[Herp]

After two long years of quietly becoming one of the greatest trainers in the world, and the owner of the Pacifidlog Gym, Herp was brought up with a problem. Team Delta. The New orginization in the link of Magma and Aqua, came into the scene. they plan to Expand the inner bodies of water, such as lakes and rivers. But to do this, they plan to awaken Groudon AND Kyogre. Herp was looked upon to to stop this, but he's gonna need some help. Herp Started pokemon at 10 years old, and began with a Skitty. Since then he travelled around the world, and entered himself in every HOF in the known pokemon world. He had troubles with Delta before, but their plans were always thwarted by him. Ever since they made their appearance near the Lake of Rage, They have become stronger and stronger, but Herp has Stopped them each time they pick them selves up again.. until now... Description: Brown Hair, down to the shoulders; blue eyes, blue jeans cut at the knees, a black tank top, black+hot pink converse shoes, beige bag (similar to the one used in FR/LG by the female trainer).
The activity of Team Delta had reached few in Kanto. Although the Cerulean gym members would have been expected to side with Delta, the leader and apprentance knew better. Misty could not leave the Gym, and Lori needed to level up her team if she wanted a chance at being a successful leader. Lori hopped on a ferry to Lilycove, then surfed the rest of the way on Lapras.

Personality/Background: Understands that patience is a virtue (otherwise, would not be able to stand magicarp and feebas.) Has a loose relationship with her family, and rarely mentions them. Always carries around a baithing suit and Net balls in her bag. Has no desire to become a Pokemon Master, but enjoys training and has a passion for water pokemon. As a result, she jumped at the opportunity to help Herp (so that she could accomplish something of great proportion in the pokemon world.) Since Team Delta is trying to expand the world's water source, she hopes that being a water trainer will come in handy.

Herp had been stocked full of challengers at the pacifidlog gym. It had been a pain since Pacifidlog's Tourist rate flew up because of Delta's activities. All the trainers wanted to be where excitement and challenge was.

"I cant stand much more of this... i need a break to cool down..." he said to himself as the overcrowded gym just got hotter and more unbearable.

ATTENTION! THE GYM WILL BE CLOSING FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE DAY. ALL CHALLENGERS NOT IN BATTLE MUST LEAVE IMMEDIATELY.
Herp set down the loudspeaker mic and watched the gym empty out. "It's about time i get out of here."said Herp."Ill leave tomorrow and put Salik in my place" Herp prepared to leave and turnedinfor thenight.

Herp was riding his lapras out to pallet by sea the following 3 mornings. He had brought all his survival needs, including a good stock of lucky charms. He bypassed many trainers attling it out against each other in fierce aquatic battles. Herp sslightly envied them, all his gym battles were unmatched and short, regardless the number of trainers. He kept on moving until a bold trainer swam in front of him and challenged him to a battle.

"sigh... don't expect a badge if you win..."
"Oh, I won't. Though I DO expect to win."
"Oh? and how's that?"
"You'll see. My rules are single attle 2v2."
"Okay, let's get started!"

Herp jumped, in a rather spectacular manner, off of lapras int the water.
"of course, i choose lapras!" Herp's opponent drew back and...

*** Across the Ocean, in the Kanto region.***

"Please, you gotta let me in! I need his help!"
The guard looked annoyed. "Look, only Champions are allowed in this cave. If you took two steps in there, you'd be done for.."
"But I need his help!" Lori interupted. "I have to get to Pacificlog, but I don't know the way, and Misty wants me to have an escort. Surely a Champion would know his way around the word, and he's probably heard about Team Delta's activities."
"I'm sorry, but there's nothing I can do. I'll tell him you stopped by," he offered, "and I'll send him to the gym, alright?"
Lori's shoulders sagged, and her gaze dropped to the ground. "That's fine. Let's go Lapras."
Lori made her way back to Cerulean, unhappy that she couldn't leave right away. She jumped at the opportunity to leave the city, to travel far away to train, to surpass Misty, and maybe even save the world... but no; I'll wait a little longer...

The porter was cut off by more of Yvonne's angry complaints.

"Ugh! Now its gonna take forever to get there and challenge the Gym Leader..." She sighed,as she knew she'd now have to surf there.
She swished her long brown hair form her face and pulled out a pokeball.
"Come on,Undine." A majestic Milotic appeared,its brilliance evident all around it.

Yvonne seemed almost peaceful now,forgetting that she shelled out $2000 for a ferry ticket and ended up surfing there herself.
Pacifidlog was in veiw,and from further ahead she could hear people battling.
She surfed further and eventually docked in Pacifidlog....

Rocky was worn out at the day's end. He had battled (and beat) around 20 or so trainers trying to battle Morty. Rocky remembered a nasty trainer who had left a burn mark on the wall. As he was scrubbing it, there was a flash on the ground. Rocky grabbed the metal. Accually, it was a medal. It had Team Delta's symbol on it!!!!! He knew it was from the trainer, he had seen an object fall from the trainer's pocket. He thought it was a dime (it was the same size) and thought he deserved some spare change....he rushed to Morty to tell him.....but Morty was nowhere to be seen...just another medal laying by Morty's Pokemon....

Yvonne had made land in Pacifidog at last.She was now quite weary and unfit to battle,so she headed for the PokeCenter.
Her thoughts were filled with painful memories from her past,almost preventing her sleep.ZzZzZzZzZzZzZz
"Yaaaawn...." She stretched out long and slowly after a pleasent sleep.
"Hmmm? What time is it?" She said to herself.
"9:00pm?! It was supposed to just be a short nap...Well,better not waste any more time here."
She went to the front desk to claim her fully healed pokemon.

***Pacifidlog,outside the Gym***

"Come on out,Volt" Yvonne said reaching for a pokeball.
"Jolt!!!" Shouted the Jolteon,emerging from its ball at last.
She approached the Gym entrance and noticed a strange man lurking outside of it.
Yvonne ignored him,thinking him just another citizen here.
"Theres the Gym,Volt" She said peacefully.
"Sorry,but the Gym Leader has left for the day" Said the guard blocking the doorway.
"What? Why would he leave on the same day I came to challenge him? Just my luck..." She said gloomily.
"Well,do you have any idea of when he'll be back?"
"Sorry,I can't disclose that information." Said the guard,looking like thats the 100th time hes said that today.
Just then,the man lurking behind the gym came rushing out,clutching something in his hands.
"Outta my way!" The man shouted at Yvonne as he pushed his way past her.

Herp's opponent threw out a starmie.

"That's your big strategy? A starmie with thunderbolt?"
"H-How'd you know!?" he spluttered.
"Because 1)anyone couldve predicted that and 2) I do the same thing. Reath! Thunderbolt!"

Reath took out starmie without much attempt, and the trainer quickly threw out his next.

