Battle Island

Battle Island the name says enough. It is an unknown island. Only a few trainers, coordinator, and breeders know about this place. Battle Island chooses only ten trainers, ten coordinator and ten breeders. The people that choose these trainers, coordinator and breeders are the teachers that live on the island.

Battle Island School

Battle Island School is the place where everyone on the island lives. It is a very large school made up of five large building. One building is for trainers, one is for coordinators, one is for breeders and one is for the teachers. The fifth building is a placed where the student can get their meals (it's two stores the first floor is where they store items and have the dining hall and the second floor is the place where they can class). They have class both mostly outside since the weather is usually nice. They use the fifth building if the weather is bad such as blazing heat and thunderstorm. The fifth building can be used anytime but the teachers rather teach outside.

The faulty group for the trainers is made up of eight teachers. To pass and graduate this school you have to defeat all eight teachers. It is similar to the normal league rules (eight gyms with a specific type). Their name will be on the “Wall of Battle Island School Trainers.” When a trainer leaves, the teachers will choose a new trainer to join the school.

The faulty group for the coordinators is made up of three teachers. The teacher might be part of a different faulty group such as the one that teaches trainers or breeders. To pass and graduate you have to have five school ribbons and defeat the tree teachers in a contest battle. They can get a ribbon by winning contests. It is usually between the ten students. They have the usual two rounds. The three teachers will act like judges. When they get five ribbons they are aloud to battle three teachers in a contest battle. The judges for their contest will be named before the contest. If the student can defeat all three teachers in a contest battle then he or she can graduate. The people that graduate will be on the Wall of Battle School Coordinators. When a coordinator leaves the Island, the teachers will choose a new coordinator to join the school.

The faulty group for the breeders is made up of two teachers. The teacher might be part of a different faulty group such as the one that teaches trainers or coordinators. To pass and graduate, you will have a pokemon that need your care for a week. The teachers will watch how you take care of the pokemon during the day and at night they want you to take descriptive notes on what you do during the night before you sleep. They will read the notes that the student made and the notes they made. Then they will judge whether or not you can graduate. Their name will be on the Wall of Battle Island School Breeders. When a breeders leaves, the teachers will choose a new breeders to join the school.

Basic Student Rules:
-Do not steel Pokemon
-Do not borrow other student’s pokemon (even if they say you can)
-Do not cheat
-You can catch wild pokemon on the island during your free time
-You can have up to ten pokemon will you but you can only bring six of your pokemon

Trainer rules:
-You must defeat the basic teachers in order to pass and graduate
-You can have up to ten pokemon but you can not bring more than six pokemon to class
-Trainer class in five days a week

Coordinator rules:
-You must receive five school ribbons

---------------------------Two rounds in each contest
-------------------------------------- -One is the appeal round when all the coordinator will participate
-------------------------------------- -The last round is the contest battle when the chosen four students
--------------------------------------------------- -The four students will be pair up. The winners of the two pairs will battle each other, who ever win will get the ribbon

Breeder Rules:
-You must take care of a pokemon if you are ready
-YOU MUST TAKE NOTES ON WHAT YOU DO AT NIGHT OR THEY WILL NOT PASS YOU
-You will receive an egg if ready
-Raise it till it hatch then raise the baby pokemon for a week

Sat-Sun: It is the time when Trainers can challenge their teachers
Sun: It is the pokemon contest

Pokemon Basic: A class where all students learn about pokemon basics such as the different types, the different ability (Blaze, Levitate, keen eyes that ability) and so on

Basic Pokemon Care: a class where all students learn about basic pokemon care such what you do when your pokemon is sick, what kind of berries are good for them, and so on

Legendary pokemon history: a class where all students learn about legendary pokemon

Trainer class: a class for trainers. The teachers help improve the trainers ability to train pokemon and teach the trainers how to teach a new move to their pokemon.

Coordinator class: the teachers will teach the coordinators ways to make a pokemon look good during a contest and how to make pokeblock/poffins.

Breeder class: It like an advance version of basic pokemon care class. They learn how to make homemade pokemon food/medicine, raise a pokemon egg and how to raise a newborn pokemon.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

It is opening day and all the students have arrived and started to go to their rooms to unpack their stuff. As the student were unpacking, the teachers were getting ready for opening day.

Hoshi walked out of the teachers’ dorm. She had her favorite black t-shirt with a lighting bolt, along with a brown vest and yellow skirt. She didn't really look like a teacher but most of the teacher here doesn't. Her Pikachu, Star, and her Raichu, Sparky, were following Hoshi. Hoshi was walking toward the Fifth building. She saw none of the teachers there. She sighed and walked inside the building to retrieve a banner to put up on the Fifth building and a ladder. The Banner said “Welcome Students.” She threw a pokeball in the air. The pokeball released her Beautifly, Jewel.

“Jewel can you help me put this up,” Hoshi asked. Jewel nodded and grabbed an end. As Hoshi climbed up the ladder, Jewel flew up to hold the banner up. Hoshi attach her end on the left side of the building. Her two electric pokemon sat on the ground and watch.

“Okay Jewel hold that end just a little longer,” Hoshi said as she moved the ladder to the rights side. She took the banner from Jewel’s hands and attached it on the right side of the building. Hoshi and Jewel went down and back up to see the banner.

“I think it's even… what do you think, guys,” Hoshi asked. All three of her pokemon tilted their heads and shrugged.

“You guys are no help,” Hoshi said as she looked at it more.

As Alex excited the boat that had brought him to the Pokemon academy he took 2 Pokeballs out of his pocket and threw them in the air, the Pokeballs then rapidly opened and sent out a bright red light that materialized into a tall yellow human like Pokemon with a large mustache and two spoons in its hands, And a small black Pokemon that had two diamonds as eyes, and a rectangular ruby with a small scratch in its chest. As the two Pokemon came out of their Pokeballs. two more pokemon came running, one of them was a small red, kid like pokemon that had small legs and thus tripped a lot. The other pokemon was slightly bigger than the first and looked like a small person with three spikes at the top of its head.

Alakazam, Sableye, Magby, Tyrogue come on. Alex looked down at a sheet of paper he had in his hands. Ok i think we have room 7 lets go unpack. then there is a meeting at the fifth building where we will be given or schedules for the year.

Alex suddenly shifted from happy to sad in a second as he saw that all pokemon had to be in their balls during the meeting, but Alex had forgotten Tyrogue and Magby's balls at home since he hardly ever used them. Ok guys i think you are going to have to stay in my room today. Alakazam i leave you in charge of the pokemon while im at the meeting. He said while he walked towards room number 7 to unpack and maybe get some rest before the meeting

Ruby got off the boat to the island. She had her nidoran(f) next to her it cried out as it was tired from the trip. She returned it to its pokeball and said, "take a nap nido." She was quite tired to she did not sleep much on the boat when she went to sleep she kept having dreams about her fight with roark and how her inexperience as a trainer almost got her torchic seriously injured. She finally found her room it was room number seven. She went in her room and changed into her favorite outfit a black hat red shirt and black pants. Then she left for the meeting. On her way there she let her magnemite out of its pokeball. It scanned the island as they walked to the meeting. Ruby asked magnemite ok you have to find the best places to train and to take naps while we are here I guess. Though she really did not want to be here. She had given up on training pokemon.

Hayato walked off the boat, taking his time and enjoying the beauty all around him. He walked towards the trainer dorm with one single bag slung over his shoulder. "Alright shuck, we have room two. You ready for this?" A small rubber neck and head poked up from behind Hayato's collar. The head lovingly rubbed itself up against the side of Hayato's face. He just smiled at the reaction he got and walked straight into the dorm. He reached into his poket and threw three pokeballs into the air. A bright burst of light ended in three pokemon waiting for their commands. "Alright we're here. Metagross you and Porygon-Z start setting up the room. Swampert you keep an eye open for anyone else trying to get in here." A small red and blue pokemon turned around, floating in the air, and started to move clothes out of Hayato's bag and set them out using the move psychic. A large blue pokemon on four legs and a giant gray X on its face left the room to go move the furniture of the boat into the room. A blue pokemon with orange fins just as tall Hayato moved over to the bed and plopped down turning to watch the door. "Alright be good, me and shuckshuck are going to get to the meeting." The swampert just lazily nodded but the porygon-Z whizzed and buzzed happily and floated around Hayato until he left the room.

[Lady Of The Lake]

Sarah stomped of the boat already angry. All the people on the boat didn't look or remind her of anyone from home. "Gosh it is so hot here. I can't belive people can live in this condition" Sarah told Froslass as she called her Frosslass back into her pokeball. Sarah walked off the dock. "I hope my room fits my style." Sarah said as she walked to her dorm. "Nice I Got Room number 10. Lets see what do we have here. Ewww yellow blinds thats got to go." Sarah said ashshe ripped off the blinds. There sarah sat at the desk in her room, she pulled out a peice of paper and began to write to her mom. Sarah had just finished writeing her mom and noticed that there was going to be a meeting. Sarah happily ran out of her room and called out her Frosslass. A red beam shot out as the pokeball opend "Come on. there's a meeting but were not suppose to have our pokemon out. To bad i don't care, haha." Sarah told her Frosslass with a smirk on her face.

Luca sighed as she got off the boat.

"Troublesome..." she groaned quietly, hoping no-one heard her. "It's so hot...I hope they have a swimming pool." she mumbled. In her arms, Buneary was sweating from the heat. She looked at a notice board conveniently placed near the dock.

"Room 05 in Co-ordinators? Sounds interesting..." Luca said to herself, and noticed a large building not too far from the docks. Walking to it, she noticed a teacher putting up a sign, then asking her Pokemon what they thought of it.

"Not Bad." Luca remarked. She walked off to the Co-ordinator dorm, and found Room 05. Luca packed out her clothes, and looked around. The tan carpet was soft on her feet, and the walls had been painted a nice shade of green. The bed was in the middle of the room, with the desk at the very side of it. A large window was on the wall next to the desk. Remembering a Meeting was going on, she ran out. On the way she bumped into a girl with pink hair.

Once the boat was safely docked, and tied securely, Beatrix, with her Vaporeon, and Arbok either side of her made their way down the steps slowly. Placing her bag down on the wooden dock, she raised her arms above her head to stretch out - still rather tired from the long journey where she had simply slept against the railings of the vessel.

"Not bad...beautiful weather..." she noted quietly, before turning towards the large cobra Pokemon beside her - it's purple scales were slimy with sweat, and it was hunched over rather uncomfortably.
"Poor Arbok, the heat is gonna dry you up" Beatrix quietly sighed, reaching up to pat the creature on it's head, before withdrawing an empty Pokeball from her bag, and pointing the sphere towards the fearsome snake.

"Chaaaar....bok..." hissed Arbok, as the small red beam engulfed it, and it willingly returned to it's confines. Replacing the Pokeball in her bag, Beatrix reached down to lift it once again, and motioned towards the four-legged cyan Pokemon to follow her - it obediantly began to trot at her side, swishing it's mermaid tail as it basked in the pleasant heat.

"The ocean is beautiful, is it not?" Beatrix posed the question down towards the water Pokemon, offering it a brief quirk of her lips as it dipped it's head politely in response, before turning it's deep gaze towards the vast beach. "I am certain you and Starmie shall enjoy it immensely, and I can't wait to see all the different kinds of water Pokemon!.

Stepping down from the wooden docks, the duo began to traverse the stretch of beach that separated the docks, and the faculty buildings. Two sets of footprints mapping their route as a tropical breeze stirred the young blonde trainer's hair.

Glancing down towards her companion once again, Beatrix tilted her head slightly as she observed Vaporeon watching the ocean waves crash against the shore longingly.
Shaking her head slowly, she regretfully spoke to the Pokemon. "Sorry...no swimming yet... she paused, withdrawing her acceptance letter from her pocket, and holding it to show Vaporeon what it said "We've got to find our room, and then report to a meeting...but after that, I promise I'll bring you here to play...okay?"

Vaporeon made a face, something resembling a frown before it nodded in understanding, and curled it's body in a feline-esqe motion around Beatrix's legs, who simply smiled, and lifted her bag onto her back, and picked up the Pokemon in both arms. It made a quiet purring sound, before it's dark eyes slipped closed comfortably before Beatrix resumed crossing the beach.

Around 20 minutes later, Beatrix had checked herself in, and retrieved her room key- and was climbing the stairwell in the trainer's dormitory. For registration, she had recalled the sleeping Vaporeon to it's Pokeball, and stored it safely with her other Pokemon. Treading slowly along the hallways, she scanned each room number until she reached "9", glancing down at her key, before slipping it into the keyhole and unlocking the door before closing it behind her.

"Not bad...it's not home...but it shall suffice..." she observed with a hum, placing her bag down atop the single bed, and unzipping it to retrieve her eight Pokeballs, and carrying them across the room to set atop the desk, though glancing back towards her belongings, she tapped the button on one of the red and white spheres lightly to release the Pokemon inside it.

With a subtle flash of light, the ball clicked open, and out emerged a round, pink Pokemon carrying an egg in a pouch at it's belly.
"Bliss...Blissey!" it cried out happily, immediately raising it's arms to hug it's beloved trainer - not having seen Beatrix in several hours, at the port before docking the boat that brought them here.
"Hey Blissey..." smiled Beatrix, awarding the Pokemon an affectionate pat on it's soft head. "I have to go to a meeting, for school. Remember me telling you?"
"Blissey, Bliss!" replied Blissey, finally releasing Beatrix from it's grip and nodding in recollection of Beatrix's briefing with her Pokemon back at home, informing them of where they were going, and what they were going to do.
"Good, well while I'm gone, could you keep an eye on everyone? Don't want them to be letting themselves out and worrying".

Blissey simply nodded in response, and locked it's trainer's leg in another hug - waving one arm as Beatrix picked up her letter to tuck into her pocket, and left the key atop the dresser next to the Pokeballs before exiting the room, and making down the hallway as Blissey began to unpack, and neatly fold her clothing.

Koutetsu walked into his room in the teacher's dorm and walked over to his dresser. He grabbed the towel loosely hanging off the top and wipped his bare torso. Training never made him tired, but it always made him sweaty. He tossed of his clothes carelessly behind him, and started to get dressed into a plain gray suit. The clothes landed ontop of a large steel pokemon that looked like a moving table. "Meta, Metagross, Meta" Koutetsu turned around as he was slipping on his tie as a rather peeved metagross was looking back at him. "Sorry bud, I'll be more careful next time. But look, I need to go to the meeting and you're too big to be let out, so I'm going to leave you here and I'll be back as soon as i can." The metagross looked at him sad that he couldn't follow his best friend. Metagross lifted one of its large legs and started to stomp on the ground. The entire building started to shake, and he knew everyone could feel it."Come on Meta. Look if you stop and behave I'll polish you and we'll go for a hot soak." The metagross finally started to calm down and Koutetsu rubbed his friends head and walked outside.

Koutetsu walked outside and reached into his shirt poket and rummaged through it for a bit. He pulled out a pokeball that quickly expanded to the size of a baseball. He opened it up and a white light came out and formed a large bird. "Skarmory, Skar, Skar." A large metal bird covered with armor and sporting metal feathers, walked over to him and Koutetsu petted the side of its face. Hey, I need you to fly me over to the fifth building. The skarmory nodded and Koutetsu silently mounted his metal, flying steed. He was flying high enough to see all that was happening. Students slowly walking off the boat, seemingly one at a time, a few students leaving and entering the dorm, one walking down the beach, and one of the teachers hanging up a banner. Koutetsu flinched when he saw the other teacher. He was too busy training that he forgot about helping to set up. Skarmory landed on the ground and Koutetsu dismounted, taking the pokeball out and making the skarmory return. He walked to the bottom of the ladder and started to apoligize for being late and asking for what he could do.

[Lady Of The Lake]

"Whoa watch out. You could have killed me" Sarah screamed at her faced turned red. Sarah got back up." Frosslass began to get angry.Frosslass calm down i got this. Do you know how i am, my mother is a gym leader, if I was injured my lawyers would have been all over you." Sarah screamed as she got all in her face. "I’m Sarah remember that name, or I obliterate you." Sarah joked. Come on let’s get walking to the meeting; Sarah and the mystery girl began walking and talking. "So who are you? Sarah questioned as she began to calm down."

Hayato watched silently as a pink haired girl threatened another trainer down the hall. He shook his head as he watched the girl go from angry, to joking, to curious about the other girl's identity in just a few seconds. "Geez, that girl is going to be a handful. I suppose that she's the daughter of a gym leader too, as that's what she said. You know how important that makes her Shuckle." Hayato just rolled his eyes at the obvious display of narcassism. "Shuckle" The mold pokemon silently spoke from inside its shell. "I guess that modesty elludes her, but i guess that girl should have been more careful not to set her off. Look at me here silently judging people with you." Hayato sighed to himself and moved shuckle off his back and into his arms. He petted the shiny blue shell as he walked down the hall, moving his head side to side, looking for someone calm to talk to.

Upon reaching the bottom of the stairwell, the young blonde happened to notice a small argument between two girls - though upon glimpsing at the unfamiliar Pokemon, she tilted her head with interest, before breezing past the two, and further along the hallway, before a quiet, timid sound made her turn.

"Bliss...ey?"echoed the Pokemon's voice, as it peered around the corner, before bounding along to embrace Beatrix - though nestled in it's pouch next to it's prized egg, the red half of a pokeball could be seen.

Unimpressed with the Pokemon's rare show of disobedience, Beatrix folded her arms and shook her head down towards Blissey, who glanced up in confusion at the rarely seen expression worn by Beatrix.

"Blissey..." she admonished sternly, placing her hand atop the pink Pokemon's head, though not in anger as she lightly patted it. "I told you to stay with everybody else..."

Blissey reluctantly released Beatrix's leg, and glanced up towards her with wide, apologetic eyes - smiling faintly as it's trainer patted it's head lightly once again, before reaching into the egg pouch and withdrawing the Pokeball.

"You can come along, but you will have to go inside the Pokeball for the meeting...Alright?"

Jacob was sitting in his room, reading a book all about Suicune. He would probably have sat there for hours if a dark hand hadn't pulled it out of his grip. He looked up in surprise at Nightmare, his Gengar, who was floating in the air, glaring at him angrily.

"What's up, Nightmare," he asked curiously and the ghost siighed in irritation. She floated over to one wall and pointed at the calendar. Jacob quickly scanned the days, looking for today's date and then he found it with a big red ring around a message. Jacob groaned, knowing he only put big red rings around one day. The students were arriving and he had to go to that stupid meeting. Why couldn't one of the teachers just put a message in each of the rooms. That would be much easier. Well, easier for him.

He walked out of his room and yawned loudly. He looked over at building five and wished he had a flying Pokémon. Well, he had Tsunami, his Gyarados but that was the only flying type that couldn't fly. He started walking leisurely towards the building with Nightmare floating behind, making sure he didn't stop and take a nap or something. He soon arrived at building five where he saw Koutetsu and Houshi setting up.

"Nice banner Houshi. I can see you've got this all covered so I'll just wait here for the students," he said, in a half-hearted attempt to get out of any work.

Meanwhile, Team Galactic's Saturn was on the SS Universe, the newly built flagship of Team Galactic, which had been funded by each members hard earned money (Team Galactic is voluntary, so each member had a second job). Saturn was scouting for a location to build Team Galatic's new base, since they had been defeated and kicked out of Sinnoh. As Saturn started to lose hope, he was reported an island was spotted off the starboard. Saturn ordered a dispatch of men to secure the island, and rid it of inhabitants. "I want the island taken by any means necessary!", Saturn ordered, "Team Galactic shall rise again!"


The boat anchored a few miles from the island, to stay out of sight. Team Galactic readied the motor boats, and one by one, they departed for the island. Saturn stayed behind with the ship, in case anything went wrong. Monitoring the mission from afar, Saturn devised a plan for invading the island.

IC: Once the boat was docked, Nite and Howl jumped out. "Nice weather, eh Howl?"."Migh!" The mightyena jumped up against Nite and started begging for some water. "I guess that means its too warm, right?" "Yena!".

Nite walked to the dorms and found his room, then let his other pokemons out, except Quake. "Could you guys help me, please?" "Agg!" responded Crush, who started to unpack the food, and slightly kicked Tyrant, Who fell asleep. "Craw...". "C'mon Tyrant, help me, please? If you do you get an snack!". "Daunt?" "Yep, but you gotta work for it!". "Craw!" Tyrant started to pack out the clothes with one hand an asked for the snack with the other. "Here bud!" Nite threw an fish snack at the claw of Tyrant who quickly ate it.

"Soooo, we got a meeting at the fifth building...I hope it isn't gonna be an boring speech or something like that". Nite and his pokemons finally finished packing out, and Nite opened the door. "Now, where is the fifth building?.........Ah, i see it!" Nite walked in as he saw an girl hanging up an banner and an guy apologizing for being too late.

As Team Galactic closed in on the island, Saturn guided them around to the uninhabited north side of the island. He had a bad felling about the island though. He came to realize that this island was not on an map. For a second he though it was the Hoenn Battle Frontier, but he was sure they had travelled north past Snowpoint. No, this was something else, but what?

Hoshi looked at the guy wearing a gray suit and tie and smiled.

"It's fine. But you can help me get the chairs out. We need 47 chairs I believe," Hoshi said as she grabbed a pokemon from her belt.

"Thank you Jewel," Hoshi said. Jewel nodded. Then Jewel returned to her Pokeball. Then Hoshi climbed down the ladder and looked at the guy in the suit.

"You are Koutetsu Nushi, right," Hoshi asked. Star climbed on Hoshi’s shoulder and Sparky was standing next Hoshi’s right leg. Hoshi noticed a student walked toward them with a tyranitar.

