This is a common mistake, but don't worry! ^^ What you've actually done is merely recoloured an Ivysaur sprite with the current generation's colours. This is not what a revamp is. A revamp would require scratching of parts that have been changed throughout the course of time, and editing of certain parts that are now considered 'wrong' for that Pokemon.

I'm assuming this is a 1st Gen -> 4th/5th Gen revamp?

Basically, try and get it to look like the Ivysaur from the generation your revamp is to. I reccomend working on where the bulb connects to the body (nowadays sprites don't really see the whole black shade for bits covered in darkness; I suggest a shade darker than your current darkest red), adding another leaf (3rd/4th/5th gen typically have a third leaf, going over the top of the head), making the sprite bigger in general to match the generation (1st gen sprites are smaller than the other generations), and updating the outline (currently the outline only has black, try to add more colours to the outline like the current generations do).

In short:
  • Correct the shading where the bulb connects to the body.
  • Add a leaf above Ivysaur's head; check the 4th/5th gen sprites for reference.
  • Increase the size of the sprite.
  • Update the outline.