"GO! MISDREAVUS!" he screamed as the little purple pokemon came flying out."Use shodow ball!"

"Reath! Counter with Ice beam!"

Just before the ice beam struck, the opposing trainer yelled "MIRROR COAT!" Misdreavus absorbed the attack, and Reath's energy was drained. She suddenly lost conciousness and Herp called her back. He sent out Mertena in a rush and called out an attack.

"Mertena! use dragon claw!"

The Altaria's claw started glowing orange and green. She launched higher into the air, then dived down towards the Misdreavus. Just as she was about to strike, the trainer yelled "MISDREAVUS! USE DEISTIN-"

"Too late." said Herp as Mertena landed on top on misdreavus and stripped it of its Hit Points.

Rocky examined the medal by where Morty should be. It had Delta's symbol on it, but also the location of their base.
"Wow these Deltas are smart..." muttered Rocky.
He ran outside, and released his Crobat.
"Crobat, go to Delta's so-called secret hide-out!" yelled Rocky over the booming of a thunderstorm coming nearer.
Rocky's trip was going smoothly when...He heard the cry of a Salemence. Wait.....Rocky thought....a Salemence...in Johto?!?
He saw a trainer riding it.
"Hey!!!" Rocky yelled, "Your generation isn't suposed to be here yet!!!"
"So? You have a Metagross and Swampert!!!" yelled the trainer, who wore a cloak with a.....Delta symbol embroided on it!!!!!!!!
"Where's Morty?!?" screamed Rocky.
"At our base!!!! We now have Brock, too! Our plan is working!!!! Speaking of, I now have Noman!!!!" yelled the Delta back.
"Thanks for revealing your plans to me!!" screamed Rocky, sending out Metagross to take him down.
"So!" yelled the Delta, sending out a Tyranitar, "A battle it is!!!!"

Eliadon walked away from the Unknown Dungeon, his Wave's poke–ball clutched in his hand. He wanted to go and Challenge a Gym Leader, but he had already taken down all of Kanto.

"Hmm...Hoenn sounds nice," Eliadon muttered to himself, and walked southwards heading off to Vermillion City. He was stopped by a man.

"I challenge you!" he called out.

Eliadon rolled his eyes, and tossed Wave out. It roared, and got ready for battle

[Red.Falcon]

"Tyranitar is specially trained to take down anyone in his way!" yelled the Delta.
"Um.....Is there a Trainer who doen't train like that?" shouted Rocky over the storm, now a mere mile away.
"Quiet, you meddling kid!" shouted the Delta.
"Metagross, use Earthquake!" shouted Rocky.
A giant rumbling noise soon gave way to a huge shaking right under Tyranitar. Tyranitar roared in pain.
"Hey! I was still giving away tidbits of our plan of how we are taking over the world! You can't attack!" screamed the Delta.
The storm finnally poured over them, soaking every bit of land in sight.
"Tyranitar! Use Rain Dance!"
Rocky was speechless. It was already raining, Tyranitar is weak against water.......
"Metagross! Hydro Pump!"
Tyranitar roared one last time and collapsed to the muddy ground.
"Tyranitar! Return!"
"Metagross! Return!"
"Don't worry! I still have one last Pokemon!" yelled the Delta.
As the Pokemon coming out of his Master Ball took form, Rocky's jaw dropped...

"How stupid! Everyone knows that Cerulean City is the home to the strongest water trainer in the whole of Kanto. Most trainers here will want to defeat the Gym, and will therefore carry water type Pokemon!" yelled the man. "By the way, My name id Gregory!"

Eliadon grinned evilly, as Gregory threw a poke–ball into the air. From within the poke–ball shot out a Pikachu.

"Resist!" Eliadon roared in a deadly commanding voice, and Wave obeyed, standing there, glowing blue.

"Pikachu! Take that idiot away from my sight! Shockwave!"

Pikachu shot a shockwave of powerful electricity at Wave, but when the atack struck Wave, the electricity rebounded off Wave, and hit Pikachu. Gregory's mouth fell open wider than an Exploud.

*** Cerulean Gym ***
"What's taking him so long...?"
"Who?" Misty asked. She climbed out of the pool and started to dry herself off.
"My escort. The master trainer. The guy you wouldn't let me leave without." Misty looked a little annoyed.
"Well, if you want to leave that badly, why don't you just wait by the cave until he comes out?"
Lori flashed a smile, gave Mistly a hug, and a final farewell. "Don't forget to write me, and make sure the Delta activities don't endager the people here... or anywhere else if you can help it."
Lori raced off towared the cave entrance again, this time ready to leave Kanto, escort or not.

"Wave, use Bite!"

The Feraligatoer leapt forward, sinking its fangs into the Pikachu's hide. The yellow mouse screamed, but Feraligator kept on attacking until the Pikachu gave way. Stepping backwards, ad looking pleased with itself, Wave glared at the Pikachu until it fainted.

Just then, Eliadon saw a girl running towards Unknown Dungdeon, and she didn't look the strong type.

"Where are you going?" he asked

Lori's heart raced when she saw that someone was outside of the dungeon. She watched him battle from afar; right away, she knew he had to be a Champion. Afraid that he might just turn back inside, Lapras went into a full-out sprint, Lori jumped off and landed on the coast, then ran until she collapsed at his feet.
"I'm... Lori..... Team Delta....Hoenn....I need... your... help," she gasped.

Description/backround: Harobi is known around Lavender town for his sense of humor, temper, and attitude. If someone angers him most likely it will end in a pokemon battle. He has jet black hair that reaches his shoulder, and blue/gray eyes. Most of the time he wears a light green t-shirt and deep blue jeans. Harobi is almost 5 feet high, but he still thinks he is short when compared to other kids. Even though he is young he is a great trainer. He was given a pokemon as a pet on his 7th birthday, and ever since he was interested in pokemon. When growing up he had listened to Professor Oak's pokemon talk show on the radio. He wrote a letter to Oak saying how he loved pokemon and the show. Oak sent Harobi a mareep, several pokeballs, and a note on his 12th birthday. After reading the note he had decided to become a trainer. He set out with his new mareep and some of the family pets to become the best he could be. Since then he gotten all of the Kanto badges and a few pokemon along the way. He took the train to Johto to train his pokemon and to get some new badges.