"Young man the meeting won't start for awhile. You can go to the beach or do what ever but you are not aloud to battle and capture pokemon yet," Hoshi said to the student.

Announcement: i'm going to take the ap class and ap teacher away I don't think we need that

Koutetsu nodded as he recieved his instructions and turned towards the building. As he started to unstack chairs, he heard Hoshi telling a new student to leave. "Guess some of these new kids are really excited to get started, or they had nothing better to do." Koutetsu just got at the task at hand. He started by simply picking up a huge stack of chairs, walking to where the chairs needed to be placed, and let the bottom chair drop out of the bottom of the stack. He quickly got all the chairs in their designated spot and finished by placing the final chairs on the stage. He plugged in the microphone and placed it at the edge of the stage. As he put down the microphone he heard Jacob Contell trying to weasel his way out of work. "Could he be any lazier. We're almost done and he can't even spend the time doing the little work left. Koutetsu walked over to Hoshi and looked up at her after taking another disappointed glace at his other co-worker. I finished setting up the chairs and i set up the mic. I can go out looking for the other teachers, or i can round up some of the students and entertain them until its time for the meeting or anything else you would want me to do.

"Luca." She replied, as Buneary rubbed it's head.

"And how long is long?" Nite asked to the girl, While he gave Quake some food. "And do you know where those storage boxes are? i want to give my stored pokemons some air, and i want to let them see the island here. Except my froslass, who would melt here". Nite gave Quake some more food, and stroked Howl.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

Hoshi sighed and rubbed her head. "Oh do what ever you want till the opening day meeting. Oh and for Jacob," Hoshi said.

"Jacob, you lazy teacher, one day you will be awaken by a 100 volt electric attack by a cercain pikach. So I advice you to keep an eye out for something yellow," Hoshi said as she turned to Koutetsu.

"If he ask you if I was joking the answer is I wasn't," Hoshi said as she walked torwards the teacher's dorm.

Koutetsu watched as Hoshi walked away and turned to Jacob. "I'd watch my step if I was you. She seemed serious, and she's not the kind of person I'd mess with. He looked at Jacob completely seriously and asked him a question. You know all about legendary pokemon don't you? Do me a favor and tell me what you know about registeel.

Hayato was walking to the holding place of the meeting, but stopped as he saw a fellow student talking to a teacher. She told him that the meeting wasn't going to be held for awhile and to find something else to do. "Hmm. What are we going to do then? Shuckle brought his head out of his shell and looked straight into Hayato's face. "Shuuuckle" Hayato looked at Shuckle for a second, interpretting what he said. "You want to go look around the island?" Shuckle nodded yes, grateful that Hayato understood him. "I'd be happy to take a tour with you."

Hayato and Shuckle looked at the beauty and wildlife around them. The beautiful beaches, streams, and forest. THe magikarp jumping out of the lake, the seedots and burmys hanging from the trees, all the pokemon living happily in the wild. Hayato looked down at Shuckle with a look of regret. They all seem happy don't they? You sure you wouldn't be happier out there? Shuckle looked back at him shaking his head no with a smile. One of the things Hayato feared is he was holding Shuckle back, keeping him from being truely happy. "I wouldn't be insulted. I just want you to be happy." Shuckle reached over and slightly bit him, something Shuckle only did to tell him he was being rediculous. Shuckle looked into Hayato's eyes, trying to tell him he couldn't be happier with Hayato. He apparently understood and gave Shuckle a hug.

Both pokemon and trainer were sitting on the sand, watching the sea and listening to the waves crash upon the shore. "It's beautiful isn't it? I could sit here and watch these waves all day." Shuckle yawned silently and cuddled up to Hayato's side. He picked up Shuckle and placed him on his lap. Shuckle withdrew into his shell and Hayato silently brushed his hand over the blue shell as he closed his eyes and listened to the sounds of nature.

Jacob looked up at the question from Koutetsu. He knew plenty about Registeel and supposed it wasn't really a surprise that Koutetsu would want to know about the Legendary Golem (the word, not the Pokémon) of Steel.

"Registeel is one of the three golems of Hoenn. Its body is made of a material harder than any metal on Earth but it's also surprisingly flexible. Its body is hollow and nobody knows what it eats or even if it eats at all. According to legend, when Registeel meets with Regirock and Regice, the ultimate golem, Regigigas, will awake," he said without hesitating. "Now is there any specific thing about Registeel you want to know? It's battling stats maybe," Jacob asked curiously. Koutetsu had a love of steel types but surely he wasn't trying to capture Registeel, was he?

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"But excuse me you didn't answer my question," Nite asked. Hoshi turned back to see the student.

"Oh I'm sorry... what was the question again," Hoshi asked. Nite sighed.

"When does the meeting start and were is the storage boxes," Nite asked as he gave Quake some more food.

"Oh well the meeting won't start till every teacher is at the fifth building. And as for the stoage boxes. There are a large pen behind the trainer dorms. For Ghost, ice and any other types that need a dark or cold area to stay, there is a basement in each dorm building made for ghost and ice types. Does that answer your question," Hoshi said.

"Yep thank you Miss..."

"Michiyo. It is nice to meet you..."

"Nite Mare," Nite said.

"Nite Mare? Very interesting name. Until the meeting you can do anything you want as long you do are near the bulidings," Hoshi said as she continue to the teachers dorm with her two electric pokemon. Nite decided to go back to the trainer's dorm to but some of his pokemon in "storage."

Team Galactic speeded towards the island at a break-neck pace. "The plan is going perfectly", thought Saturn to himself. "This will be a cinch." The plan was to take the island from behind. He knew that a frontal attack would be a disaster, as the island was inhabited. He had seen boats dock at the pier, and he knew that the people getting off these boats were trainers. He had the advantage however, becuase each Trainer let thier Pokemon out of thier Pokeballs when they got off, so he clearly saw each one. What he didn't know however, was that these weren't just Trianers....

Meanwhile, as Hayato and Shuckle sat on the sand, he heard the sound of approaching motorboats. As Hayato looked up, he saw a swarm of boats approaching, filled with Team Galactic members.

Koutetsu rubbed his chin for a second and thought what he was going to do next. He really didn't know Jacob that well yet. He seemed like a reliable guy, but he wanted to see what he was really like first before he asked anymore. "Nothing right now, but maybe you would just like to get something to eat and talk before the meeting?

Hayato saw someone heading towards the island, but he couldn't tell who it was. He stood up, Shuckle waking up as they rose. He could make out the people on the boat only because they were very distinctive in their clothing. "That's team galactic. This is trouble, Shuck." They were causing trouble all over the region, they even launched an attack around his home when looking for legendary pokemon. If they were coming to the island that was bad news, he needed to work fast. He couldn't stand there, but he couldn't let them come on the island or they would be able to sneak up on the institute. He had to get help and stall them until it came. He grabbed the other two pokeballs that he had with him when he got off the boat, the rest were probably being taking back to the room with metagross. He really wished he had the others here. "Go, Jolteon. Go Slaking. Thank goodness I had these two." Hayato pulled out a piece of paper and pencil from his pocket. The giant sloth ape pokemon watched his confused as the short lightning dog was shaking with anticapation, knowing Hayato was nervous. "Shuckle use gastric acid on Slaking. Slaking start bulking up and then use amnesia when you're done." Shuckle spewed some green acid on Slaking and it dripped all over its body, causing it to become energized. Slaking, ready for a huge fight took a step back and started to take huge deep breaths and exhaling, muscles bulging with every exhale. Hayato scribbed a note on the paper and folded it up. "Urgent. Team galactic is heading towards the island. Please come to the north side of the beach and assist me. I'll hold them off as long as i can, but i need help immediately. Bring everyone you see on the way over. He folded the paper and tucked it into the collar around Jolteon's neck. "Jolteon, run back to the school as fast as you can and find a teacher. If you can't find a teacher after five minutes grab the nearest student and come back. Jolteon ran into the forest at a breakneck past, leaping over downturned trees and bushes. Hayato turned around and faced Shuckle. I'm sorry, but you're going to have to hold them off until help comes, or Slaking is ready. Shuckle turned to face the boats coming in and readied for battle. "Don't make a move until I tell you, alright Shuckle." "Shuck"

As the boats came in sight of the beach, one of the member's saw a Trainer one the beach.

"Saturn, we've got company! Some kid with a Shuckle!"

"Take him down!", said Saturn back to the walkie-talkie, "If he alerts anyone else to the plan, this might turn into a disaster!"

"Sir, we just saw a Jolteon run off! He has also pulled out a Slaking! He looks pretty tough!", yelled the man back into the walkie-talikie.

"Hold him off! I'm coming over there! You, get the boats ready!"

Saturn boarded the boat, giving command of the boat to his second in command, Pluto(Not to be confused with Charon's Japanese name; this is a different person entirely). He boarded the boat, and as it lowered, pulled out his Pokemon. "Golbat and Toxicroak, go!"

The two pokemon were released from thier pokeballs. They waited for Saturn's commands.

"Golbat! Fly out and assist the rest of the team! Toxicroak, you wait until I give the signal. As soon as I do, take out the boy!

After Blissey's relentless hugging, and affection had begun to wear on her, Beatrix decided to finally escort the pink Pokemon back to her room - though the distinct delay on the meeting was also starting to get on her nerves.

Deciding to take some time for herself following the long boat trip, she placed Blissey's, along with her other seven Pokeballs in a shoulderbag, and locked her room securely. "I think a little excercise for you all would be a good thing after being cooped up for so long..." she mused aloud, stepping back in shock after there was a bright flash, and one of the Pokeballs popped open - emerging her Wobbuffet that rose up on it's feet, and responded with a salute. Waaaaaaabaaaa!".

Beatrix arched a brow towards the Pokemon impatiently, before her facade of annoyance cracked, and she stepped towards Wobbuffet to pat it gently on the head. "I knew you'd agree...somehow..." she chuckled, before recalling Wobbuffet to the confines of it's Pokeball, and setting it with the others before descending the stairs, and exiting southwards towards the beach near the docks.

Though as she was about to tread onto the sand, a Pokemon she identified as a Jolteon came tearing past her, almost knocking her to the floor - though before she could turn around to see it properly, it had disappeared around the corner of a building.
"Hmph...I wonder where the fire is..." she frowned, slipping out of her shoes, placing them in her bag, and rolling up her jeans before taking out one Pokeball at a time, and allowing them to join her on the beach.

"Gengar, Starmie, Weezing, Arbok, Blissey, Wobbuffet, Houndoom and Vaporeon, come and enjoy the sun!" she laughed, as the Pokemon happily began to frolic - with Vaporeon and Starmie making a beeline for the ocean as Beatrix followed them to the shoreline along with the others.

"I know we're here to learn, but what a great opportunity to relax beforehand..." spoke Beatrix, glancing down towards Blissey who stepped with her at one side, and then turning her gaze towards her two water Pokemon before Gengar suddenly materialised before her face with a huge grin plastered across it's face.

"Gengar!" it agreed, before bursting into manic laughter - much to Beatrix's delight as she reached out to poke the ghost Pokemon teasingly. "Seriously...we need to take this seriously, all of us" she smiled, before turning at the shoreline, and beginning to walk around the west side of the beach - each of her Pokemon communicating with one another, but also following their trainer obediently.

As they began to round the north side of the island, Beatrix's eye was caught by several boats floating out in the ocean. Such a sight brought a puzzled expression to her face. "Hmm...I thought this island was private...then again they could be fishing vessels..." she considered aloud, before squinting further down the beach to see a figure, a large Pokemon, and one she could not quite make out standing on the shoreline...

Luca frowned. She had gone onto the beach to swim, but then she saw some people. One had blue hair, and a face she had seen before...

"Saturn?" She asked. She pulled out a Pokéball quietly.

"Bellossom, go." she whispered. The Pokémon came out.

"Use Petal Dance, and then use Razor leaf!" she yelled, capturing the attention of the Team Galactic members. Bellossom hit their ships with the sharp leaves, puncturing a hole in each one - except for one.

Jacob was a little surprised by Koutetsu's offer. They didn't know each other that well. They weren't enemies but Jacob certainly wouldn't have called him a friend.

"Uh, I guess so.Not like there's anything else to do," he answered friendly enough but keeping both eyes glued to Koutetsu's face suspiciously. Something was definitely up and probably had to do with Registeel. Still, the chances of Koutetsu finding the legendary Pokémon were virtually zero. And if Jacob himself found Registeel, he intended to catch it himself. He had searched for legendaries for years, including Registeel for a brief period when he was trying to capture Regigigas.

Jacob decided to just give Koutetsu the benefit of the doubt. Surely he knew better than to try to capture a legendary Pokémon, and even if he did try, what were the chances of succeeding.

Koutetsu smiled at Jacob and decided to take the lead in where they would go to eat. "How about we resume this conversation at..." He was stopped short at the feeling of something pulling on his pant leg. He looked down as there was a small yellow dog with spiked fur tugging the cloth on his leg. "A Jolteon?" Koutetsu picked up the pokemon as Jacob watched him with a curious eye. "What are you doing unattended?" The Jolteon started to bark and Koutetsu saw the note tucked into the lightning pokemon's collar. He picked it out and carefully opening taking a few seconds to read it. He put the Jolteon down as he turned to Jacob. "Go to the loudspeaker and tell all the students to get to there dorms. Get Hoshi and everyone of both your pokemon and meet me at the north side of the island when your done. And bring my Metagross while you're by my room. His pokeball is on the dresser, and he'll be pissed if he misses this." Koutetsu ran off after to Jolteon as Jacob stood for a second, confused about what was written in the note.

Albert smelt the salty sea, as the boat docked, ready for the battle school. Albert stepped off the boat, and went to wherever he was meant to go.

"O...K," Jacob answered unsurly as Koutetsu rushed off. This was obviously serious whatever it was, or else it was just a ploy to get him to do some work. Just in case, he decided to do what Koutetsu had said. He rushed to the loudspeaker and turned it on.

"Attention students. Return to your dorms and stay there," he said, then rushing off to find Hoshi. On his way, he stopped and ran inside Koutetsu's room, remembering his Metagross. He quickly stuffed it into his pocket before heading out to look for Hoshi again. He ran straight to her room in the teachers' dorm to see if she was there and banged on the door loudly.

"Attention students, please resort to your dorm room and stay there." Hayato heard the announcement over the loudspeaker and guessed Jolteon found a teacher to give the message to. That or this was really bad timing and no help was coming at all. But it was odd, he couldn't tell from where he was at but it looked like all but one of the boats stopped. Unfortuanately it looked like the boat was heading his way. The tension was thick, nothing had happened for quite some time. Slaking took a step forward, picking up Shuckle and gently handing him to Hayato. Hayato slipped Shuckle onto his back, under his coat where he would be out of harms way. "I assume that means that you're done with the status moves I told you to run." Slaking turned around and faced Hayato, giving him a thumbs up and turning back to the shore ready for a fight to remember.

"Sir, we can't land on the shore! The kid with a Slaking is keeping us from gaining ground!"

"Hold your positions! Team Galactic will not be humiliated again!", roared Saturn as his boat neared the island.

"We've been hit by a Razor Leaf! Three boats are sunk and two more are sinking!"

"Hold on! I'm almost there!"

As Saturn rolled in he saw the chaos insuing many of the boats were sunk, forcing the crews to swim to the beach. Shuckle had also jammed many of the motors on the boats, and anyone that managed to land on the beach was quickly takin out by a very large and clearly angry Slaking. Even Golbat was struggling to hold it's ground against the behemoth of a Pokemon.

"It's time Toxicroak! Go and take out that Slaking!"

"Slaking use thunderpunch on the golbat." Slaking's massive fist sung out, colliding straight into the torso of the golbat. The Golbat was thrown back, but it caught it balance and started to fly off the shore. The rest of the members of team galactic backed towards the shore. "Take the operunity and use slack off." Slaking sat down on the sand for a second and took a deep breath. A boat pulled up to the shore. The obvious leader of the assult stepped off the boat, with a blue pokemon. The pokemon walked slowly towards Slaking, ready for a fight. The pokemon looked like a bipedial frog with two large red claws at the end of its hands. Slaking stood up waiting for what to do next. "It looks like one on one, I'm surprised that you actually decided to play fair. Come on then, let's see what you got."

"So your the kid who fought off my minions! You'll pay for that! Toxicroak, Poisonjab!

The purple frog lept through the air and jabbed at Slaking relentlessly. Slaking however, could not land a hit. Toxicroak was too agile. Slowly, Toxicroak wore down the Slaking.

Meanwhile, sinister-looking Galactic bombs were unloaded from thier crates as Pluto watched. Saturn had told Pluto to detonate the island if Team Galactic lost. The bombs were his bargaining chip. If they refused to give up, Saturn planned to destroy every building on the island. As the bombs were loaded onto the boat Pluto reviewed the plan with the rest of the minions. While Saturn cuased a distraction at the north beach, a bomb would be set in every building. Then, all the minions would get out of range of the island. Then, with a press of a button, Saturn would set them off.

"Slaking, wait for him to land another hit, then counter. He's not too agile that he may dodge as he attacks." Toxicroak rushed in and got in another poison jab, but as soon as he did, a gargantuan fist hit him, throwing it back into the sand. "Slack off, we can't let up here." The toxicroak got up, and dashed forward for another attack. A yellow blur came dashing out of the forest. A quick jolt was delivered to the toxicroak, and he immediately became paralized.
A cloud of dust dispersed and Jolteon appeared at Hayato's side. "Looks like at the very least he brought me my back up. That and with Toxicroak down to speed, Slaking is going to smack you around a bit." Hayato took the pokeballs out of the bag Jolteon brought back. He threw them so the surrounded Saturn. Swampert, Porygon-Z, and Metagross appeared and turned to Saturn angerly ready to fire. "No one move or your boss gets it. And you, you're not fast enough to outspeed even one before another one fires something off. You're trapped at this point, teach you to plan alittle bit better. Slaking and Hayato turned to face each other grinning at each other. "Slaking, it looks like you get to return the favor for Toxicroak getting in all those poison jabs." "SLAAAAKIIINNGGGGG."

"Well, it seems you have won against me.", said Saturn, "but it's too late." Our patented Galactic bombs have been set in all the buildings. It wouldn't be wise to cross us. Surrender or else this island will be blasted to smitherens!"

As Beatrix watched the battle between the behemoth Slaking and the swift Toxicroak, she began to move closer and closer as the larger Pokemon was declared the victor - though upon the threat of the island being bombed by Team Galactic, she decided that it was time to act fast, and offer aid.


"Gengar! Use Hypnosis on them all!" she ordered, as the purple ghost Pokemon disappeared, before reappearing above the Galactic boats, and beginning to utilze it's powerful sleep attack.


"Gennnngar...."

Koutetsu ran after the Jolteon as it ripped across the terrain. The Jolteon stopped and turned around, running into the trainer's dorm. Koutetsu ran if after the Jolteon, but he lost sight of the dog. It appeared a second later with a bag in its mouth. Koutetsu raised his brow and looked at the dog. "Ok... I can only follow you, so go take me to where we need to go." They both headed for the exit as they passed student after student. Finally as they reached the exit they saw men in black uniforms with blue hair. Koutetsu and Jolteon stopped, realizing what the men were carrying. "Go Lucario." A steel coated jackel flew out of Koutetsu's pokeball and force palmed the members of team galactic before they could react. All the men were paralyzed and fell over. "Go back to your trainer, if something goes horribly wrong send up a lightning bolt. Until then, I will take care of these bombs." The Jolteon barked and ran off as quickly as it came. "Go magnezone. Disarm this bomb then meet us in the breeder's dorm. Lucario, come with me and we'll take out every team galactic member we can find." Magnezone floated over to the bomb and started to push sparks and jolts of electricity into it. Koutetsu and Lucario ran to the next dorm, despirate to get all the bombs before they go off.

Hayato head turned from side to side as members of team galactic started to collaspe on the floor. All he could see was the girl making her way across the beach, obviously not a member of team galactic. He started to wave at her while keeping an eye on Saturn, who was also looking about. He brought out four of his pokeballs and withdrew all of the pokemon except for Shuckle and Slaking. "Slaking, grab the leader now." Slaking did not hesitate and bum rushed Saturn, knocking over the Toxicroak as he went. It all happened so fast, Saturn didn't know how to react. He grabbed Saturn and put her in the tightest grip he could manage. Hayato ran over to the girl and stopped infront of her. She stopped, probably wondering what was going on, and that he wasn't wearing a uniform. "My name is Hayato, I'm a student here. Team galactic stormed the island. I beat them, but they planted bombs. We need to go NOW, getting rid of the bombs and making sure everyone is save is more important than them getting away. I pushed them to the point where they can't invade anymore. Slaking, come on, bring her with you." Hayato was in an extreme hurry, and was not going to waste a second. The Slaking rushed over to them, Saturn and the Toxicroak tucked under his arm, both now asleep from the Gengar. Hayato grabbed the girl by the wrist and pulled her towards the dorms.

As Hayato began to haul her away from the shores, Beatrix turned her head towards her Weezing that cried out in alert as another boat began to arrive, and several Galactic members jumped from it, clad in scuba suits before rushing the shore.

Yanking her arm free, she tilted her head towards the three who had emerged from the water, and had released a Crawdaunt, a Golbat, and a Graveller from Pokeballs.
"You go, I can handle these three nothings. Before the island is destroyed, Hayato."
Turning away from him, she glanced towards her team of Pokemon, and recalling all of them except for Weezing, Starmie and Arbok who lined up to oppose Galactic's Pokemon.

