The Sprite Mixers Showcase

Well, there wasn't many sprite mixer threads around in this forum, so I decided to make one. Anyone can showcase there mixes here. No matter how bad or how many they have. Also we want to hear from other people to see what they think. But constructive criticism only. So to start it off heres my own mix (also my first) of Aggron+Tyranitar+Blastoise.

Heres my rating for your original sprite Yami

1/10. no offense but when I first saw it i wa swondering why you had it their. it looks just like a normal Aggron. No offense. just saying.

Very sady, I'd have to agree with you. All I did was slap on a couple things. :oops: I am trying to make it better.

I'm the last one that should be telling you this but 1/10 stars. No offense but it's a bit edgy and the shading varies to much. Smooth it out and make the shading vary less and they might be some OK sprites. In other news I finished that mix I was working on. (it's not much of a mix but what else would you call it?)

Thankyou for actually telling me what i could do to improve. in my thread no one replied. i'll work on it, but with the program i'm using it's really hard because i have very few colors to work with on shading and the graphics are really bad. but i'll try to do what u said and post them again when i'm done. what program do you use?

i use paint which isn't too bad. I learned a lot from one of the threads that was stickied on this page. Heres my second succses. my first is my avatar.

The top row in each set is my first try. The bottom row in each set is the sprites after I tried to fix what everyone thought could be better.

A week is the limit-when it becomes an old thread.
But D.2 never just says somethings wrong with it without telling you what it is.
Those sprites are okay,but they're way too dark :tongue: 5/10

Should I use lighter colors or brighter colors?

EDIT: it could just be your computer, because they don't look too dark to me.

Lighter,not brighter.Bright can hurt the eyes,I have found out over time.
LOL,yeah its probably just my Mac. unless they're not dark to Defense.2...'cause he also uses a Mac. If he see's them as "not dark" then its just me :tongue:

I've been thinking of making something like this for awhile.... I just wanted motivation to make it, and this did it for me... but I wanted something nice and clean so I made it.