"Oh, he ain't just any othah Skahmory. He's speciahlly trained." explained the Delta.
"*Sigh* Like your Tyranitar?...."yawned Rocky.
"No!" cried th Delta, "He knohws speciahl attahcks!"
"Why do you all of a sudden have an accent?" cried Rocky
"None ohf youhr beezwahx, leetahl boy! Skahmory, use Hydor Cannon!"
Metagross was pushed back a couple feet by high-speed water coming from 'Skahmory''s mouth.
"Metagross, use Thunder!!!!"
"Grahhh!!!!" A huge bolt of lightning struck down 'Skahmory'.
"NOOOO!!!! My leettahl Skahmory!!!!" cried the Delta, "Youh're dead, leetahl boy!!!!"
"Stop right there!" cried a voice.
"Lance!" cried Rocky. Lance was his old friend from Rustboro Trainer School.
"Yo, Rocky, this man givin' you a hard time?" said Lance from on top of a Dragonite.
"Uh.....Yeah!" said Rocky.
"Don't worry, I'll take him to the cops! Continue your adventure, I'm sure we'll meet again!"
"Gah!" yelled the Delta in a fit of rage, "I woulda gohtten awahy weeth eet too, eef it wahs't fohr that leetel boy!"
"Grahh!" cried Metagross.
"...Ahnd youhr stupeed Metagross, too!"
"Grahhh!!!!"

"That was... boring..." Said Herp as he continued on.
He let out all his pokemon onto Reath's back to be fed.After they were full, Lapras let out a loud cry. Herp looked excitedly to the horizon and saw land!

"About time, that was painfully boring..." he said as the strip of land slowly became more visible...

[DarkDragonite]

A little boy got off the train and stared at the sights around himself. Almost all of the little seats were full as more came to catch the next train to Saffron. He went outside of the busy building and started to wander around looking curiously at all the new things.
"Wow! They have gyms here too!" He said to himself excitedly. He stoped in his tracks when he came upon not 1, but 2 gyms.
"What in the world....?" He thought aloud. A girl came out of the smaller gym with a pokemon behind her.
"Hey!" the little boy said, calling her over, "Where did you get that?"
She skipped over merrily to him. "Why in there of course, silly!" she replied pointing to the first gym. She giggled and skipped along around the corner and out of sight.
I want to get one of those! He thought smiling, and walked into the gym. He was shocked to find ninjas everywhere guarding another huge one behind them.
"This might take a while" He said to himself.

Harobi smiled to himself as he watched the little boy, he had reminded him of himself. Harobi walked over to train as it was about to depart and quickly let out his flaafy.
"Now you be good!" He said warningly to sheeper.
"Fla Flaafy afy Fla" it said happily following Harobi as he got on the train.

Eliadon's mind races. He had no idea why this girl was asking him for help. He was, after all, trying to stop Team Delta...unless this girl was too...

"Ummm...I'd be glad to help you, but first of all, could you tell me who you are? I'm a bit wierd with people I don't know."

She looked rather young to be a very strong trainer, but size doesn't matter...or does it?

Hehe people are already meeting each other! How about we all meet over in Curelean, in a building north of the city. Or if someone else has any ideas. Hmmm... know what? I say we vote! Building, one of the professors at the beginning cities, or something else. Anyway, on to business

At pallet, Herp said hi to oak, deposited Crea, then went outside. He threw out mertena, got ontop of her, and they flew towards curelean...

Upon arriving, Herp saw a boy and a girl talking outside of a cave.
"Maybe I'll go see what they're up to after I get rested up..." He said to himself as he walked into the gym.
"Misty, I need a place for the night!" He said to the leader.
"Herp? Its been a while since i saw you! I can get a room ready in no time!" She said as she called an apprntice to get a room ready. He and Misty had known each other since they met at sootopolis one day.
"So, what's new? I heard you have a new apprentice... with alot of potential too." He said.
"Yeah, you want to meet her? She's over at the entrance to Curelean Cave" She said as she walked toward the leader's platform to accept a Trainer's challenge.
"Ok, I'll see you later tonight!" He said as he ran out towards the cave. On the way there, he saw plenty of young trainers battling it out with their low level pokemon. After a couple lawyers aguing with the Delta about his Scooby-Doo phrases ecsorted him to jail, Rocky continued along. ....And along......and along......
"Gosh, Kanto isn't THAT far away, is it?!?" complained Rocky.
As soon as he had said that, he saw Pewter City in the moonlight.
"Wow......it's been ages since I've been here!" said Rocky.
"Hey!!! A-Rocky! Is that-a you?" called a voice from below.
"Um........No, this is....Phil."
"Oh...Well, tell-a Rocky if-a you see him, that he needs to go-a to Cerulean-a City, yah?"
"Um.....yah...."
"Good"

He flew towards Cerruean City, only to see.........

"I'm so sorry, I forgot to introduce myself." She placed her left hand on her hip and stuck out her right to shake his hand. She flashed a smile, and looked him in the eyes.
"My name is Lori. I'm an apprentice gym leader in Cerulean. Misty and I heard rumors about Team Delta activity in Hoenn." She gave his hand a tight squeeze and let her eyes wander. He's kinda cute; slender, but pretty tall...
"Something doesn't feel quite right about what we've heard, and it should probably be checked out. Misty is way too busy at the gym, and I've always wanted to travel." She took her shoes off and sat down at the waters edge, and stared into the distance.
"Misty was a little reluctant to let me go. My pokemon aren't as strong as they should be for a journey, so I need some help in that department. Also, I've never left Kanto before. I have no idea how to get there." She looked up over her shoulder to meet his eyes again.
"I know you're strong. Only Champions are allowed in that cave. When someone walks into the cave, some of the hot-headed trainers out here spread the word and make their challenge. That's how I found you. I don't have a lot of money, and I don't know how to cook, but I'll do everything I can to earn your service." She looked back down to the water and chuckled.
"I'm sorry, I don't even know your name."

I grinned as I listened to Lori's long introduction, and she sort of grew on me. She was rather nice after all

"I'm Eliadon. I know that it's wierd, but it is supposed to be the name of an ancient warrior who saved the three lands from a tyrant, it looks like I'm taking after his steps. I'll be glad to accompany you to Hoenn. I am a champion, but I've only been to Johto, not Hoenn."

I glance around, our hands still held together and saw another person running up to us. This is going to be fun.

"I may as well leave...."
She grabbed a pokeball from her bag and opened it to reveal a shiny Charizard.
"C'mon,use fly.Lets get out of here before that guy comes back"

Rocky saw a short Italian boy.
"Hey! A-Rocky!" he said, "Get-a down-a here! One-a on one-a!"
That man wanted me to battle his son? Wow, was he gonna get get it.
Rocky flew down to the ground, and the match started.
"Go, A-Venusaur!"
"Go, Crobat!"
"Venusaur, use-a Solar Beam!"
Venusaur's back was glowing with sunlight.
"Crobat, use Sludge Bomb!" yelled Rocky
Venusuar dodged it. The sunlight exploded into a beam-like form and knocked Crobat to the ground. Crobat had fainted!
"Venusaur, use-a Sludge!" yelled the boy, this time, with a slightly lower voice.
A blast of sticky goop covered, not Crobat, but Rocky's Pokeballs where his un-fainted Pokemon were! He couldn't sent them out!
"And-a now....."said the Italian boy, "Use-a Frenzy plant on-a Rocky!"
Thick vines covered Rocky head to toe.
Rocky heard, "Go, Fearow!", and, " Bring me and this patch of vines to Delta Base! "
The "boy" was a Delta! How could Rocky escape? He couldn't even see!