Despite knowing of the dangers that faced the island, the other trainers, the teachers and their Pokemon, Beatrix could not help but feel the excitement of a battle, not having participated in one for several long weeks.
"Bad move kid..." sneered the grunt in the centre "Y'think a puny lil' girl like you can face the three of us?".

With a quiet chuckle, Beatrix tossed her hair and flashed a radiating smile - completely devoid of smugness towards the three interestingly dressed agents. "We'll just see 'bout that fellas'..."
With that, she placed the bag containing her shoes, and Pokeballs down before standing with her right hand on her hip.

"Golbat, use your Wing Attack on Arbok!" yelled the left grunt as the large flying Pokemon began a dive towards Beatrix's Arbok.

"Go Arbok, use your head butt!" responded the blonde trainer, as Arbok lunged towards the descending Golbat with a loud hiss, sending it back into the air, somewhat shaken before it began another aerial attack.

"Weezing!" shouted Beatrix, turning her head towards the floating purple Pokemon to her side "Smog attack!" she commanded as Weezing brought itself between the Golbat and it's comrade Arbok, and expelled a pungent gas into the air, clouding the beach between the Galactic members and Beatrix.

"Dirty trick!" complained one of the grunts, turning to his Graveler which slammed it's rock hard fist into it's other palm. "Rollout! Get through the gas and hit 'em for all they got!"

From the other side of the cloud, Beatrix frowned, before turning to her Starmie with a smirk beginning to twist her lips. "Starmie aim your ice beam attack through Weezing's smog, and with any luck you'll hit 'em!"

"Crre!" the Pokemon echoed in response, before it's core began to glow an icy cold blue, using it's psychic abilities to take aim before expelling the powerful ice attack into the smog cloud of Weezing's - though through the density, nothing was visible.

"Good work Starmie, now use your double edge attack to blow the gas away!"

Obeying the command, Starmie rose from the sand, and begun a blindingly quick spinning of it's star-shaped body - not unlike a ship's propeller would before coasting it's way into the cloud, and quickly dispersing it to expose the Graveler, and Golbat encased in a large block of ice.

"Wha-...what the hell?" demanded the lead grunt, his eyes clearly pulsating with rage as he pointed a finger towards the blonde trainer. "Crawdaunt, go show her she ain't such a badass. Use yer crabhammer attack on her Pokemon, and we'll take 'em all!"
As the crab Pokemon began it's way towards them, Beatrix turned her head to Arbok, and then to Weezing with a nod.

Hayato bolted down the sand, although he stopped to watch the fight for a second. At least he thought he only stopped for a second. He watched as the girl mopped the floor with the galactic members. "Wow, she's a really strong battler." He also didn't fail to notice that she was also very attractive. Hayato took the extra second to shake himself awake and brought himself back to the task at hand. Unfortunately this is when Hayato realized how he was still moving. Slaking, without wasting a second picked Hayato up and slung him over his back. *I thought she kept getting farther away.* Hayato hung his head and talked to his behamoth friend. "God damn it... please put me down." Hayato was set down and kept running, within a few minutes Hayato and Slaking reached the buildings. He found one of the teachers bringing what was apparently the second bomb out of another one of the dorms. "Sir, sir. Team Galactic is on the north side of the beach and another one of the students is holding them off. I got their leader and one of his pokemon. I came to help with the bomb. The gray haired man was impressed that his new students were already this talented, but he didn't have the time to praise him right now. "Look this is the second bomb. You stay here and watch the prisoners and I'll get the other three." "We dont have time for that." Hayato reached into his pocket and brought out his pokemon one more time. I'll go get a bomb with you. Jolteon, get some rope from our room. Metagross, Swampert, you stay here and watch this scum. Slaking come with me to get a bomb. Porygon, disarm this bomb. Koutetsu didn't want this student in harms way, but he was right, they didn't have time to wait. All the pokemon jumped at their taskes. Slaking put down the galactic members. Metagross sat over Saturn so she could not move at all, as Swampert held down Toxicroak. Porygon immediately phased into the bomb as it started to light up and blare with sound. Jolteon ran off to the dorm and was already in the room before Koutetsu could talk. "Alright, go get the last one in the breeders dorm, I'll get the one in the teachers lounge. We'll meet back here and grab the one in the fifth building." Hayato and Koutetsu parted ways, rushing towards the buildings. However neither one of them meet opposition, these buildings must have been the first ones planted, they didn't have much time. Koutetsu was worried, because he didn't see Jacob or Hoshi in the building, but he kept moving, carrying the bomb with Lucario. Hayato meet with Koutetsu again, Slaking carrying the breeder dorm bomb. Porygon quickly phased into both bombs, quickly causing them to short out. Both trainer and teacher spent the time tying up the waking Saturn and Toxicroak. Jolteon, Swampert, Metagross, and Magnezone were all left out to watch the prisoners. Koutetsu and Hayato ran into the fifth building, only hoping that it wasn't already to late.

"Bellossom! Use Sunny Day and then Assist her with Solarbeam! " She yelled, capturing their attention.

Saturn woke up from the Hypnosis in a dorm room, and a verily sloppy kept one at that. As he realized he was lying on a pile of underwear, he got up to find himself under watch by a Metagross and Swampert, who held down his Toxicroak. The Metagross, notcing the captive awake, glared and stomped warningly. No, Saturn was not even going to try to escape. A Metagross-induced concussion was not worth the risk. Saturn paced across the room, wondering what to do next. Sadly, he had no idea where he was or how he could escape.

Saturn wondered how he was going to escape arrest this time. The mission had failed, and Saturn was a prisoner. There was no way that the authorities would overlook the incident after he was turned in. Saturn decided that if jail was his destiny, he would accept it.

"All I wanted was a new world...", Saturn moaned as he slumped against the wall, and shut his eyes.

Hayato and Koutetsu came out of the fifth building, hauling an enormous bomb. They set it down as Porygon simultaniously phased in. The bomb was larger than the others, and more complicated. Koutetsu withdrew his pokemon and Hayato withdrew Jolteon. "Metagross, Swampert, take the prisoner into my dorm room, room 5. I think we would both like a word with him." Hayato nodded, and both pokemon walked off to the teacher's dorm. Hayato looked over at the shore, worried about the girl who was covering is escape. The team galactic members started to flee the island, cramming on to the few working boats they had left. He was forced away from watching the fleeing villans as the last bomb started to shake and rumble. The bomb completely shut down and Porygon-Z came out, blipping happily at their victory. "There was another student covering me while I came down to diffuse the bomb, I need to make sure she's ok." Hayato ran off to the beach where he last saw her, Porygon and Slaking right behind him. Koutetsu walked off to the dorm to have a discussion with the nerdowell. Hayato saw her as she was finishing up the battle. He rushed towards her side to assist her the best he could. He was no more than five feet away from her when he reached out his hand get her attention without her having to look away, but a bright beam of light shot between them and heading for Team Galactic. The beam made its way past them, but not before it hit Hayato's hand.

IC: "That will do it". Nite put the pokemons back in the box. "Now they know the area here in the dorms". Nite Headed back out and saw an group of trainers with their pokemons fighting some galactic grunts. "Since when do those space-noobs know this island? Did they came for an beating by us?"."I heard that, now ya gonna regret it!" The galactic grunt tossed an pokeball in the air and let out an purugly, Who stomped the ground. "You guys never get new pokemons, eh?" Nite threw out an net ball, who released a crawdaunt. "Tyrant, crabhammer and break the skull of that pokemon!' "CRAWDAUNT!!" Tyrant jumped in the air, and smashed the purugly in the ground with an critical hit on the head. "CRAAAAAAW!!" Tyrant used another crabhammer on the head of the fainted purugly."Purugly, retreat! Go, Dustox!" an red flash revealed an dustox who made an somersault. "Tyrant, guillotine!" "CRAW!" Yelled Tyrant, who successfully used guillotine on dustox."No pokemons? Too easy". Nite walked away from the grunt and searched for somebody else to explain what exactly was happening.

Koutetsu angerly walked into room five of the teacher's dorm. A Metagross and Swampert were watching over Saturn and Toxicroak. The Toxicroak was unconcience, but Saturn was awake. Saturn looked up as he heard someone open the door, but as soon as Koutetsu saw him he ripped Saturn up by the collar until they met eye to eye. "How dare you, you worthless piece of ****. What do you think you're doing; putting all these children and the pokemon in danger. Are you heartless, souless, attacking a kid and planting bombs? You would of killed us if you set off those bombs." Koutetsu swung back his fist and punched Saturn in the face. The sickening crack of Saturn's nose filled the air and the blood splashed on Koutetsu's hand. "You kind of people make me sick. You would hurt or kill anyone to gain your own selfish desires. What do you even want, legendary pokemon from what I hear. So the lives of all these children are worth that to you." Koutetsu swung another fist, up into Saturn's chest breaking several ribs. Koutetsu grabbed Saturn and Toxicroak and stormed out of the building. He walked onto the beach and threw them with all his strength down into the sand. "I swear to god, if I ever see you again, or hear about you trying to do anything remotely like this again. I will hunt you down, and I will kill you with my own bare hands. Don't you ever threaten the lives of my students again. You're not even worth the room in the jail cell that they'd throw you in." Koutetsu stood there watching Saturn, waiting for him to walk away with his tail between his legs.

Luca frowned as it hit a man in the hand. She quickly followed him, unseen.

"Could he be part of Team Galactic? I hope not.." she mumbled, before hearing a cracking sound. She looked over at them and gasped loudly.

"What the GIRATINA!?" She screamed. "There's an Evil teacher! EVIL TEACHER! Help!" She yelled.

Hayato and Slaking heard the girl yelling a few feet away now. She was quite unsuccessfully trying to sneak up, but they could tell that she was there for awhile. She should know that it's considerately difficult to sneak up on someone when they're standing on an open beach. Slaking spun around and placed his hand over her mouth. Hayato gently turned around, just in time to see the girl remove the hand from her mouth. She was younger than him, blond hair, blue eyes, and a bellossom by her side. "Well if that is your bellossom then I assume you fired that attack. Please be more careful when you're firing attacks like that, expecially when there is alot of panic. Also if you can help it, try not to fire that close to people, you almost him her too." Hayato lifted his good right hand over to signal the other trainer. His left hand was scorched and red from the solar beam. The older girl had finished up the three galactic members as they started to make their shameful escape. Hayato turned to the older girl, but would look back at the younger student when the conversation involved her too. "We've taken care of the bombs, and since the galactic members are retreating, I think we're safe. I came back here though to make sure you were ok."

Saturn sat bleeding on the floor. His head throbbed from the blow to his face. He had stayed quiet to avoid pain, but this teacher was going to kill him. There were no police on the island. If they decided to dispose of him, nobody would know. Toxicroak seemed to be in the same amount of pain.

"Toxicroak...", moaned Saturn,"Why do we have to be the enemies of everyone. Can't they see we are trying to create the perfect world. It was Cyrus's dream, and once agian we have failed him."

"If we die here Toxicroak, don't feel ashamed. We tried, and there is no better fate than dying a matyr. Still, there was so much we could have done."

Saturn had at this point broken into tears. Though he had sought to eliminate emotion but he was controlled by it. That is why he had joined Team Galactic. So he could lose his emotion. Slowly, Saturn flashed back to his childhood.

He was an orphan. His mother had died and he was alone in the world. He sat in the cold, dark Veilstone alley, wondering what was next. "Why", he asked, "why must it be me left here to die." He hated his life. He had been poor since he could remember, and had struggle to stay alive with his mom. No she was gone. Why did he have to feel this. So much pain in his life. He wished he could end it. As he sat there, he noticed to shadow of a man.

"You don't have to feel sadness, child." He looked up, to see the face of a man with blue hair. The man reached out to Saturn, offering him a perfect world, a world without emotion. "It can all be over, if you follow me." That day, his life changed forever.

Saturn came back to the room, same as it was before. But something about the Metagross was different than before. it's expression was softer, as if it had sensed Saturn's emotions...

Metagross felt this man's pain. Something Hayato had in all his pokemon was the ability to read emotion. He looked for a "empathic link" in his pokemon and it was something Hayato tried to bring out. He taught them to be sensitive, kind, and understanding something Hayato thought the world lacked and needed more of. Metagross resolved to ease the man's pain, for he was no longer a threat, just a broken down human. Metagross walked over to Swampert and told him to not worry about watching them, just keep them company until he got back. Metagross left for Hayato's room to get something as Swampert found a clean towel and wiped the blood off of Saturn's nose. Saturn did not understand what the Swampert was doing, but he sat back and cooperated, since any attempts at rebellion could result in his demise. Metagross re-entered the room as Swampert finished wiping the blood off of Saturn. A pokeball was dropped out of Meta's mouth and opened as it hit the floor. A large pink pokeball with an egg in a pouch on it's stomach saw the man and nearly fainted. He was in horrible condition, his face swollen and fresh blood dripping down his face. Blissey reached into her pocket and pulled out a medical kit. She began to work feverously to fix up Saturn as best she could. Meanwhile Metagross walked over to Toxicroak and began to talk to it. "What do you hope to accomplish with this sort of violence?"

The Toxicroak thought before speaking to the Metagross. He wasn't sure about telling him his story. He didn't think the Metagross would understand. Having no other choice, Toxicroak began.

"Well, to be honest, I never had a choice of joining Team Galactic. I was stolen from my mother as an egg, so I never knew my parents. The only person I've ever thought of as a mentor was my trainer, Saturn. When he was just a boy and I a Croagunk, I was assigned to him as his first pokemon. At first, we were friends, but over time, he saw me less as a friend and more as a weapon. I thought that I wasn't loyal enough, so I did whatever it took to fufill his wishes. I became a Toxicroak for him. Even now I doubt whether my actions were worth it. So many people have been hurt for my actions. If only they could forgive me..."

Metagross was surprised at the lack of coldness from the Toxicroak that he expected. He spoke to the Toxicroak to tell him what he, along with his comerades believed. "I believe that true force should only be used for defending yourself, and more importantly the ones you care about. I fight in battles, for the strength that I gain, so that I may better defend Hayato and my friends. For your actions, if you are truely sorry, some will understand and forgive, but others won't that is the way life goes. There is not much you can do but live and better yourself. As for your trainer, I can not deny what you went through is painful, that him thinking you as a weapon is not something that will cause you to suffer, and making you commit unspeakable acts. Hayato raised me from an egg as a beldum, and even though i was slow to grow and evolve, he stood by me every step of the way, giving me nothing but friendship, love, and support. I would do anything he asks of me so you and I are the same in a way. If you do not want to act as Saturn instructs then do not, and as painful as it might be deny his requests. If the worst happens and abandons you, you will always find shelter with a trainer who shares your same heart. Just remember, just as Saturn changed you, you have just as much influence to change him.

Saturn did not understand why the Pokemon were helping him. even though he had threatened to destroy the island, they seemed to care about him anyways.

"You would help me, even after what I've done?"

"Blissey!", the pink nurse pokemon replied.

Saturn turned to his Toxicroak, who had finished his conversation. He called for the Toxicroak and started to speak to him.

"Toxicroak, we will probably be seperated from each other as soon as we are brought in. I just wanted to say thanks for all you have done. I know I never credited you in the past, but you were the best Pokemon I've ever had. I'm sorry I let myself become preoccupied with creating Cyrus's world. All I cared about was creating my perfect world. I wanted an escape from my pain, but in the process I lost my humanity. You were the best friend I ever had, Toxicroak. I just wish you could forgive me. "

Hearing this Toxicroak walked over to Saturn and offered him his hand.

"Really Toxicroak? I'm forgiven?"

"Croak!", Toxicroak replied cheerfully.

Saturn took Toxicroak's hand, and they both sat together and fell asleep.

"Oh my Giratina, its Saturn! And it looks like he's not in good condition...Why are those pokemons helping them?"Nite walks over to Saturn and the bunch of pokemons while looking how the metagross and croagunk were talking with eachother. After that, croagunk and Saturn fell asleep. "Wait, wait, what the hell is happening here? Did those guy finally understood that what he does is wrong?"

Luca struggled against the hand that held her mouth shut.

"Hope this works..." she thought, and slipped a Pokéball out her pocket. It hit the ground, and a Blissey slipped out. Noticing the burn, Blissey immediantly hatched an egg to heal it.

Hoshi ran into room 5 there she saw an odd sight. She felt bad (and me too) that she missed something big but... she feel asleep in her room. Her Pikachu and Raichu was behind her.

"What happened? Why is there a... space man in Koutetsu room," Hoshi asked. Then she remembered that odd outfit. She felt fury but she kept it in.

"Why is that man here? What happened," Hoshi said calmly as possible. Star and Sparky were sparking just by looking at Saturn.

Hayato let the Blissey do her work on his hand. It was somewhat limited on supplies so all she could really do was stop it from swelling more. Slaking took the time to wipe the gastro acid off of his fur. Beatrix didn't seem like doing that much talking so he bid farewell to both students, and went to pick up his other two pokemon. He walked into the teacher's dorm room five, just in time for him to meet a black haired boy and a young teacher asking what the galactic leader was doing in the room. They both turned around and looked at him suspiciously, looking for answers. "That's the leader for team galactic. He attacked me on the north side of the beach and plan..." Hayato stopped as he noticed his Blissey placing bloody towels on the floor in the corner, and Saturn's face bleeding slightly. Hayato looked around and saw his Swampert and Metagross standing near the injuried galactic member. "Did you help him?" Metagross took a step forward, ready to take responsibility for his actions. Hayato closed his eyes and shruged. "Well you guys are good judge of characters, expecially you Metagross." Hayato walked over and rubbed Metagross on the head as he withdrew him. He turned to Swampert, who also walked over ready to be returned. Hayato sat down on the bed, wiping away dirty clothes littering it. "Blissey, can you help my hand." Blissey looked over at his hand, got out lotion and guaze, rubbing it over his hand before bandaging it up. Hayato could feel the relief as the burning started to subside. "Anyway, it's nothing to worry about. They're all gone now and everyone is safe. But anyway, let's leave these two alone to sleep." Hayato took out another slip of paper and wrote a note. He slipped it into Saturn's hand before walking out of the room, Blissey immediately following him.

Dear Galactic Leader,
To gain the assistance and trust of my pokemon, you must be a respectable person. As far as I'm concerned, you are forgiven, and I will not stop you from leaving. I only hope that you see the errors of your ways and resolve to fix them. Force should only be used to protect the ones you love. Maybe we can meet again, but as allies.

Jacob was about to give up the search for Hoshi when he passed Koutetsu's dorm. Hoshi and a student were in there, as well some guy and a Toxicroak, both of whom looked like they had seen better days.

"Hoshi! I've been looking all over for you! Koutetsu says there's an emergen..." he began before he recognized the Team Galactic uniform. He stared at it for a brief moment, unable to say anything before finally breaking out of the trance.

"Aw, man! Trasher is going to be really angry that he didn't get any of the fun. Then again, he's a Gyarados. He's always angry," Jacob said, starting to get distracted. He quickly snapped back to reality.

"Anyway, I'm guessing that the emrgency is over," he said hopefully.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"Okay... I still don't like this. If you see that teacher tell him that he is in charge of this man," Hoshi said as she rubbed her head. Then she looked at Jacob.

"I think you are little bit slow, Jacob," Hoshi said as she continue to up her head and walk away.

"Star, Sparky come. I need some pain killers. My head is hurting," Hoshi said harshly.

Saturn woke up with a note in his hand. As Saturn read it he felt something inside him stir. For once in his life, he had been forgiven for what he had done. For once in his life, he saw a different side to emotion. He had seen compassion and forgiveness. Saturn slowly came to realization.

"I... I... always thought that emotion was a bad thing. Maybe I was wrong about this world. Maybe it was perfect all along, and I was too blind to see it. All these years, searching for a world that was right in front of me!"

Saturn was brought to tears. He had never felt true happiness until now. For once in his life he was OK with the way things are. Saturn walked out of the room with Toxicroak. He gazed out into the ocean, mesmerized by it's beauty. He then looked up into the sky, and watched the Wingulls high above him.

"Wow, Toxicroak. We really do live in the perfect world."

[Realityxxx]

"Um, excuse me, but you do realize that the teacher who looks like an ugly steel-type freakazoid broke three of the guy's ribs?" Luca asked Hoshi.

"Looks like Saturn really put his brain on. And how is he gonna get away from this island? All boats already departed, and the rest sunken. Maybe, if the rest don't freaks out, he could be teacher...What else could he do with that huge brain? Make floating chairs?" Nite walked back inside his dorm, and ate some candy he brought with him."Howl, you want some?" "Migh!" The wolf's tail started moving from left to right, like an little happy dog. "Okay, take what you want!" howl's head dissapeared into Nite's bag and took out an chocolate bar. "Don't say you are gonna-wait, you DID eat the WHOLE chocolate bar...Now i don't got any chocolate anymore...".

"Starmie, Weezing, Arbok - good job..." praised Beatrix, recalling the three Pokemon to their Pokeballs individually, and placing them back into her bag as the three grunts loaded themselves back onto the vessels, and took leave from the island.

"Can't believe those jokers thought they could take out a whole island...that's terrible." she mused, watching the boats leave towards the horizon.
Turning back towards the faculty buildings in the distance, she began to walk barefoot across the hot sands towards them - her pace relaxed.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"H-he did... great... I'll take Saturn to the fifth building and call someone to fly in to get his injuries looked at," Hoshi said as she walked back to Saturn. She kneeled down and sighed.

"Can you walk? If you can't, I can ask my infernape to help you," Hoshi said.

