OoC: Been having to deal with final exams for over the past week, hence the inactivity.

Alden cringed a little as the explosion hit Umbreon, sending the black pokemon flying. While she had successfully dodged the beam, the explosion showed that she obviously hadn't moved far enough away. We'll have to work on that in training, thought Alden to himself. Nevertheless, the hit was rather weak, and Umbreon was apparently able to shrug off the small amount of damage rather easily. Meanwhile, the Espeon was still in a fit of confusion. I guess now is as good a time as ever to go back on the offensive.

"Umbreon!" shouted her trainer. "Quick, while the Espeon is still confused, lets use another Faint Attack!" The black pokemon obliged. She closed her yellow eyes for a split second, focusing as the azure rings on her body faded into blackness. Then suddenly, she leaped forward in the direction of the Espeon, her rings ablaze with a brilliant blue glow. Umbreon faded out of view mid-jump, and then faded back into view a split second later behind the pink cat. Using the momentum of her leap, she twisted her tail around, preparing to slam the Espeon with it.