Harobi sat down on an empty bench and patted the space next to him.
"You can sit here girl!" he said to the flaafy happily.
"Flaafy Fla!" Sheeper baaed and jumped on the bench. Harobi's stoumch (sp) growled commenting that he was hungry.
"Flaafy?" Sheeper questioned, noticing that she too was hungry.
"We won't be on here long, don't worry!" Harobi answered just as someone came down the aisle asking for everyone's tickets. Harobi reached in his pocket and pulled out an old wrinkled ticket with a rip in the corner.
"Your ticket?" the man asked and Harobi gave him the ticket. Sheeper yawned and began to curl up on the bench. Harobi lay down on the bench with his head on the Flaafy's warm body. Together they slept until they got to Johto.
The ticket collecting man began his normal search of the train before departing. He smiled at the trainer and his pokemon and gently woke the pair up.
"What?" Harobi moaned wanting to continue his nap.
"We have arrived, Sir." he said to them.
"Fla!" Sheeper said with renewed spirit.
Harobi thanked the man as he got off the train. He streched and then let out his other pokemon. He walked twords (sp) a big building hoping he would find lunch. Sheeper stopped at a patch of grass and began to eat.
"Sheeper!" He scolded, but soon relized that this was Sheeper's idea of a lunch. His other pokemon looked at him wondering if they too could eat the grass.
"Alright you guys, you can eat."

Lori flashed a smile. Even when standing, she still had to crane her neck to make eye contact.
"An Ancient warrior? Sounds like I couldn't have found anyone better. When can we leave?" The thought of traveling with a tall, cute stranger put a few butterfrees in her stomache. He smiled back, but his gaze left her face. She turned around to see a boy approaching. He seems cheery... what for?

I saw Lori's eye's wander, just as mine had, and I followed them. They were looking at the same man who was walking to us. He was grinning stupidly, looking around at the younger and less experienced trainer with longing. Suddenly I did a double take, my jaw dropping open.

Herp.

The legendary Pacifidolg Gym Leader, and a master when it ame to battling. I couldn't believe what he would be doing here, when he should be in his Gym. This idea seemed to run through Lori's mind as well

Rocky felt himself lift off the ground. How could he escape? All of a sudden, Rocky felt his whole body burn. The vines were also burning to a crisp. Rocky figured the time was right, and broke out with all his strength.
"Wait...." Rocky said to himself, "I was in flight......"
He looked down, only to see he was over 4000 feet above ground!!!
He was falling....and fallling...and fa-He landed on something that felt tough. Lance's Charizard! He had used Flamethrower on the vines!.......And himself.....
"Sorry for the heat, but it was the only way!" said a familiar voice....Lance!
"Er.......It's fine!" lied Rocky.
"Let's get you to the ground! I think I saw Pacifidlog Gym Leader Herp somewhere!" said Lance.

Yvonne was soaring through the air for hours without notice.
She felt so peaceful up in the sky.
"Mmmm...Hunh? Where'd I end up?" She said,waking herself from her dream world.
"Ah! I flew into the Kanto region!"

"Ah,might aswell look around while I'm here.Nightling,return"
She drew the Charizard back to its Pokeball and began to look around.

"Hello, Eliadon. I'm sure you kow who I am."

"How do you know my name...!?" He asked startledly [if thats a word xD]

"I know a lot of people... especially when they've been inside curelean cave and Mount Silver." Herp said, casually.

"Yeah, that makes sense..." chuckled Eliadon.

"Ah, and you must be Lori. I've heard alot about you from Misty. She even said you might surpass her someday! But don't tell her I said that..." Said Herp, turning to the girl.

"Th-Thank you!" She exclaimed.

"I always did imagine you alot older..." Commented Eliadon.

"Yeah, I get that alot," Said Herp with a smile. "Now, shall we get something to eat? Maybe I can creep some trainers out by calling out their name from behind them..." Snickered Herp, most likely shortcutting an apology for sneaking up on them...

"Sure, let's" laughed Eliadon.

The three trainers walked through route [number 'Its been way too long since ive played a game to remember'] and headed into curelean cafe [sorry, all I could come up with :rolleyes:]

I grinned as Lori, Herp, and myself headed northward to Cerulean Cafè. Cerulean Cafè was known for its amazing variety of cuisines, and its amazing drinks. Of course, All three of us were too young to drink any alcohol, but there are still other drinks.

"Sop, Herp. How come you're not in your gym? I thought being a Gym Leader meant a lot of dedication and persistence (sp?)? I wouldn't expect you to be here, out of all places."

Herp laughed softly before answering, "Well, we're allowed to take some time off aren't we?"

"Sorry," I muttered apologeticly, before turning to Lori, "You were saying something about Team Delta in Hoenn? I thought that Team Delta was just a myth?"

"Nope. They're real, why don't we ask Herp. His gym is in Hoenn after all."

"There he is!' said Lance. He pointed to Herp walking into Cerulean Cafe woth two other people.
"Well, guess I gotta go see him!" said Rocky.
"Y'know," said Lance, "It's rude to barge in on people if you weren't invited! You wanna go catch some Pokemon with me-" He turned and saw Rocky was gone.
"This is why I was 15 grades ahead of him in Rustboro Trainer School...." muttered Lance, "Better go in with him before he does something stupid...."

Lance walked in only to see Rocky at a table looking like he had laughed as hard as he could. There were 3 other people at the table.
"So, the Rabbi says, 'In the Non-Fiction Section'!!!" said Rocky as if he told a joke, "So, which one of you is Herp?"
"Rocky......" said Lance, "They are over at that table" Lance pointed to 3 people at a booth.
"Oh....What would I do without you, Lance?" said Rocky
"I don't think you'd be alive now, to tell you the truth..."

A great orange dragon was soaring the skies of Kanto.

" Lets go to Cerulean, Charizard , I've heard of this dungeon, seems like a great place to catch Pokemon!"

His faithful Pokemon nodded, and start picking up speed as he headed down.
Jake could see the wonderous city of Cerulean, famous for their water Gym.

Chariizard finally had reached the ground and landed down.

" Awesome Charizard, return." Jake helds out a Poke ball, and a beam of red light enveloped Charizard, transporting him inside the sphere.

Jake's stomach growled, and he was sure his Pokemon were hungry too. He dropped them off at the local Pokemon Center. He then headed to the local Cafe to get a quick bite.