Saturn turned around to see a different teacher. This one was a blond female with a black skirt, who looked like she could pummel a man into submission. He felt strangely attracted to her, but kept quiet. Saturn didn't exactly know how to talk to a girl. Mars and Jupiter were the only ones he had ever talked to, but they didn't count.

"Um, I can walk, but it's a bit painful to do so. Uhhh, I don't know how to say this, but may I stay on the island for a while? I've thought about my actions, and well, I've done a lot of horrible things with Team Galactic. I really think if I stay on the island I'll learn to forgive myself, but for now, I need time to think about what I've done."

Hayato walked onto the cooling sands of the beach. The day was ending and the sun was starting to set. Hayato sat down on the sand and cradled Shuckle in his hands. Shuckle's head popped out of his shell and looked towards the ocean. The red sun was reflecting off the ocean and turning the sky yellow, and orange. The moon was starting to peer out from the darkness. It gave a slight sliver glow from its crescent body. Hayato sat there thinking about the day's events. He knew that it was going to be an exciting and interesting year. And if he could hold off the galactic members and take care of the situation in its entirity almost single handedly, he could take anything the school could throw at him. He was glad he could help, but it upset him, that he did not even get a single sign of appriciation. He ran all over the island that day, helped disarm four bombs, made sure everyone was ok, and held off an entire fleet of galactic members. He never did it for the fame, but it still would have been nice for one thank you. Was that too much to ask. He sat there and petted the head of his moldy friend. He'd just take this beautiful phenomena of nature as his thank you, for all his hard work.

As the setting sun cast a shadow behind Beatrix's walking figure, she continued her way across the sands - flanked by Vaporeon on one side, and Houndoom on the other. Every so often, the two Pokemon would connect their gazes, and offer each other an affectionate glance - Beatrix had always known the way the Pokemon treated each other, ever since she first captured Houndoom as a Houndour. Vaporeon had been the one to weaken the fire Pokemon beforehand, and for several days they had a friendly rivalry.

"Sure is nice here you guys...sort of romantic for you two..." paused the blonde, glancing down towards the two Pokemon, before stopping a few steps ahead - where the two sat down beside each other on the sands. Vaporeon's mermaid tail swishing, and Houndoom's pointed tail occasionally flapping the sandy ground.

"Like I said earlier...we're here to have fun, but everything here is serious. Anyway, I've been thinkin' about putting you guys together as a team...for double battles"

Vaporeon cocked her head, as Houndoom growled lowly in response - though not in a threatening way.
"You guys like that idea? You're both so strong, and I think you'd be an incredible team...but we just need to give it a try sometime."

Smiling, she stepped forward and knelt down before the two Pokemon, and set her bag down to pat them both on their heads.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

Hoshi did know what to say. She thought about it. "Fine but if you are playing a dirty trick you will be force to leave the island and go straight to jail. Do you understand," Hoshi said harshly. She still didn't trust Saturn.

"Its getting late...When is that meeting going to start? Midnight?" Nite lay down on his bed with mightyena lying next him."Howl, if you dare to eat again an whole chocolate bar, you will die"."Migh..." "Joking! Hahaha!" And the sadness of howl now disappeared and turned into Joy."Might!" "Hey, if I'm going to kill you, i have something wrong with my brains! Come howl, lets take a walk now it's dark" Howl opened the door and pushed Nite outside."Hey, hey, calm down!" Howl ran outside and rolled over on his back."Want some company?" "Ye!"."Okay, here are flashbang and Luna!" two red flashed hit the sand and revealed an houndoom and umbreon. "Dooooom!" "Um!".

Saturn frowned. He still wasn't trusted by everyone. He had kinda expected this though, so it wasn't too surprising.

"This really isn't a dirty trick. Would I really try and fool you guys at this point? You would kill me, like your other friend has nearly done."

Saturn frowned again at remembering that incident. He was still bruised and in pain from the incident.

"Look, if it makes you feel better, I won't sleep in a dorm room. I'll camp out in the northern forest by the river, and maybe learn something about myself. I understand if you don't trust me. I've done a lot of underhanded things I'm not proud of..."

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"You are staying in a dorm with a teacher. Come let's get those injuries looked at," Hoshi said as she got her cell out. She called the nurse and gave her a heads up about a man with broken ribs.

Koutetsu silently appeared behind Hoshi. "We should probably put off the meeting for a bit and give anyone the choice to leave the island if they don't feel safe. I say we give it a week before we start up, gives the students time to relax and mingle, and lets us watch Saturn without having to worry about classes. We're gonna have to watch him around the clock. When he sleeps he should be in either my or Jacob's room, since sleeping in the same room as you would be inappropriate. During the day anyone can watch him. I volunteer, but I can see if you think that's a bad idea because I... Well I don't really have to tell you." Koutetsu looked at her, and she could tell he was sorry for what he had done. His head then dropped, hanging heavily facing the floor. "I am sorry that I hurt him. I couldn't control it, I couldn't stop myself. This whole incident just brought up memories, ones that I like to avoid thinking about." A single tear rolled off his face onto the ground, before he turned and barged out of the room.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"Jacob can watch over him. There is two reason why. One, it is properly a good idea if he wasn't in your room. Two, I think this is a better punishment for Jacob for being lazy this morning," Hoshi said with a smirk, "Come on let's go to the Fifth building Saturn. Unless you like having broken ribs."

Hayato was lying on the now dark beach listening to the sounds of the waves softly beating upon the shore. He was falling asleep, loving the tranquil nature on the island. He heard something shift on the sand, and quickly jumped to his feet. He had no idea what to expect, expecially after the events of the day. He looked down the beach and saw a dark blob. The blob seemed to get closer and closer, and he thought he saw a second smaller figure walking beside it, but he couldn't tell. He didn't want to jump to conclusions and attack, but he didn't want to be defenseless. He reached into his pocket and pulled out a pokeball, which he released the pokemon inside of it, behind him. A large, bulky ghost came out behind Hayato and floated around to the front. The ghost was camoflauged in the darkness, so nobody would see it before Hayato could see who it was. The ghost floated silently infront of Hayato, taking a defensive stance.

Luca smirked as she looked at the teacher.

"I'll get him. Is dragging him by the ear acceptable?" Before awaiting an answer, she plugged the Ipod earphones in her ears, and started listening to Kasane Teto's version ofKinjirareta Asobi (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hi-7ssiNe_4).

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"It not acceptable for a student to drag a teacher anywhere," Hoshi said as she tried to help Saturn. "Tell the students that the opening day meet will be tomorrow."

Hayato closed his eyes and shook his head as he saw the two blobs down the beach vanish. "I'm more tired than I thought, I'm seeing things. Ugh, its time for bed, come on dusknoir." The ghost pokemon floated quickly ahead of him, heading for the dorm. Hayato silently slipped into his dorm where dusknoir awaited him. Hayato reached into his pocket and pulled out eight pokeballs. He threw them all to the floor and his entire team emerged infront of him. "Alright guys, time for bed. You know what to do."

Hayato started to change as the pokemon set up their sleeping arrangements. Hayato took off his jacket and hung it over the chair at his desk, also taking Shuckle of his back and placing him on the bed. Slaking dropped to the floor against the back wall and fell asleep instantly. Swampert curled up on a bean bag chair at the foot of Hayato's bed and closed its eyes. Dusknoir floated up and vanished into the shadows of the room. Hayato took of his shirt and jeans and threw them to the floor. Blissey rolled her eyes as she picked up the discarded clothes and placed them in a hamper as Hayato was pulling up a pair of black sweat pants. Hayato walked over to his bed, where he almost tripped over Forretress, who rolled under the desk and clamped its shell. Hayato stepped on Metagross, lying beside his bed and sat down. Blissey walked over to a cot and curled up under the blankets. Hayato brought up the blankets, turning on his side with Shuckle lying near his stomach. Both Jolteon and Umbreon leaped onto the bed, shot down the blankets, and curled up with each other by Hayato's feet. Finally Porygon-Z gently lowered itself into the alarm clock by the bed, changing the digital display to show Porygon asleep. They all laid silently in the room and fell into a peaceful slumber.

"It sure Is an nice night eh howl? Lets me think of the night i found you stuck in the sewers...What where you actually doing down there as an poochyena?" "Migh..." "Looking for food? What did you want to eat there? Anyway, its getting late. I think we should return to our dorm" Nite picked up Howl and carried him back to the dorm. "Oh crad, i don't have something to sleep...Then i just hold on my clothes!" Nite released Luna, Flashbang and tyrant from their pokeballs. "Um!" Umbreon lay down On the bed next to Howl, Nite and Flashbang, and tyrant lay down next to the door. "Good night guys".

Luca sighed and yelled out,

"Meeting is tomorrow! Rescheduled!"

Hayato woke up to the sun creeping through the window and all his pokemon quietly snoring. He slowely got up and walked over to his dresser. He threw on a ratty old white shirt, and a pair of blue jeans. He pulled out five pokeballs from the dresser and withdrew Slaking, Jolteon, Swampert, Forretress, and Metagross. Umbreon and Shuckle woke up as their sleeping partners have been moved. "Umbreon, tell the others I've gone training, when they wake up. Shuckle, you'll be coming now, but your training will be at night with the other five here." Umbreon just sunk back underneath the covers and Shuckle sluggishly crawled his way over to Hayato. Hayato slung him over his back and ran out the door. Hayato started his training by jogging along the beach. After ten laps around the island he ran into the middle of the forest.

Hayato threw his pokeballs to the ground and the five pokemon bursted out. "Look, that scuffel with team galactic showed me how much we need to train." He looked at Metagross, whose metal skin shined slightly in the rising light. "We need stronger defense and offense. Today I want you to try to break through Forretress's defense, so Forretress; your job is to hold out against all of Metagross's attacks, don't let him through. We'll keep it up until you both meet the superior expectations I have for you." Metagross nodded, turning to Forretress who immediately clamped down its heavy shell. Next he turned to Slaking. "You know you're my trump card. You need to be just as fast as you are strong. You will be trying to hit Jolteon. If you can land hits against Jolteon, you'll be able to hit anything. As for you Jolteon, your speed is excellent, but lets make it remarkable." Jolteon sunk his body near the ground as Slaking rushed forward. "Finally Swampert, my dear friend, you know diversity is your strength. You'll be working with me. First we'll start with push ups, sit ups, and the regular warmup. Afterwords you'll be sparring with me. Use all the moves you can, try to hit me with everything you can." Swampert looked at him with a look of confusion, he didn't want to hurt his friend. Hayato understood the look and replied with a soft voice. "I know this sounds dangerous. I need to be as well trained as you guys. I have to be able to protect my loved ones on my own merit, including you guys." Swampert nodded, while Shuckle tried to slip off of Hayato's back. "No Shuckle, stay on. I need the extra weight to maximize the training." Hayato grabbed a tree branch and started to pull himself up. Swampert grabbed the branch beside him and started to do the same. All the teammates were silent, except for Shuckle, who let out a worried wimper.

Marill, Water Gun the captain said.
Marill launched a strong Water Gun at Charmeleon.
Dodge, Charmeleon, then use Ember!
Charmeleon jumped over the strong current coming from Marills mouth and tried to hit Marill with a strong Ember attack. Marill was hit, but not bad.
Marill, Aqua Ring
Marill turned blue and began to recover itself.
Charmeleon, Rock Smash! Carl said. Charmeleons hand glowed white and it hit Marill on the head.
Water Gun, again.
Dragon Rage, Charmeleon Carl said and a Water Gun and a Dragon Rage hit each other, but the Dragon Rage won. Marill was Knock Out.
The captain returned his Marill.
Not bad, the captain said.
A sailor came to the captain.
We are arriving in 30 seconds, sir
Good, Ayo, dock as soon as possible, this boy might be late
Charmeleon, return. Charmeleon was sucked up by the red beam coming from his Poké Ball. Another adventure to learn about Pokémon. He got already eight Pokémon. And to be honest, Charmeleon was his favorite and his strongest. Sometimes he asked himself how he staid just that Charmeleon, and didn't evolve yet. Perhaps he is just to stubborn.
The ship docked at the island and Carl stepped from the boat.
Thanks for bringing me here. Carl said at the captain.
No problem, thats why you pay me.
I know, but still, Carl said. It was a nice battle. Next time I will see your Feraligatr.
The captain laughed and stepped on the boat again.
Carl headed for Trainers dorm 2

Saturn and Hoshi walked down the corridor. She was helping him walk, since his gate was slightly thrown off from his affliction. He was extremely uncomfortable. He never talked to a girl beside Jupiter or Pluto, not to mention have one help him like this. He tried to hurt these people not even an hour ago, and they were being so kind to him. He looked to Toxicroak with pleading eyes, but the poison pokemon couldn't help but be uncomfortable also. Cyrus did once tell him that women liked to be complemented, so he thought of something he could complement her on that wouldn't be to personal. He turned to her with the only thing he could think of that wasn't likely to get him even more injured. "You have... a very nice establishment here.?." He just hoped that this would make the whole situation less awkward.

The dorm smelled quite new and unused. Carl just finished his bed and put the clothes in a small closet next to his bed. He made sure his Poké Balls were attached on his belt and he walked outside, today would be that meeting he heard, so he was heading to the meeting point, perhaps he could make some new friends.

Hayato lied on the ground breathing heavily with bruises all over his body. Swampert was swimming around in the creek, hunting magikarp for fun. Forretress and Metagross were taking deep relaxing breaths in the sun, trying to ease the burning of their bodies. Slaking was sleeping under a tree and Jolteon was running up and down the beach. Shuckle waited quietly for Hayato to stand up. Slowly he did, forcing all but Shuckle and Swampert into their spherical shelters. Swampert jumped out of the water into the air and was returned to his pokeball. Hayato gently picked Shuckle up and placed him on his back. He threw on his black jacket and made his way to the meeting hall. It was quiet, he didn't see anyone. He was training for hours, so it wasn't that early anymore, but not a sound was being made. He walked around the campus for a little while, looking for at least some signs of life. He did see one person however. A blond haired male, one that wasn't on the inital boat going to the island. Hayato cautiously walked towards the male, keeping on hand on Swampert's pokeball.

Carl soon discovered nobody was on the meeting place.
Perhaps I am to early. He said by himself. He headed back to his dorm, but when he turned around he saw a blackhaired boy standing there with his left hand on his belt.
Excuse me, when is the meeting? he asked, It should be here right?

Hayato let go of Swampert's pokeball, so it remained sitting in his pocket. The blond haired boy looked like an alright person. "Well I really don't know." Hayato moved his right hand to the back of his head and started to scratch. "We had a bit of an incident the other day, so the meeting was pushed back and everything is still a little chaotic." He started to rub his left hand, since it started to burn up at the memories of the previous days events. He stopped, deciding it would be most polite to introduce himself. He stuck out his good hand for a handshake. "Regardless, my name is Hayato."

"Migh!......Migh!..."........."Flash! A-""Migh! *mutter mutter*" "*whisper whisper*"...
"AGGROOON!!!" "Where is the fire! *bonk* Ow...Is that your way of waking me, tyrant and flashbang up Crush?" Crush picked up Howl and held him before Nite. "Okay, its al right. Put Howl back down. "You guys Okay?" Tyrant was already back asleep, and Flashbang nodded his head. "Okay...Where is Luna?"..."Umb!"..."Wait, she was sleeping on my bed...I fell out of my bed with my head on the ground...Aha!" Nite stood up and walked to his sheet, and took Luna out of it. "Lost in the maze of softness?" Umbreon started to walk in an circles around Nite, and rubbed with her head against Nite's legs.

"Okay, how late is it...ELEVEN! Unholy giratina, im late! i hope the meeting didn't start already!" Nite returned everybody except Howl and Luna back to their pokeballs, and then rushed outside, and almost crashed against two guys talking with each other " Okay...I ain't too late for anything".

I see.Carl said Well, my name is Carl. I couldn't get here yesterday. It was my grandmother 99th birthday. But now I'm here he said. I guess we have to wait until someone in charge pass by.
Carl turned his head and he saw that a person clothed in a black shirt and blue jeans, was running out of his dorm followed by an Mightyena and an Umbreon. I see it SHOULD be right now, but it seems Pokémon Trainers are always late he laughed a bit and het set himself on a bench again.

"No you're not late, it just seems like all the teachers are. Arceus forbid they be on time for a change." Hayato shook his head in disgust of the tardness of his teachers. Carl started walking towards the beach, Hayato guessed he wanted to relax before the meeting. He saw this kid a few times the other day, unfortunately it was only before and after they got attacked. He remembered seeing something yesterday that caught his attention. "You were the student with the Tyranitar right? I didn't get a very good look at it since I was passing by. Do you think I could have a look at it?"

I don't know where you are talking about, but i don't have a Tyrannitar. I'm more the kind of trainer who trains Pokémon who doesn't look very strong. I guess thats the best way to surprise an opponent. For example if I would fight a Tyrannitar, I would call out my Skitty to use Grass Knot. With Tyrannitar being a Rock-type and quite heavy, the Tyrannitar has no chance. Carl explained. Perhaps only if that Tyrannitar is fast AND strong enough to hit my Skinny and knock it out in one hit. But you ask if you wanna see my Pokémon, ofcourse you can. Allright, Dratini, Charmeleon, Pidgeotto, Skitty, Bronzor, Meditite, Nidorino, Pikachu, come out and meet!

"I see what you were talking about. I was talking to Nite about his Tyranitar, he had one out yesterday. No offense though, I don't think that skitty could take down a Tyranitar even with grass knot. If it had normalize to make it stronger it wouldn't be super effective, and without it Tyranitar's special defense is well over twice that of Skitty's special attack. That and Tyranitar's base speed is higher than Skitty's." Hayato let out a small grin and rubbed the back of his head. "I came from a family of breeders and most of my family also trained them, So I grew up around this kind of discussion. Using non-fully evolved pokemon is a good way to surprise you're opponent, but they might be over powered by exceptionally strong pokemon like a Tyranitar or Salamence. But if you want, you can show me how well you can use under evolved pokemon. We can have a quick three on three match if that suits you?"

Allright, but three against three might be too long, how about a double battle. Carl said.

"Alright that sounds good, but I don't want to be at an advantage. I've already seen your pokemon so here's mine." Hayato threw the five pokemon he had in storage. A large burst of light ended in the appearence of Slaking, Metagross, Jolteon, Forretress, and Swampert. The pokemon had a large outburst of confusion, quickly ending when Hayato put up his hand. Hayato reached around his back and pulled out Shuckle. "And, here's Shuckle." All of his pokemon walked over to stand beside him in a single file line. "This way you have an idea of what will come at you, just like I do."

I see, a quite variation of skills. A lot of strong defenders, but your Jolteon must be fast. Okay, I think I know which Pokémon I'll choose, Charmeleon and Bronzor, you're up.

"Hmm, well that's and interesting combo. Let's go with our own oddball combo. Slaking, Shuckle you're up." Slaking picked up Shuckle and walked slowly to the front line. He gently placed Shuckle down and they stood side by side. The other four pokemon got into comfortable positions to watch the fight. "Whenever you're ready."

Charmeleon, use Dragon Rage on Shuckle. Bronzor, use Hypnosis on Slaking
Charmeleon began to spit a blue beam at Shuckle, while Bronzor levitated around Slaking making it drowzy.

"Slaking, Fire punch Bronzor. Shuckle, Gastro acid on Slaking." Slaking hit the Bronzor with his flaming fist, which caused the small metal pokemon to be hurled backwards. Shuckle was hit by the blue beam, but managed to spit green acid onto his teammate. Slaking became awake and alert, ready for the next round of attacks.

Good move. Carl admitted. Bronzor use Confuse Ray at Slaking, Charmeleon use Fire Fang on Shuckle. Bronzor was sending a weird looking beam to Slaking in order to confuse it. Charmeleons teeth became red and tried to hit Shuckle with his burning teeth.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

After Hoshi sent Saturn to the doctor, who flew to the island, she walked back to the teacher's dorm. She went to 5 and knocked the door.
"Koutetsu... are you in there I need to talk to you," Hoshi said.

"An attacking Charmelon, and a status Bronzor. I got your strategy down now; you'll get a good bit of people off guard, expecially with the under evolved pokemon. Shuckle, rest after you take the hit. Slaking let's make it a snooze fest, use yawn on Charmelon." Both pokemon waited for the attack. Charmelon hit Shuckle, and it made him cringe with pain, but he immediately went to sleep and glowed pink. Slaking turned to the two and let out a nice large yawn before being hit with the odd beam.

Koutetsu opened the door only wearing a pair of ripped up jeans. His hair was even more messed up than usual. His eyes were bloodshot, and his face was red. He wordlessly motioned for her to come in and he took a step back into the room. He just waited for her to tell him what she wanted.

Use another Fire Fang at Shuckle before falling asleep. Bronzor, you use Extrasensory at Slaking.

"Slaking, use fire punch on bronzor." Slaking was able to pull off another firey fist attack against the bronzor. Slaking hit the bronzor but also took the damage from extrasensory. The mirror pokemon went flying a second time. Shuckle could only sit and sleep through the attack. The Charmelon however was put to sleep.

OOC: I flipped a coin for see if I got the attack off. It's between the two of us when a pokemon is knocked out. I think after two fire punchs bronzor would pass out, but I'm leaving the call to you.

Because of Bronzors Heatproof-ability, Bronzor could take this hit. However one more hit might do it.
Bronzor, use Extrasensory at Slaking again. Charmeleon, if you awake already, use Fire Fang at Shuckle.

OOC: Ok, I didn't know which ability it had.

Both Shuckle and Charmelon were awake now. "Shuckle, use earthquake. Slaking jump." Slaking was confused and couldn't move, he fell backwards hurting himself slightly. Shuckle ripped the ground open infront of him. Charmelon was hit first, knocking him back and ripped its way back to the bronzor.

