Anyways, heres a rough Review of ICP's Bang! Pow! Boom!
Album: Bang! Pow! Boom!
Band: Insane Clown Posse
Genre: Horrorcore Rap
This album is return of the Dark Carnival. People new to listening to these guys probably wouldnít understand anything about the Carnival unless they listened to the 6 Jokers Cards. The 6 Jokers Cards are 6 albums that tell people to choose the right path, and not follow bigotry, or racism. Donít play off like youíre better than everyone else, because youíre not, and donít beat on people weaker than you just because you can. Abiding by these particular laws opens you to the path of Shangri-la. The latter sends you to Hellís Pit.
Now, this album comes in three different colors: Red, Blue, and Green. The only really difference is the first (after the initial intro) and last songs. All of which are intros and outros in their own right. So basically, just that and the album covers are the only differences that each individual CD has.

This album, in my opinion, focuses on pedophiles, wife beaters, sexual abusers, and of course the general slaughter of all of those who lower people down to make themselves feel higher. I had a lot of fun listening to this CD, and I recommend it to anyone whoís tired of seeing these terrible things happen in our world, and are ready to do something about it.
I expected something similar to the old dark carnival, when I learned that there was a new CD release. When I listened to it, I wasnít at all disappointed. In fact, I think I loved it more than the old Dark Carnival Albums. I expected something a little different, after exposing Shangri-la as a Heaven-like realm for all Juggalos who choose their paths by listening to the CDs of ICP. This one just blew me away with everything they did in this CD.
A good mixture of rock-guitar, hip-hip beats, and harmonics. Although, this time, their voices are closer to their actual voices, rather than altered heavily by drugs and harmonics. It didnít sound terrible at all. Even if you arenít a fan of rap, you have to admit it sounded good.
They donít really stand out as musicians, but the combining of sounds from metal and rock, and throwing it into hip-hop is a feature on its own. They did really good with that, this time around.
The lyrical conception is amazing. Every line they rap, every word, and calculating death they describe in their songs is flawless. The Dark Carnival has got it made, with some amazing writers in ICP.
ICP are pioneers to Horrorcore Rap. They made it, and made people love it. Their words that are derived from deep hidden meaning. The calculating ways to kill people in each and every song. There is nothing more twisted than what these guys do in each of their CDís. Now as for the return of the dark carnival, after what was expressed in the Shangri-la CD, I think they did well with not making Bang! Pow! Boom! another Jokerís Card.
All of Psychopathic Records is Underground, and focus primarily on the darkness that resides in our world. I have a lot of respect for them. This new CD has all the old style of the past Dark Carnival Albums, with a new outlook and understanding from their listening fanbase.
Meh.. I did what I could. xD