He scanned the Cafe, and was surprised to see Herp, of the recently built Pacifidlog Gym, and Lance, of the Kanto Elite Four.

"Whoaaaa," Jake murmed as he made his way to their table.

"Nice to meet you guys!", Jake said, waving at all 5.

[Herp]

"Of course its real... why do you think I left?" Said Herp with another chuckle.

"So, you were... looking for me?" Stammered Eliadon.

"Of course. And you too, Lori, you may not be as experienced yet, but you'll grow, believe me." Said Herp.

"Does that mean I'm invited to come WITH you!?" She said excitedly.

"Of course it does." He replied simply. "And there's a few others... but the main trainer I'm on the lookout for is... Yvonne-"

"Hey! Are you Herp!? THE Herp?" A boy suddenly exclaimed as he made his way to he table.

"Am I really this popular all the way in kanto...?" he said. "Hmmm.... Yes, I know who you are... Jake... Would you like to be on our little team?"

"Y-Yes! of COURSE I would!!" He said with lots of glee.

"Hehe, this is going better then I expected!" Said Herp as the newest addition to the team sat down and got to know Lori and Eliadon. "Say, Eliadon, Can I call you Elly?"

"No." Laughed Eliadon as he tucked down the fancy food Herp had paid for.

Suddenly, Lance, of the Elite four, accompaanied by quite a familiar face, walked up to the company.

"Rocky! Just the person I needed to see!!" exclaimed Herp. "Oh, yeah, Lance too."

"HI HERP!!" Yelled Rocky happily.

"Hey. Y'know... I'm still surprised you turned down an offer for an Elite Four position..." Said Lance, who never seemed to get over that...

"Too much work... Ah, Guys, Lance and Rocky are old rustburo pals of mine, from when I was a travel student from pacifidlog" Said Herp.

"Hm, that makes a bit more sense, what were the trainers you were looking for, Herp?" said Eliadon.

"I'll tell you tomorrow, It's been a long day, seeing so many new and familiar faces. I'll get us some rooms at a hotel, we can get in for free considering I'm a Gym leader, and besides... I'm pretty sure the Curelean Inn is much more comfortable then Misty's" Said Herp with a wink, as the group packed up and headed towards the motel...

"Ah...I haven't eaten in hours..." Yvonne said to herself.
"Maybe I'll hit the local cafe..."
She wandered about the city,looking for the cafe.
"Here it is!" She shouted as she entered the small building.
Once inside,she say the legendary gym leader,Herp, seated with three other people. She decided to go say "hello".

Everyone in the booth started to get up and leave. Lori took an extra moment to absorb everything. The Champion Eliadon, the esteemed Herp, the famous Lance, and the evidently-accomplished Rocky. And she was going to leave Cerulean with them all. She leaned down under the table to pinch her calf and winced.
"No, definitely not a dream," she thought. She smiled, and followed Herp out of the diner. She glanced over Herp (which was easier than she thought; she imagined him to be taller...) and noticed another trainer heading towards them.

After his pokemon ate to their fill Harobi walked through the doors (the ones that spin, people always get stuck in them on tv) and over to the main, and only, desk.
"Do you have any food in this place?" he asked hastily.
"We have some vending machines on the 6th floor, Sir." the woman at the desk said mannerly (is there such a word?). Harobi quickly darted towards the stairs and began to climb two steps at a time. At the 5th floor he regreted ever taking the stairs option. He panted his way up the last set of stairs slowly. He felt as though he would colapse on the 6th floor. He popped a quarter in the snack machine and a bag of chips fell out.
"Good enough!" he said to himself and stuffed a mouthfull of chips into his mouth.
A little girl sat munching on a chocolate bar at a table. "Are you hungry?" she asked after he finished his bag of chips.
"Yea!" he said emptying (sp?) out his bag trying to find some chips he missed.
"Here" she said kindly handing Harobi three bars.
"Thanks!" he said already opening the first bar.

Harobi was stuffed after eating his bars and two more bags of chips. He had intended to find a place to sleep but instead fell asleep on the table.

She was going to talk to Herp,seeing as he left his Gym and she couldn't challenge to him to get his badge.
She walked over to the group of trainers,and began to introduce herself:

I was going to challege your Gym today,Herp,but you weren't there" She said,trying not to sound angry even though she was.
"With introduction over,may I ask what caused your absence?"

"Wait........"said Lance slowly, "My friend Red's been everywhere, including beaten me. He's in Mt. Silver now, but he never said anything about seeing a hotel or cafe in Cerulean-"
"It's new!!!" said Herp a little too fast to be unnoticed.
"Oh. Y' know, he's told me a bunch of stories about his travels. I'll tell them to you!" said Rocky, "He started out in Pallet Town..."
*********10:30 PM, Cerulean Hotel*********
"....And then he.....he....saw a....a perfect place...to....to train....and...he stayed with his....his Pikachu...to this....very....day....ZZZZZZZZZZ" Rocky finished his 3 hour long tale about Red before falling into a deep sleep.
"Did anyone even pay attention to that?" asked Lance.
"NO!!!" said everyone from their beds, books, DS's and Gameboys.
"Good, because I thought I was just being rude....ZZZZZZZZZ" said Lance before falling asleep.

Herp sat back in bed contentedly, he had accomplished quite a bit that day... Found Yvonne and Eliadon, and as a bonus, his old friend Rocky, and Misty's apprentice Lori!

Now he had some of the best trainers in the world on his side. Delta was going down... was what Herp was thinking as he slowly drifted into sleep...

Herp had been nice enough set up a seperate room for Lori and Yvonne. The girls settled

into their room and started talking up a storm. Neither could wait for the next day to

begin. Lori was ready to travel the world, and Yvonne was ready to challenge Herp.

Volt jumped up on Yvonne's bed and nestled himself near her feat. The girls were also

ready for bed.

"So, you're taking the pokemon challenge in Hoenn, Yvonne? That sounds like fun." Lori

pulled back the covers in her bed and slipped into the sheets. "I'm curios," she

continued. "Are you at all related to Eliadon?" Yvonne looked a little puzzled at first, but

then agitated. Lori quickly shook her head. "I don't want to pry or anything, it's just that

you two look so much alike. You're both pretty tall, you have the same hair, and the

same eyes..."

Yvonne sat up and gave Lori a cold look.

"I'd rather not talk about my family."

Lori was a little taken back at first, but then regained eye contact. "I'm sorry, not my

place to ask." Yvonne rolled over and turned off the lights. "But for what it's worth, I

don't really like to talk about my family either."

Yvonne yawned. "That's nice," she said in a dreamy voice, "but lets get some sleee..."

zZzZzZ.