Charmeleon, use Flamethrower at Slaking, full power, Bronzor use Confusion at Shuckle and send it flying..
Charmeleon took a deep breath and began to create a larg beam of fire coming to Slaking.
Bronzor was lifting up Shuckle with its Psychic-skills and tried to launch it in the air.

"Let's finish this. Shuckle take the flamethrower. Slaking earthquake." Shuckle withdrew into its shell and flew into the flamethrower. The jet of fire split and missed Slaking. Slaking raised its fists into the air and slammed them down. The earth splintered and shattered once more. Flying towards Charmelon and Bronzor and sent them both flying.

Bronzor had a little left, while Charmeleon could go another round more easily.
Okay, change to the plan guys. Shuckle you use Confusion on Shuckle agian. This time you hold it in the air. Charmeleon, a new Flamethrower at Slaking, please.
Bronzor lifted Shuckle again, while Charmeleon charged for another Flamethrower. Would Shuckle stay in the way this time?

"Shuckle gastro acid on the Bronzor. Slaking fire punch that Bronzor. Shuckle shot his gastric acid at the Bronzor while floating in the air. Slaking rushed forward hitting the Bronzor with full force. It sent the Bronzor flying straight back. It fell into the sand and kept pushing through until it came to a gradual halt. Slaking then was hit by a flaming jet. He cried out at the burning pain. "SLAKING" The flames were forced from Slaking's body with after the mighty roar. Slaking turned to the Charmelon, ready to finish it off. Slaking may have taken a flamethrower, but since it only took one other hit already, it had more than enough hit points to keep going.

Both Charmeleon and Bronzor fell on the ground, KO'ed.
Guess bulky Pokémon win after all Carl said. He walked to his Pokémon. You guys were awesome.
The two a little recovered smiled a bit.
Here, take a good rest. he said.
You know how to use their moves well Carl committed.You guys should return too. Carl said to his other Pokémon and he called them back one by one

"Thank you. Those are some very well trained pokemon you have there." Hayato walked over to Slaking and started to rub its shoulder. Poor guy, training all morning, then a fight. You have to be exhausted. Have a rest." He pulled out the sloth pokemon's ball and returned it. Hayato then turned around and placed all his pokemon back into their balls. Hayato walked over to Shuckle, who had used another rest, and tucked him under his arms. "Very nice match. I'd be very happy to have you fight by my side sometime. It's refreshing to find someone who knows how to double battle." Hayato walked over to Carl and offered him a hand shake.

Exiting the trainer's dorm building, Beatrix's attention had been grabbed from her book following several tremors that shook the island - thinking they were actual earthquakes.

Although once she made it outside, she tilted her head towards the two battling trainers who were in the process of recalling their Pokemon.

"Damn...were you two battling? Shame I missed it...perhaps I could take on the winner sometime?"

Offering a smile, she raised a Pokeball onto her right index finger, and began to spin it. "That is...if being beaten by a girl doesn't frighten you?"

"I'm not really afraid to be beaten by a girl, as much as I am to put a frown on such a pretty face." Hayato looked over at her with a sincere grin. "Name a time and a place and I will meet you there."

[CeriseInka]

With a faint smirk, Beatrix arched a brow as she captured the Pokeball in her right hand to clutch it tightly.

"Right here, right now?"

Hayato's grin grew even bigger. "If that is what the lady wishes. Would you perfer a one on one, double battle, or three on three?"Hayato spread his hand infront of his face, three pokeballs held between his fingers.

[CeriseInka]

Beatrix chuckled quietly, allowing a slight breeze to misplace her flowing golden locks as she raised the Pokeball before her.

"Three on three battle, no time limit, and no substitutions?" she posed the question, before tapping the button on the front of the Pokeball to allow Houndoom to emerge where it stood primed, and ready with a fearsome growling sound.

"Swampert, You're up; use surf." Swampert came flying out of his pokeball. The ocean behind them became violent and a huge wave came crashing towards them. Swampert jumped up and landed on top as he directed the wave to the dark pokemon.

With a barely concerned shrug of her shoulders, Beatrix glanced towards Houndoom.

"I suppose I should have expected a water type...very well, Houndoom use Sunny Day!"

Houndoom dipped it's head, and allowed it's eyes to slip closed before it arched it's back to release a high pitched howl, that caused the already bright sunlight to intensify with the rays directed towards the high wave crashing towards it.

"Stand your ground!" she commanded, as Houndoom braced itself for the impact of the water attack.

"Well Swampert, she doesn't seem to want to back down. Time yourself, when the wave hits him use earthquake so he can't dodge." Swampert bent down and pushed itself mightly off the wave. It jumped high into the air and readied to hit the ground, sending a temor when it would land. Hayato waited to see how she would deal with this.

[CeriseInka]

"Use Solarbeam!" commanded Beatrix as Houndoom bared it's fangs, and a sudden blast of high powered energy emerged, aimed towards the Swampert.


Chuckling quietly, she offered Hayato a brief smile. "Sunny Day means Houndoom didn't have to charge itself for a Solarbeam attack, and Swampert being a ground AND water type, let's see how it deals with this."

[shinyshuckle]

"You're a lot better than I could have imagined. But simple problems need simple solutions my dear. Swampert protect then into earthquake." Hayato smiled, Solar beam has always been a problem for Swampert, so he taught him protect. Even if the earthquake missed he would still be hit with the surf, since it was going to be caught firing solarbeam. Swampert was covered with a blue glow, he started to spin and forced his way straight through the solarbeam. Swampert ended by slamming straight into the ground. The force rippled through the ground causing another round of devastation. The earthquake crashed its way to Houndoom just as the wave came crashing down.

"Not good..." frowned Beatrix, tapping her hand against her hip in contemplation before she called out to her Houndoom "Quickly Houndoom, rise up onto the highest points of your feet and try to lessen the impact, and then hit it with a Fire Blast while it's in close range...!"

Houndoom winced against the sheer force of the powerful ground attack, though it obediently lowered it's head again as it's eyes began to flow a fierce crimson, before it opened it's mouth and shot a well aimed Fire Blast towards the Swampert - though the wave came thundering behind it.

"Hurry, try to jump out of the way!" she called with concern for the fire Pokemon, it already having endured an earth shattering assault from the opposing Pokemon, but her faith for Houndoom was too great to allow it to give up.

"Sometimes to have to take a hit to finish off your opponent. Swampert rock tomb." Swampert placed his hands on the ground and let out a roar. A line ripped through the ground from Swampert to Houndoom. Swampert was hit by the flaming symbol and was knocked back. He survived the hit, but still taking a decent amount of damage. Rocks quickly protruded from the ground surronding Houndoom. The crashed against the dog, getting him ready for a watery tomb.

"This is bad..." sighed Beatrix, watching as the wave made it's descent towards Houndoom - though she pulled out the fire Pokemon's Pokeball, and held it out before her.

"Return Houndoom, having you hurt is not worth winning a battle." The red beam shot out and encased the firey spirited Pokemon, before recalling it and placing it into her bag.

"I forfeit this round, Gengar - it's your turn!" retrieving a second Pokeball from her bag, she held it out and allowed the Ghost Pokemon to emerge. "Let's tie this one each, Gengar hit Swampert with Shadow Ball!"

Gengar released a haunting laugh, before holding it's hands before it and conjouring up a black ball of void that pulsed erratically before directing it towards Swampert.


"It has to be tiring out..."

IC:Nite sat down and watched the two fights. "Nice show. Can i fight you after this, or are your pokemons too tired after this?" Nite evaded the solarbeam that got split in two and aimed in his direction. "I guess we could place an sign: Watch out for solarbeam. Serious injury or dead may occur. Good idea? First we got your hand, now this. Anyway, if you want you can see him after the fight".

"Swampert protect. Right now its a little hard to concentrate on your request, but if you want to fight I can fight after the meeting; if there is a pokecenter around or something to a similar affect." He knew this was bad, Swampert didn't have a trump card for this one. Swampert once again was covered with the blue shield and let the shadow ball just roll off it. He'll just have to deal with the gengar later. "I don't feel like dealing with the gengar right now, roar Swampert." Swampert planted itself as solidly as it could and let out an emense roar. The air and earth started to vibrate. Gengar's pokeball malfunctioned and it was returned, and caused another pokemon to be released. The white light would determine what her third pokemon would be.

(OoC: I believe forcing me to change Pokemon would be power-playing...I'm aware Swampert can learn Roar, but that's not very fair since I had a battle overview for Gengar already set up.)

Beatrix scowled as Gengar was swallowed up by it's Pokeball, glancing down at the sphere before shrugging. "Cowardly tactic..." she sneered before withdrawing a third Pokeball, and releasing the Pokemon from it.

"It can't use Protect twice in a row, so I choose you Weezing, hit it with a Giga Impact!"

As Weezing emerged from the light, it was engaged in a frighteningly powerful tackle that struck Swampert dead on, and sending it several hundred yards.


"I'd like to see you withstand that..."

OoC: Hey guys, I'm back from the Hamptons. Thanks shinyshuckle for playing my character!

Pikachu Hoshi showed no response to the compliment. She clearly wasn't in the mood. After all, he had threatened to blow up the island a few hours ago.

Gah! Why did I listen to Cyrus in the first place! What was I thinking when I used something taught by an anti-social nutjob! I'm pathetic.

The Toxicroak chuckled a little.

"Hey, at least I tried! I didn't laugh when you fell in love with that Politoad!"

Toxicroak shut up. He had indeed fallen for a female Politoad when Saturn was a kid. Of course, the feeling wasn't exactly mutual, no matter what he did. Eventually, Toxicroak stopped trying to win her over, though he still thought of her every once in a while.

After Saturn was bandaged up, he was assigned to bunk with one of the teachers. As he fell asleep, he thought about how his first day on the island would be like.



Saturn was woken up by a sudden earthquake.

"Toxicroak, what's happening!?"

The shaking stopped, and Saturn looked out the window to investigate. A battle was going on, and the boy whose pokemon had taken care of him was one of the trainers. Saturn smiled a bit, and turned around. The teacher he had been assigned to was snoring loudly, clearly in deep sleep.

"Well, we can't leave until he does, so let's go back to sleep."

"Swampert return." Swampert could barely stand after that, and he didn't need to take more of a beating. It didn't matter giga impact gave him a nice advantage, that Weezing wouldn't be able to move for at least one attack. People who get lost in frustration tend to leave themselves open. "Metagross, go. Zen headbutt." Hayato flung a pokeball that popped open. A giant metal tank flew out and headed straight towards Weezing. He smashed into the floating gasball pokemon with his head glowing a violent pink. "Now end it with a Meteor Mash." The Weezing was knocked back by the blow but Metagross kept full momentium. He swung his heavy metal arm at full force, ready to quickly end the match.

OOC:If you really feel that using Roar is power-playing we can just go back and change the two posts. I just thought roar is realistic, since situations like that could actually occur. Roar or Whirlwind are actually really common moves, so I didn't think you would be really upset.

"Good job Weezing, now turn up the heat with your Flamethrower attack!"

Once Weezing opened it's mouth, all that was visible was a roaring flame that then was expelled towards the large cross on Metagross' front, using it as a target which aided in scoring a direct hit.

"Keep it up Weezing, and then follow up with your Smog attack."

As Weezing continued to pump out the scorching Flamethrower, it began to discharge a filthy gas from the outcrops on it's body that completely covered itself, and Metagross.

"Damn, she's trying to set up a smoke screen so I can't hit her." Hayato watched as the giant cloud of purple consume both the pokemon. "Let's just hit with an attack that doesn't miss. Aerial ace Meta" Metagross started to glow with a white light, and the clouds of smoke started to disappear. The collossus of metal hurled itself towards Weezing and smacked it head on, the Weezing was knocked back and the cloud of smoke was gone. "So, I guess Roar is a cowardly tactic, but hidding in a cloud of smog is perfectly acceptable to you.

Smirking, Beatrix placed a hand on her hip and tilted her chin up towards Weezing. "We thought we'd play it your way for now, but playtime is now over. Weezing hit it with another Flamethrower attack and that should be it"

Weezing pulled back after the gaseous cloud was dispersed and directed another flamethrower towards Metagross, though this time it was aimed underneath and around the solid steel feet of the Pokemon.


"Turn up the heat Weezing, come on - let's win this thing"

"Even with a pretty face, you're not going to win anyone over with a personality like that. Also be careful when you're aiming at the feet of certain pokemon, even heavy ones like Metagross. Magnet rise and zen headbutt full force." Metagross feet tucked themselves under himself and he floated up and out of the way of the flamethrower. Metagross tanked himself down face first towards the Weezing and gave it another devastating psychic smack. The Weezing was knocked back another few steps.

With a quiet laugh, Beatrix shook her head. "The only thing I'm trying to win is this battle...-" Though she was suddenly cut off by a loud pop, and out from her bag emerged her Wobbuffet who snapped into a salute next to her. "Waaaaabbuffet!" "Weezing, fire a Sludge Bomb." Though she seemed to ignore the Wobbuffet who stood beside her motionless.

Her Weezing floated back up once again, yet it's physically condition didn't seem so good after so many powerful attacks - though it valiantly spat out a volley of high speed sludge attacks directed towards the opposing Metagross, splattering all over the solid steel body.

"Umm...Poison attacks don't work on steel pokemon. It's like electric attacks to ground pokemon." Hayato shrugged his shoulders. "But now I need to give Metagross a bath, but I digress. Bullet punch." Metagross ripped across the distance between the two pokemon. Metagross flung his heavy metal feet at blinding speeds and repeatingly attacked the Weezing. Hayato scratched his head, wondering if there was a strategy behind the sludge bomb, or if she just made a beginners mistake.

"That's what you think..." she chuckled, as Weezing took it's own initiative to float up, and out of the way of the quick punch attacks of the Metagross - looking in particular at the dirty sludge smeared across it's eyes and knowing it's vision had to be impaired.

"Weezing..." she paused as the Poison gas Pokemon turned to glance at her, and simply gave it a nod as it slipped behind the Metagross quickly.

"Flamethrower, go!" she called out, as Weezing unleashed another powerful fire attack - this time behind the Metagross.

"If it moves, track it from behind!"

Hayato stood there silently watching the battle. Metagross turned around and flew under the flames. The flamethrower caught the top of the body and the fire started to spread. He caught the Weezing while it was shooting the firey attack and forced it to the ground. The flamethrower was now beating against Metagross, but he still endured. He started to glow white. An instant later there was a large shift in energy and pressure. A giant cloud of sand was spread throughout the battlefield as Metagross exploded.

At the intense Explosion, Weezing was sent flying back as it hit the ground before Beatrix's feet. She knelt down beside it, and placed a hand on the Pokemon's body. "I'm sorry if I pushed you too hard, Weezing...but you did a great job." Picking up Weezing's Pokeball, she recalled it back to the confines and slipped it into her bag, before withdrawing Gengar's Pokeball.


"Your turn again, Gengar!"

"I'm sorry Metagross, you know I hate having you use that attack." Hayato walked over to Metagross and took out its pokeball. "Take a rest, we'll get you washed off later." The steel pokemon was whisked back into his pokeball. "The only one that stands a chance then. Go Jolteon." A small yellow dog burst out of a pokeball in Hayato's outstreached hand. "Thunderwave, lets start the speed control." Jolteon body started to pulse with energy. The hairs on its body stuck up light needles and a bolt of electricity flew from its body smacking Gengar straight on. "This is the only pokemon I have that isn't tired from its training. I'm not going to hold back with this one."

"Double Team!" commanded Beatrix, as Gengar began to multiply into circles around Jolteon, leaving one of it's clones in the confines of Thunderwave.

"Gengar!" it laughed, before awaiting it's next command.

"Hypnosis, go."

No less than a second after the command was given, Gengar's shadows disappeared, and it's eyes began to glow a deep red as it captured the Jolteon in the energy, attempting to lull it into a deep sleep.

"Bite, then agility, don't let it put you to sleep." Jolteon ran straight into the Gengar. It bit the gas pokemon, causing it to close its eyes and kept on running. Jolteon started to glow pink and doubled in speed. "If you won't slow down, we'll speed up."

"Then let's up the tempo, Gengar use Shadow Punch, go"

Gengar avoided the bite attack barely by hopping to the side, though it then disappeared, and reappeared before Jolteon's path, and sent it flying with a powerful shot.


"I've trained this one exceptionally for many years...it won't go down easily." she warned.

"I would expect that from a top notch trainer such as yourself. Jolteon, shock wave then agility". Jolteon flipped around in the air as it was hit, landing on its feet. A stream of electricity flung out of its protruding hairs and collided with Gengar straight on. It started glow pink once more and started ripping through the sand towards Gengar. "Thunderwave, again." A shockwave of electricity flung out of the pokemon at a break neck speed. "Even if Gengar uses double team it won't be able to dodge it on the ground. Thunderbolt it down if it tries to float away Jolteon."

"Hmm..." she paused, watching as Gengar was held still by the wave of electricity - though it didn't seem to be in much pain yet, it would be if exposure to it was prolonged.


"Counter attack with your Hypnosis to break the electric field, and then use Shadow Ball!"

Gengar's eyes began to emit an eerie glow once again towards the Jolteon as it forced the other Pokemon to cease it's Thunder wave attack, and then another shadowy blob materialised before Gengar's hands, and then it was fired towards the Jolteon, striking it perfectly.

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"Are you okay? You don't look to good," Hoshi asked with concern.

"Damn it. Jolteon, rain dance and wish." The lightning pokemon started to run around and clouds started to form. The previously bright sky turned dark and rain started to poor down. It also started to glow white. "While we wait for wish, use thunder." An enormous bolt of lightning flew down and crushed the Gengar. Hayato gave a light smile. "Thunder becomes immensly more accurate when its raining."

Koutetsu just shook his head no and sat down on the bed. He sat there listening to the sounds of the room for a minute. He flung himself down on the bed and covered his face with his hands. "Why am I so useless? If I wasn't it never would have happened. GOD DAMN IT!" He picked up a pillow and flung it across the room. He flopped over on his stomach in a vain attempt to hide from Hoshi.

"Gengar, use skill swap, and make it quick!"

There was a sudden wave of energy summoned that surrounded both Gengar and Jolteon, before they were exchanged just in time for the Thunder attack to connect.

Despite the intensity of the attack, Gengar stood proudly with it's arms folded across it's chest, and displaying a large grin as it was re-energised by the attack.


"Your Jolteon's volt absorb came in handy, I thank you. Now Gengar, hit it with a Shadow Ball."

Gengar laughed once again, and began to conjour another dark blob that was fired at Jolteon, hitting it perfectly.

"Nice, thank you. Super speedy flying Jolteon. It's like you knew hitting you was difficult for me so you made it easier. Wish, and bite inbetween." Jolteon's first wish came true and its bruises were healed with the magic white light. Jolteon took off into the air, flying over the sand almost invisable. It rammed into the Gengar and bite time and time again, while another white light was starting to appear around Jolteon.

"Gengar, now use Skill Swap again to slow it back down, and then use Hypnosis to stop Jolteon in it's tracks!"

Though in her mind, Beatrix was absolutely certain that the Jolteon would somehow be able to evade the sleep inducement once again, it was merely a ploy to get close to the lightning Pokemon so she could set up her next attack.

Gengar executed it's Skill Swap once again, and returned into the air as Jolteon crashed to the sands below, whilst it's eyes began to glow a dark crimson to initiate a Hypnosis attack, though the glowing suddenly stopped, and the purple ghost Pokemon began to wag it's fingers hypnotically.


"Use your Metronome attack, and make it count!"

Normally, Beatrix would not rely on such an attack - though desperate times called for desperate measures. Her eyes met Gengar's as it finished swaying it's fingers, and a mischievous grin crossed it's features.

Lowering it's fingers, Gengar lifted it's right foot from it's floating state, and them slammed itself down into the ground to cause a powerful Earthquake attack that split the ground around Jolteon's feet, and then shaking the whole island to it's core.

"Great job Gengar!"

"You should know, I love to keep tricks up my sleeve. Magnet rise then bite." Jolteon started to glow yellow and floated above the ground. The Jolteon flew over to the Gengar who was caught in the process of earthquaking. Jolteon sunk its teeth into Gengar's gastrous hide. Hayato smiled knowing he finally got an advantage. I've been waiting for you to either slow down or make a mistake. Jolteon, Shadowball and then thunderwave." Jolteon shot out a black ball of void out of his mouth straight into Gengar's torso. As soon as the ball hit the ghost, it shoved a jolt of electricity into the pokemon. Jolteon then flipped backwards, riding on the electromagnetic pulses and floated above the ground a few yards back from Gengar.

Gengar, through it's own intuition used Protect to shield it from the lightning attack before floating back into the air to follow Jolteon.

"Hypnosis, put it to sleep, and do it now!" commanded Beatrix, clenching her fists at her side as Wobbuffet remained still, one arm up and over it's head with it's mouth wide open.

Gengar obeyed, closing in on Jolteon to execute a Hypnosis - this time connecting, and sending the Jolteon into a deep sleep, whilst still in midair.

"...Dream Eater attack".

Gengar pulled back it's right arm, before executing a punch several meters from the Jolteon before sending it forward, and a purple glowing that ensnared the slumbering Jolteon's body, and then there was a flash as the life force began to drain from the lightning Pokemon, back into Gengar who was partially refreshed by the action as Jolteon continued to sleep - still under the effects of it's own Magnet Rise.

"I'm afraid every time you dodge an attack, your Pokemon still expends energy...so you cannot keep dodging forever."

