I need help fixing my Team for an upcoming GBA Tournament run at a Pokemon TCG Tournament. Here are the rules:
*Entry Fee: FREE
*One Big / Single Elimination Tournament
*Rounds will be 10-Minutes
*Legal GBA Cartridges are Ruby, Sapphire, Fire-Red, Leaf-Green, & ex Emerald
*3-Pokemon not over Level-50
*No two of the same Pokemon
*Groudon, Kyogre, Rayquaza, Jirachi, Deoxys, Mew, Mewtwo, Ho-oh, Lugia, and Celebi are banned
*No duplicate held items
*Certain Powers (Rest, Recover, ect.) are not allowed after 8 minutes into the match
*"Modified" GBA Cartridges are not NOT allowed
*Judges rulings are final
Here is my current Team:
Physical Sweeper:
---------
Slaking@Choice Band
Jolly Nature
EVs: 252 Att, 252 Spd, 6 HP
Hyper Beam/Return
Shadow Ball
Earthquake
Brick Break
Special Sweeper:
---------
Gengar@Petaya Berry
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 Spd, 252 Sp Att, 6 HP
Giga Drain
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Destiny Bond
Tanklike Annoyer:
---------
Milotic@Leftovers
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 Def, 129 HP, 129 Sp Def
Refresh
Recover
Mirror Coat
Surf
Milotic was basically a filler...I want to put something else in its place. I like my Slaking and Gengar. Following the rules, what is a good Pokemon to use instead of the Milotic? Thanks for you help. :)

I pesonally think you should keep Milotic, give it Hypnosis over refresh and ice beam over mirror coat though (unless mirror coat is working particular well for you). Though for hypnosis you'd have to bread, and I don't know if you'd have enough time to bread for one with bold nature, and decent/good ivs, and then ev train it before the tournament... ...maybe you could try curselax as hes a decent tank (and a good sweeper) if you really want to dump Milotic...

*Good, but stick with Hyper Beam for power. If you wanna be cautious, keep Retrun.
Special Sweeper:
---------
Gengar@Petaya Berry
Timid Nature
EVs: 252 Spd, 252 Sp Att, 6 HP
Giga Drain
Thunderbolt
Psychic
Destiny Bond
* - Works.
Tanklike Annoyer:
---------
Milotic@Leftovers
Bold Nature
EVs: 252 Def, 129 HP, 129 Sp Def
Refresh
Recover
Mirror Coat
Surf
* - Hypnosis over Refresh, but that requires breeding, so... I dunno =(

Milotic is godly. No point in sacrificing it.

the evs you have suck, I suppose theres no chance to change them now, but milotic especially doesnt benefit from the 129, 129, 252 spread. Its too late now, but if you ever want to breed it again, try this spread...
118 hp, 252 def, 58 spec attk, 82 spec def. and a bold nature. evs can be adjusted to benefit spec def more, but you really should concentrate more on def, and with 250 spec attk he can still deal decent dmg. although if you dont want to concentrate on spec attk those evs can go right to spec def. but meh it works for now, hypnosis is a must on milotic, refresh is also pointless because you want the marvel scale boost. and gengar can take any toxics for you.
: P
if you want to skip milotic youre going to need another tank lax works but then you have two normals which may not help you that much....

Yeah I was thinking of Ice Beam over Refresh...I may do that. If anyone knows a better Replacement for my Team...just post here and I will think about it. :)

can you use 6 pokemon but only put 3 into battle.
well either way in 3v3 you are gonna want something to take out pokemon fast. imo sceptile could work, or zapdos with evs focused in spdef and spatk.
a max spdef zappy can wall decently imo. i think max spdef is 306

Well the Legendaries (3 Dogs, 3 Birds, Lati@s) are at lvl. 50 when you catch them. So, I think the only way to do EV Training on them is to use the Action Replay, which is not allowed.

actually you may be able to ev train them.
1. Use vitamins to increase the stats you want to ev train for
2. Train in the stats you want to increase against pokes of the lowest level you can find with macho brace and another poke holding exp share (ex: zigzagoons on the route outside of your hometown)
3. Make sure to not level up.
4. Deposit poke in box. This should make the computer recalculate stats including the ev's you just got.
5. If you have extra ev's that have not been placed yet, use vitamins on some of the not so important stats.

I might try that...but if I do use one of the 3 Dogs, 3 Birds or Lati@s, which one should I use? If I don't go with one...will my Milotic still do good, or should it be replaced?

go with zapdos suicune or raikou, and milotic should be fine i guess. or you could set up your gengar with some wicked jolt support.
put gar with giga drain ice punch tbolt hypnosis
and jolt with sub twave tbolt bp

...why do you need an AR to EV train them? You can do it normally, just like you would for any other pokemon. The level of a wild pokemon shouldn't matter - it'll start off with no EVs.
BTW: To speed up EV training, try setting up a team of 6 pokemon that each give 3 EVs in a stat you want to train, and then ship them off to another game. Trade records, and EV train by fighting them in a secret base. (36 EVs per battle :P). This works even better if you have many other carts to do this with. You could even move the same team over multuiple other games, so you can fight the same team in 2 diff. bases.