Rocky looked at his clock on the nightstand. It was 2:37. Why couldn't he get to sleep??? This happens on the night before most holidays, too.
"Well, as long as I'm up, better get a snack!" thought Rocky.
He stumbled over to the minibar.
"Hmm...."he thought, "Snickers......Butterfingers....Jujubes....Funny monkeys on a....a...unicycle...."
He was getting a bit tired.
"Little gumball machines from Urkraine!!! AHAHAHAHA!" he was talking out loud now.
Lance woke up after covering his ears with every layer of cloth in reach.
"Rocky....get to bed! It's 4:30 AM!" mumbled Lance.
It finally made Rocky climb back to his bed.
"Hey.... Rocky...." started Lance
"Yeah.....?"
"Two things: What was that all about? And two: Why do you have a Squirtle, of all the other Pokemon to choose?"
"Well....."started Rocky, "My eyes and my brain don't usually work together when I'm tired...and the other question......"
He fell silent.
"It was my grandfather's......he went looking for a way to stop Delta.......and never came back..."
"Oh....." said Lance in a sorry tone, "I had no idea...I'm so sorry!"
"Oh nothing you could've done to stop that from happening.....Well, nothing I know of!....Goodnight...ZzZzZZZZzzzZZZ"
"Goodnight."
Now it was Lance who couldn't fall asleep.

Wow, I don't post for one day, and I end up losing track of the whole thing...Just me luck...

My dreams were odd. Images of Herp, Lance, Rocky, Lori, Yvonne kept on swerving in and out of them, but none of them said a word. My trusty Pokèmon were all lying dead at the foot of a gigantic Delta crook. The Dealta crook was laughing maniacially, a bloody knife clutched in his right hand. He was colsing in on me, the knife moving faster than lightning...too close...

I woke up with a start. My eyes snapped open, to find myself wrapped up in a blanket, covered in sweat. It took my mind a moment to remember where I was, and why I was sharing a room with the two legends, Lance and Herp. But soon it all came back to me, hitting me like a tonne of bricks.

I glanced out of the window, and saw the sun just rising above the horizon. It cast a soothing orange glow into our bedroom, and my body was filled with happiness. I couldn't understand why I was wrtapped up like a cocoon.

Trying desperately not to wake up the others, I slid out of my bed, and walked over to the mini-bar. I automatically slipped my hand into the fridge, and drew out a bottle of refreshing, spring water. I wasn't one for soft drinks. Sipping on the water, I walked over to the bay window, and sat down, looking at the sun rise.

I felt a hand on my shoulder, and started, but then I heard the soft voice of Lance from behind me: "Lovely isn't it? Sometimes I wake up in the morning, just to see the sunrise. This time, however, it was Rocky that kept me awake."

I grinned as Lance began to tell me about the times that Herp, Rocky, and himself, used to sleep throught classes, taking turns to write down notes. And how he and Herp used to play practical jokes on Rocky. It was a nice one hour, Lance and I told each other about our backgrounds, and such, so by the time Herp woke up, I knew all about Lance and his childhood.

~2 hours later~

All of us guys had woken up, but didn't want to bother the girls just yet. I was still sitting at the bay window, although the sun had risen a long time ago. Suddenly, a flash of purple caught my eye.

"****! Delta's now come to Kanto!"

"Yaaaaaawn....Is it morning already?" Yvonne said to herself,still half asleep.
"Volt,are you hungry?" She walked over to the small fridge in the room and pulled out some carrots for the Jolteon.
"Jolt!" It cried happily.
"Shhhh! You'll wake up Lori." Yvonne turned to look out the window at the beautiful scenery that lay outside the hotel.

Yvonne almost forgot about the other pokemon she had.Luckily she remebered in time or Volt would have eaten all their food.
"Yaaaaawn...." She yawned again and stretched her arms.
"Volt,return." Yvonne got up and went to the bath room to fix herself up,While trying not to wake up Lori.

Jake fell asleep long before the others, so he woke up early.

'Nice day...," he murmured, looking out the window.

He changed into his regular clothes, and went outside to train.

"Go Pokemon!" He released all of his pokemon, and they looked at him for instructions.

"Ok, Charizard, I want you to help Aggron against his weakness to fire."
"Sceptile, you train with Absol, and Alakazam, train with Altaria."

He watched his Pokemon train, helping themselves and their friends.

Lance was up staring at the celing all night. He could've sworn after about an hour one of the dots had moved a bit.
"Yaaawnnn...." Herp had woken up, "Hardly got aany sleep last night.....Woke up at 4:30 to Rocky commenting on Indian Chickens eating cloud-stuffed burritos...."
"Funny, I slept all through the night!" said Rocky.
Everyone awake staring grimmly at Rocky.
"Okay, so I got a mid-night snack! Sue me!"
Rocky could hear a couple Pokemon training outside.
"So, what's on the agenda today?" asked Rocky.
Herp and Lance both tried to hide their laughs.
"What is it?" asked Rocky in a concerned tone.
He felt a sharp pain flash on his rear. He turned and saw a hotel doorman behind him.
"Sorry, I just did what the sign says!" he said.
Rocky slapped his back and felt a Post-It note on his back.
"Hey! Herp! Lance! You are respectful trainers! This is a childhood prank! Get with the program!" stormed Rocky
"Ow!" said Herp
"Ow!" said Lance
They both turned around and saw they had Post-It notes on their backs, too.
"Hey, I'm not respected like you guys!" explained Rocky
"Well, anyway" continued the doorman, "Someone is in the lobby to see all of you."

Lori popped her head out from the covers to gaze around the room. Yvonne was already up and had gotten dressed. Lori's hair was a mess, and she had trouble keeping her eyes open. "I've never been a morning person; I'll try waking up again in the afternoon..."

Apparently, no one had heard my cry. Rocky was too stupid to listen, and Lance and Herp had been to busy playing pranks. It was up to me, and I didn't feel good. I had always thought saving people would be an easy job, but it was no where near easy.

Everyone else filed out of the room, leaving me all alone to face the Delta's wrath. I chanced another glance out of the window, and swore: the Delta was nowhere to be seen.

I scanned the grounds outside, but I still couldn't find the damned Delta.

CRASH!

"AAARGH!"

I jumped. The crash and the scream had been from the neighbouring room, and the cry was oddly famililiar...

"Crap! Lori!"

Without thinking, I leapt over Lance's bed, grabbed my poke-belt, and ran out of the room. Without knocking, I slammed open the girl's door, and swore. The Delta had cornered Lori!