"Oh snap! I'm more late then I thought" Craig said laughing, clinging hard onto Charizard's neck.

"ROAR!!" Charizard roared, with his wings spread open over the great blue sea. Craig looked down at the water seeing his reflection. Craig with his aviator sunglasses and his black clean hair flying in the wind. As the team was almost at the island school.

"Remember Charizard, we work hard, so we can be the best" Craig yelled as he checked his Pokedex for the time. As Charizard and Craig slowly got closer to the water. He notice that there was no one around.

"Lets land on the dock and we will head to are room." Craig said as they beguine to land.

"There's no point in trying to stall anymore, I used up just about every trick I have with this pokemon too." Hayato whistled and Jolteon woke up. The pink beam was ripped off of Jolteon. Jolteon glowed pink itself for one last speed boost. "Let's finish this, Shadow ball and Thunder trap." Jolteon literally disappeared from sight. All that remained was a cloud of sand being thrown up. A tornado of sand started to surround Gengar. The gas pokemon started to budge slightly from the wind being summoned around it. A turrent of shadowball came from all different points, and different speeds out of the tornado. The sky cracked with an enormous amount of energy and five different bolts created from Thunder crashed towards Gengar. "Skill swap will stop the thunder, but not that many shadow balls, and dodging that many shadow balls will cause you to be hit with the thunder. Protect might be protect, but it won't even stop that much." Hayato looked up at her with the first sign of concern and fear during the entire match. "If you do find a way out, do me a favor and don't attack. If you survive I forfit. I already pushed Jolteon way beyond it's limits, it's already hurt, just from the amount of energy it's using now. I don't want him to be hurt anymore."

(OoC: I have no idea what that attack was, but I'm fairly certain it isn't legit. Basically you used Sandstorm, Thunder, and Shadow Ball all in one. It'd be a great thing to remember that you can't win them all. It's been an interesting battle, but everyone has to lose at some point.)

"Gengar, use Protect to block the Shadow Balls, and then follow up with Dark Pulse to stop the Thunder!" Beatrix knew it was a tall order, yet she would rather have Gengar be tired than hit with so many maneuvers.

As Gengar battled it's way out of the flurry of powerful attacks, it stood proudly before suddenly Beatrix called to it.


"Gengar, stop. This has gone far enough." she paused as Gengar turned towards her with confusion etched into it's features as she raised the Pokeball to face the ghost Pokemon.
"I would be happy with a draw. We owe it to our Pokemon as trainers to know their limits, and should we exceed them, we have no right to call ourselves their masters, or their friends. Gengar, return."

Gengar frowned, though it obediently allowed itself to recalled to the Pokeball as Beatrix glanced towards Hayato's Jolteon.
"Your Jolteon is a tenacious opponent, but it needs to rest."
She turned, glancing down at Gengar's Pokeball with a faint smile, before raising it to her lips and kissing the red half of the sphere, and then whispering to it. "You battled superbly Gengar, I'm very proud of you, Houndoom and Weezing - Thank you".

She then set off across the sands towards one of the beaches, placing Gengar's Pokeball into her bag along with her others.

OCC: There was a reason it was an insane attack. It was an insane attack for an insane battle. You are an amazingly creative person and fun to boot. I knew you would find a way out, so it needed a nice climax for nearly 3 pages. Congratulations, no fight after this will be as fun :)

"Wow..." Jolteon plopped itself down on the sand in which it stood. Hayato walked over and petted its soft fur. "That was amazing. I couldn't ask for a better Jolteon." Hayato picked up the small form and gave him a hug. "Love you, hope you know that." The Jolteon licked him happily on the face and yipped. He just fell back and lied on the sand. "Alright Nite, Let's see that T-tar."

Turning around, she watched with a nod as Hayato embraced the Jolteon before smiling, and continuing on her way towards the beach, Wobbuffet shuffling behind her - where once she arrived, she released all of her Pokemon from their confines, including the weakened Houndoom and Weezing, and also Gengar who cocked it's head at her in confusion - as if wondering why she stopped the battle.

"Nobody would have been a winner in that battle Gengar, why do you think I forfeited for Houndoom against the Swampert? Not because it had a clear type disadvantage, but I knew that pushing it until exhaustion would cause it to resent me...I would have done the same in a league contest. Losing doesn't bother me, unless I was losing one of you all."

Gengar frowned, though it soon nodded in understanding and lay back on the warm sand with a smile. "Gengar!"
Chuckling, Beatrix knelt down to Houndoom after withdrawing a medicine spray bottle from her bag, and patting it gently as it sat down - where Vaporeon soon joined it.

"Just relax, it may sting for a second, but stay tough, okay?" she assured, spraying one of the gashes on Houndoom's body as Vaporeon nuzzled her head against the Houndoom affectionately - it didn't wince once from the potion, and lay down alongside Vaporeon on the sands.

Next up was Weezing, Beatrix stood up after taking out a tube of ointment from her bag, and squeezing a small amount onto her palm before reaching up to rub it on the poison gas Pokemon's round body. "Luckily you didn't take so much of that Explosion, which reminds me I'll have to pay him a visit to ask about his Metagross.".

Once Weezing's injuries were seen to, Beatrix sat down on the warm sand next to Arbok, which was coiled up comfortably and patted it's scaly body lightly, whilst Blissey made it's rounds to check on Houndoom, Gengar and Weezing.

"Nice fight! I wish i had my camera with me! Anyways, here is my tyranitar, Quake" An red flash hit the sand, and an enormous tyranitar came out, stomping his feet in the sand."I am very proud of this dude, he almost knows every possible move an tyranitar can teach, He is EV trained, and every day he trains with me. This guy is my last resort. It took my dad two whole days to teach him how to use blizzard properly, But...We didn't regret it, Right Quake?" "Ty!". When Quake yelled, the sand of the beach started whirring up, making an huge sandstorm. "Oh, but i sure do hate sand stream...Every time i get him out to feed him or hug, I get sand in my eyes. If you want, you can touch him, or ride him. He even carries the weight of an Onix".

[Pikachu Hoshi]

"Don't feel bad. I mean you stopped Saturn from do anymore damage... right," Hoshi said, "Anyways I don't think you are useless."

Hayato set Jolteon in the sand and the small pokemon strecthed out and let out a yawn. Hayato ran his hand over the Tyranitar and inspected it closely. "It is an exceptional Tyranitar. I hope when we do battle this thing comes out to greet me. I just hope you give it one of these." Hayato reached into his pocket and pulled out a red berry. It was very warm and was shaped similar to that of a dome. "If there is one downfall to the mighty Tyranitar its the large fighting weakness that comes with rock-dark typing." Hayato tossed it over to Nite, who fumbled with it for a few seconds before firmly grasping it in his hand. "I don't know if you have a chople berry already, but another one will never hurt. Anyway if you don't mind I have to go back to my dorm real fast, and take care of my pokemon. Ugh... they took a bad beating." Hayato smiled as slowly walked off to his dorm, Jolteon slowly walking alongside him.

Hayato opened the door to room two and he was greeted by all the pokemon who had a chance to sleep in today. He frowned slightly before he released all the pokemon who battled today. Blissey saw how bad they were and immediately went to work fixing them up. Umbreon saw Jolteon, and immediately ran over to it. Jolteon sat down and Umbreon went to work licking its wounds. Hayato chuckled to himself "Looks like I upset your girlfriend, sorry Umbreon." Hayato sat down on his bed and waited for Blissey to stop applying all the softboiling and potions. "Good job to all of you who fought today, you did an amazing job and I am very proud of you all. You four stay here, the rest will fill in my party for the rest of the day." Porygon-Z happily circled the room, making all sorts of mechanical sounds. Blissey and Dusknoir slowly made their way over to be placed back into their pokeballs. Umbreon looked at Hayato and then back at Jolteon and made a worried whimper, but reluctantly made its way over to Hayato, leaving Jolteon. Hayato got the four pokeballs he needed out of his dresser, called his pokemon back, and walked out of the room.

"I'm not talking about today. You weren't even there you wouldn't understand." Koutetsu was mumbling into his bed, so she couldn't hear him clearly. "Stupid team galactic, I hate them. They... Th... They." Koutetsu stopped and fell silent. Through the muffled sounds rising from the bed, Hoshi could hear Koutetsu crying.

Saturn woke up agian, only to find Jacob still asleep.

"If we wait for this guy to wake up, we will be stuck here all day!"

Toxicroak and Saturn both looked at Jacob, then looked back at each other.

"Should we sneak out? I mean, he clearly is gonna sleep until noon."

Toxicroak looked back at Saturn, obviously as undecisive about the situation as him.

"Then again, I do want to keep my ribs. Let's stay here for a while. If he doesn't wake up in a few minutes, we will just take a walk around the building."

Saturn pulled out a Gameboy from his pocket, and inserted the Tetris gamepak.

"It's a good thing it still works, otherwise I would be bored to death. You know Toxicroak, wouldn't it be hilarious if we were all inside some giant video game. I mean, this could all be some game, and we are just characters inside it."

Toxicroak looked at Saturn strangely.

Toxicroak walked around the room, every once in a while stopping to practice his jabs.


Saturn had just beaten his high score, when all of a sudden, he heard crying. He went outside to investigate, and started following the sound. Saturn looked into one of the rooms, to find Koutetsu, the same guy who had broken his ribs, crying into a pillow.

Saturn felt guilty. He had caused all of this, almost tainted this innocent island. He then remembered the boy who had left him that note, and the pokemon who had tended to him.

"We have to do something Toxicroak, but what?"

Saturn thought about what to do, and remembered something from long ago.

"I remember, that when ever I was sad, my mother would make me soup. It always tasted wonderful, even with our limited food supply, and would always cheer me up. It was soup for the soul. Maybe we could do the same for Koutetsu. I don't know how to cook, but it's always worth a try."

Toxicroak nodded in agreement with Saturn, who was now fumbling around in his pockets.

"Ah, here it is. Before my mother died, she gave me her recipe. I kept it, even though I had no use for it at the time. It was the only thing to remind me of her. Anyways, we could use this to make the soup. Now, let's find the kitchen. I think it's in the fifth building."

Toxicroak and Saturn walked down the corridor, and out toward the fifth building.

Nite gave the chople berry to Quake. "Thanks dude, may come in handy. I gave him an leftovers, but this one may help me too". Nite jumped on quake's back. "Okay Quake, time to swim for ya! if you want to be stronger, ya gotta get over your weaknesses! We did this to grass and ice, now water for those bulky waters". Quake jumped in the sea making an giant splash, and started to swim to an nearby rock. "Try to not make me wet, Then you get some extra nice threats".

Quake stepped out the water, and put Nite down. "Lets see...an half mile, Good! And only my left part of my pants is wet, very good! Okay , Flashbang! flamethrower on Quake so he dries!" Nite threw an pokeball in the air and Flashbang came out, Landing in the soft sand, and using an light but warm flamethrower on Quake, who dried instantly. "Okay Quake, here are some oran berrys dipped in warm chocolate sauce!" Nite took five out of his pocket and gave them to Quake.

Hayato walked back out to the beach, and sat down on the sand. "Gonna to be here all day waiting for those teachers to get here." He looked out in the water and saw Nite and his Tyranitar swimming. "If that Tyranitar knows most moves a Tyranitar can know, it should know surf. Hmm... let's have some surfing fun while we wait. But I need a water pokemon, and Swampert is too tired." Hayato sat down and thought for a second before he reached into his back. He pulled out a super rod and a pokeball. He opened the pokeball beside him and Porygon-Z came out. He flung the line into the water and waited for something to bite. After about ten minutes of waiting something bit. Hayato fought the line for a second before he wanked out a Quilfish. "That's a bit small but I don't have the time to wait around." Porygon-Z struck the fish with a thunderbolt and it promptly passed out. Hayato threw out a pokeball that greedily swallowed the pokemon. It shook a few times before lying on the ground motionless. The ball dissapeared and Hayato had to go retreve it from the computer in his room. He ran back as fast as he could and placed Forretress's pokeball in the computer and it instantly vanished, and after a few seconds of typing and clicking another pokeball took it's place. He held it up for inspection and ran back to the beach. Hayato made it to the waterline and threw the pokeball out in the water and the ballonfish floated on the top. Hayato reached into his bag once more a pulled out a max revive and a small blue disk. He feed the Quilfish the spikey medicine and it instantly woke up.

"Quil...Quilfish" "Hey, welcome to my team. I know it's all of a sudden, but I bet were going to be friends. Can you do me a favor and learn this move?" The pufferfish looked at him and blinked before it happily nodded yes. Hayato held out the disk and the pokemon inspected it. He made a small sigh and turned around. Hayato carefully stepped ontop of the small pokemon. It was just large enought for him to stand, and fortunately the pokemon could retract its poison spikes. Hayato turned around and withdrew Porygon, who was floating on the beach twitching. He turned around and started to give his commands. "Alright go out to where that Tyranitar is swimming." The Quilfish was surprisingly stable, and speedy. It made it out to the spot the Tyranitar was swimming in just a few minutes. He waved and got Nite's attention. "Don't tell me that you didn't teach Tyranitar Surf now." Hayato smiled as he easily kept up on his new poison pokemon.

"Erm, sounds illegal, but...yeah...Not really, it isn't an official move...He just knows how to swim. Does that counts? And how the hell can an qwilfish carry you? If he can carry you, then that qwilfish is one of the strongest alive! Quake knows lots of moves, It took me an year to teach him to swim, and he knows hypnosis, which i teached him...I know it sound really illegal or impossible...But, i could teach one of your other pokemons hypnosis too.
its easy, you just need to put all your soul in your eyes, and try to peer through the enemy's eyes. It may take some time, but no big deal, Eh Quake? I even wrote an 'book': the art of hypnosis. Its an four page 'book' that tells you how to do it. Anyways, Quake, time for you to dive!" Quake gobbled the berrys and jumped in the water, then dived, making another mega splash.

"You would be surprised that a Quilfish can carry someone, if they have enough trust in it, huh buddy?" "Quilfish!" Hayato smiled at the friendlyness of the new pokemon. "But move tutoring for hypnosis would me amazing if you could. Tyranitar can learn surf though. If would only take a day with this HM." He took a blue disk out of his pocket and showed it to night. Hayato came to a complete stop on the Quilfish and turned to face him. "I'd be happy to let you borrow this HM for Tyranitar, and I could borrow the book. Not alot of people know Tyranitar can learn surf, so it would be a big surprise for them." Hayato held out his hand with the disk in it towards Nite.

Throughout the afternoon, Beatrix's Gengar had been restless, and somewhat irritated by the outcome of the battle. Throughout it's several hundred year lifespan, it had never been given the option to forfeit a battle - seeing it as a cowardly way out.
As Beatrix lay dozing in the sun, Gengar rose from the sand, and floated off of the ground to observe it's slumbering trainer.

"Such power...yet no drive to use it. What happened to the ruthless Pokemon Trainer who I aided throughout countless Gyms?". It frowned, holding out it's hands before it as a white aura surrounded the dark ghost Pokemon.

"It's time to help you out, you poor child...Rise from your sleep."
The command rang throughout Beatrix's head as her eyes slid open, pupils dialated as she rose to her feet quickly, and turned to face Gengar.
"Recall the other Pokemon, and go towards the transfer system in the lobby of the main building..."

Without missing a beat, Beatrix picked up one Pokeball at a time, and called the 7 sleeping Pokemon back to their confines, yet leaving Gengar lose as it levitated by her side.
"Good girl, now, onward."

Nodding her head, Beatrix began a slow pace towards the faculty building located just off the beach near the ferry pier, as Gengar floated alongside her.
Upon reaching the system, Gengar disappeared into thin air, yet remained by her side as it first commanded Beatrix to withdraw Arbok's Pokeball, before it was transported away. Next were Weezing's, and then Blissey's, and Vaporeon's.

Back in Lavender town, in Beatrix's Pokemon storage room, four Pokeballs began to glow with a dark aura, before rising from their position on the shelves, and then one at a time, using the Pokemon Transport system before the Pokeballs from the island replaced them.

"These are the Pokemon I wish for you to command, along with Starmie, Houndoom and Wobbuffet...I shall...coach you."
The eerie voice rang throughout her brain again as she picked up the four Pokeballs, and set them into her bag atop the other three, and the empty one Gengar usually inhabited.

"Now...find a battle." The voice instructed.

"Yes...." replied Beatrix aloud, turning from the system and making her way back out towards the beach.

Hayato was surfing around on the Quilfish, trying to pass the time. After jumping a small wave and trying to surf backwards, which failed miserably, he started to head back to shore. He jumped of Quilfish and patted it on its head. "Good job bud, take a rest." Quilfish bubbled happily before it was taken back into its red and white carrier. He looked around; Carl had completely dissapeared, Nite was messing with the HM he had just given him, and someone was coming towards the beach, they were too far away to tell who it was. Hayato took out the 'book' he had borrowed from Nite and started to read it. After a few minutes of studying it he reached into his pocket and pulled out pokeball which he tossed lightly. Umbreon popped out and looked at him with curiousity. She walked over to Hayato and hid in the shadow he was casting. She really hated standing around in the sun, she prefered the night. "We have a golden oppertunity right here. It's how to teach a pokemon Hypnosis, and if Quake can learn it you can too." Umbreon tilted his head, confused on where in the world he would stumble upon something like that. Hayato bent down and started showing the book to Umbreon.

Saturn walked into the kitchen quietly, to make sure nobody saw him. He didn't want to confront the giant cafeteria lady. She looked like she could lift a Wailord.

"OK, Toxicroak, I need a measuring cup. Can you check the cabinets?"

Toxicroak walked to one of the cabinets and opened it, only to find a Munchlax chowing down on a sub-sandwhich.

"how did you get in here? Do you belong to anyone?"

The Munchlax turned and looked at Saturn. He then turned back to his sandwhich and continued eating.

"Well, your not supposed to be in here."

The Munchlax finished off the sandwhich,l and proceded to burp in Saturn's face.

"Ew, your breath reeks! What have you been eating!? Fine, you can stay, but be quiet and don't eat anything else. I don't want to be blamed for your eating."

Toxicroak handed Saturn the cup, which he filled with two cups of water.

"Ok, now I need basil. Can you check the fridge?

Toxicroak opened the fridge and pulled out the green leaves.

"Good, now I need..."

Saturn turned around to find that the Munchlax had found the ingredient he needed.

"You know this recipe?"

The Munchlax smiled and nodded.

"You want to help me? Thanks!"

Saturn spent the next few minutes making the soup. It turned out that the Munchlax not only knew the recipe, but he also knew how to make it taste even better.

We're finally done, guys. Wanna a taste?"

Saturn poured some of the soup into small cups. They all took sips, and found the soup to taste delightful.

"Now, let's bring this to Koutetsu. I hope it cheers him up."

Saturn was slightly nervous. He didn't know how he would react. Saturn walked back to the teacher's dorm. As he passed Jacob's room, he saw that he was still asleep.

"Good, he hasn't noticed. Come on, Koutetsu's room is up ahead."

Munchlax followed behind Saturn. It made Saturn a bit more confident. Munchlax was the first friend he had made on the island.

Saturn turned into the room, and pulled out the warm soup...

As the breeze blew through her hair, Beatrix's normal reaction to fix it was absent as she instead allowed the blonde locks to stir around her head as she continued towards the cluster of figures on the beach.

Through her vision, Gengar watched as they moved closer.
"I...believe that is who we battled earlier. Excellent, I shall relay commands to you via Telekinesis."

Beatrix nodded in response to the voice in her mind as she grew closer to the beach, stopping several feet away before calling out, her words being fed to her by Gengar who reappeared, and stood behind her at her feet.

"I would like a rematch against you...I am unhappy with the conclusion of our battle..." she spoke in a calm, quiet voice, yet her head hung slightly to gaze at the golden sands between them.
"A two on two double battle..."

Koutetsu looked up when he heard someone enter the room. He saw the ex-team galactic member holding a pot, followed by a Toxicroak and a munchlax. He walked over trying to carry himself like a man. He looked into the pot and saw it was filled with soup. Saturn stood there waiting for a response from the man. He felt bad about their first encounter so he walked over to his dresser and wordlessly pulled out a mess kit. "May I have a bit of that soup... It smells delicous."

Hayato looked at her, and knew there was something wrong. She seemed aloof and different. He studied her for a minute, and saw the Gengar behind her floating silently. "I've grown up around pokemon my entire life, you don't think I can tell when you're taking influence over someone. I'll take your challenge, but let her free. I've been possessed before, it's a horrible experience and I don't think you have any idea of what you're doing to her." Umbreon glared at the Gengar and it started to stand on its tip-toes and hiss at the gastrous pokemon.

Beatrix tilted her head to the right, as Gengar tilted it's to the left behind her, before releasing a laugh.

"Gengar...Gengar!" it chuckled, shaking it's head in denial as Beatrix lifted a hand to comb her locks from her face.

"Select your Pokemon, please."

"Sure."

Saturn pulled out a ladle and poured it into the bowl.

"It's my mother's recipe. She gave it to me before she died. Anyways, the Munchlax helped me. Not quiet sure if he's wild or not. Either way, he's a nice little guy. Found him hiding in the kitchen."

OOC: In every media of pokemon a Gengar controlling someone is something anyone can read right off. It's either glowing dark purple, with glowing red eyes, or the person is obviously possessed. I've never even seen any pokemon been able to do something like possess someone without being painstakingly obvious. Anyone on this island would be able to tell. Oh, not to mention the fact that just the comment about unsatisfied with our last fight and wanting a rematch would be completely out of character for one who claimed to have been happy with a tie, and easily would have won the last match.

