Just as you would in real life...BTW, this should be in the Roleplay section.
And, Harison...I'll duel ya!

You download Apprentice, and install the Pokémon Patch for it. Build a deck in the Deck Editor, find someone to play against, click their IP into the Program to connect, and have fun :P

Problem is that apprentice is now crappy and alternate programs are popping up like wildfire. And they tend to equal or better apprentice. Maybe it's not such a good idea anymore to use apprentice.

Meh, I still think Apprentice is the best program out there, for any TCG, the only problem Apprentice has is it's lack of pictures, and that's supposedly gonna be changed once the next version is released.
I don't like all those other alternate programs because:
- They only work for one game apiece
- Updates take longer to d/l (especially on 56K)
- Most of them give you no card control
With Apprentice, there are no updates, and if you want to play a different game, you take 5 seconds to d/l the patch and install it. Also, at the moment I don't think there are any alternate programs for playing the PokéTCG out there.

I guess so. Yeah, I use Magic Workstation btw if you're wondering. It's good stuff, but again the slow part comes into play (though everything's slower with my comp for some reason). Meh, updates are just addition of sets anyway.

Meh, IMO, Apprentice sucks for anything but Magic. I would just as quickly do a T1 or RL forum game for Pokémon...

How does "Apprentice suck for anything but Magic", it's the same program except with different cards... =/
Besides if you use something else to play Pokémon then there's no way to make sure your opponent's not cheating.

Hope it's not against the rulesto post these links, if it is, I apologize...
TonyTrainer & JangoFett:
Download Apprentice here:
http://www.magic-league.com/Guides/ApprDownload.php
Make sure you don't get the Patch, get the full download. The download the Pokémon Patch here:
http://www.animeplanetnet.net/pojo533.zip
That patch ivludes all cards up through EX: Team Magma vs. Team Aqua.
Once everything is downloaded, open up the Patch, and take the files there are use them to replace the ones in the Apprentice folder. Then start up Apprentice and see if it's working right, if it is, you should be able to open the Deck Editor and see a bunch of Pokémon cards.
Anyone need help understanding this, or wants help on how to use it, feel free to AIM me.

I don't have AIM so: I've downloaded Appr146 but when I try to install it it says "Invalid Filename".
