Appearance: Sera is a teenage girl with the same pink tint of hair Lightning has, wrapped into a ponytail onto the side. She wears a red pleated skirt with black lace, a white sleeveless dress shirt, a semi-transparent sweeper in the same style of shirt over it, thigh-highs, boots, and a bandage on her left arm that covers her l'Cie mark.

Personality: Serah is Lightning's free-spirited younger sibling. Always the optimist, Serah was raised almost exclusively by her older sister after their parents died, and she is the only person who knows her sister's real name and secrets. Though the stress of being one of the last L'Cei in existence must be extreme, Serah doesn't show it; her cheerful, sunny personality is difficult to dampen. Recently, with her older sister moving in to the Royal Family's castle, Serah has been learning how to properly be princess of the L'Cei. Unlike her sister, Serah was able to develop her magic powers. She is very open about her feelings to her friends, and has become close friends with Hemiko.

History: Serah is Lightning's younger sister, and since Lightning is the King's general, she lives in the castle learning how to properly be a princess. Her parents were the king and queen of the L'Cei before their deaths, and with them gone, the only known L'Cei left are her and Lightning. As Lightning disliked the thought of being a politician, she refused to take up the title of 'Princess', instead passing it to Serah. Serah is adept at using healing magic, and can also fire off low-strength elemental magic strikes. She dislikes fighting, and usually tries to avoid it.