"Fine then, Porygon-Z, Dusknoir go." A small sizzle of light let out two floating pokemon. One small pink and blue one, and one large black one. "I have no idea what you plan on getting out of this." Hayato readied himself from the onslaught of the Gengar.

"He's wild, that munchlax has been raiding out pantry for a month now. I'm surprised you actually got it to follow, no one has even been able to keep it in sight for more than five minutes." Koutetsu cautiously sipped the soup. It was very good, but it was still pipping hot. He stared into his bowl for a second, and silently raised his head. "You were being pretty stupid when you attacked us, but I shouldn't have hurt you so severly. I have an issue with your little group. Your leader Cyrus, the bastard, took something away from me that I can't get back.

(OoC: This Gengar is a little more subtle about it, he's manipulating her inner feelings about how the battle went in an attempt to get a different result).

Beatrix slowly reached into her bag as Gengar's large eyes followed her movements, withdrawing two Pokeballs and setting the bag down beside Gengar on the ground.

"Gardevoir, Lunatone, go."
As she held the two Pokeballs out in her hand, both of them popped open with a bright flash of light - out from which emerged the Embrace Pokemon, Gardevoir. It's flowing white dress-like body billowing in the wind around it as Lunatone, the Meteorite Pokemon levitated in the air beside Gardevoir.

"Begin." the voice from inside her head prompted.

"Lunatone, use your Ice Beam now, and Gardevoir use Safeguard on yourself and Lunatone. Beatrix commanded, her voice seeming to snap back into battlemode as it was in their previous battle. Her right hand clenched, as he left rested elegantly on her hip as Gengar watched intently.

With a calming sound, Lunatone began to charge it's Ice Beam , and sent it at full power towards the Porygon-Z, while Gardevoir closed her eyes, and summoned up a veil of blue aura to protect herself and her partner in the battle.

"What... Porygon-Z go behind Dusknoir, Dusknoir protect. Porygon floated behind the large ghost while the ghost started to glow black. The ice beam shed off of Dusknoir and Porygon started to float upright. "You didn't have those pokemon when you came on the island. We all pretty much saw what each other had when we got onto the boat when they checked everything we were carrying. Porygon nasty plot, Dusknoir taunt." Porygon was covered in a dark black aura as it started to charge up. Dusknoir was covered with the same type of aura but it just stuck out a single finger and taunted the Gardevoir to join the fight.

"Well, that's not anything new. Anyways, I won't be nosy and ask what it was, but I'm sorry for your losses. I wish that things had happened differently. I could have been a gym leader or elite four. Maybe even a teacher here. Isn't it strange how one decision can alter one's life?

Saturn looked out the window to find another battle in progress. But something wasn't right. It then hit him. "Koutetsu, we have to go now. One of you students is in trouble!"

Calm down, I'm sure nothing is wrong. And it's not like you're life is over, you can be a teacher here if you want, there's openings. He walked over to the window to see what the hell Saturn was talking about. He took a sarcastic glance out the window to see what he was talking about and his eyes grew wide. "Damn it, come on!" Koutetsu grabbed a pokeball off of his dresser and ran outside, only hoping he wouldn't be too late.

"Gardevoir, Psychic power on Dusknoir, and Lunatone use Hypnosis on Porygon."

Gardevoir raised both of it's thin, green arms before it where it began to initiate a powerful Psychic attack, causing it's eyes to glow before unleashing the power - the sheer force of it causing the sands to split as the waves ensnared Dusknoir, and lifted it out of it's own control.

Lunatone's red eyes began to emit a glow of their own as it began it's attempt to lull Porygon-Z into a deep sleep through the use of it's otherworldly power.

"Very good, now Gardevoir, kindly demonstrate the true power of a Psychic Pokemon - use Confusion!"

"You love hypnosis don't you? Porygon magic coat. Dusknoir hold it then pain split on lunatone." Dusknoir listened and was hit by the power confusion attack, but got up slowly surviving with his immense defense. Porygon-Z glowed a bright pink and the hypnosis attack did nothing. Lunatone then glowed with a ghostly aura as its health was being shared with Dusknoir. "Porygon, shadow ball lunatone." Porygon-Z twitched with distinct movements, its head and arms raised straight up and a black ball of energy was formed. Porygon aimed straight towards lunatone and the attack shot off, smacking into the Lunatone straight on.

Saturn and Koutetsu ran towards the beach. He hoped it wasn't too late.

"I've seen this before, in one of Team Galactic's experiments. The results were horrible. Not only does the pokemon have complete control over the trainer, but if they are posessed for too long, thier minds will fuse and become inseperable. The only way we can stop it is if either Gengar is knocked out or if another psychic pokemon intervines. Do you have any psychic types?"

Without skipping a beat, Beatrix called out to Lunatone at the last second before the Shadow Ball hit.
"Lunatone use Reflect, and Gardevoir use Focus Blast on Porygon!"

Lunatone called up a powerful barrier that captured the Shadowball, and sent it straight back towards the Porygon-Z as Gardevoir's Focus Blast came alongside it - both attacks aimed to strike the Pokemon on either side.

"You cannot stop Psychic Pokemon...we can read your every move..."

"Luckily I do." Koutetsu took the pokeball in hand and threw it onto the sand. A enormous Metagross popped out of the pokeball and waited for its commands. "Metagross, try to break the connection between the girl and the Gengar. Saturn, do what you can to KO the Gengar. I'll distraction and hold of the control as long as I can." Metagross's eyes started to glow a potent pink glow. Beatrix's head started to glow the same color pink which was soon mixed with a dastardly purple glow. It was a powerful struggle between ghost and psychic.

"Porygon-Z Tri-attack the focus blast!" A powerful beam of three colors collided with the red blast of energy and stopped it cold. The shadow ball collided into Porygon, but it did absolutely nothing. "Reading someone's moves won't help you if their is nothing you can do. Dusknoir, shadow punch. Porygon conversion 2 on Gardivore." Dusknoir's fist came out of nowhere and collided broadside with the lunatone as Porygon started to glow white making it resistant to fighting moves.

At the attempted interruption to it's telepathic link, Gengar turned with a furious howl as Gardevoir and Lunatone turned their attention away from the battle after unleashing the powerful Focus Blast, and the reflected Shadow Ball before Beatrix turned with them, now ignoring the Dusknoir and Porygon-Z.

"How dare you interfere in our conflict! Gardevoir use Focus Blast, and Lunatone use Ice Beam!"

From her inanimate bag on the floor, a third Pokeball rose all by itself under the control of Gengar, before it landed in Beatrix's hand and popped open.

"I choose you Lapras! Use your Mist!".

From the light emerged the large water Pokemon, and from it's mouth began to flow a dense fog that enveloped the battlefield as Gardevoir and Lunatone were launching their attacks.

Toxicroak, shove a poison jab into the gengar's eye. We will have to play dirty if we are going to save the girl. Meanwhile, Munchlax, go and wake up Hoshi. She's the blonde one with the electric pokemon."

The Munchlax nodded and rushed off into the distance.

"Ok, that's good. Hoshi will be here in a sec to help. Also, Bronzong go! Help Metagross reclaim the girl's mind!"

The pink glow around the girl's head grew brighter, but the Gengar still held control.

Meanwhile, Toxicroak came in close, and jabbed at the Gengar.

"Porygon-Z agility and nasty plots. Dusknoir keep him safe in the meantime." The two pokemon got into formation and started to prepare. "Go Quilfish, hit gengar with a aqua tail, keep going until you can give it the surprise we discussed while surfing." Quilfish jumped straight out of his pokeball and started to attack Gengar. Umbreon, go get that pokemon out of the box, send Blissey home." Hayato handed Umbreon a pokeball before it ran back to the dorm to get the pokemon that might save them.

"Gardevoir, use Confusion on Porygon-Z due to it's new weakness to Psychic power, and then use Calm Mind"

Gardevoir prepared to launch another psychic attack towards Porygon-Z, as Gengar fired a powerful Shadow Ball towards the Toxicroak attempting to Poison Jab it - the powerful blob of darkness hitting Toxicroak at close range before Gengar turned it's attention towards the Metagross, and sent another Shadow Ball it's way as Lunatone used Ice Beam once again to create a frozen wall of ice between Saturn, Koutetsu, and the battle raging between Hayato and Beatrix.

"Oh no you don't! Magmortar go! Melt that ice with flamethrower!"

The pokemon came out of it's ball and blasted fire from it's arm. The wall melted quickly, leaving nothing between Gengar and Saturn.

"Leave the girl alone!", Saturn yelled, "You don't know what you are doing! You both could be fused forever!"

The Gengar just snickered, clearly not caring for her safety.

"We have to stop the battle. Toxicroak, try to tell the pokemon that the girl is posessed!"

Toxicroak ran over to the pokemon to explain what was happening.

OOC: conversion 2 just makes you resistant to a type of attack, not change your type.

"Porygon-Z dodge and..." Hayato never got to finish his command. "Quilfish!" Quilfish made a bold jump infront of Porygon taking the blow. It let the pink aura surround it, but it was also surrounded by a purple aura. He looked up and the Gardevoir was going down to its knee's. The attack was too strong for Quilfish's low defenses and it was knocked out, but it used Destiny Bond to take Gardevoir with it. Hayato looked up with anger on his face, and shouted to Porygon-Z. "Porygon use shadow ball on the Lunatone! Dusknoir, taunt it so it can't use reflect." Porygon instantly reacted, using its agility speed boost to fly over to the Lunatone at a blinding speed. It shoot a shadow ball straight into the meteorite pokemon's body. Dusknoir meanwhile was forcing the Lunatone to only use attack moves. Hayato ran over to Quilfish and picked him up. "I can't believe you did that. God, I hope you're ok." The Quilfish meekly opened its eyes and gave a whisper. "Oh thank you, thank you." Hayato gave his new pokemon a hug. "You're gonna fit in well here." He pulled out the ballon pokemon's ball and returned it so that it could rest. "Shuckle!" Hayato turned around to Shuckle was on his back, but he had moved. Shuckle was now leaving his torso, spinning towards the Lunatone with a silver glow.

Nite jumped on the back of Quake after he quickly used the HM surf.
After quake was in reach of the fight, he putted Nite down, jumped in the air, and came back crashing down, hoping to crush gengar.

Upon noticing the Tyranitar hurled it's way, Gengar turned towards the next interruption, and raised a hand to use it's Psychic power to hold it in midair.
From there, Gardevoir automatically used it's Protect to cast a veil over Lunatone, Gengar, Beatrix, Lapras and itself.

"Stop meddling in my affairs, fools!" admonished Beatrix from inside the protection field, and as it began to weaken from the onslaught of attacks, Lunatone and Lapras directed their Ice Beam attacks towards the floating Tyranitar, Gardevoir executed it's Confusion on the Shuckle that had bounced off of the Protect, and Gengar fired a Shadow Balls towards all of the opposing trainers in anger.

"Gah!"

Saturn was directly hit with a shadow ball, throwing him onto the beach.

"Protect can't last forever. Toxicroak, climb on top of Tyranitar. When the Protect fails, jump and use poison jab from the sky."

"Also, Bronzong, we need more power."

The Bronzong strained to strengthen his control over the girl's mind.

"That's it!", Saturn yelled, "Gengar isn't strong enough to hold control alone. Those psychic pokemon are helping."

"Hayato, we need you to knock out those pokemon so we can take out Gengar. We only have a certian amount of time to do this, so give your all!"

"Flamethrower to counter that move Quake!" Quake melted the ice beam half in its way with an flamethrower, that got through and hit the protect. "Tyranita! the psychic holding Quake shattered, and Quake fell down, with Toxicroak still on it."Protect may protect from damage, but you still can grab them quake!" Quake grabbed the gardevoir who was trying to block Shuckle, and threw it on the sand, burying her in it, making her incapable of doing anything. "Quake, give shuckle an boost!" Quake grabbed shuckle, and threw it like an shuriken to gengar, with such an great power that it made an air slash.

"Toxicroak, now! Knock that Gengar aside with a poison jab from the sky!"

The Toxicroak jumped off Quake and pulled his fist back. As he neared Gengar, Toxicroak thrust down towards the Gengar while shuckle collided with his torso.

Carl watched his Pokémon playing. After the battle against Hayato, Charmeleon and Bronzor deserved their rest. Dratini was swimming in the sea. Carl looked behind and saw two trainers fighting again. He sighted. Would that meeting at least this month or this year? He heard a help scream from his small Dragon-Pokémon.
Dratini! Carl yelled. Dratini flew through the air and dove into the water. on the place where Dratini was was now a Mantyke.
Mantyke, a water-Pokémon. Might come handy in this resort. Dratini let's capture this one..

Hoshi was in her room. Her pikachu and Raichu was sleeping by her side. She felt something poking her.
"Sparky move your tail," Hoshi said. The poking didn't stop. Hoshi open her eyes and saw a munchlax. She just stared at it and sat up. She should be freaking out that there was a random pokemon in her room but she was half asleep.
"How did you get in here," Hoshi said. The munchlax started to tugged on her sleeves of her PJs and pointed at the door.
"Something is wrong... Star, Sparky wake up," Hoshi said as she jumped up and got her brown vest and shoes. She followed the munchlax and saw Saturn, Koutetsu and a student. If looked like they were fight a Gengar.
"Koutetsu what's going on," Hoshi asked.

"Metagross use Meteor Mash on the Lunatone." "Dusknoir shadow sneak, Porygon shadow ball, both on the Lunatone. Shuckle use gyro ball on Gengar." Shuckle spun at the Gengar with immense speed, getting ready to hit it straight on. "Thanks for the boost Quake. Let's see how the Gengar fairs." Dusknoir shadow stretched out and struck the Lunatone knocking it off balance. Metagross slammed into the Lunatone and knocked it further off balance, at insane speeds towards Porygon. Porygon twitched as it let off a large ball of ghostly energy, which smacked right into the Lunatone. "Dusknoir use pain split to weaken the Lapras, Porygon use conversion 2 one Dusknoir first to get your normal typing back." Porygon started to glow white, changing it's type back to normal. Dusknoir and Lapras was covered in a black aura as their health was being equalized.

"Quake Use mega punch on Lunatone!" Quake jumped over to lunatone while he still was off balance, slamming him further away. "Come on Crush! Help with the fight!" In an second an aggron stood in the sand, using iron tail on the lunatone who came by, slamming him back to Quake again. "Come on guys! lets play an game of Lunatona-pong!" As lunatone came near to Quake again, Quake used another Mega punch on it, which slammed it to Crush again, who used iron tail and slammed it to Quake again. "You too Tyrant, come out to enjoy!" Tyrant came out of his pokeball, using Crabhammer on the lunatone, so they slammed it to eachother in an triangle. "Punch, Tail, Hammer. Punch, Tail, Hammer. Punch, Tail, Hammer..." The trio kept using it on the helpless lunatone. "Okay Guys, you know what to do now!" Quake started to give an slight blue glow, and an blizzard engulfed Lunatone, Piercing it with icicles and covering it in snow, freezing it and letting it fall to the ground. Crush's Mouth started to blaze, and fired off an Fire blast, scorching lunatone and melting the ice and burning lunatone. Crawdaunt used rain dance and Made Lunatone wet, as well as making the accuracy of thunder 100%. "Quake, Crush, Thunder!" An giant thunder cloud formed about Lunatone, Bombing it with an double Thunder, dealing extra damage because lunatone was wet."I hope that kills him".

OK, Let's do it Dratini, use Dragon Pulse! Carl said and a blue beam was shot to Mantyke and send it back. Mantyke answered with a powerful Surf attack.
Water Pulse, let's go. A blue sphere was created before Dratini's mouth and it was shot on Mantyke and it hit. Mantyke became confused.
Good job, Dratini, lets try it, Poké Ball, go! Carl said and he released an empty Poké Ball which absorbed Mantyke. The Poké Ball was slapped on the beach by Dratini's tail. Mantyke struggled a bit with the Poké Ball, but it gave the victory over to the Poké Ball.
Allright, we got a Mantyke! Carl said happy and he returned to the meeting place.

Both shuckle's and toxicroak's hits had landed. Gengar, unfortunately, was still standing, err, floating.

Saturn then heard a voice turned around and saw Munchlax had gotten Hoshi.

" I don't have a lot of time to explain. The Gengar is posessing the girl, and we need help taking him down. Do you have any psychics or sub-psychics in your party? If not, just help Hayato! We need gain control of her before Gengar and the girl's minds fuse permanently!"

"Metagross, go back to trying to sever the Gengar's control."
The Metagross went back to its origanal task, and stood beside Saturn's Bronzong and tried to tried to rip the girl's mind free. "Hoshi-sensi, if you're an expert on electric pokemon help Porygon-Z take down the Lapras. Porygon-Z use thunderbolt on Lapras, Dusknoir night shade on Gardevoir, she is still concious and contrubutes to Gengar's control." Porygon shook while concentrating electricity in its body, after shooting it out in an intense beam, the electricity corsed throughout the transport pokemon. Dusknoir hovered over to Beatrix's Gardevoir's 'resting place' and forced a frightning energy into the ground.

Hayato felt something tug at his pant leg. Looking down afraid it might be something dangerous, it was Umbreon and a pokeball in the sand below it. "Oh, thank you, we should be able to win this fight now. Go use dark pulse and the Gardevoir, its over where Dusk is." Umbreon ran over to Dusknoir and emitted a purple shockwave from its mouth. It hit the Gardevoir and Umbreon kept up the onslaught. Hayato picked up the pokeball and chucked it towards Gengar. "Go Espeon, rip apart Gengar's control of the girl's mind." A large burst of light exploded and a white pokemon stood infront of him. It has a tail with green fluid all over it and a green paw print on its back. It had black bands on it hands, what appeared to be a hat and an awfully confused look on its face. Hayato looked at it and his jaw dropped. "Damn it, Umbreon accidently pulled out the wrong pokeball. What to do what to do..." Smeargle looked back at him with a worried look, waiting for it's instructions. Smeargle clapped his hands and pointed at the Gengar. "I'm an idiot, thank you Smeargle. If he has control then use it against him. Transform!" Smeargle body started to shake and break apart. His coloring turned from white to purple, and his form became gastrous. Smeargle had transformed into Gengar. "Break the control, it's three to one. We can do it." Smeargle floated over and placed itself carefully between Metagross and Bronzong, moving its hands in a circular motion and eyes glowing red.

"Your Smeargle sketched Transform from a Ditto. Pretty smart."

Saturn looked back at Munchlax. He had dissepeared.

"Great, Munchlax is taking advantage of the battle so he can raid the..."

Saturn then saw Munchlax running back with a pokeball in hand.

"Munchlax, you didn't!"

Munchlax tripped and out bursted Espeon, who ran to his trainer's side.

" Whew, for a second there I..."

The Munchlax had dissapeared agian.

"It figures..."

"Ok... random Munchlax found Espeon, but I'll take it. Espeon, assist in ripping the Gengar away from Beatrix." Espeon stood up on its tip toes and hissed. If Espeon hated anything it was a ghost pokemon expecially Gengar's. It's gem on its forehead started to glow with an growing intensity, and Beatrix's head glowed completely pink, as all the purple was wretched away.

"Good job Hayato!"

Saturn grinned. It was almost over.

"Beatrix, we can only hold him off for a few seconds. Call Gengar back to his pokeball!"

Hoshi looked at the student requesting her assistance, and shocked it took her a second to register what he had asked for. She snapped back to reality and gave her pokemon commands. "Sparky, Star, use thunderbolt on the Lapras." Both of the electric mouse pokemon ran over and their cheeks started sparking. They shared their energy with each other and gave off as much electricity as they could. "We have only a little longer, Beatrix must be in shock from being controlled for too long." Hayato looked at Beatrix and then at everyone around him. "Porygon, cover me." Hayato ran as quickly and as low to the ground as he could to Beatrix. Porygon quickly ended it's thunderbolt attack and flew to aid it's trainer. Gengar seeing the worst interuption to its plan tried to stop Hayato with it's psychic powers, while struggling to regain control. Porygon's eyes started to turn pink and they stopped Gengar's powers from slowing them down. Gengar fired a shadow ball to hit the trainer as a last resort, but Porygon flew in front of the attack making it just roll of its body. Hayato ran to Beatrix, forced to grab onto her to stop himself from running past her. He forced his hand into her bag, while Porygon set up a light screen and prepared to stop every attack the Gengar could muster. Hayato rummaged around the bag until he found the empty one that belonged to Gengar. Gengar disappeared and reappeared by Hayato's side and punched him to the ground, also taking Beatrix to the ground with him. Hayato flung his hand up with the empty pokeball and a red light surrounded the Gengar, forcing it back to the confines of it's pokeball.

"It's over Koutetsu. The connection has been severed and Beatrix is safe. But what do we do about Gengar? We have to seperate him from Beatrix but we can't just keep in there forever."

Saturn looked around to see if anybody had an answer. Everybody was deep in thought except Munchlax, who had come back with some popcorn.

"Hoshi, since your the headmaster it has to be your decision. So, what do we do now?"

