Round Seven

Cayci clicked her mandibles together, waving her two stumpy-and-fuzzy forearms threateningly. She glared right into Lyssa's eyes; blue met red in an intimidating staredown.

However, the staredown could not last forever, and Cayci was eager to get this battle wrapped up. Lame puns like the latter were pushed from her mind as she focused upon ensuring that she would be protected against one of Lyssa's more powerful attacks. Cayci's eyes began to glow, and from between them emitted glowing, humming blue rings of energy that flew straight into Lyssa's body. The Mienshao winced as she felt the energy steal through her like an x-ray, making her body tingle and cutting off the power she had most recently used. She noted with annoyance that when she tried to summon even a little aura, all she got was a blue flicker around her paws.
[Disable: Cayci, -7% Energy]

Lyssa decided that there was absolutely no way she was going to take that from something so insignificant as a bug. She lunged, her feet stomping into the ground and bringing up pointed, blue-glowing stones that orbited around her nimble hands. Cayci looked at her opponent and the barrage of rocks she brought; the insect looked like a Deerling in the headlights.

Oh sh-, thought Cayci. She had no time to complete the thought; rather she only had time to screech in shock and pain as Lyssa slammed into her. Razor-like stones sliced into Cayci like true blades, and all with the force of one angry Mienshao behind them to give them momentum. Lyssa leaped back, leaving Cayci to pick herself up off the ground and glare furiously at Lyssa. The last of the rocks and rubble fell off of Cayci's back as she did so, like so much agonizing dust.
[Stone Edge: Cayci, -24% HP; Lyssa, -14% Energy]

Cayci wanted to repay Lyssa back in full - she well and truly did. However, she wasn't sure what she should do. After all, she couldn't slow down a Protect. Yet she had been ordered to use it upon Lyssa's possible type-advantaged move, like that Stone Edge. But at the same time, there were other moves for her to use. Angry, Cayci made several frustrated chirps and began to smack herself on the face.
Protect Penalty: Cayci, -4% Energy]

Lyssa was rather confused by Cayci's cryptic angry actions, but what she did know was that she had been ordered to protect herself from any widely focused moves. She lifted her hands - the long 'sleeves' of hair on her wrists whipping back to clear the way - and her fingertips began to glow a pale teal color. She waved her arms everywhere, the energy on her fingertips spreading through the air so that it formed a semisolid barrier. Once Lyssa cut off the energy flow, the paint-like energy hardened into a wide, thin, glowing force field. Lyssa smiled with satisfaction, though from Cayci's seething inactivity, Lyssa figured that such a barrier was probably unneeded.
[Wide Guard: Lyssa, -8% Energy]

Saraibre Ryu

[Cayci] Galvantula (F)
Ability: Compound Eyes
Health: 76%
Energy: 89%
Status: Frustrated; her wounds sting.

Beartic Tundra

[Lyssa] Mienshao* (F)
Ability: Regenerator
Health: 87%
Energy: 62%
Status: Smug as a Snivy - if a bit tired. [Aura Sphere Disabled for 5 more actions]

Ref Notes
Disable's roll was 7 out of 4-7; therefore Lyssa is disabled for 5 more actions.
Stone Edge's Accuracy Roll was 35, with 1-80 hitting.
Stone Edge's Crit Roll was 94, with 1-12.5 Critting.
Since Cayci moves faster than Lyssa, and Aura Sphere was Lyssa's last move, it got disabled instead of Stone Edge. Sorry if that's what you were going for, Sabi. :(
Guess what move cannot, nor ever will, be used as a conditional? I'm getting sick of saying it.

Beartic Tundra, your moves please.
I laughed, I cried, I testified;
And in the end found this world altogether lacking.

Thanks, Speed and Dino and also Speed! :D
