On a sandy beach in the middle of nowhere, the nearest town ten miles away, two battlers meet, their Pokemon at their sides. Saraibre Ryu, better known as Sabi, and her Torkoal stand on one side. Smoke seeps out of the hole on Tova’s back, adding to the heat of the sun but not pushing it outside of comfort. On the other side is Tyrannosaurus. His Ferroseed sits in the sand, spinning idly and awaiting the beginning of the battle. As for me, I’m sitting beneath the shade of an umbrella, sipping a piná colada from half a coconut shell. My hand idly raises up, and then falls, signaling them to start.

Iron Head~Iron Head
With startling speed Ferroseed throws herself from the ground, a compact bullet flying through the air. Tova had barely enough time to retreat into her shell before being hit, a silvery sheen spreading across it. Ferroseed strikes her shell head on, but does extremely little damage. She rolls backward, dejected, while Tova pops her head back out. Her shell retains its additional steely hardness, as well, making her that much more effective at defending herself.
Tova uses the time that Ferroseed spends getting far enough back to attack again building up her mental defenses, now that her body is ready for physical attacks. She looks within herself, flipping through various memories, thoughts, and feelings, sorting them rapidly. She picks out any highly distracting or distressing memories, and prepares to quite literally just forget about them, at least for a while. However, while she's in the middle of this Tova manages to get in another Iron Head, and this one, while doing a still meager amount of damage, manages to distract her and prevent her from finishing the attack.
