Well, I've seen Hide & Seek yesterday.. and I have to say it was pretty good! I thought it was SF, but apparently .. it's not
The plot is so good, and the scenes of Robert de Niro's dreams are freaky, but also good.

Jaws counts as a horror movie, imo. Jaws is my favorite movie period. I haven't met a non-stupid person that didn't like that movie. :hungry:

I liked Signs and The Ring. I don't know if you can count those as horror, they're more suspense.

 Dear me, Gen...

i guess we're counting slashers as horror so here goes:

- Halloween, Halloween 2, H20
- Scream trilogy
- Saw
- Frailty(suspense?)
- Exorcist & Exorcist Beginning
- Dawn of the Dead (remake)
- Night of the Living Dead (original)
- CandyMan
- Nightmare on Elm Street
- Freddy VS Jason
- Valentine ( i liked the premise better than the actual movie)

That's all i can think of. There's a bunch that i don't think fall into horror so i won't waste more post space .

It's by far one of my favorite movies.

lol Gen 1.0, Interview w/ the vamp and Dracula are considered horror movies? XD That's funny; they weren't scary at all. Meh, vampire movies never scare me anyway, I always want the vamp to win. XD

I don't really know - not into scary movies much 'cause they're either too scary (like The Grudge, The Ring, etc.) or corny as hell (Cursed)

But yeah, The Grudge scared the hell outa me. >_<

lol, yeah that's what they're classed under at Cinecon so I suppose they are, but like you, I'm always rooting for the Vamp. Hell, the bad guys in movies in general, they'are always cooler.

But yeah, I'm a huge Horror Movie buff.

I've yet to see many, but my top three are:

1) Jeepers Creepers 2 (never did see the first)

2) 13 Ghosts (not too scary, but exciting nonetheless)

3) The Ring (gets hilarious after you watch it a few times)

Lol, Psycho was hilarious. XD I love that movie, but not 'cause of it's horror aspects; just to laugh at it.

What Lies Beneath was good though, I had actually forgotton about that one. As was 13 Ghosts... However, as I've said, most horror flicks are just too corny and/or boring for me to like. Like The Shining... I want to know what Steven King was smoking.

Let's see, here's my list:

The Ring

13 Ghosts

28 Days Later

The Elm Street movies (go Freddy! ^^)

The Grudge

Night, Dawn, Day, Land of the Dead (on Dawn, both the old and the remake)

House of 1000 Corpses

Freddy vs. Jason

Gothika

Both Resident Evil movies

Freak Show

Pet Shop of Horrors (anime, but creepy nontheless)

Underworld (okay, not a horror, but still awesome ^^)

Just about any zombie, werewolf, vampire, or other scary-type creature thing movie, as long as they aren't bad B-movies (like the one vamp movie my mom saw where the vamps were dumb as zombies and couldn't even open doors >> <<).

Yeah usually horros have a lot of blood and violence in them so yeah basically Scream isn't a horror flick.
