Here, at the Ref Finder Thread, you can post the battle and the conditions that go with it that you have arranged so that a referee may pick and choose which battles they wish to referee. The rules of the Ref Finder Thread are very simple;

1. This thread is only for posting your battles in. Otherwise, nobody should post in this thread otherwise. Any other post that isn’t a battle with conditions will be considered as SPAM and dealt with accordingly.

2. You only need to post your battle in this thread once. Anyone found posting there battle in here more than once will be dealt with as if they had posted SPAM in this thread. Referee’s can see your post; they may have there own reason for taking other battles, so please be patient and don’t bombard this thread with pleas for referees to take your battle.

Referees are not expected to post here when they take a battle. First of all, they should usually PM the battlers to ask if they accept them as a referee. Then, if the affirmative is replied, they PM a moderator where they will remove the post from this thread to prevent any other referees from trying to take up the battle. After all this is done, the referees may then post the thread on the main ASB page. However, referees don’t often do this and may just post on the main ASB thread whenever. As a precaution, you are advised to check the main ASB forum to see if your battle has been taken up yet, as well as here and your PM box.

Generally, you are expected to post a decent set of conditions and the person who you are battling in this thread. Otherwise, it can’t really fulfil the criteria of this thread. The general format for posting your battles here can be found in the Battle Station. I have posted it here for convenience;

Elbub vs. Necromancy
3 vs. 3
One out at a time
DQ: 4 days
Restrictions: OHKO moves, 3 chills per Pokemon.
Damage Caps: 20%
Arena: The Amazon Rainforest.
The Amazon, located in scenic South America, is said to be home to Mew, an extra legendary pokémon. During battle, Mew has a 10% chance every round to appear and return 10% energy to both competetors. The forest is lush and has many different kinds of plant life. There are a few canteens and hats from scavengers who have passed here before in search of Mew. The battle field is about 25m by 25m.

This is just a general format and you do not have to follow this exactly. However, referees do prefer a format as similar to this as possible, to prevent questions arising when they take the battle.

We generally clean up requests from this thread after one month; the reasoning for this is because it hasn’t attracted any interest in a month, and still isn’t likely to and sometimes the people involved in the battle have often left the forums after a month. If you feel that you want to keep it up there though, PM one of the moderators and they can give you your conditions and post back for you to repost.

And that’s all there is to this thread! So get battling!

This arena takes place on an icy sea. The are three pieces of ice, one about 20x20 feet, and the others where the trainers stand. Pokémon are free to battle on either the ice or slip into the water. The arena is prone to sudden currents, which may knock a Pokémon off its feet.

Khajmer took this battle, but they recently said they couldn't ref because the word processer went down. Never mind, they have it back.
