View Full Version : Art Update

I kinda abandoned my previous art thread, so I've decided to start up another one. I hope I come here to update this one more often, though I haven't really been working on art much. I have, however, been doing more PokéArt and even better, I actually kinda miss doing requests... Although I never really have the time for them... I guess it just makes me feel a little more accomplished.

Anyway, all my art is posted up at DeviantART.com and I'll be posting selected images from my gallery. If you want to see all of my work, you'll have to view my gallery. All images are posted from oldest to newest. Also, I'll be posting the images so that they are shown in a decent viewing size. If you want to view the full scan, you have to click the image. I also suggest that you read my descriptions of my images before viewing.

My character Theo from a book I am currently writing. If you want more info on my book, pm, im, or e-mail me. It's a fantasy book (I hope to make a whole series), and this character here is one of the many kings.

A red dragon I did up with pastels... I named him Nalakai. I think I do dragons better in pen and ink, like the rest of my work. Though I think I did quite well for something like this. I think my pastel skills are improving.

I really don't know how to explain this one... But it's basically inspired by C.I.B.ORG. I was bored after finishing a final exam at school and finished this. This may not be suitable

A happy Lapras. This I did out of boredom, actually. Then I decided that there was a chance that this could be considered minimalism, though it's a little too simple. So I attempted to enter it into the minimalism art contest. Didn't win, but I'm glad I tried.

Another boredom image. I decided to put it into some use by making this and entering it into the minimalism contest as well. SK said it was excellent, but of course, not good enough. I didn't think it was all too great, but for someone who is lacking computer graphics skills, I think I did quite well.

The above image before the digital editing...

Upcoming PokéART (hopefully)
~A pic or two of Prof. Oak (as himself and whatever you may call my style)
~A pic or two of Blaine (if I can find any decent visual references e_e)
~More pics of Flannery (I have I think 2 so far in my gallery)
~C.I.B.ORG Piloswine (if I ever get around to inking it...)
~Pryce as himself (indeed, I've only done this ONCE)

That's pretty much it as of yet. Also, at the moment, I probably won't do requests unless they're not too complicated. Such as a pic of one of the characters or something. I will however either do art trades or commissions no matter if I am busy or not.

Your art never did cease to amaze me, and this is no exception. I've seen a few of these from you before, but either way, they are, if a little creepy, very amazing.

Why thank you! You've seen some of these before? Are you by any chance on DeviantART or often view my gallery? Just wondering... I always forget who, what, where, when it comes to finding friends and people in more than one place on the net. I always get all confused.

Oh, and here's another pic I just uploaded to DA. I've finally gotten around to doing Professor Oak. Woo.

No, but I've seen some of these from you before in other places on the forum. Oak is very good. Keep up the...eh...creepy work.

Nice work. very creepy. I'm gonna have nightmares. this also means next war season I'm not joining team C.I.B.ORG. to creapy.

Aww, I didn't intend to scare you! Well... maybe just a bit... But maybe not to give you nightmares! I'm sorry. ^^; And C.I.B.ORG actually isn't all that creepy, I just make it seem that way. lol This season, we're actually a pretty nice bunch of people. I'm glad you like my work though. I plan on posting up some less creepy stuff soon.

Sorry, I don't have any art to post today. At least not yet. I might later today though. I'm in the middle of doing some requests for people. Drawing their characters and they're nothing like my traditional style. lol

Well, here's all I have for today, I plan on finishing up another pic of similar style soon. I'll also be doing some tattoos as well, I plan on getting into doing henna.

This is my friend's character, Cassandra. I drew it with a ball-point pen and used Animation Shop 3 and Paint Shop Pro 7 to color it.
