Does anyone here have any experience with traditional eastern medicine? Ie, accupucture, herbal remedies, etc. I imagine many people think it is complete crack-pottery (I think I just made up a word), but both my mother and my sister are currently being treated with it, and I've tried it once. Let me say first that it works! My sister has been suffering from a strange adrenal syndrome, ineffectively treated with western medicine, and accupuncture, herbs, and a special diet all give her great relief.

So give your oppinions, or maybe I can answer some of your questions.

Yes, accupuncture works great! Herbal medicine is great because it's naturual, and tastes ok aswell. I usually have this sweet and sticky black syrup for coughs.

Given the choice between surgery or alternative medecine to cure cancer, I would take the surgery. But if I had something uncurable I'd look to alternative sources.

Well it's as old as, or older than, Western Medicine. So while some ideas are "null" in these worlds, of course it works. lol