Hoshi sighed and looked down at the two students on the ground. "Well its Beatrix's Gengar, but it's too dangerous to leave alone. I want this pokeball under survalence by every pyschic pokemon we can muster, before Beatrix wakes up and makes her decision." She looked around at the other trainers on the beach and they all seemed to be ok with the decision. "I can lend my Metagross for now." "And Espeon is available to help." Hoshi walked over to Hayato and helped him to his feet and took the Gengar. She also took out Lapras, Gardevoir, and Lunatone's pokeballs and placed them with Gengar's. "I'll put this in the safe in the fifth building. Saturn if you can spare your Bronzong please bring it by." Hoshi slowly walked off to the fifth building, with the two psychic pokemon following her. "I'll take Beatrix to the infirmary, I can't help but feel partially responsible for this." Hayato recalled all of his pokemon and slung Shuckle over his back. Everyone watched sadily as Hayato picked up Beatrix and carried her over to the fifth building. Hayato stopped off and switched Quilfish's pokeball for Blissey, since the ballon pokemon needed the rest. Hayato also returned Dusknoir to their home to watch over Quilfish with Forretress. Hayato sat on a chair overlooking Beatrix in the infirmary bed, as the nurse occasionally stopped by to check her vitals. Hayato kept a watchful eye on her, hoping this would help heal his shame.

"If we could, we should do shifts for each pokemon. That way, Gengar is under constant watch, and we have time to spend with our pokemon. Bronzong, I think that you should take the first shift."

Bronzong floated over to the fifth building with Hoshi and sat himself in front of the safe.

"So, what do we do now? I've got soup if anyone wants. It might be cold now though."

Koutetsu walked into the room and addressed Saturn's question. "Well Hayato probably won't be able to stop in for his Espeon. I stopped in, I think he feels guilty that he didn't do more to help Beatrix. I vote Hoshi takes care of the meeting and Saturn and I stay here and watch the Gengar." "Alright, but keep all of the pokemon out, I don't want anymore problems with the Gengar. Ugh... all these problems give me a headache." Hoshi walked to the meeting hall and announced that all students and teachers except for Beatrix, Hayato, and Koutetsu were to meet in the fifth building.

"Why don't we just talk to pass the time. As for the soup your Magmorter can just heat it up. You did a good job today." Koutetsu sat down on a crate in the storage room and smiled at Saturn.

"Thanks, but first I need to do something. Meet me by the north beach."

Saturn walked toward the fifth building. As he turned into the medical wing and proceded to find Hayato sitting Beatrixe's room. Her heart beat was normal, and she wasn't in pain. Saturn walked over to talk to Hayato.

"You know you saved her life, right. We couldn't have done it alone."

"But I should have done so much more. I shouldn't have accepted her challenge, I thought if I fought the Gengar would let go. I should have overpowered the pokemon and went straight for the Gengar. She shouldn't be in this condition. It's my fault." Hayato didn't even look at Saturn, he just looked at Beatrix, filled with the same that he made a stupid mistake that could have cost the girl her life. He looked at the ex-team galactic member with eyes filled with shame, sorrow, and guilt. "Have you ever had someone's life in your hands. Someone who that you made the wrong choice that they had to suffer. How can she forgive me? How can I forgive myself?"

Nite returned Quake, Crush and Tyrant back to their pokeballs. "So, its over?" Nite stepped over to saturn, and it seemed Nite was an little big bigger. "Woohoo! im bigger then saturn! Aaaanywaaays, Can i have the soup?" Nite took the soup out of saturns hands and let out Flashbang. "I want you to warm this up with an little soft flamethrower, Okay buddy?" an red stream of fire engulfed the bottom of the soup, and Nite took an sip of it. "Hmmmmmm............What is this soup? Its godly!" Nite put the bowl of soup to his lips, and swallowed the soup in one time. "Too bad its already empty..." Nite walked over to the hospital wing, and added this to the sin of Hayato: "you can forgive yourself by knowing this all needed to happen, its dialga and arceus that wrote it in the book of future and time, so there was no stopping it. Things like this happen. If an old building burns down, there is place for an new one. When an forest burns down, the soil is fertilized, in which an newer, bigger and better forest grows. Some thing just need to happen Hayato, somebody has to die to make place for an new baby, just like my grandma...".

"Thanks Nite. I think Hayato needed that. Though you didn't have to finish off the soup. I guess I'll make more tommorow. Oh, by the way, I picked up some poffin in the kitchen. Bring out your pokemon so we can feed em."

Saturn grabbed his pokeballs and tossed them into the air.

Meanwhile Carl sat on a chair on the meeting point playing with his Pikachu.

Hayato looked up at Nite "I'm sorry to hear about your grandmother, if she helped raise someone like you I'm sure she was a wonderful woman."But, Hayato realized that Nite was right. He also agreeded with Saturn that his pokemon were probably hungery. He reached into his poket and dropped his pokeballs to the floor. Porygon-Z, Blissey, Umbreon, and Smeargle all appeared in a blast of light. Porygon floated around Hayato while Blissey, Umbreon, and Smeargle circled around Saturn, waiting for their poffins. Hayato smiled and slipped out of the room, followed by his virtual pokemon. He came back holding a piece of poster board. "Smeargle, when you're done eating, how about we do something nice for Beatrix."

Hoshi stood on the podium waiting for the students and teachers to arrive. One student arrived and sat down. She sighed and watched the child play with his pikachu. She thought with everything going on, that at least some of the students would be awake.

After the pokemon were fed Saturn checked his watch.

"Hayato, Nite, I think the meeting is about to begin. You should probably go now. Beatrix will be fine, trust me. I'm going to get Koutetsu and tell him that the meeting is about to begin. By the way, remind me to find that Munchlax after the meeting. He dissapeared and i can't find him."

Saturn walked out the building and headed toward the north beach. Corsola were playing in the water, taking a break from thier month-long migration north.

I'll have to come back here so I can catch one. I don't have a water pokemon at the time, so a Corsola will be a great addition.

As Saturn neared the north beach, he called out to Koutetsu.

"The meeting is about to start. We'll talk later."

Koutetsu heard Saturn yell. "Alright guys, do not let Gengar out of its pokeball. If it tries stop it immediately. I'll be back soon." Koutetsu started to walk out of the room before he saw Munchlax coming back with a corndog. He picked up the big eater pokemon and decided to take it to Saturn. "Where did you get that, there aren't any corndogs on this island?" Koutetsu walked into the fifth building and put the Munchlax down on the ground. Munchlax stood around waiting for its friend, now munching on a lollipop it had stored.

Smeargle smiled and went to work on the poster vigorously. It made swipes with its tail and let its artistic vision flow onto the page. Smeargle finished and handed the poster to Hayato. "Beautiful thank you. I'm sure she'll like this." Hayato returned Blissey, Porygon, and Umbreon. "I'll let you out so you can stretch your legs. You haven't been outside the house for awhile have you Smeargle?" Smeargle nodded and happily went to Hayato's side. "Come on Nite, lets go. I'll come back to check up on her afterwards."

The sky was starting to turn sunny once again. The clouds were lazily drifting over the island. Small waves were lapping upon the shore of the Battle Island School. A huge ocean liner was approaching the school. The boat was designed for comfort. It was only the best travel for the students and teachers of the school. The boat docked and the crew went to work preparing for the ride home. The crew placed a ladder for the passengers to get onto the shore. New faces were ready to come to the battle island school.

OOC: People who have yet to come onto the island, please come off the boat. It provides a better way for you to appear than, "I've been asleep for two days and just woke up". Thank you for you're cooperation.

"I miss my grandma...She was smart and nice... I got Flashbang from her, my Houndoom. She had an egg, and she gave it to me before she departed to heaven...Anyways, lets go to the meeting. And saturn, make some more soup for me tomorrow okay?" Nite walked out of the building and walked over to the fifth building, where the meeting was. "Okay, Howl, back in your pokeball...Erm, luxury ball. I gotta say the name right. I know you hate it, but if you want, you can stay here, and wait". Howl ran over to the door of the fifth building and lay down. "You stay here, okay? Don't move an muscle, or dare to do anything, ya know, OK?" Nite opened the door and stepped in, then sat down, laying his left leg over his right leg.

"Thanks, Koutetsu. That Munchlax is a bit tricky. I'll have to watch him carefully."

Saturn looked himself down and turned back to Koutetsu.

"Do you have a suit I can borrow? I look like an idiot in this Galactic geddup. The one thing I never got was Cyruse's fashion sense."

"No one will see Shuckle, but what about you Smeargle. Hmm..."Smeargle put its hand to its face and thought for a second. Hayato smiled and pulled out a hat from his bag. "Got the same idea I do Smear." "Smear, Smeargle" Smeargle started to shrink and transform into a black hat with a white strip around the base of the hat. Hayato picked up Smeargle and put him on his head. "Everyone will be none the wiser." Hayato walked into the building and saw Carl. He waved to Carl from across the room, but he was preoccupied with his pikachu. Hayato kept walking and sat down next to Nite. Nite looked over and Hayato smiled at him. "Ready for the meeting?" "Gle."

"Yeah, I have a blue suit that might fit you then one of my generic gray one. But I have suits in just about any color, so you can pick whatever one you want. Cyrus did have a pretty weird sense of fasion, but when you're trying to take over the world thats not a top priotrity I guess. I also have some regular clothes if you don't want to wear a suit." He looked down to think about how to manage the Munchlax but he had already disappeared again. Koutetsu sighed and looked up once again. "You're going to have to carry a fridge on your back or something, cause that Munchlax isn't going to stay in one spot until it becomes a Snorlax."

"What the giratina was that sound?......Can your hat talk! Argh! Demon hat! No joking, i recognized the voice of an smearlge. As long as he don't talks, it wont be an problem". Nite took his bag and opened the first zipper. "Want some sweets? i got everything".

"No, I'm good. I don't know if these two want anything though." A yellow arm reached into a bag and pulled out a carmel covered babiri berry and snaked it into a blue shell. "Shuckle, Shuck, Shuck" A brown tail dropped down from the hat and grabbed a bag of gummi berries, then placed it into the opening of the hat. "I guess they did want some. Shuckle loves berries, and Smeargle is addicted to anything sweet." Hayato laughed a little. "Thanks, if you ever need anything let me know. I have a good stock of every kind of berry you'll ever need, and some nice items."

"I'll take that blue suit. As for the Munchlax, I think there is a special poffin recipe for Munchlaxes. I'll look it up later."

Saturn walked into the building where a few of the students had already gathered. Saturn looked around and saw a hat on top of Hayato. Saturn had a hard time seeing, but it appeared to wiggle every once in a while.

David was on another of his retreats in the wilderness near the school. He remembered the meeting today and checked his watch.

"Ah Crap, I gonna be late" He said, returning all his pokemon except Honchkrow. Grabbing his bags he jumped up onto Honchkrow and the two jumped off the cliff into the sky. Soaring above the dorms, David dropped his bags into the chimney of room eight without even getting off his mount. Landing at the door of the Meeting, David returned his Honchkrow and realeased his Weavile who stood at attention by his side. David Also made sure to pull out the Club sign up sheets from his side bag for the students. Making sure he and Weavile were ready, the two strode into the room.

"Hello everyone my name is David Briars and I will be one of your teachers here at the academy" He anounced to the students.

The entire room began to spin erratically as Beatrix opened her eyes, and then immediately closed them to the nauseating sight. Slowly, but surely her vision began to return to her, despite the splitting headache.

Sitting up slowly, she sat back against the wall to observe a few of her Pokeballs on the dresser, six to be exact. Frowning, she made her way to her feet, and walked across to the spheres, picking up one, and tapping the button on the front lightly to release whichever creature was inside.

From the flash of light, her Gardevoir appeared before her - it's presence soothing, and calm as it nodded towards it's beloved trainer before pointing towards her bed, instructing Beatrix to sit down.

"Gar...devoooir..." it's melodic tones droned out, before Beatrix gave the Embrace Pokemon permission to create a telepathic link.

"Thank you, master...I believe something must be explained to you. Your Gengar placed you under a powerful psychic link to control your actions before forcing you to battle several trainers on the island. It was stopped, and detained by a few of the teachers..."

Gardevoir paused, as Beatrix tilted her head in confusion, before instructing the Pokemon to continue.

"I took the liberty myself of returning several of the Pokemon back to your storage facility at home, leaving you with Lapras, Kingdra, Starmie, Vaporeon, myself, and Lunatone. I also decided it would be in your best interest to be out of a competitive environment for the time being, so I delivered a note to one of the people who run the school requesting for you to be able to be an instructor of Water Pokemon - knowing of your love for them. Lunatone and I remained to keep you safe from Gengar should it be freed, or returned to you when the time is right..."

Beatrix nodded slowly, barely managing to take in all of this information about the last several hours - none of which she remembered.

"Thank you, Gardevoir...Kindly remain in the room should anybody come by? I would like to rest some more, please."

Gardevoir nodded, and began to uniquely use it's Psychic powers to lift Beatrix from her feet, and place her atop the bed gently, and comfortably before fluffing the two pillows from across the room.

"You are welcome, master." came the soothing reply as Beatrix drifted back into her slumber.

Koutetsu, standing by the door of the meeting hall looked to David with a half sense of amusement. "We haven't even started yet, please calm down. Half the students haven't even arrived yet." Koutetsu placed a strong hand on his shoulder. "Take a seat on stage, I'll be up shortly as the rest of the students start to arrive." Hayato looked up at the man with a face of complete shock. "HOLY FLIPPING SHAYMIN, IT'S L!"

David was a little embarressed by the fact that he had made a grand entrance at the wrong time, but when a student walked up to him and said "HOLY FLIPPING SHAYMIN, IT'S L" He burst into laughter.

"Come to think of it, I do look like him don't I Weavile?" Weavile, Not being one for words, simply nodded with a smile on his face.

"Anyways" David said, "Since we haven't begun the meeting yet, I would like to offer the students with a variety of Extracurricular activities. These sheets you see here are the Sign up sheets for a variety of clubs and sports. Anyone who signs up for these activities might get a little extra credit in my class, so I am encouraging all of you too sign up for at least one." He finished layying out the papers, awaiting the entries.

"Lets see......i ain't good at sports...And clubs aren't my favorite thing...I think im gonna pick an sport...But which? Mmmmm....I'm big, so that's one good point" Nite scratched his head and looked at the papers again.

Hayato took a sheet and looked it over, his 'hat' wiggling a bit to try to read the paper too. Hayato gave Smeargle a swift hit and the painter pokemon stayed still. "Hmm... none of the pokemon based learning clubs will keep me that entertained. But this sports club might." Hayato considered the sports club for a second and thought about his pokemon. "It won't be that bad as long as I can switch out pokemon for different sports." Hayato put his hand behind his back and a pen was handed to him by a yellow tendril. Hayato uncapped the pen and started to scribble down his information on the paper.

"Koutetsu, is there a golf course on the island or near it? I used to play back on the Galactic private course. I even won a few company tournaments. If there is, let's play a round. We could use a break after everything that happened."

"Here is the schedule of clubs every week" He said pointing to the board and looking around the room

"Koutetsu old friend, do you by any chance know were my lil' bro Jon is" he asked

"Wilderness survival? Awesome! Of the few things i'm good at, this is one! i'm doing this! Can we use pokemons at the wilderness survival?" Nite stepped over to David waiting for an response."by the way, what is your favorite type?" Nite looked at the weavile from every angle and grabbed out his pokedex. "To think of it, i don't have any information about an weavile". After reading and hearing the whole info of the pokedex, Nite putted him back away.

Weavile stood silently absorbing the attention he was getting from the student "Yes, you are allowed to use your pokemon in my wilderness survival club, what is really fun though is working with them to build shelter, fire and colllect food. To answer your second question, I specialize in dark types." David said pulling out four Poke' balls "Come on out everybody." Spiritomb, Sharpedo, Shiftry, and Honchcrow materialized in the room and went out to size up the students pokemon.

"Yes! We can use our pokemons! It won't be an problem with my trusted partners! And you specialize in dark types? Cool! I like them too! So anyways, what are we gonna do now? Is the meeting over, or does Hoshi has anything to say?"

Hoshi stepped off the stage, looked around and sighed. "Well Nite, I was going to hold a meeting for new students to welcome them to the island and introduce them to the teachers, but only you three showed up. Since you already have meet myself, Koutetsu, and the lazy bum Jacob, and Mr. Dynamic Entry just came, you three are alright to leave." Koutetsu turned to David, and shook his head negatively. "No we don't have a Jon yet on the island. Really besides the three here and the one in the infirmary, there are no other student around." Koutetsu shrugged and turned to Saturn. "There's a golf course around somewhere, I'm not to good, but I'll play a round with you anyway. First let's get you out of those clothes, and we should probably find Munchlax." Hayato handed his paper back to David and turned to Nite. "If you want I can have a quick one on one match against you. After seeing you fight that Lunatone I want to see what you can do." Hoshi sighed once again and put her palm against her forehead. "Fine, fine, just take it outside and don't get hurt. Tomorrow is you're first lesson. I'll leave you in charge of the first one Koutetsu, I'm not feeling well.

"Allright, when can we enter, sir?" Carl asked with his hand raised. He became a little annoyed because everyone was putting their Pokémon in and out the Poké Ball at least every minute.

IC:"Okay then, come on!" Nite ran outside and picked up Howl. "Okay howl, now you are outside, I pick you as my first one!" Howl stood up and looked confused at Nite. "Its okay, we are gonna have an battle against Hayato, so don't worry". Howl spread his legs open, holding himself ready for the fight. "Okay Howl, do your best!" "Gmawrr!".

OOC: Thats fine, I know you're basically the inverse of my time so its fine. But you said "I choose you as my first" which I challenged for a one on one, but we can make it a three on three.

"Smeargle, come out and show Nite what you're made of." Hayato threw his 'hat' up into the air and it transformed back into Smeargle. "Don't forget this." Hayato handed Smeargle a piece of cloth and Smeargle placed it around his neck. The cloth was a sky blue with darker blue triangles, pointing down the cloth. "Smeargle start the battle, you know what to use." Smeargle nodded and turned to Howl. Smeargle pointed at Howl, placed its hand back down to its side, and did absolutely nothing more. Hayato just dropped his head and shook it. "What the crap Smeargle."

Saturn walked with Koutetsu to his room. He heard footsteps and turned around to find Munchlax walking with a fajita in one hand, a lollipop in another, and bowl of rice balanced on his head.

" It amazes me as to how Munchlaxe's can eat so much. Are thier stomaches even big enough to take in all of that?"

Saturn bent down and picked up the Munchlax, who in the time he had been speaking to Koutetsu had eaten the fajita and lollipop and was chowing on the bowl of rice.

" I don't have my clubs, so I guess I'll borrow the loaners for now. You have a post office or Pelipper Mail here, by the way? I'm gonna order some clubs, so I need a PO BOX to recieve em."

"Yeah, we have flocks of mail Pelipper around. We also have so message chatots that we should probably start getting out. You can use my PO box, since I don't think you'll be getting one until you're clear with Hoshi. Anyway first we should stop off at my room to get you some formal wear besides a gray and blue jumpsuit." Koutetsu walked straight into the teachers dorm and straight to room five. He walked straight to his closet and opened it up. "It's not much, but take what you need. My clothes are your clothes, if they fit."

"Hey, here's that blue suit of yours. Looks like it fits too. How do I look Munch..."

The Munchlax was gone...

"Great, he's gone again. I'm gonna have to put him on a leash or something. Anyways, this is good enough. now, let's hit the links!"

"Look good, now if only we could do something with that hair. Anyway the golf course is outside near the edge of the forest. Just let me get something." Koutetsu walked over to his bed and reached under. He rummaged around for a second until he pulled out a bag of golf clubs. "Here we go, haven't really been used in awhile though." Koutetsu threw the golf bag around his shoulder and opened the door for them to leave.

IC:"Oookay...Was that supposed to do something...Anyways, Howl, use crunch!".
Howl jumped to smeargle and clamped his jaws around smeargle's tail, and threw the smearlge away against an tree.

" Well, a lot of dye and hairspray is taken just to keep it like that. There must be a hole in the ozone layer just becuase of me. Anyways, I'm sure it will wash off when I shower. I actually have brown hair under this. Oh, nice clubs by the way. Shame you don't use em much. Come on. Haven't played in a long time, and those loaners are waiting for me."

"Well teaching takes up alot of time, I don't get out much besides training." Koutetsu looked at the clubs in his bag and shook his head. They were as good as new and he never even used them, it was sad to him. Koutetsu walked over to his night stand and picked a pokemon off of the top where his pokeballs were sitting. "I probably need a caddy don't I. It'll only take about ten minutes to walk to the golf course."

Hayato smiled slowly to himself, his first move worked. The Smeargle that hit the tree exploded into a puff of smoke and Smeargle was standing ontop of Might patting its head. Smeargle smiled and kept rubbing his head. Might turned around and saw the Smeargle on his back but Smeargle started to emit a pink light and did an agile backflip off its back. Smeargle was completely unharmed, but its item was now on Might. "Disable Smeargle." Smeargle whipped his tail around and it started to glow blue. Blue rings started to float out of its tail and went to Might's mouth. The rings covered his mouth and disappeared, disabling crunch. "Smeargle doesn't revolve around attacking much. You should know, that item I gave Smeargle was a choice scarf, and the first move was trick. So now Might can't attack, since it was locked into Crunch and then disabled from using it. It can only struggle now." Hayato smiled, he already had an overwelming advantage.

"I'll carry my own clubs. Now, let's put a round in before Hoshi calls another meeting or a student gets into grave danger."

Saturn looked around as they walked to the course. Remembering what he had planned to do, he nudged Koutetsu to talk.

"The Corsola migration stopped onto the island today. I'm gonna catch one after our match. You in?"

"I don't think there will be anything bugging us soon. Hoshi won't be calling another meeting for a few days and..." Koutetsu looked down at his watch, pausing for a second to think. "We have about another eleven hours and thirthy three minutes before another student gets into trouble. Approximately. And actually you could stop and catch a Corsola now, it might be helpful when your ball gets stuck under water." Koutetsu smiled and nudged Saturn laughing to himself a bit.
