anything in the URPG. By the way, what is 1PM EST in GMT?

07-06-2005, 01:53 PM
EST is -5 of GMT, I think.

But you should check all the same.

07-06-2005, 02:47 PM
Woot! I can finally participate, I finally have AIM!

My screen name is masterlan6

07-06-2005, 03:25 PM
Sorry Mike, I'm not changing it this year, you'll just have to try your best to get there.

No hints.

07-06-2005, 04:33 PM
Crap, just realized, I'm on vaction then... :dazed:

Yet another event that I miss...

07-06-2005, 05:45 PM
I suck at time zones and am too lazy to look it up. What would be the time in Mountain Time? I'm not sure if I can make it. It would be helpful if I knew the pokmon so I could put this on my high priority list or not.

07-06-2005, 05:47 PM
I think Mountain... is -2 of EST.

So, 11 AM.

EDIT: It's 1:45 EST right now... do the math, xD

07-06-2005, 05:52 PM
Mountain is also -7 GMT, just for reference :p

07-07-2005, 09:35 AM
Meh, it's obvious all the refs are gonna get most of the stuff with their uber large ref checks. You might as well just give them all the Poke's now to save time.

07-07-2005, 11:06 AM
Maybe everyone else will get lucky. it seems already some of the refs either can't tell time or be their(No offense i'm JK) but even if they could certain things the rrefs can't bid on. O rI could walk away with a cheap deal on max potions. Who knows. maybe even everyone who goes gets a free Poke'ball complimets of the useless items bureua.

07-07-2005, 12:09 PM
You're the only person I've seen use potions. I have like...$2,650. I doubt I will be participating, are we allowed to just come to watch? That'll be fun, just watching people throw out 20,000, which I will never have.

07-07-2005, 01:52 PM
Sadly I'm afraid I almost definitely won't be participating. Just when I've decided to be more active too. I'm going camping with my dad this week so unless I can get a connection while I'm away I won't be at the auction. Still, I only have $8,500 anyway.

July 9th, huh? I think I might show up despite only having a small amount of money.

07-07-2005, 09:35 PM
Oh crap! My computer's down.

07-07-2005, 09:46 PM
Count me in JT. Velly's $20,000 Aerodactyl was the highlight las time. XD

07-08-2005, 06:43 AM
Its just not fear, I sawed up more than 23 k, but now, after an hour, Im leaving for a month.

07-08-2005, 01:50 PM
It would be cool if they put a surfing pikachu in the auction. It would know all the noraml attacks + surf and could learn all the water tms. it proably wouldn't be good, but it'd make sweet bragging rights

07-12-2005, 03:07 PM
The date was changed to the 16th. You didnt miss it.

07-13-2005, 11:38 AM
I might be able to make it. What time is it? I live whaere it is GMT-5

07-13-2005, 11:54 AM
I believe the auction is still 1:00 EST

Here is a search for my city: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/city.html?n=419

It says that I'm usually EST, which is -5:00, but since we're in daylight savings time, I'm in EDT, which is -4:00. So we'll have to figure out if We're dealing with EST or EDT, considering the fact that whoever made the time didn't take the time to realize that, at the moment, those that are normally EST are EDT.

1pm eastern time so that be noon here.

07-16-2005, 03:27 PM
I've never been to one of these so I have a question. How exactly do you join in on the auction? Will we be invited to a chat, or will there be a specific chat we have to join ourselves?

No, it happens on the fourm. YOu might want to skim though the auction room thread and chack it out.

07-16-2005, 03:39 PM
Weird, the first page of this thread says it is happening on AIM.

07-16-2005, 04:11 PM
It is on AIM! i repeat it is on AIM! you will be invited. don't ask me why don't ask me how but you'll be invited whether you like it or not

07-16-2005, 04:20 PM
Massive auctions like these have always been on AIM. I doubt they'd even work on the forum.

Meh, I'm sure JT will make sure everyone's invited.

07-16-2005, 06:22 PM
Well it's over i got a zangoose for 4.6k

07-16-2005, 06:29 PM

Skarmory (6k, Me!)
Metagross (11.6k Chaos)
Milotic (12k, Phoenix)

Skitty (7K, Me!)
Slowpoke (Defense, 8,600)
Blissey (14,300)

07-16-2005, 07:17 PM
****, I would have been around last weekend...

This is the second massive auction that I missed because of scheduling conflicts.

07-16-2005, 07:23 PM
Yea, Yea. I know about I'm gonna be called a Snorlax humping panda for the rest of my Pe2k Life now. Sorry, but my computer has always had spyware problems and stuff. Even after I reformated it. So, it kind of had a heart attack and died.

Thanks for taking control, Dux.

Loyal Arcanine
07-16-2005, 08:19 PM
And since Dux forgot, I'll just state that I was the one who got Blissey.

07-16-2005, 09:28 PM
