Ranger Ivy Frost
Chainy yawned, proving how tiring this run had been. She agreed; she could go for a nap too.
“Just move on, I'm ready to go home,” he said. “Besides, this guy doesn't really seem like he wants to battle anyway.” It was true, since shortly after he said it, the Machop wandered off after giving them a long look.
Ivy just shrugged and went through the mouth of the cave, into the snowy path that led up into the main part of the mountain. It had finally stopped snowing, which suggested maybe the Froslass had something to do with it. Instead, it was a calm, clear night, and the snow glowed from the moon's light. It was nice, and despite being the middle of the night, she wasn't tired.
“Hey, Chainy, what do you say to walking back this time? I think that battle got me all wired.” Normally they would just teleport back, since that was easiest and quickest, but sometimes she just liked to enjoy nature. It was one of the reasons she became Park staff in the first place.
When they got back she'd register the three Pokémon he was taking, and they could probably finish the paperwork in the morning. She'd be here bright and early probably, despite being out late. It felt good to be back at work, and she wasn't going to mess that up.