[Red.Falcon]

Before everyone began to head to the lobby, Rocky scanned the room, and noticed Eliedon was nowhere to be found. Or looked at. Whatever.
"Hey, where's Eliedon?" asked Rocky, "He was here a second ago, wasn't he?"
"Hey......For once your right, Rocky!" said Lance
"Hey, you haven't exactly been correct every time, either!" shot back Rocky.
"Name one time!" yelled Lance
"At the Lake of Rage, when you were telling me about the shiny Gyrodos!"
"And?!?"
"You said it would be green!"
"So?
"It was RED!"
"People....people....Shut up!!!!!!!!!!!!! " yelled Herp, "Let's just find him, and worry about a green Gyrodos later!"
"It was red!" said Rocky.
After seaching everywhere, Herp had thought about the girl's room.
"Why would he be there?" asked Rocky
"I dunno, I just suspected....I heard a crash......and his Poke-belt is gone!"
"Oh, good enough for me!"
They burst in without knocking only to find a Delta battling the missing group member!

Yvonne rushed out of the bath room in horror.

"Huh? What's this guy doing in here? He looks familiar..."
"Eliadon! I'll help you!" She shouted,grabbing out a pokeball from her bag.
"Go,Cloud!" A ferocious looking Absol appeared,rearing to attack
"Quick,Cloud,help Lori! Use Crunch!"

I looked over at Yvonne, and smiled warmly. I really needed the help, thios Delta member was damn right hard to beat, basically because he had a Dragonite, that was bumping its head on the cieling. I couldn't help but laugh, before I remembered why I was here. As Yvonne's Absol battled the Dragonite, I dodged the Delta, and grabbed Lori around the waist.

Her hair was inn all places, her eyes were in bags, and she was yawning loudly, oblivious of the battle raging around her. I flung her over myt shoulder, and zipped out of the room. Placing her down on the carpeted floor of the hotel, I sighed, thinking that everything was finally finished, but the I heard a scream.

"Oh, ****...Yvonne, is still in there!" I yelled, tearing at my hair. I grabbed Wave's poke-ball, and dashed back into the room. "Go Wave! Freeze that ass with Ice beam!"

Wave was summoned from his poke-ball in a flash of white, and after hearing ,my command, unleashed his devastating Ice beam. The cold beam struck the Dragonite who had been about to let loose a Dragonbreath. When Ice beam struck, DFragonite was instantaneously frozen....thank goodness.

"Great job guys!" Jake cheered as his Pokemon sat down to rest. Grinning at the achievements of his team, he was ready to get back inside.

CRASH!

"What the!?" Jake scanned the building and saw a explosion go off.

"Return!" Jake retrieved his Pokemon with the red and white spheres and ran back inside.

"Guys!" "Whats goi- whoa."Jake entered the room to find a chilling surprise. There, in front of him, was a life-like ice sculpture of a Dragonite.

"Um...wow, the person who made that was very talented."

Scanning the area, he waved to his new friends. "Uh....hi?"

I looked around at the new arrival, and shook my head exasperatedly. The time for niceties was later, not now. I then turned to Wave, and his eyes met mine.

"Shall we teach this Delat who's boss, Wave?" I asked in a mocking tone.

The Feraligatr grunted, and I gave out the final command..."Hydro Pump!"

The pink strip accross his forehead began to glow, and he let loose the devastating Water attack, and both Dragonite and the Delta flew out of the window...

Lori woke up on the hallway floor in a daze. She stood up and looked around to get her barings. There was a loud CRASH that made her jump. She looked to her right to see crowd of people standing in her room, and a new face standing in the door way. She tapped him on the shoulder.

"Hey, what's going on in there?"

"A battle," he replied, and turned to face her. "Hi, I'm Ja..." His sentence cutoff as soon as he noticed she wasn't wearing pants... just a tank-top and undies. He quickly averted his gaze.
Lori blushed and tried to cover herself with her hands, but to no avail. Don't attract attention, just ease over to the bed....and get under the covers

She started to make her way over to the sheets, when Rocky and company came in behind her.

I truly felt bad for poor Lori. It was really embarrassing for her to be half naked in front of a group of guys. Of course, I was a real gentleman, and looked away, and stroked Wave to busy myself with something. Wave had battled well, and he deserved a treat. I puled out a pokè-treat from my pocket, and gave it to Wave. He ate it up happily.

I then noticed that Rocky, Herp and Lance had arrived. I walked over to them, careful to turn away from, Lori and greeted them joyfully, then explained what had happened. Once I had, Lance swore loudly, and a group of passing adults gave him a nasty look.

"How could Team Delta be here? They're supposed to be a Hoenn only group. They must have expanded in number, and decided that Kanto was their next target. What do you think, Herp...shall we go to Hoenn anyway and clean out any remenent forces, or chase them away from Kanto?" asked Lance.

"I, don't know," said Herp, looking slightly embarrassed. He then turned to me. "You saw the Delta, right. Did he say anything?"

I shook my head, and recalled Wave. "We have a serious problem, Herp. Perhaps some of us should stay here, and the others go to Hoenn? Or do we work better as a team?"

[Herp]

"We're staying together. Hoenn first, that's their source, and also their biggest gathering. If we take out the Delta's here they'll just keep coming back." Said Herp

"Right, right. Good. We'll be on our way then!" Said Eliadon.

On the boat to Hoenn, the small crew booked as normal passengers and settled into their cabins. The meals onboard were nice, but better when they made food themselves. Herp wasn't al that eager to go back, as he wanted to do a bit of sight-seeing and exploring. Instead all the trainers were practically looking for him, all gathering right away in Curelean. His eyes sagged, and He marked his book. It was Late. Tomorrow would bring more crisp breezes and the thrilling scent of the sea.

The gentle rumbling of our boat, matched with the salty smell of the sea was enough to refresh anyone's mind. Even if you had just lost all your money because the Cerulean city police said it was against the law to make ice statues in the middle of summer...sheesh.

I was standing at the railing of our boat with Herp, and we were both looking at Cerulean City which was rapidly shrinking into the horizon.

"So, we don't really have much to do, do we? This boat's gonna stop for a couple of days refuelling in Jhoto's Olivine city, and then we're off to Hoenn. Just a small question. What if Team Delta manages to take over Kanto by the time we get back? Then they'll be able to supply forces from here..."

She took a deep breath of the salty air, then headed toward the stern. Herp and Eliadon were on deck, and the rest of the trainers were inside. Herp had a serious look on his face. "What's wrong?" she asked.

"It's Team Delta..."

Jake woke up in one of the cabins in the ship

"Uh...where am I?" His memory hit him in a flash.

"Oh yeah."

He got up and walked up to the deck. He gazed at the shape of the Cerulean dock as it faded into the horizon.

'Wonder where the others are?", he murmured.

He wandered toward the stern and found them.

"Hey guys, this might not be the time, but shouldn't we battle each other to train?"

The rocking of the boat was making Yvonne rather see sick. She turned away from the others to hide her weakness of boats,but saw Jake stadning in front of her.
"Battles on a boat?" She asked curiously."I don't know if that's such a good idea,but if everyone's OK with it...Then I've no problem" She turned off in yet another direction.Of course all this turning was making her even more sick,but she was intent on hiding it from the others.Yvonne began mumbling to herself "That Dragonite...Uurgh....Who trains their Pokemon to bite people?..."
Of course we have to travel by boat....Mmuuurgh...

