Poliwhirl simply stood there, waiting for Azurill's odd looking attack to hit him. As it did, Poliwhirl began trying to absorb it, but after absorbing for a few seconds, Poliwhirl began coughing. Something was wrong. Poliwhirl tried to run towards Azurill to land a Body Slam, but it tripped and fell to the floor. As Poliwhirl struggled to get up and looked back at Luke, Poliwhirl's face had become slightly red.

At that moment, Azurill had begun preparing yet another Ice Beam.