Rocky yawned. It was late, so his special book, which he had recieved from from Lance, could wait. The book had a recipie on making a potion that make Pokemon as powerful as they could get, and still be happy. It could wait, as he said. Or could it?!? Herp walked into his cabin.
"Rocky!" he said, "Get on the poop deck! And-Stop it! Get there fast, it's an emergency! And bring your Pokemon!"
Rocky dropped his book and ran. As he ran out the door, a dark figure swooped at the book.

Rockt came dashing out from within the main cabin. Apparently Herp had noticed something that none of us had.

"What is it Herp?" I asked, but he was too preoccupied to answer...

[Herp]

Herp suddenly snapped out of the trance.

"It's nothing," He said, grinning broadely at the green Yvonne, and Lori, who was shaking in her boots with excitement.

"All right!" Herp yelled, "The battle match-ups are... Yvonne and Jake, Rocky and Lance, and Lori will be battling me!"

Everyone formed up and started talking wtih their partners. Herp had left out everyone else belowdeck sleeping, he didn't want to disturb anyone ([Meh, bunnies ._.])

Lori looked around nervously, and reached to her belt.

[Red.Falcon]

"Ready *yawn*, Lance?" Rocky tiredly said.
"Not really"
"At least I have a chance this time."
"Not likely"
"Whatever"
"Go, Dragonite!"
An oddly colored Dragonite shot out of a Pokeball.
"Ooh, shiny!" commented Rocky.
"Yup."
"Go, Metagross!"
A blue Metagross shot out.
Then a loud sheik sounded from the lower deck.
"Uh oh."
"We have to get there fast!" shouted Lance, running, "Someone could be in trouble!"

OOC: HOw about we take one battle each...I mean, I do one of your Pokèmon vs one of mine, and then you do the next pair...and so on...alright. You can win, SPM if you want...I'l just win the first one...

IC:

Yvonne reached for her Pokèbelt, and plucked a Pokèball from it.

"Reday to loose," she taunted.

"In your dreams," I replied in just as mocking a tone

"Go...Volt!" She yelled, sending out her Jolteon.

I grinned, and did what I always do. I end out a Pokèmon that has a natural weakness, but teach it to stand up to its weakness.

"Go...Storm!" I yelled, sending out Pidgeot.

"Volt, use Shockwave!" she commanded.

"Counter with Twister!" I yelled.

Volt let loose a bolt of electricity that advanced in "shockwaves" as most people call them. Storm began to spin arond at an incrediblt fast pace. The electricity bounced harmlessly off the wall of protective air that Storm was summoning. The electricity rebounded onto Volt, and then Storm let loose to Twister. The combionation of the two attacks cause Volt to faint.

"Hmph...I choose..."

OOC: On second thoughts...couldn't we tie?

Lori gave Herp a worried look as she removed a pokeball from her belt. "Look Herp, we both know there's no way I can win... you're a first class gym leader, but Cerulean leaders have both type restrictions and a level limits on their pokemon - to give trainers a chance. The only thing I'll have to my advantage is technique, and I want to test one out." She pulled out another ball and smiled. "How 'bout a two-on-two?"

[Herp]

Herp's eyes twinkled withy curiosity as he lifted up his chin.

"Okay, then. Let's see what you've got," He said with an encouraging tone. He snapped his hand toward his belt and grabbed & threw a ball. There was a flash of light, and Ocie, a Sceptile, stood before him.

"I want you to start with an dragon claw, ace" He whispered to the sceptile.

Lori pulled her arm back, and with a wide grin, launched the sphere into the air.

"I choose you!" yelled Yvonne as she tossed her pokè-ball into the air. It snapped open, and Luna, her Ninetails burst forth, swishing its tails about in impatience.

"This will be easy," I muttered. "Storm, use Hurricane!"

Storm flew up into the sky, and out of sight. Suddenly, there was a flash of lightning, and a loud clap of thunder, and rain, mixed with lightning and air, flew down straight towards Luna.

"Dodge it Luna!" she yelled, and the Ninetails leapt to the right, and the mass of air, lightning and rain crashed to the ground, revealing Storm, who had been within.

"Now! Flamethrower!" commanded Yvonne, and a plume of flames erupted from Luna's mouth, and headed staright at Storm. Storm was too weak to avoid the attack, and gotr the full blast. It fainted immediately.

"Return...you were great." I muttered, recalling Storm. "It's not over yet! Go... Blaze!"

"Luna! Use Confuse ray" yelled Yvonne, and thge Ninetails's eyes began to glow an eerie red.

"Close your eyes Blaze!" I yelled, and Blaze did as he was told.

"Now" yelled Yvone

"Now," I shouted.

"FIREBLAST!" we both yelled at the same time, and a tojnge of flame was issued out from both Pokèmon, and it twisted inot the shape of a five pointed star. The attacks copnverged against each other in the centre of the little battlefield.

There was a massive explosion, and when the smoke cleared, neither Pokèmon was standing...One more Pokèmon to go!...

Jake wandered to the side of the ship, well out of the way of the other's potent pokemon attacks.

"Wonder who'll win."

He took notice of Eliadon and Yvonne's tie battle.

Herp was having a double battle with Lori, and Rocky and Lance had yet to battle.

"Guys! Someone is in trouble! Guys?" yelled Rocky over the loud battle.
"Forget them, Rocky," Lance said, "If they don't want to help an innocent soul in danger, let their hatred take over their hearts, and consume them from the inside, like this very Earth we are standing on with our own two feet. And-"
"Nice speech, Lance...Let's go before the Sun explodes..." said Rocky
"The sun won't explode for another 5000 years- Oh, ha..ha ha..."
They ran down to the bottom deck. They saw a shadow. It was sceaming bloody-murder.
"Hey, you! You okay?" asked Rocky
"Well, eh...uh eh...." sniffed the shaded figure, "You could help me by getting me a Rare Candy..."
"Why? That's the last ingredient in my book-" Rocky glanced at the figure's hands. In it was the book. "Hey! Lance get over here! That person is a Del-"
"Delta" finished the figure, now with a loud booming voice, "And Lance cannot help you!"
Rocky glanced back, and saw another Delta carrying Lance, bound anf gagged, over to a life boat. He escaped before Rocky could reach him.
"Go! Dragonite!" the first Delta screamed. It was Lance's Dragonite! Except it had an odd purple glow, "Instead of a Rare Candy, you could've just added a little of this!"
He held up a vial, filled with purple liquid.
"Now go kill the intruder!" yelled the Delta to the Dragonite.
The Dragonite listened.
